00:14In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, please be with you.
00:20We acknowledge our sins. We acknowledge, more importantly, the compassion, the mercy and the love of God.
00:28Your love is bigger than our fears. Lord, have mercy. You lead us into hope and trust. Christ, have mercy.
00:36And you call us into your amazing love. Lord, have mercy. May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us
00:44our sins and lead us into healing and life everlasting. Let us pray.
00:54O God, who have taught us to chasten our bodies for the healing of our souls, enable us, we pray,
01:02to abstain from all sin and strengthen our hearts to carry out your loving commands.
01:07Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
01:14God, forever and ever. Amen.
01:16Amen.

02:46arms, nor goats from among your herds. To the upright I will show the saving power
02:52of God. But how can you recite my commandments and take my covenant on your lips, you who
02:59despise my law and throw my words to the winds? To the upright I will show the saving power
03:06of God. You do this, and should I keep silence? Do you think that I am like you? The sacrifice
03:14of thanksgiving honours me, and I will show God's salvation to the upright. To the upright
03:20I will show the saving power of God. Let us stand to welcome the gospel. Glory and praise
03:26to you, Lord Jesus Christ. Rid yourselves of all your sins and make a new heart and a new
03:34spirit. Glory and praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
03:46The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. A reading from the Holy Gospel according to
03:52Matthew. According to you, Lord. Addressing the people and his disciples, Jesus said,
03:58The scribes and the Pharisees occupy the chair of Moses. You must therefore do what they tell
04:04you, and listen to what they say. But do not be guided by what they do, since they do not
04:11practice what they preach. They tie up heavy burdens and lay them on people's shoulders.
04:18But will they lift their finger to move them? Not they. Everything they do is done to attract
04:25attention, like wearing broader phylacteries and longer tassels, like wanting to take the
04:32place of honour at banquets and the front seats in the synagogues, being greeted obsequiously
04:38in the market squares, having people called them rabbi. You, however, must not allow yourselves
04:46to be called rabbi, since you have only one master, and you are all brothers and sisters.
04:53You must call no one on earth your father, since you have only one father, and he is in heaven.
05:00Nor must you allow yourselves to be called teachers, for you have one teacher, the Christ.
05:08The greatest among you must be your servant. Anyone who exalts themself will be humbled, and
05:17anyone who humbles themself will be exalted. The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise to you,
05:27Lord Jesus Christ.
05:44I don't think that Jesus is saying, you don't call dad, dad. I think he's talking about false pretenses. I
05:53think he's talking about pride. I think he's talking about hypocrisy.
05:57Something we all need to be careful about. Jesus wants us to be straightforward and transparent. He wants us to
06:07be servants of love to each other.
06:11So in this time of Lent, it's good to keep looking at our motives, to ensure that our motives are
06:17coming from a clear heart.
06:21No one's perfect. No one's perfect, of course. Only God is. At the same time, we must not get complacent,
06:26and we need to keep being attentive to all of our relationships, to see how we are connecting.
06:32That we are connecting. That we are serving in love. That we are not just following the externals. That there
06:40is a real sincerity, and a real humility. Humility being down to earth, and being real.
07:04Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation. For to your goodness we have this bread to offer, which what
07:10has given human hands have made. It will become for us the bread of life.
07:14Blessed be God of all creation.
07:32Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation. For to your goodness we have this wine to offer. Fruit of
07:37divine work of human hands. It will become a spiritual drink.
07:41Blessed be God of all creation.
07:48Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
07:55Let the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name.
08:00Let us pray, brothers and sisters.
08:02Let us pray, brothers and sisters.
08:03Accept in your goodness these prayers, O Lord, and set free from worthy attractions those who follow, those you allow
08:12to serve the heavenly mysteries.
08:14Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
08:17The Lord be with you. And with your spirit.
08:20Lift up your hearts. Lift them up.
08:22Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
08:25And with your right and just.
08:26And with your right and just.
08:26It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, Holy
08:33Father, Almighty and eternal God.
08:35For you have given your children a sacred time for the renewing and purifying of their hearts.
08:41And freed from disordered affections, they may so deal with the things of this passing world, so as to hold
08:49rather to the things that eternally endure.
08:51And so, with the angels and saints, we praise you as without end.
08:56We acclaim, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory.
09:04Hosanna in the highest.
09:06Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
09:10Hosanna in the highest.
09:21You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
09:25Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they
09:31may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
09:35At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread, and giving thanks, broke it,
09:42and gave it to his disciples, saying,
09:45Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body, which will be given up for
09:51you.
09:58In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks, he gave it
10:11to his disciples, saying,
10:12Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of
10:19the new and eternal covenant, which will be pulled out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
10:26Do this in memory of me.
10:36The mystery of faith, save us, Savior of the world, for by your cross and resurrection, you have set us
10:45free.
10:46Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and
10:52the chalice of salvation,
10:54giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
11:00Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the
11:06Holy Spirit.
11:07Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness of charity,
11:13together with me, our Pope, me, your own worthy servants, and all the clergy, and the entire people your Son
11:21has gained for you.
11:23Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
11:28and all who have died in your mercy, welcome them into the light of your face.
11:34Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, Blessed Joseph, her spouse,
11:41with the blessed apostles and all the saints who have preached you throughout the ages,
11:46we may merit to be coerced to eternal life, and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:58Through him and with him and in him, O God, Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
12:04all glory and honor is yours forever and ever. Amen.
12:10The Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say,
12:15Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
12:19Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
12:24Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,
12:33and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
12:38Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
12:41Graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your mercy,
12:45we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress,
12:48as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
12:54For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever.
13:00Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles,
13:03Peace I leave you, my peace I give you.
13:05Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your church,
13:08and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will,
13:12who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
13:15The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
13:18And with your spirit.
13:19Let us offer each other a sign of peace. Peace be with you all.
13:22Peace be with you.
13:26Lamb of God.
13:27Who take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
13:31Lamb of God.
13:32Who take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
13:35Lamb of God.
13:36Who take away the sins of the world, grant us peace.
13:46Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world.
13:49Happy are those who are called to the supper of the Lamb.
13:52Lord, I am not worthy.
13:54You should enter under my roof.
13:56And only say the word, and my soul shall be healed.
14:01My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
14:05I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
14:10Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
14:14come at least spiritually into my heart.
14:16I embrace you as if you were already there, and unite myself wholly to you.
14:22Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
14:27Let us pray.
14:29May this communion, O Lord, cleanse us of wrongdoing,
14:32and make us earth to the joy of heaven.
14:35Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
14:37The Lord be with you. And with yours.
14:39And may the peace and the blessing of the Father and of the Son
14:42and of the Holy Spirit come upon you and remain always with you.
14:46Amen.
14:46Let us go and live the Gospel and proclaim it by our lives.
14:51Thanks very much.
14:52God bless your day.
14:54God bless you.
14:56God bless you.
14:59Amen.
14:59Amen.
