01:15A reading from the Acts of the Apostles
01:19Some Jews arrived from Antioch and Iconiu and turned their people against the apostles.
01:25They stomped Paul and dragged him outside the town, thinking he was dead.
01:30The disciples came grounding around him, but as they did so, he stood up and went back to the town.
01:38The next day, he and Barnabas left off for Debbie.
01:44Having preached the good news in that town and made a considerable number of disciples,
01:50they went back through Lystra and Iconiu to Antioch.
01:55They put fresh heart into the disciples, encouraging them to persevere in the faith.
02:01We all have to experience many hardships, they said, before we enter the kingdom of God.
