In this video: There is no partiality with God, yet life on earth can feel like we need to compete in order to stand out and be chosen.  Because our identities have been thrashed by the world, and everything is about performance, we can struggle with that in the body of Christ and feel a need to vie for position.  We go from trying to control our own lives, to wanting to serve God and others, right NOW...no process, just all zeal (and perhaps no wisdom, at the time :) ).
In the church (as an organized system), we can experience others getting promoted around us due to various reasons, some healthy, and some due to favoritism which leaves us feeling rejected and dejected.   This can make us feel like we need to perform and fake it until we make it, rather than allowing the Lord to build us up and push us forward at the right time.
Partiality is missing the mark. We are not to become judges with wrong motives.  Let’s listen to a set of circumstances involving the Lord’s favor on a household who would not have been deserving of His favor, if left up to typical human reasoning.
Scriptures in this episode: Romans 2:11, Romans 5:8, James 2, Acts 10

00:08Welcome back to Marvel and Mysteries. Hello, how are you guys? It's been a minute. It has been a
00:14minute. I started a new job last year. So that's why there hasn't been a whole lot that's happened
00:19because this new job, even though it's a simple one, basically was all of my fears kind of put
00:27together in one job to do every day. And so it's taken me a little bit just to kind of
00:33get my feet
00:34under me and to really feel like I can be successful in what I'm doing. And so I've just had
00:40kind of that struggle, just that general life struggle of managing myself through pain, through
00:47fear, through different anxieties and things like that. I felt like some of the videos that I had
00:55done last year. It was like, I prophetically paved my own road of here's all the things you're going
01:03to have to walk out because you're talking about it. But thanks for hanging in there and for not
01:09dropping off simply because I have been unable to put anything out here for a little bit, just trying
01:15to keep myself together, trying to just get a grip on what every day looks like now, and all of
01:22that.
01:22So I just want to say thank you for your support. Thank you for your prayers as well. That has
01:28really
01:28helped me a ton just to keep moving and to move forward in obedience with what the Lord has asked
01:34me to do. And in that season, it was going from just trying to do this to actually working this
01:42job. So
01:43that is where I'm at and serving the people there just through the very simple things. And even though
01:51it seems like it can be transactional kind of when you're waiting on people, you really are having
01:56these little opportunities just to check in with folks, hear about what's going on in their lives
02:02and their day. And as any of you who work in any kind of a service related business, you know,
02:08sometimes that's the case. But it's amazing in those small interactions, how much you start to know
02:14about folks and care about them and listen to what their needs are. And you might be the only one
02:20who's actively praying for them, they might not have anybody in their life praying for them. So
02:24I just want to encourage you that regardless of what you're doing, if you feel like, geez,
02:29I'm not doing anything grand for God. Oh, yes, you are because you were seeing the least of his
02:35every single day, the least of these and you're caring for them. And it might only be in a six
02:41second
02:42increment. Like the UPS guy, what they got like six seconds or something to, to be able to deliver a
02:49package. But you are delivering so much more to people every day. So don't feel don't let the
02:55enemy lie to you and make you feel like your life doesn't count. And you're what you're doing at work
03:01every day doesn't matter. Because you are still dealing with people all the time. And you're showing
03:07the love of the Lord and what it is like to be someone who's in the kingdom and demonstrating that
03:13for others. And at the end of the day, the wolves don't go to other wolves, they come to the
03:19sheep,
03:20they come to the least likely one for advice, for information and dream interpretation, if you start
03:28to get into that. So there's always going to be a place that you can be the missing piece at
03:34that
03:34time. So don't ever feel like if you don't pack out a stadium and evangelize everyone that you're not
03:41doing something great for God, because you are every day, we are living sacrifices unto him. And
03:47that is to be our reasonable sacrifice. That's our reasonable service to the King of Kings and Lord
03:55of Lords. So thank you, just keep going, stay encouraged and and keep going. And along this line
04:03of kind of comparing yourself to other people, which we all can do sometimes, especially once you come
04:11into the kingdom, and you know, you have a call of God on your life, you can kind of start
04:16to feel
04:17like, impressed to really do something, which is a good thing. But then sometimes it can be the thing
04:24that haunts you like you're not doing enough. And it can go back into you being a human doing instead
04:31of a human being. And it's from your being that the faith comes that the doing comes from that the
04:38the walking in accordance with the Lord, that's where it comes from. So first things first is is
04:44who are you in him and you live out of that. Now, I don't know about you. But in the
04:50days before I was
04:51walking with Jesus, it everything is very much based on your performance, whether it's job life,
04:59anything relationships, even it's all based on your performance, where a relationship with Jesus is not
05:06at all. But if you go all the way up into those that are at the highest levels in the
05:12corporate world,
05:13the vast majority of them are going to say, in terms of the ones that that don't have a relationship
05:19with
05:19the Lord, if you listen to them, most of them will say something kind of like, well, I kind of
05:25feel like
05:25I had everything together kind of under control. Like they're managing the different aspects of their
05:32life similar to how you would manage a company, you know, there's the, the once a week meeting,
05:38maybe the one to one to take a look at this performance, or this set of goals or something
05:43like that. But they are constantly kind of having to, to sort of spin plates and keep everything
05:50spinning. But there's not a real sense of peace. So when something happens, maybe a family member gets
05:57sick, or there's some kind of a tragedy, they really take a different kind of a hit. And so
06:04you'll find folks either running off into chemicals or drinking or something like that to deal with it.
06:10Or they may just end up trying to figure out how they can secure that area and realize that they
06:17don't
06:18have control over it. But they don't trust in the Lord. So they don't really have any place to put
06:23their trust other than in the things that they know, in the advice from other people. And sometimes
06:29that can be good. And then of course, other times, they can be sent up the wrong kind of stream
06:34without
06:34a paddle. So when we come into the kingdom, there's this realization that we went from kind of trying
06:41to control different aspects of our lives to manage everything and make them work. We realize that life
06:47is so much more than what we thought. And that we are important to the Lord and that we have
06:54so much
06:54to give and offer in Him, through Him and by Him, that our focus shifts away from how can I
07:01manage my
07:02own life, so to speak, into how can I serve others? How can I serve the Lord? How can I
07:08serve others?
07:09And so that shift in focus is a really beautiful thing. But it can be something that can also haunt
07:17us if
07:17we're getting caught up in that specifically. The Lord will walk things out. He will, as I've heard
07:25it said, you know, the gifts will make room for you kind of a thing, like whatever His talents are,
07:29because you have natural talents that the Lord gave you, you have spiritual ones from Holy Spirit.
07:37And then of course, Jesus gave us the quote unquote ascension gifts, you know, the fivefold ministry. And those
07:44are people who are particularly dunked in a grace from God. And they are the ones that are equipping
07:52the others. And I realized that in our modern day church culture, it's really weird. It's like the
07:59fivefold is coming back. But so far, some of how that's been done has just made the church kind of
08:08look
08:08like a cult in some ways. And sort of this, almost a worship of those that are in these positions
08:16of
08:16authority. When in actuality, those leaders are to be there in really in humility, because they are
08:26dunked in a particular grace, like they can't change who they are, in the sense that God has wired them
08:32a very specific way to do very specific things. And they're there to help train other people. So it's
08:38really a life of laid down service unto others. And not this grandiose thing, like I am the apostle
08:46over blah, blah, blah, and let's go sit on our throne on the stage and you know, be all, you
08:52know,
08:52hoot about everything. So there is a there's a real difference in what you're seeing today,
08:57because the fivefold has come back. And there's been excesses, and there's been abuses and all of
09:05that. And so now you see like the pendulum coming back, like we need to get rid of it. The
09:10fivefold
09:11doesn't even exist, you know, and you have different, different schools of thought on whether
09:16apostles are for today or not for today and prophets for today or not today. And you have that debate
09:23going
09:24back and forth. And as that pendulum swings back and forth, you have the different denominations,
09:29who all think they're right, all weighing in on what is the reality, what is the truth of this.
09:37But you have these positions and these gifts from Jesus, because they are there to help equip other
09:44people. Like you you would naturally do that think about remove, remove the things of the Lord for a
09:50second. If you need to fix your car, you're not going to go to the baker. You're going to go
09:56to
09:56somebody who knows how to fix a car, because that's what they know how to do or whatever their natural
10:02talents are, if they're really great, and they can kind of mechanically figure anything out. Well,
10:08that's going to be the person you're going to go to. So it just it just makes obvious sense in
10:14the
10:14natural that you need these people, they're really gifted and talented in their identity and who they
10:21are. So we have these giftings from the Lord. And we're to use those as part of our call in
10:28in talking
10:29to other people in dealing with other people. And what you'll find though, sometimes over time,
10:35because our identities have been so thrashed by the world, and kind of a dog eat dog and everybody
10:44is trying to get to the top of the heap and all of that and outrank everybody else when you
10:49have
10:50that kind of going on in the natural and everything is about performance, and rewarding just that and
10:56nothing else, then you're going to have a situation that gets set up where it becomes like a favoritism
11:03situation, you have folks that are vying for attention, and they're wanting to gain the favor of
11:10people. And so they throw their own conscience sometimes aside, and they'll do whatever kind of
11:17to get there. And that is exactly where the enemy wants people to be is not actually recognizing others
11:24for their talents for what makes them amazing and how they're wired by God. But of course,
11:32to shred people along the way, and to have that dog eat dog power play thing always going on. So
11:39you'll
11:39see that so much in in in work in life in gatherings, you just see that that that willingness to
11:47just
11:48try to crawl to the top in any way, shape or form. And then with a lot of other people
11:53who feel like
11:54they're just cast aside, and they never get their moment, because they are not favored by somebody
12:01else who's at the top. And this is the issue that still ekes its way into the church all of
12:09the time
12:10is that idea of favoritism, and partiality. We know according to Romans to God shows no partiality.
12:19There is none of that there's no favoritism with him, it is a clean slate with him. And he kind
12:25of
12:25put a giant exclamation point on that from the beginning, because when we were still sinners,
12:32Christ decided to die for us. And he died for us. While we were in that that state of just
12:38missing
12:38the mark and not understanding what we're supposed to be doing here on earth. He already decided,
12:44he wiped the slate clean, like they are messed up. I'm going to redeem them all. And they are all
12:51going
12:51to be blessed. And everything that we know from the promises of God in the word is what we are
12:58able
12:58to have in him, and what he died to give us. So that is the ultimate clean slate just to
13:05start right
13:05there. And then of course, when we come to him, as we're repenting, just to change our mind,
13:12from the way we used to do things to the way we do things in him now, when you're changing
13:18your mind,
13:18that's repentance. It you know, there can be godly sorrow that actually accompanies that repentance,
13:25because you go, Oh, my gosh, Lord, you structured things to be this way for me to help protect me.
13:32And rather than listening to you, I ran headlong into rebellion or something else, and I got myself
13:38hurt. And so you feel that you feel that godly sorrow for the things that you've done yourself for the
13:45things that you've done other people, and the things ultimately that you've done to the Lord,
13:50the one who has literally laid down his own life, so that you could have a life in him. So
13:55once you
13:56make that transition into into the kingdom of the Most High God, and that's what he does, he transfers
14:02you out of one kingdom into another, you have a different lens, but there can still be that issue
14:09with favoritism and partiality, because you still don't have Christ formed inside you yet, like you're
14:17in a process of growing up in him. It's not like we just pop out of the spiritual womb matured,
14:23we don't,
14:24it would be nice if that happened, but that's not what it happens. So your spirit ends up being perfect
14:31from him out of the gate when you're born again. But the rest of you is working out your salvation
14:37with fear and trembling, because you're learning about his ways, his thoughts, following him.
14:45But in that upward climb to understanding who you really are, and wanting to function, because once
14:52you're born again, you want to function in your call so desperately, because you realize that there's
14:58a lot of time that's gone by in your life. I know that's how I felt when I got born
15:02again, it was like,
15:03oh my gosh, I felt like I wasted so much time. All of it was really training for my own
15:08good,
15:09so I can help other people as well. But you do, you look back and it's like, oh gosh, I
15:14so missed it.
15:15And I spent all this time being worried about all of the wrong things. And you know, you end up
15:21where
15:21you have God's heart and what he would want on your heart. And the desires that he has are in
15:27yours.
15:28And so you want to live that out. And you want to do all of it right now. And what
15:33can happen is
15:34you're vying for a position. Or maybe you're thinking, oh, you know, I'm going to be taken
15:41under the wing of this mentor or that mentor. Or maybe this will be a spiritual mom or a father
15:48to
15:49me. And you're just really hoping to have that opportunity. But God will make sure that you are not
15:57just fed to the wolves. There are some folks that are going to walk right into their lair,
16:04even though they're parading around as men and women of God, when in reality, they are not.
16:11The Lord will protect you and you will learn a ton when you're with them and around them. Because
16:17all things really do work together for the good, for those who love the Lord and are called according
16:23to his purpose, which you are. So those things, even if it's nasty, cruel, or any of that,
16:31it is going to work together. There will be setups that essentially the enemy brings to try to
16:39destroy you. And in that, the Lord will still rescue you out. And there's the scripture that talks
16:47about the temptation that there's no temptation that has been put before you that there isn't an
16:53escape from that he gives you. So if you keep that in mind, as you're moving along through your life,
16:59and especially learning and growing in the Lord, you won't have to worry about necessarily stepping
17:06into the wrong thing. Of course, you want to be obedient to him, always be obedient to the Lord in
17:12every way that you can. But he will guide you through those steps. And even if some of them
17:18are into what feels like a quagmire or sewer or something like that, he will get you to the other
17:25side of that thing. But in the partiality that God, I mean, it's a sin. Partiality is missing the
17:33mark altogether. I wanted to read something to you. And this is from James. Ooh, let me get these things
17:39on. Okay, so it actually this little section, this is from James two, is called the sin of partiality.
17:46My fellow believers do not practice your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of
17:54partiality. He says toward people show no favoritism, no prejudice, no snobbery. Oh my gosh, there's a lot
18:01of snobbery. You find that a lot. For if a man comes into your meeting place wearing a gold ring
18:07and
18:07fine clothes and a poor man in dirty clothes also comes in, and you pay special attention to the
18:14one who wears fine clothes, and you say to him, you sit here in this good seat, and you tell
18:19the poor
18:19man you stand over there or sit down on the floor by my footstool, have you not discriminated among
18:26yourselves and become judges with wrong motives? Just circle that and highlight that. Wrong motives are
18:37the catalyst for so much nonsense that can go on in anybody's walk, but especially those that follow
18:44Jesus. Wrong motives. Any of you who have been through any kind of codependency training, that is
18:50something that they stress with people is to make sure why are you doing what you're doing,
18:58especially in codependent relationships? Why are you doing what you're doing? Do you have to
19:04respond this way every time? Do you have to bail the person out of their nightmares all the time?
19:09Like, why are you doing that? Is it a need within yourself? So this is, we're looking at the wrong
19:15motives that are behind doing what people do. It says, listen, my beloved brothers and sisters,
19:21has not God chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith as believers to be heirs of
19:28the kingdom,
19:28which he promised to those who love him. But you, in contrast, have dishonored the poor man.
19:36Is it not the rich who oppress and exploit you and personally drag you into the courts of law?
19:42No, this isn't a commentary on rich versus poor, but that whole idea of favoritism is there. It's like,
19:49and so you'll see some of that going on in the church. And kind of that positioning of,
19:56well, if I can get close to so-and-so, then they know so-and-so. And it's kind of
20:01like business
20:02networking came over into the church in a wrong way. It's like, okay, who can I just get close to
20:09and then keep riding everybody's coattails until I've made it so that I can really be who God has
20:15called me to be? So we have to watch for that and realize that in some cases, when, especially when
20:24you feel like you're seeing people get promoted all around you, um, and like nothing's happening
20:30for you, that can be very, it can be very stressful. I know I went through a season of that
20:36in particular,
20:37where it was like, it didn't matter what event I went to, there would be something that happened
20:43that was so spiritually profound to me. And, and you know, when you're like kind of devastated,
20:48but in a, in a good way, like it's, it's a good devastation, but it's like part of your paradigm
20:53just got leveled. And you're trying to just make sense of all of the rubble that's around you
21:00and trying to understand, and then also trying not to just stand there in the middle of it,
21:05like bleeding and wounded. Uh, so you're just, you're looking for somebody to come real quick
21:11and do some triage so you can stop the bleeding and get things moving in a healthy direction.
21:16But I remember that there was an entire season where that was happening almost any event that I
21:22went to or a conference that I went to. And what I noticed is that I would be standing there
21:29just
21:29personally devastated. I may be crying or something like that. And, um, or just outwardly, obviously
21:36disturbed, like something had really shifted on the inside and no one would, no one would come to me
21:44and I would see all these other people getting ministry. And the funny thing is, okay, Monday,
21:52Monday morning court, I can't say that Monday morning quarterbacking the situation is that in some of
22:00those cases, the leader, it would come out years later was actually partially infatuated with some of
22:10the ones they were ministering to. So I'm sitting there feeling like I'm chopped liver, and these
22:18other people are getting the attention, which started to make me think, well, maybe I'm not this or that
22:24enough, because that's what we do in the world. Well, maybe I'm not, you know, maybe I'm not spiritual
22:30enough, or maybe I'm not old enough in the Lord to warrant some kind of attention. Or maybe it's because
22:37so and so is a pastor already that, you know, God wants them to get ministered to and who cares
22:43about
22:44me. Some of it was that some of it was literally the leader was wanting something else from the
22:51individual they were supposed to be ministering to. And I'm sitting there receiving it like it's
22:57some kind of weird rejection. And in other cases, it was just literally the Lord was having me deal
23:04with some things and was protecting me from other situations too. So you just don't know. And you
23:11need to trust the Lord when you're going through those seasons of feeling like you're misunderstood
23:17or feeling like nobody sees you. No one appreciates what you have to offer, because we all have wonderful
23:26things to offer. But sometimes it takes a minute to get all of that to come up. Like when you,
23:33when you're sifting through sand, and you're looking for gold, or you're looking for some other
23:39pretty mineral or something, it can take a minute, you can be standing there shaking that sand out for
23:44quite a while in the mud and the dirt before you actually get to anything that's that's really
23:49worthwhile. So we go through that process too. So you have to be patient with yourself as you do,
23:56and know that at the right time, and in the in the in the good set of circumstances that the
24:03Lord has
24:03set aside for you from the beginning, that you're going to be able to walk into that in the right
24:09place. And there are so many days that I thank God that he didn't release me into anything sooner,
24:18because I would have made a mess of things because I was young in the Lord. And I was young
24:25in life
24:26in general. I just turned 50 in January. And I still feel like I'm one of those wet behind the
24:35ears
24:35kids, those young whippersnappers that have like almost like you don't have enough life experience yet
24:42to really help anybody else. Because if you're really thinking with wisdom, that's kind of how you
24:47think about it. Because you see yourself not in a perspective of I am the expert of everything or
24:54anything like that. You're just moving through it and gaining wisdom along the way. So I want to
24:59encourage you if you're in those seasons of like, gosh, it seems like everybody else is, is getting the
25:06nod from the Lord or being elevated by leadership. It that doesn't always mean it's because you're not
25:15great or amazing in the Lord or you're not talented. It can very well be the Lord protecting
25:21you from accidentally being out there saying all kinds of things because everybody wants that
25:27microphone until you go up there and you parrot what a lot of these other guys say. And then later
25:36on
25:37the criticism comes and you're like, Oh, I was up there saying that same thing.
25:42So there is there's a little bit of a saving from those things. And I also wanted to go to
25:48I just
25:49got to find out where it was about about partiality and they're not being you just can't you just can't
25:57have it being perverted. It's like the there's a royal law of love and that you love your neighbor
26:05as yourself. And so you can't be deciding to just love these ones less and do this over it like
26:14you're supposed to love your neighbor as yourself. But this was this is an axe 10. And this kind of
26:21backdrop of this the context of this is that Cornelius he's he was a centurion in the Italian
26:29regiment. And he loved the Lord and his whole household feared God. And so he was praying in
26:36the afternoon one day. And this like glowing being is in front of him. And so he's he was, you
26:44know,
26:45petrified. But he also asked like, What is it, sir? Because he's just praying and all of a sudden,
26:50here's this here's this angel of the Lord that's standing before him. And the angel of the Lord even
26:55said, Cornelius, like, just announced like, I'm here. And so the angel ends up saying that he's
27:06let me see, let me let me read here. This is back in verse three, about the ninth hour, 3pm
27:14of the day,
27:15he meaning Cornelius clearly saw a vision of an angel of God who had come to him and said, Cornelius,
27:22Cornelius was frightened and stared intently at him and said, Well, what is it, Lord? And the angel
27:27said to him, Your prayers and gifts of charity have ascended as a memorial offering before God.
27:34Now send men to Joppa and have them call for a man named Simon, who is also called Peter,
27:42and invite him here. And he even tells him where he's staying. Oh, yeah, he's staying with Simon,
27:47the Tanner, or he lives over by the sea. Like, it's just kind of cool. When the angel was speaking
27:52to him, when the angel that was speaking to him had gone, Cornelius called two of his servants and
27:58a devout soldier from among his own personal attendants. And after explaining everything to
28:03them, he sent them to Joppa. Okay. So now Peter is going to respond to what this happens. Because if
28:12we skip ahead to, let me see where I need to pick it up at. Let me see. Okay. So
28:23Peter,
28:26this is on this is on the next day. So Peter is up on the roof of the house about
28:32noon. And he is praying
28:34and he became hungry and he wanted something to eat. When the meal was being prepared, he fell into a
28:41trance and he saw the sky opened up and an object like a great sheet. This Bible is so heavy.
28:49He saw an object like a great sheet descending, lowered by its four corners to the earth. And it
28:57contained all kinds of four footed animals and crawling creatures of the earth and birds of the
29:02air. And a voice came to him and said, Get up, Peter, kill and eat. But Peter said, Not at
29:09all,
29:09Lord, for I have never eaten anything that is common, meaning unholy, and ceremonially unclean.
29:17And the voice came to him a second time and said, What God has cleansed and pronounced clean,
29:23no longer consider common. So think about that just for a minute. If God calls it one thing,
29:30you can't be calling it another thing.
29:34So this happened three times, and then immediately the object was taken up into heaven. So Peter is
29:40sitting there just perplexed by all of this. And he ends up, you know, getting invited to a Gentile's
29:47house. So now I'm going to skip ahead to when he actually goes there. So Peter says to them,
29:54Okay, I'm going to verse 28. You know that it is unlawful for a Jewish man to associate with or
30:00befriend a Gentile or to visit him. And yet God has shown me that I am not to call anyone
30:08common
30:09or ceremonially unclean. Therefore, when I was sent for, I came without raising an objection.
30:18So I asked, For what reason have you sent me? And Cornelius said, Four days ago to this hour,
30:25I was praying in my house during the ninth hour, and a man dressed in bright, dazzling clothing
30:30suddenly stood before me. And then he goes through the when the angel tells him his name, and it also
30:38says like, Hey, your prayers and everything has come up before the Lord as this, you know, beautiful
30:43offering. And that he was instructed to go and get Simon. So as Simon continues, as Peter continues,
30:54he said, Most certainly, I understand now that God is not one to show partiality to people,
31:02as though Gentiles were excluded from God's blessing. I'm in the amplified. Sorry, I should have told you
31:08that. But in every nation, the person who fears God and does what is right is acceptable and welcomed
31:17by him. So we are all accepted and welcomed by the Lord. There is no partiality. He's not favoring
31:30one over another. He doesn't show that kind of partiality. So allow the Lord to work things out
31:39in your own life as you're growing in him, as there are opportunities for him to work with you to
31:46help
31:47other people. Allow him to do that because there's a there's a timing to everything. And there's a set of
31:52circumstances for everything. And in this case, for both Peter and Cornelius, Peter is thinking,
31:59there's no way, there's no way I'm going to this guy's house, like had the Lord not given him that
32:04vision
32:06and telling him like, hey, don't call something that is unlike, you're not going to call it common, you're
32:12not going to call it unclean. If I've called it holy, like that's, that's the end, end of the story
32:19right there. Okay, we're gonna put a punctuation in that. It's that you also have Cornelius, who is
32:25thinking? Who am I necessarily to have this? Like, I love the Lord, but I'm not Jewish. Like I'm not.
32:34And yet, it's his family when Cornelius gathers his friends and his family at his home, that when
32:42Peter arrives, when Peter starts to share with them about the gospel, and he is speaking these words
32:50of life, the Holy Spirit fell on a Gentile family, and they were all speaking in tongues they did not
33:00know. And then after all of that, they get baptized. A Gentile household. A household that up until that
33:11point, Peter wouldn't have gone to, because he's a Jewish man, and he shouldn't be hanging out with
33:18these guys. So we have to remember, in all things, there's, there's a timing, there's a place for
33:26things. And there is a point when those things that seem like partiality and favoritism going on
33:33around you, and the enemy could be bringing that, he could be bringing that all around you. But rest
33:39assured that that all is going to function like a test almost for you. It's going to work for you
33:48if you allow it to. If you don't allow the bitterness of heart and judgment and thinking like,
33:56wow, you know, like all of that nasty kind of religious spirit junk that tries to sneak its way in.
34:04If you allow the Lord to work things out, it's going to come into something that's going to be
34:10such a blessing for you in the right timing. It will protect you. And you also are going to be
34:18so
34:18much closer to the Lord because you're praying for all of the people around you too. When you're seeing
34:24the, what would be called in the church, orphan behavior by others, you just rest in knowing that
34:31God has created you to be a very specific puzzle piece. And at the right time and date,
34:37he can send an angel that's going to tell you everything that's needed and make sure that that
34:45word of the Lord gets to you. And in this case, between Peter and Cornelius, that's what the angel
34:50did. You're going to go send for him here. I'll even go tell you where to find him. Here's,
34:55here's his house where he's staying. God won't miss it. He won't miss you. He won't miss the
35:01timing in your life to bring you into that place where you no longer have to feel like you're vying
35:10or having to compete for some kind of position. So I went long on that. That took a few detours.
35:17I
35:17didn't expect it to, but just remember, remember that you love your neighbor as yourself and do not
35:26allow for the perversion of partiality to enter in because God doesn't do that. And neither should
35:35we. He started everything off by cleaning the slate entirely. And we have no footing to actually be
35:46partial to this one or that one. We are to stay in our free will of loving others,
35:54not violating them, not violating theirs. So I hope that this encouraged you today. It was kind of a
36:02little meander all over the place. Um, but I hope that you found something that helped you to kind
36:09of process things through. So God bless you. Thanks so much for your prayers. And I'm praying for all of
36:16you. If there's anything that I can be praying for, uh, please send me an email. Let me know. You
36:22can put
36:23it in the comments, but if you want to be private, um, then please send it in an email. You
36:29can send it
36:29to contact at matrixofjustice.org and I'll get those and be praying for you. All right. Very good. Thanks
36:37so much for watching.
