00:00Let's go up to the six in Toronto. How about Kazuma Okamoto? 235 batting average,
00:05eight home runs this season, 20 RBI and an OPS of 770. But how about the latest week here,
00:10Craig? Last seven days, three home runs and nine RBI at this point right now.
00:15Look at that. Third baseman with a little bit of power early on in the season.
00:19Yeah, you knew the Jays were going to come around. They were too good last year to
00:22not come around. And injuries to Springer and now Trey Savage is back. They're starting to
00:27get their pieces. And then Okamoto was one of the players that they brought in to be
00:31an additional piece for them this season. So this doesn't surprise me. But as you see with
00:36international players, they sometimes do get off to these incredible starts and then adjustments
00:40are made. Murakami in particular in Chicago is the one that really stands out to me as maybe the
00:46single best free agent signing in Major League Baseball this offseason. He's been absolutely
00:49fantastic for the White Sox and they have a lot to be happy about. But Okamoto, also a very good
00:54player, at least for the time being with Toronto. Can't be completely sold here and have to see
00:58things play out. But yes, off to a really good start.
