In Haiti, violence has once again struck the journalistic community. In recent days, two journalists were murdered in incidents that took place in different parts of the country.

00:15Port-au-Prince, and photojournalist Jean-Marc Stevenson, whose body was found days later
00:21in the southern city of Le Cleis, after he had been reported missing.
00:25Both cases have caused concern among colleagues and professional organizations.
00:30The Haitian Sports Press Association described the incident as a significant loss and called
00:35on the authorities to move forward in clarifying the facts.
00:38According to reports, more than 100 journalists have left the country in recent years due to
00:43threats and insecurity.
