02:08and an exclusive sneaky peek of behind the scenes
02:10of those incredible stunts.

02:39Ian!
02:40Excellent, the car.
02:41Goodbye, Ian.
02:42Ian!
02:55Everyone, stay back!
02:56I guess there is no one to blame
03:01We're leaving the ground
03:15We've got to get out of here.
03:16What?
03:17Now!
03:18No!
03:21Action!
03:21Get out of here.
03:22Go!
03:53Right, firstly, I want to say hello, everyone.
03:56Hello, everyone.
03:57Matt, that is your first view of the explosion.
04:00Tell me your first reaction. How does that feel watching that?
04:03I've got that fur coat on again.
04:05That's bad luck, that coat.
04:08It's pretty impressive.
04:09It is, isn't it? Yeah.
04:10And we're seeing that at VT, you and Colleen,
04:12you had yourselves a little stunt double.
04:14How was that working with those?
04:15Well, I didn't have a double, I did it all myself.
04:17You've done yourself. Adam, did they struggle?
04:19Tom Cruise.
04:20Oh, no, no, no, I had a stunt double.
04:21Did they struggle?
04:23Did they struggle finding someone your size?
04:26I'm only joking.
04:26I'm only joking.
04:28I'm only joking.
04:29Smile.
04:30No, let's not talk about the teeth.
04:33Now, listen, the Christmas storyline has had the audience gripped
04:36ever since Christmas, and tonight they found out
04:39everything that went down.
04:40So, Cindy, you got to shoot Ian for real this time.
04:43That must have been nice.
04:45I'm going off you. Sorry, sorry.
04:47You're supposed to be my mate.
04:48I am your mate, I am.
04:49This is a friendly bit of a banner.
04:50It wasn't for real, it was an accident.
04:51It was an accident.
04:52It's always an accident.
04:53It wasn't pushing him in front of the car, though, was it?
04:55Well, I did push him in front of the car.
04:57Yeah, that wasn't an accident.
04:57She did.
04:58Yeah, she did.
04:59Well, we'll forgive you for that one.
05:01Yes, yes.
05:01Kathy, you've been done for attempted murder?
05:03I don't know why.
05:04I know.
05:04I mean, this ain't the first time.
05:05You were accused early on in the year, wouldn't you,
05:07for a little murder?
05:08There might have been something going on there.
05:10I don't know.
05:10I can't remember now.
05:11So, what was it for you, Adam, watching that?
05:13It was good.
05:14First time we've seen it.
05:14I mean, it's pretty spectacular, isn't it?
05:16Yeah, it was good.
05:17For most of it, we were completely in the dark.
05:19We didn't have a clue what was going on.
05:23We've all had to do it.
05:24We've had to play not knowing if we've whacked her over the head
05:27with a shovel or not for ages.
05:29And then eventually, we got let in on it as to which one of us had done it.
05:35Oh, it's funny you should say that, Adam, because as if by magic,
05:38we had our cameras there.
05:39So, let's have a look at that moment.
05:40Our big boss, Chris Clenshaw, revealed the full story to our nine suspects.
05:53My money has been from day one.
05:56Mum or me.
05:58Simple as that.
06:00I think it's Ian, Cathy and Peter.
06:05I think they're all in on it.
06:08I think it's Cathy.
06:12That woman has made so many people unhappy.
06:1960, 40, I've got two people in my head and I can't work out who I think.
06:23It's a bill. It's got to be a bill.
06:24I want it to be a bill.
06:25I want to see the bills get their revenge on Cindy.
06:28I want to see the bill.
06:28I'm really excited.
06:28I want to see the bill.
06:28I'm really excited.
06:29I'm genuinely very excited.
06:30It's been quite tense.
06:32Yes.
06:59Hello, everyone.
07:06Thank you, thank you all for meeting me.
07:09I can feel some tension and some nerves.
07:12Shall I leave the room?
07:13No, you should not leave the room.
07:15Today, I'm going to be revealing which one of you tried to kill Cindy Bill,
07:21leaving her for dead on Christmas Day after attacking her with a snow shovel.
07:27Wicked people.
07:28Yes.
07:28The Walford Whacker.
07:30The Walford Whacker.
07:31Does anyone have any strong theories?
07:33Yeah.
07:34Oh, you're all pointing at one another.
07:38Three people.
07:40Okay, you ready to find out?
07:41Yes.
07:42Let me set the scene.
07:47It's the 19th of February, 2025.
07:50It's the 40th anniversary of EastEnders.
07:53Cindy is on a mission to find out who tried to kill her on Christmas Day.
07:57On the night of the attack, Cindy was wearing Lucy's locket, but it was snatched from her neck.
08:05Cindy thinks that if she can find the locket, she can find out who attacked her.
08:09After heated confrontation in the Vick, in front of all you suspects, Cindy is cast out onto the streets yet
08:17again.
08:18But later, in number 45, she finds someone holding the locket.
08:30Outraged and seething, Cindy pulls out a gun.
08:34Oh, jeez.
08:38She's pointing it at...
08:43Ian.
08:53The story doesn't end there.
08:56I knew it!
08:59I knew it!
09:00I knew it!
09:03Fearing for his life, Ian pleads his innocence and under the pressure, he cracks and reveals Cindy's attacker.
09:16Peter.
09:17Peter.
09:20I knew it!
09:22What did I say?
09:24I knew it!
09:25Oh, but hold on.
09:26Cindy doesn't believe Ian.
09:28She continues to threaten Ian with the gun.
09:32She wants the truth.
09:34She's desperate.
09:35Cindy's patience is wearing thin.
09:37Her finger tightens around the trigger.
09:42Just as the gun is about to fire, in walks the real attempted murderer.
10:02Cathy.
10:04Oh, I knew it!
10:06I knew it!
10:08I knew it!
10:09I knew it!
10:10So back in the house, a tussling ensues.
10:13The gun's going off.
10:15And it goes off.
10:16Someone gets shot.
10:17Ian gets shot, doesn't he?
10:19Poor Ian again.
10:19Not Ian again.
10:20Ian gets shot.
10:22Oh, Ian.
10:23Oh, this is too much of me.
10:25Why always me?
10:26Can you breathe?
10:27I can't breathe.
10:28This is too good.
10:28Now, unbelievably, this isn't the end of the story.
10:31Oh, good.
10:32The battle between Cathy, Cindy and Ian spills out onto the street.
10:38Ian, in agony and desperation, begs Cindy for peace, but she can only see red.
10:45As a car speeds towards them, Cindy pushes Ian into the road.
10:52I love a car.
10:54But the seemingly invincible Ian avoids death, yet again, as the driver of the car swerves
11:01and smashes into the Queen Victoria pub.
11:05Oh, wow.
11:06Within moments, the car and the gas canisters explode and the Queen Vit, as we know it,
11:12is no more.
11:14What?
11:15No more.
11:16So Cindy's moment of revenge has devastating repercussions.
11:22Oh, hang on.
11:23So, in the Vic, is that Honey and Billy's wedding reception?
11:26Yes.
11:29Right, right.
11:29What does everyone think about it being Cathy?
11:31Well, she's earned it.
11:33She's earned it.
11:33She's watched her son be completely eviscerated by this woman.
11:37There's been an EastEnders long rivalry of these two as well.
11:41It's only right that we get a comeuppance.
11:43I wanted it to be Ian.
11:46I'll still get shot.
11:47I wanted it to be Ian.
11:48Again?
11:49I think Cindy would find it quite hot if it was him.
11:54How are you, Dilly?
11:55I honestly thought it would be either Ian or Peter.
11:58I even thought Junior at one point, because I thought he was so humiliated in the pub that,
12:03you know, let me think that it would possibly be...
12:05Scorned lover.
12:05Yeah.
12:07So I'm a bit gobsmacked, yeah.
12:09Adam, how do you feel about being shot?
12:11Again.
12:12Again.
12:13Bye, Cindy.
12:14Fortunately, I seem to be quite bullet resistant in this programme, so it's a result.
12:20Is Ian going to forgive Cindy even after all this?
12:23Yes.
12:24That's crazy.
12:25That's just crazy.
12:26It's love.
12:27It's love.
12:28Right.
12:28We've got lots of work to do.
12:29Ready to get going?
12:30Yeah.
12:30Yeah.
12:30Let's do this.
12:32Wow.
12:40There you go.
12:41There's an awful lot to unpack there.
12:44And do you know what?
12:45The crew of EastEnders, yous lot were kept in the dark.
12:47Did you have any idea?
12:50No.
12:51Right.
12:52So, Cathy, you finally got a chance to whack Cindy.
12:55Yeah.
12:55How did that feel?
12:56Lovely.
12:57Lovely, yeah.
12:58Long overdue, wasn't it?
12:59Oh, I should have done it years ago, yeah.
13:01Shame you didn't do it properly, eh?
13:03I know.
13:03Excuse me.
13:05I'm impartial to you.
13:06I must have used me left hand.
13:10I'm right hands.
13:11I must have used me left hand.
13:12Now, Michelle, Cindy, she's got to be one of the most hated characters on the square.
13:16Oh.
13:16No, no, it's a good thing.
13:17Is it?
13:17How do you play a villain so well?
13:20I don't know.
13:21You tell me.
13:22You do play pretty good, don't you?
13:24Do I?
13:24Yes.
13:25It's fun.
13:26It's much more fun to play a villain.
13:27Who wants to be a goodie when you can be a badie?
13:29Exactly.
13:29She's misunderstood.
13:30Exactly.
13:31She keeps shooting you.
13:32Oh, you stick out for her all the time.
13:34How many times have you been shot at her?
13:36How many times have you been shot at her?
13:37Who pulled your chain?
13:39She's very complicated, Jo.
13:40Yes.
13:41It's complex.
13:42I can understand that.
13:44Adam, back to the shooting.
13:45This has got to be what?
13:46How many times have you been shot at her?
13:47Two, three times?
13:48No, two for me.
13:49I think that's number 17 or something like that in the show.
13:54Wow.
13:54Yeah.
13:55He's a fountain of EastEnders knowledge, isn't he?
13:57Oh, yeah.
13:57Oh, he knows everything.
13:58He knows, yeah.
13:58I might tap into it a little bit later on if that's all right.
14:00All right, you can try.
14:02He's got to get out more.
14:02Now, Harriet and Colin, you've just got into the Vic.
14:06Look at the state of it.
14:07It's been blown up.
14:08There's nothing left of it.
14:09I mean, is it going to be a little refurbishment coming?
14:11I've wanted to redecorate this place from the get-go.
14:14Oh, yeah?
14:14I couldn't be happier.
14:15Yeah, what have we got in store?
14:16What have we got in store?
14:17I can't wait.
14:17I'd like the jazz club.
14:18I'd like this.
14:19I'd like it to turn into Ronnie Spots.
14:20I want it on trend.
14:22I want rose gold.
14:23Yeah, yeah.
14:24It looks lovely.
14:25It's going to be completely different to the Vic we see now, is it?
14:27No.
14:27No.
14:29It'll be exactly the same.
14:30Yeah.
14:31Now, Chris, you're sat over there.
14:33I want to know for you, when you come up with these storylines,
14:36you've got to keep them secret and you know everyone's coming into the meeting,
14:38how do you feel?
14:39Do you get nervous?
14:42Maybe a little, but no, it was more of a relief, I think,
14:45because up until that moment, there was only a very few of us that knew what happens.
14:50A few of the producers and the writers.
14:52So it's actually really nice to kind of break that news to them and see their reactions.
14:55And obviously you could tell from their reactions that it was more than what I'd kind of imagined.
15:00So it was brilliant.
15:01Well done, you.
15:02Keeping a good secret.
15:04Yeah.
15:04What about for you's lot?
15:05So when you go into that room and you find out what's happening,
15:08are you excited?
15:09Are you nervous?
15:11Both.
15:11Both.
15:11Also, I think we kind of want, it'd been so long.
15:15We were waiting for so long.
15:17And people keep asking us.
15:18People kept asking us.
15:19And we've done so much Sherlocking.
15:21Everyone had an idea.
15:23When he went like, oh, you're going to get shot.
15:25Are you like, oh, well, that's me done.
15:26I'm out of here for another five years.
15:28I'll go and do another musical.
15:30I'll be fine with that.
15:31I think what was really exciting about it was that we thought we were just coming in
15:35to find out who attempted to kill Cindy.
15:37And what happened was we saw like, and this is a tribute to the writers and the work that
15:42goes in, it just went three, four, five depths deeper.
15:45Yeah.
15:45Because it ended up to this, which is a full on for three months of intense work.
15:51Yeah.
15:52This has been amazing to be involved in really.
15:54And Jack, she was doing everything.
15:58Oh yeah.
15:58So Jack, I heard that there was a little sweepstake.
16:00Yeah.
16:01It was at the top of the pole.
16:02Mm-hmm.
16:03Well, it wasn't so much that.
16:04We all had an envelope.
16:05I went and got an envelope and then I got the cast cards, you know, the cast cards.
16:08Oh yeah, yeah.
16:08And I got all of the cast cards of the characters and I said to everybody that they had to
16:13put
16:13who they thought was the said nearly murderer into the envelope and guess before we all
16:20found out.
16:20And who was the top of the pole?
16:22It was Caffey.
16:23Caffey?
16:24It's the eyes.
16:25It's the eyes.
16:26Yes.
16:26Something in the eyes, mate.
16:27Don't get angry with me, mate.
16:30Now for you as lot as actors, is it hard to play that?
16:33Because obviously you're playing it one way and then you find that story changes.
16:36How do you deal with that as actors?
16:38It was tricky because you're having to play, you could be guilty, you could be innocent.
16:42So you haven't played both, which is awkward because you're not.
16:45It's also a joy to play both.
16:48Yeah.
16:48It's fun.
16:49It's an amazing storyline.
16:50I think EastEnders this year has been the best soap in England.
16:55Yeah.
16:55Continuing drama.
16:56Yeah, yeah.
16:56Of course.
16:57Now Jill, the last time we had a live episode, you come back from the dead.
17:01You got anything up your sleeve for this one?
17:03Right, what do I say?
17:05No, not really.
17:06But what I loved in this episode, and I've got to just say it, it means nothing to anybody,
17:10but the first time I came back, ten years ago, Sharon caught me and she went, and I was
17:15hiding in the garage, in Phil's also.
17:17And she comes in and goes, oh, very basic, cheese and pickle sandwich.
17:21Cheese and pickle.
17:24Basic.
17:25And the funniest thing that I did just recently with Harvey, it said, and I think, I don't
17:31know if it was a take on that or not, but I just go, let me make you a sandwich.
17:35Cheese and pickle.
17:36Cheese and pickle.
17:37And I just thought, oh, I remember saying that ten years ago.
17:39And I don't know if it was a thing or not.
17:41But, yeah.
17:43That was it.
17:43But, yeah.
17:43Cheese and pickle.
17:44Cheese and pickle.
17:45We'll have a lovely panyang.
17:45That sounds lovely, though.
17:46Then we'll have a bit of panyang.
17:47How many fake deaths have been in the square?
17:50Why would I know that?
17:51Because you're a fountain of EastEnders knowledge.
17:53Well, look, Mum's giving me a clue.
17:54She's saying it's six, but I only know the three of them, which was Cindy, Cathy and Ben.
18:00Mum was holding up six fingers.
18:02Right, yeah.
18:02We're going to go for six.
18:03We're going to go for six, yes?
18:04We're going to go for six.
18:05Oh, thank you, Adam Woodjet.
18:06Or, as I like to call him, Adam would know it.
18:09Yes.
18:10Adam would know it.
18:11Do you like that?
18:13I'm going to lose that.
18:15Hang on.
18:15Which one of you lot wrote his script?
18:18Right, so we've got a live episode coming up.
18:20Yep.
18:20Any advice?
18:21You've done a couple.
18:22We've got a few newbies here.
18:24Have you got any advice for them?
18:25Yeah, don't mess it up.
18:27But I think, secretly, the people at home, they do want to see a mistake.
18:31Didn't you make a mistake, Jack?
18:32I was waiting for this.
18:33You made a mistake?
18:35It's just been building up and building up and building up.
18:39So, I take it Jack's got no lines in this one?
18:43I was asked by the governor to do it.
18:46Because I told you people love it, didn't they?
18:47I ain't told no one this from the beginning, but I was specifically asked to throw a curveball in there
18:53to show it was live.
18:56Because everybody knows I would never, ever, ever do something stupid like that.
19:05Back to you.
19:06Guys, are you nervous?
19:07Do you get nervous?
19:08Do you still get nervous?
19:09Nervous of what?
19:12Right.
19:17Listen, guys, thank you for talking to me.
19:20So, there's a lot happening with the Bills.
19:22But throughout this week, other Warford residents will have their fair share of drama as the fallout continues from tonight's
19:28episode.
19:28See you later, everybody.
19:30I'm going to head over to some of my favourite ladies.
19:32Tameka Epson, Jacqueline Jostler, Patty Palmer and the one and only Natalie Cassidy.
19:38Sorry.
19:42Ladies, what do you think of the place?
19:43Do you think I've done well with it?
19:44Do you like it?
19:44I love it.
19:45It's not as good as the original though.
19:47I'm a little bit old school, a bit old fashioned because of all the...
19:50It's just such an iconic set.
19:52All the memories.
19:53It's just the memories.
19:54Do you remember John Barden?
19:55Shut up, everybody!
19:57We're rolling!
19:58God bless him.
19:59But if you think around the piano effort, if you go back to the mid-80s and then all the
20:03way up,
20:04so much has happened with the secrets, the births, the deaths and all of that.
20:08Yeah, no.
20:09I've actually got something to tell you.
20:10Stop it.
20:11What is it?
20:12I could get in trouble.
20:13Go on.
20:14But I am giving birth in here life.
20:18No way.
20:19No way, Nats.
20:21I am.
20:21So can we have a duff-duff for Nats?
20:23Duff! Duff! Duff! Duff!
20:25Duff! Duff! Duff! Duff! Duff!
20:27Adam, who's had the most Duff Duffs in EastEnders?
20:30Steve.
20:31Right, what about you?
20:32Probably second or third.
20:33Adam would know that, everyone!
20:36Yeah!
20:36Come on, that's going to catch on eventually, surely!
20:39Do you know how many I had?
20:41Um...
20:41None. I got none. That's right.
20:43No Duff Duffs for Joe.
20:45It's alright, I don't need your sympathy.
20:48It's fine, it's fine.
20:49Tameka, you could give Natalie a bit of advice
20:52because you give birth in the Vic.
20:54This is not your first role.
20:55I think it was... Where was it actually?
20:56It was in the toilets.
20:57In the toilets.
20:58And I helped Kim.
20:59Yeah.
21:00Sonya helped deliver the baby life.
21:02Now the roles have been reversed.
21:03I know.
21:04Maybe I could help you.
21:05Yeah?
21:05Do you know what I mean?
21:06I could just always be there for her.
21:08I think we should have a visual demonstration of that.
21:10Yeah?
21:11Do you want to jump in and show us how you do it?
21:13Now?
21:13Yeah, why not? It's a good time.
21:15No better time than the present.
21:17OK!
21:19OK!
21:19Go on, Tams!
21:20Come on, let's get down, you can show me.
21:22I will never get to do this again.
21:24Because I'm a man, I don't give birth, do I?
21:26No, you don't, no, you don't.
21:27So what do we do?
21:28You've made enough.
21:29Yes.
21:30I know where to make them.
21:32I'd like to push them out.
21:33So what you're going to have to do, first of all, as a man...
21:36No, you can be on your knees, yeah.
21:37But you're going to have to do what I say.
21:39Don't improvise.
21:40Don't improvise anything.
21:41You've done it before, I haven't.
21:41Yeah, yeah.
21:42So if we could just, like...
21:43I don't believe I'm doing this, but we're doing it.
21:46Are you coming down with me?
21:47Well, I'm going to have to.
21:48I'm sorry.
21:48So I'm going to be, like, here now.
21:50You're in front of me.
21:51Yeah, because you're going to help me, innit?
21:53You're going to help me.
21:53So I'm going to go...
21:55I'm going to do this.
21:56Ha!
21:57Ha!
21:57Ha!
21:58Ha!
21:59No, no, no, you don't do that.
22:01No, no, no.
22:02That's not helping.
22:03Sympathy.
22:03No, no, OK.
22:04So then we're going here.
22:05Yeah.
22:07You're holding me, you're holding me.
22:08OK, I've got you up.
22:08Yeah?
22:09Yeah.
22:10OK, OK, OK.
22:12See, that's the thing.
22:13The whole world can come apart.
22:15Yeah, yeah, of course.
22:15The whole world.
22:16So then when you're here now, you're going to feel my pain.
22:18Do you want me to get it out or not?
22:19No, no, no, no.
22:20You don't want me to get it out.
22:21And this is a PG version.
22:23PG version.
22:23So you have to hold my hand, yeah?
22:24So when I push...
22:25I haven't touched Stacey like this for ages.
22:27I know, but still...
22:28Tonight might be the night.
22:30And you go...
22:32Now I'm going to squeeze you.
22:33Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze.
22:34One, two, three.
22:35Ha!
22:36Ha!
22:36Yeah!
22:37What do you reckon, Chris?
22:38I mean, it's come down.
22:39Yeah.
22:40For birthday!
22:41Yeah!
22:42Yeah!
22:43Well, here it goes.
22:44All done.
22:45It's a baby.
22:46It's a baby boy.
22:47It's a baby boy.
22:48Lovely.
22:49Big round of applause, everyone.
22:51Yeah, yeah, yeah.
22:52It's hard work.
22:52I love you.
22:53Well done.
22:55And that's basically it.
22:56Is that it?
22:57Yeah, that's basically it.
22:57I was always told it was a lot more harder, didn't it?
23:00Easy.
23:01Let's see how I get on on Thursday.
23:03Well, you're going to do fine.
23:04I'm sure you will.
23:05Oh, Adam.
23:06What?
23:06How many births have we had in Extenders?
23:09How many what?
23:10How many births have we had in Extenders?
23:12Oh, God.
23:12How many kids have I had?
23:13I've had at least...
23:15I don't know.
23:16Hundreds.
23:16Three hundred.
23:17Sixty-one.
23:18Sixty-one.
23:19You let yourself down there.
23:22Adam didn't know that.
23:23What a shame.
23:24What a shame.
23:25Right, let's get back to it.
23:27Nats, you've had your ups and downs.
23:29It's been a bit of a roller coaster.
23:30Same as you, Patsy.
23:31So, before we get into the storyline, let's have a little quick reminder, eh?
23:34When I met Debbie, I thought I'd won the lottery.
23:37When she got sick, I thought that was it.
23:39You don't win the lottery twice in one lifetime, do you?
23:41But I did.
23:43We're so lucky that we've found each other.
23:45But what if trying for a baby changes everything?
23:47Can I help you, mate?
23:49Rhys?
23:50Bianca?
23:51Bianca Rhys?
23:52You're Rhys?
23:54It could take up to six cycles to give yourselves the best odds.
23:58And each cycle costs upwards of five thousand pounds.
24:02That's money we don't have.
24:03I promise.
24:04I'll find the money.
24:05I'm so grateful for the help you've already given me and Sonia.
24:08You can have a baby.
24:11But I need to take the rest of the money now, Dems.
24:13Oh, my God.
24:15This must have been paying for Sonia's IVF.
24:18You're stealing a woman in a coma.
24:20It's not stealing.
24:22You're married.
24:23You passed away.
24:24I could stop again.
24:29Somebody must have seen this come in.
24:32You visited her.
24:33You must have seen she was getting worse.
24:35Sonia Fowler.
24:36I'm arresting you on suspicion of the murder of Deborah Colwell.
24:40I'm really scared.
24:40I'm going to do everything I can to get you out, I promise.
24:45Got you.
24:46Tell me the truth!
24:47I did care, Debbie.
24:49Well, please forgive my past sins.
24:52And those I might get committed.
24:55Go to the court and you've just got to confess right now.
24:58I can't do that.
24:59You're a coward!
25:00All right.
25:01You think I don't know that?
25:03I can't take this anymore, Rhys.
25:05Oh, my God.
25:06Right, I've got an idea.
25:08I'll say it was me.
25:10All I want is to get my sister out of prison.
25:13Record me confessing to killing Debbie.
25:17Get your phone out and press record.
25:19Lifted her head from the pillow.
25:21Rounded her down.
25:22Over her face.
25:24Until she was dead.
25:26You've got to stop!
25:28You can't!
25:28Sonny, don't say anything!
25:29I have evidence.
25:30Sonny didn't kill Debbie.
25:33Her sister Bianca did.
25:35Have you got the email?
25:36With the video on?
25:37I'd like to see that.
25:38What's the matter?
25:39You're out now.
25:40She made that confession to save me.
25:42I know she did.
25:43It's the kindest thing she's ever done.
25:46You're going to have a little girl.
25:48Yeah, we found out today.
25:54It wasn't Bianca, was it?
25:55It was you.
25:56You killed Debbie, didn't you?
25:58I didn't want any of this!
26:04What's happened with Bianca?
26:05You're very skilled, don't you?
26:07Stay here, take care of you.
26:08He's been gone too long.
26:09Jack's not going to let him out of his sight.
26:11No, but Jack hasn't even found him.
26:15It's over.
26:16The back door's been left open.
26:20He was there!
26:25That's it!
26:26That looks amazing, that.
26:28Tell me about Reece.
26:29He's a bit of a bad boy.
26:30I think he's an amazing actor, by the way.
26:31Johnny, he's brilliant.
26:32They've had a really, really, really good time.
26:33Is it nice working with him?
26:34Yeah, because it all started off very comedic.
26:36I thought it was going to kind of...
26:38Yeah, we didn't know where it was going,
26:39but obviously he always had a wife in a coma.
26:41It was sort of, you know, always sort of hanging around.
26:43And then obviously it all came out
26:45and it's just been brilliant to play.
26:46It's been brilliant.
26:46And obviously I've had Pats back.
26:48Yeah!
26:48Pats, you're back!
26:49Pats, he's back everybody!
26:51Yay!
26:52Now Pats, you're working quite closely with Natalie
26:54in this tragic love storyline.
26:57Has it been nice to work with Nats again?
26:58Yeah, beautiful.
26:59I mean, I've known Natalie since she was ten years old.
27:02We're sisters.
27:02We're real sisters.
27:03We're real sisters.
27:04I haven't got sisters.
27:05She's always been my sister, yeah.
27:07So no, it's been beautiful.
27:08Now Pats, you've been locked in the garage
27:09for the last couple of months.
27:10I have, yeah.
27:11You look really well for it.
27:13Well, there's things you don't know about Rhys.
27:14He's a brilliant hairdresser.
27:16Yeah.
27:18And he's a manicurist.
27:19Yeah.
27:20He's done you the world of good.
27:21He really has.
27:22He's really done me the world of good.
27:24If you want to check in anyone, it's not that expensive.
27:28Yeah, I'll have to tell Stacey about it.
27:30Now Pats, now you're back.
27:31Are you going to tell us a little bit about
27:32what you're doing on the live episode?
27:35So I, well, as you can see, I chased Rhys around the square
27:39and he crashed into the Vic after a little bit of a fight.
27:43And then Sonja's obviously in there, ready to give birth.
27:47Yeah.
27:48And Lauren is in there as well with Sonja.
27:50So I go in with someone who helps me to get in.
27:55Yeah.
27:55And then Lauren and Bianca deliver the baby.
27:59So you're going to literally roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.
28:03Yeah, get right in there.
28:04We've all had enough practice here, haven't we?
28:06I've had some practice.
28:07I could help you.
28:08Yeah.
28:09Lauren, you've got a habit of ruining people's lives
28:11with these secret recordings.
28:13It's not something you do in real life, is it?
28:15Listen, I, this time round, I didn't do the recording.
28:18It fell upon my lap.
28:20What are you meant to do with it?
28:21Well, am I meant to?
28:22I'm just telling the truth.
28:23Exactly.
28:23To be honest, I think I had quite bad rap in that.
28:25I think you did too.
28:26I think your mobile compass is where it needs to be.
28:29Exactly.
28:29Also, I hear you've got your ear on the ground
28:31and you sort of know what's going on here.
28:33Always.
28:33What is the feeling with the old live episode?
28:35How's everyone feeling?
28:36Erm, I think everyone is really excited.
28:40I think, obviously, some people are really nervous.
28:43Me included.
28:46But everyone wants to do another.
28:48Yeah, it'll be amazing.
28:49It'll be so good.
28:50Yeah, it's going to be great.
28:50I'm just so glad I ain't going to do it.
28:53Good luck.
28:53Thank you, Jo.
28:54Nats.
28:54Remember, breathe it away.
29:00So the drama, there's just so much drama.
29:02I mean, there's shootings, explosions, births.
29:04But I tell you what we really need.
29:06We need a good old love triangle.
29:07Di, I'm coming for you.
29:09I'll have that.
29:09Thanks, would you?
29:10I can't include you as well, Jo.
29:12Alright, hold up a minute.
29:13Scott needs a little drink.
29:14Can we have a top up for Scott, please?
29:16Come on.
29:16Come on.
29:17What are we doing here?
29:18Oh, I don't know.
29:19How is everyone?
29:20I'm good.
29:21I'm good.
29:21Nice to see you, aren't you?
29:22Yeah.
29:22I'll let him go.
29:25Thank you, mate.
29:26Cheers.
29:27Thanks for that.
29:27Got a lovely little head on that in you, mate.
29:29Lovely little head on that in you, mate.
29:31Now, listen, before we get into the Missy business
29:32about your love life, I think what we should really do
29:35is have a little recap on what's happened so far.
29:38So, let's have a little look.
29:42Take a tip from me.
29:45Never get involved with a younger man.
29:48It's too easy being flattered by all the attention.
29:51At the end of the day, they're reckless.
29:55Jack treats me like we've been married for 20 years.
29:59Right, I've got to go.
30:00I thought we was having breakfast together.
30:02I'm the housekeeper.
30:03I'm the cook.
30:05I'm not the woman that he's in love with.
30:10Don't know about love, but I do know what it's like
30:12to want someone so bad that you can't stop thinking about them.
30:16You really think a lot of yourself, don't you?
30:19I think about you.
30:23Why are you all dressed up?
30:26Have you seen someone else at this hotel?
30:29Love a bloke?
30:34I kissed someone and it didn't mean anything, it just happened.
30:38Who?
30:39Heavy.
30:41You said I harassed Denise.
30:43That ain't true.
30:46You can't harass a woman into kissing someone like she kissed me.
30:49Jack!
30:49Jack!
30:50No!
30:51Jack!
30:52No!
30:54We're gonna get through this, okay?
30:57Yeah.
30:58I'll give up.
30:59Stay if you want.
31:01I've slept with someone.
31:08What are we doing?
31:14You're so beautiful.
31:16It makes my heart ache.
31:18I'm warning you.
31:19If you force my hand,
31:21I'll bring this whole thing crashing down.
31:25Denise.
31:26So what does it feel like, Robbie?
31:28As Denise draws her final breath.
31:35He knew how much I get about you.
31:38I've never hurt you.
31:40You are nothing.
31:43Nothing like him.
31:46When did my life become such a mess?
31:48Don't have to be complicated.
31:50Me and you.
31:51I'm pretty lucky to have you.
31:53You're a good man, Jack Brannock.
31:55There's only one fellow in my life.
31:58And with these around me,
32:02there is no space for anyone else.
32:05So she's the someone else then, yeah?
32:07I'm sorry, and I can explain.
32:10I'm in love with Denise.
32:12You can't be serious, Mum.
32:13Look, I want you to be happy, okay?
32:16Because you deserve to be happy.
32:17If it's with him.
32:27You're a good man.
32:31You're a good man.
32:34You're a good man.
32:34You're a good man.
32:35Hey!
32:38Right, so guys, I feel like you need to make a decision, you know?
32:42You can't have your cake and eat it, but this decision is going to be taken out of your hands
32:46because the public are going to vote on the outcome.
32:49How do you feel about that?
32:51Well, I think there's a vote missing.
32:53Yeah, what's that?
32:54Send it to a nunnery.
32:55I think that's...
32:57That's a good option.
32:58You've had such a lot of time on the screen.
33:00I agree.
33:02Chris, let us know just how is this going to work with a public vote?
33:06So tomorrow night, immediately after the episode, the vote will open.
33:10The vote will then close shortly before the live episode.
33:13Right.
33:14So you don't get long, and you only get one vote.
33:16So you've got to make it count.
33:17Okay.
33:18Right, so let's figure out how this is going to work logistically.
33:21That means you're going to be doing double lines.
33:23I am!
33:24Double rehearsal.
33:25I am!
33:25Are you getting double bubbles?
33:27Chris!
33:31Yo, good point, well made!
33:32Well, you know, someone's got to make a minute.
33:36It could come again.
33:36It is the live.
33:38Now, boys, how do you feel about this?
33:40This live episode?
33:41Are you nervous?
33:41I mean, you've already messed it up once.
33:43Unbelievable.
33:44How are you feeling about it?
33:45Yeah, all right.
33:46Good.
33:46You know what, as well, just because I've been on the show a couple of years and watched the
33:51lives when I was a kid.
33:52Yeah.
33:52To get a chance to do it.
33:54That's...
33:54Watched the lives when I was a kid?
33:56I love it, yeah.
33:57That slayed me.
33:58Sorry.
33:58I'm sorry.
33:59I'm sorry.
34:00This ain't just the first few, piss your hands off and die.
34:03This ain't just the first few, because this is the first for EastEnders.
34:06This is huge that the audience are going to choose on the outcome of this.
34:10How are we all feeling?
34:11Are you excited?
34:11Are you nervous?
34:12Well, excited and nervous.
34:14And I think it's a really good thing that you give the audience this gift of being able
34:18to choose what direction the show's going to go in and what direction these three characters
34:23are going to go in, because it could go crazy based on whatever they choose.
34:27And you're right.
34:29It's nice.
34:29You know, some of these people have been watching EastEnders, well, for 40 years,
34:32didn't they?
34:33Yeah.
34:33So, for them to have a little say, it's cute.
34:35It's nice.
34:35It's cute, innit?
34:36I think we should have a little look, see what our crew think.
34:38Who do you think die should end up with?
34:41Choose wisely.
34:42Go!
34:42Oh!
34:44Oh!
34:44It's mixed.
34:45It's a very mixed balance.
34:47Yeah.
34:47Oh!
34:48We're about equal.
34:50Actually, you know what?
34:51I think we have an actually 50-50 straight split.
34:5450-50.
34:54So it's down to you guys.
34:55Yeah.
34:55It's a good job.
34:56We don't have to make the decisions, innit?
34:57All right, innit?
34:58Very much so.
34:59Or maybe there might be a third outcome, you know?
35:01Denise might, you know, want to find herself a property millionaire.
35:05Maybe someone called Mickey Miller, who I can tell you has had his eye on you for quite
35:09a long time.
35:10You know what?
35:11I've mentioned it, Charlie.
35:12Oh, stop it.
35:13I have had a word.
35:14Chris, what do you reckon?
35:15There we have it!
35:16Yay!
35:17Me and you, it was written in the stars.
35:19What are you?
35:20What beautiful babies we're going to have.
35:22Denise Miller.
35:23Denise Miller.
35:24Denise Miller has got to read to it.
35:25It has, hasn't it?
35:26I like that.
35:26You might have another little exclusive for us.
35:29Is that right?
35:29Yes, because guys, you're going to have to hang on.
35:32Because after you've cast this vote, there will be another vote.
35:36You're joking.
35:37To decide the outcome for another story.
35:40Oh, stop it.
35:41Yeah.
35:41It's getting very interactive EastEnders, isn't it?
35:44What is going on here?
35:45We've got a text.
35:46You're so complex.
35:47Can you tell us any more information from us?
35:50No, I don't know any more information.
35:52We might have to hand over to the official.
35:54Someone told me.
35:54I don't know.
35:55That's all I know.
35:56Right, so you's lot.
35:57The votes are going to start at the end of tomorrow's hour-long episode and they're
36:00going to close just before the live episode starts.
36:03So you, the audience, hold the key to what happens Thursday night.
36:07And what's going to happen going forward into EastEnders' 41st year.
36:11Can you believe it?
36:12Can you believe it?
36:14Boys, what's your year looking like?
36:16So if one of you's y'all get picked for being Dia's next victim, what's the year look like for
36:20you?
36:20I hope he's there.
36:21Sorry.
36:22Not Brian Mantis.
36:23That ain't right.
36:24If it is you next year, is there a wedding on the cards?
36:27Possibly.
36:28Possibly.
36:28Yeah.
36:29If there was a wedding, Adam, how many would that have been in EastEnders so far?
36:33112.
36:34Ah, yeah.
36:35And what about Billy and Honey's wedding?
36:37113.
36:38So you could be 114, though?
36:40That's got a ring to it.
36:41Me and you, mate.
36:41I'm telling you.
36:42Oh, you're making me miss the eye, Joe.
36:44Adam would know that.
36:45Yay!
36:47Now, if you's not can't wait for all of the fallout from tonight's explosive episode,
36:51we have a little treat.
36:52Who would like to see an exclusive clip from tomorrow night's EastEnders?
36:56Oh, yeah.
36:57Yeah?
36:57Come on, then.
36:58Come on, then.
36:59I don't know where Mum is.
37:01Where's Linda?
37:01Hey, I'm sure they'll be OK.
37:04I don't think Cindy will.
37:05She's just gone in there.
37:07So did my Mum.
37:11That's him, right?
37:13Well, listen.
37:13We're getting someone to help, OK?
37:15There's been an explosion.
37:16It's the Queen Victoria pub at Hubbard Square.
37:18Look, we need everyone, all right?
37:20Fire at Ambulance Police.
37:25Everyone's back!

37:41Just call me when you get the message.
37:44You OK?
37:47Yeah.
37:49Uh...
37:49Shrapnel from the explosion.
37:54Dad, how did it even happen?
37:57Someone's got a lot to answer for.
38:04Oh, that's all we've got time for, folks.
38:06But like every true EastEnders locking,
38:08we can't finish without good old Knees Up.
38:10So I've been on the blower.
