04:41She had heard he was dealing with the Pharisee, and had brought with her an alabaster jar of ointment.
04:51She waited behind him at his feet, weeping, and her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them away
04:59with her hair.
05:01Then she covered his feet with kisses, and anointed them with the ointment.
05:07When the Pharisee, who had invited him, saw this, he said to himself,
05:14If this man were a prophet, you would know who this woman is that is touching him, and what a
05:21bad name she has.
05:25Then Jesus took him up and said, Simon, I have something to say to you.
05:31Speak, Master, was the reply.
05:33There was once a creditor who had two men in his debt.
05:38One owed him five hundred denarii, the other fifty.
05:42They were unable to pay, so he pardoned them both.

07:36It is a strong mark of Christians.
07:39It is our weakness, our frailty, our insecurity,
07:44that stops us from being free enough
07:48to forgive.
07:51It has got to do with, in a sense, untruthfulness.
07:57We may not think so, but it has got to do with untruthfulness.
08:01Pride is untruthfulness.
08:05And our false pride blocks us from being free enough,
08:11not believing enough that we are loved,
08:14to forgive another.
08:16Having said that, I know it may not be easy.
08:19We carry all types of things within us.
08:23And we too, sometimes, all we can do sometimes is come to the Lord and say,
08:27Lord, I want to, but I'm finding it out.
08:29I want to do your will, but I'm finding it out.
08:33And we come before him, trusting in his compassion.
08:36And not sell ourselves short, either.
08:41Not easy, but with the grace of God, things can happen.
08:46So we come to him, from whom all riches come.
08:51So he can set us free.
08:54And the best antidote to anything like this,
08:59is really contemplating, accepting,
09:03how deeply loved we are every moment,
09:07by our God.
09:09Unconditionally loved.
09:11Absolutely loved.
09:13With his infinite love.
09:28Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
09:31for to your goodness we have this bread to offer.
09:33which earth has given human hands have made,
09:36it will become for us the bread of life.
