07:15it's a toxin that grows on coral this isn't coral this is a barracuda i got right so this toxin

07:21on the coral and all the reef fish will eat the coral and what happens is these barracudas eat a
07:26lot of these reef fish and the ciguatera toxin bioaccumulates so every little bit of that toxin the
07:31fish eats stays within its body forever forever so it's not the only fish we see down here that has
07:38ciguatera but it's the most prevalent because it's eating most of these reef fish here because they
07:43the barracudas live on reefs right yes woof let's see if we can catch another one looks like we got
07:51got i don't think i have oh i'm lying i'm tight baby so a lot of these barracudas can have
07:58that ciguatera
07:58and that's why we typically don't eat them it's just the the risk is too high it's a toxin that
