00:26She told TV6 News a high-level meeting will be held later this week to discuss variations into the project.
00:35Minister John toured the upgraded A&R Robinson International Airport on Sunday afternoon.
00:42She, along with her team, starting from the tarmac and doing a walkthrough of the facility.
00:48The minister told TV6 News one of the setbacks in opening the facility is the installation of a fueling station
00:57for aircraft.
00:58I'm scheduling a meeting this week with the project managers, NETCO Airport Authority, the client, and by the Ministry of
01:08Finance.
01:10Just to go with the closeout items, I don't have it in detail before me, I just walk through to
01:15see where they were.
01:17One of the outstanding items that I saw would have been the fueling.
01:20All right, because at the end of the day, when planes come, they have to fuel, you have to think
01:24about it in the wrong time, as it relates to that fuel.
01:27So that is a major concern.
01:31Minister John said Tobago needs to move beyond just taglines.
01:36Tourism is a great product of bringing people, bringing eyeballs, bringing forex, and so on.
01:41But it is a very competitive business.
01:44Just having the tagline and the buzzwords, not enough.
01:47We have to work hard, hard, hard to put ourselves in front of that plan.
01:51She said the billion-dollar project would have some variations.
01:55And once this becomes reality, she wants firm explanations.
02:00Someone who molds the policy and has to account to the cabinet and ultimately people are to have to make
