00:10Summers are brutal with the heat.
00:13It'll melt your shoes, your skin, it'll tear you up for sure.
00:18If it's too hot outside, the bad guys don't want to go out and commit crimes.
00:22When the nighttime comes, the freaks come out.
00:26Put your pants off!
00:28When that sun's gone, people think they can hide the bad stuff in the dark.
00:31This is the I don't believe in Facebook.
00:34One team, one family, we always pull together.
00:39You guys brought your back!
00:41What the f*** am I in handcuffs for?
00:45It's very dangerous.
00:46Backup isn't always closed.
00:50I don't have an emergency.
00:52You're gonna kill me.
00:54Assaults, robberies, shootings.
00:57It's lawless out here.
00:58It's gonna get hot tonight.
00:59A little bit of spice is always good.
01:01Stop having sex.
01:02Put your jeans on.
01:04See you in the wild, wild west, Tucson.
01:07It's the witching hour.
01:08Don't tap out on us yet, okay?
01:30It's the start of my shift.
01:31I have no idea what's ahead of me for tonight, but it's never a dull day, never a predictable day
01:38here in the desert.
01:47Saturday night is the start of everyone's weekend.
01:51Everyone puts in a long, hard week at whatever job they do, have to endure all of the heat and
01:57the exhaustion that just beat them down during the week.
02:00And with that, people want to be able to relax with friends, hang out, go out for a drink.
02:07And it's around midnight is when they make the decision to get behind the wheel.
02:16We have seen the absolute horror that these types of decisions can leave on families.
02:21And we've seen families being torn apart by somebody just making a very, very poor decision.
02:30It's our job at the DUI unit to be proactive and try to make sure everyone just gets home safe.
02:44I try to have as high a vigilance level as possible.
02:47I'm always constantly scanning, looking at the mirror.
02:50I know a lot of people think I'm paranoid.
02:52I am, because you've got to be paranoid in this job.
02:56That was one going 87.
02:59I can't imagine it's gotten too far, especially with all the buildup that we have coming up ahead of us.
03:06And I think that might be it right here.
03:10So my biggest strategy is to try to get a license plate first.
03:13That way, if it does take off, we at least have information we can go on.
03:21And he's just speeding around cars.
03:23All right, that's all I needed to say.
03:26It's 6-7 traffic.
03:27Go to 20 in a second.
03:31It looks like he's trying to get around cars, running red lights.
03:34Do we have survey of the crop yet?
03:36I have a copy.
03:37It's near Irving and Kaya, Santa Cruz.
03:40It's going to be a black 2021 Ford Mustang.
03:44I've already lost visual.
03:47So it took off from us, kind of what I predicted.
03:51So it sounds like Ool had a vehicle take off from him.
03:56There's no one in active pursuit of him.
03:58There's just multiple deputies that are in the area now.
04:01And they're essentially just trying to lock him down.
04:05We're still waiting for our airplane to pick it up.
04:08It was the last scene heading westbound from the area where we tried to acquire it.
04:24This could be a carjacking.
04:25It could be a stolen vehicle incident.
04:27They could be under the influence.
04:29They could hide drugs.
04:30They could hide guns.
04:31Usually people that run from us have something that they want to hide.
04:36All right, so they're not trying to affect a traffic stop yet.
04:40They're keeping the plane on him.
04:43They were able to read his license plate during the initial pursuit.
04:46So they have a couple of units that are going to his house now.
05:02He's going the wrong direction,
05:03which is extraordinarily dangerous.
05:06Drop us, I'm ready to turn up.
05:08Thank you, sir.
05:11Thank you, sir.
05:12North answers on the streets.
05:13All right, so he's pulling into an address.
05:19They're right down here.
05:30Hang on now.
05:40Let me see your hands, first of all.
05:55Turn around.
05:57Turn around.
05:58Take your hands up.
06:01Take your hands up.
06:05Look away from me.
06:06Are you going to get a dog, bitch?
06:08Make a cross for us.
06:09With your right hand, grab your T-shirt.
06:12Lift it above your waistband.
06:14Get down on your hands and knees.
06:17All backwards towards us.
06:22Crawl.
06:23Crawl.
06:24Crawl.
06:24Backward.
06:25Crawl.
06:25Get up.
06:26Crawl.
06:27Get up and crawl.
06:28No, no, no.
06:30Get up.
06:30Dumb it.
06:31Dumb it.
06:35Don't look at me.
06:46So, I'm definitely cool, okay?
06:47I'm with the sheriff's department.
06:48Yes, sir.
06:48Why'd you run from me?
06:50I just, I didn't want to get in trouble, man.
06:53I didn't think I did anything wrong.
06:55And so, I mean, I just didn't want to get in trouble, man.
06:57But I made a mistake.
06:58I'll learn from it.
06:59Do you think you're in trouble now?
07:00Oh, yeah, for sure.
07:01Okay.
07:02You know, the only reason I was going to stop you is because you're just going 87 and a 55.
07:06Yeah.
07:07I'm sorry.
07:07And we would have had a simple conversation about that.
07:08I'm sorry.
07:09I didn't know.
07:11Really?
07:11Okay.
07:11I was following you the whole time on Irvington.
07:14You had multiple chances to stop.
07:15You cannot claim ignorance in this thing.
07:17I know.
07:17I made a mistake.
07:18I'll learn from it.
07:19I'm not.
07:19You put so many people in danger today with your driving.
07:23Sorry about that.
07:25I'm a good kid.
07:26I just...
07:27Not anymore, man.
07:28I know.
07:29All right.
07:29I'm going to just put him in your car for now.
07:33Hey, man.
07:33Is there anything in particular we need to be looking for right now?
07:36Can you get a backpack?
07:37And there's a...
07:37Is there a gun in the bag?
07:38No, nothing.
07:39I don't have a gun.
07:40But when we search the bag right now, are we going to find anything we don't like?
07:43All right.
07:49There's a couple bags.
07:50Here, let me just document.
07:53We'll just take it right here.
07:57Oh, yes.
07:59Oh, wow.
08:03It's an abnormal amount of cash for sure.
08:06Definitely more than I make in a month.
08:09I personally wouldn't be carrying that much money around.
08:13Hey, bro, I'm going to count your cash for you, okay?
08:15This is the first band that had a 5,000 ring on it.
08:18It's definitely weird.
08:20Seven.
08:21Eight.
08:23Nine.
08:24But it's not illegal to carry that kind of cash on you.
08:27So I got $4,200 in that first band of 50s?
08:30Does that sound about right?
08:31Yes.
08:31Okay.
08:32One, two, three, four, five.
08:34I got $300.
08:37$4,200 plus $16,000.
08:39So $5,800 that somebody's carrying around just in an envelope.
08:46What are you carrying around $5,000 for?
08:48I just sold one of my cars, and I just had the cash with me, and I keep it on
08:52me because
08:53I can't trust anyone.
08:54Okay.
08:57Hi.
08:57That's my son's car?
08:59Yes.
09:00Yeah, your son made a very done decision tonight.
09:02He ran from cops and put a lot of people in danger today.
09:05We are towing his car, and he's being booked into jail for a felony.
09:09Where is he?
09:10He's on his way to be booked to the Pima County Jail now.
09:14He put everybody in danger by speeding.
09:18Well, that's just speeding, running red lights, overtaking cars.
09:23And he was speeding pretty.
09:2587 and a 55.
09:29What could have been a simple ticket.
09:31And I'm sorry that happened.
09:32We didn't raise them to be that way, so.
09:34Good night.
09:34You have a good night.
09:35Thank you so much.
09:36So that was our violator's mother.
09:39She just wanted to get good ideas as to what happened.
09:43You can find so many examples of parents, you know, blaming law enforcement.
09:47But that didn't seem like the case here.
09:50That was our first traffic stop for the night, and that was already an eventful one.
09:55So we can kind of just see what the rest of the night has in store for us.
10:15It's almost like watching the sunset is like the calm before the storm.
10:20Bad people come out at night.
10:22They want to be outside when the sun's down, rather than be out when the sun's up and it's
10:27105 outside.
10:30Doing this job, it's like you go from being half asleep to just like wide awake and your
10:34heart rate's up to like, you know, 130 in like two seconds.
10:37It's like something can happen at any minute.
10:40A slow night could turn fast very quickly.
10:58That car just took kind of a wide turn.
11:01And they're speeding.
11:07So there's some traffic.
11:25It could be nothing or it could be something.
11:27We never know.
11:35How's it going, sir?
11:36I'm Deputy Lane with the Sheriff's Department.
11:37Can you turn the car off for me?
11:38Yes, it's off.
11:40Now, I will explain the situation to you.
11:42You don't have to.
11:43I was there.
11:44Oh.
11:44I watched.
11:44I observed it.
11:45Oh, no.
11:46I'm going to explain it to you.
11:47Okay.
11:47Listen.
11:48Go ahead and name your license.
11:49Give me a moment.
11:50I'm getting the license for you.
11:52Okay.
11:52Do you understand?
11:54Why are you so hostile?
11:55Because you sped up and you tailgated me, sir, and forced me to go.
12:01I was in your car forcing you to go 100 miles an hour?
12:04You did, and it will come up in court, sir.
12:09There's nothing in there, sir.
12:10I do not consent to search.
12:12There's no search.
12:13I'm just looking in the vehicle.
12:14I do not consent to search.
12:15Once again, no.
12:25Do you have a registration and insurance?
12:27I do.
12:27Let me get that for you.
12:28You do?
12:29There's the registration.
12:33All right.
12:34Give me just a second there.
12:37So he's trying to say that he went 100 miles an hour because you were behind him?
12:40Yeah, because I was tailgating him.
12:42I couldn't even catch up to him.
12:45Hold on.
12:46Cool.
12:51All righty.
12:52Go ahead and jump out of the car for me.
12:56Here you are, sir.
13:00So this is that you're from a law firm?
13:03Is that what this card is that you're trying to show me?
13:06Did you?
13:07Are you able to read, sir?
13:09Well, you held it up.
13:10Are you able to read?
13:11I am.
13:12Okay.
13:12What did it say?
13:13I don't know.
13:14You don't know?
13:15No.
13:16But you stated you're able to read.
13:17So read it.
13:19Asking a cop if we're able to read, I mean, that's kind of rude.
13:21You're the office manager for a law firm?
13:23Does that make you above the law because you work for a law firm?
13:26Give me your badge numbers.
13:27Oh, well, it'll absolutely be on the citation.
13:29You will both have a complaint to IA, both of you.
13:34Okay.
13:35Yes, sir.
13:35So write your ticket.
13:38Perfect.
13:39Come out of seat on this caribou here.
13:48Yes, look at it.
13:51That's what you can't afford.
13:53That was a little rude.
13:54That's crazy.
13:57That's true.
13:58You've got D's in high school and you're a sheriff.
14:02That's a little disrespectful.
14:04Oh, it's true.
14:05Okay.
14:06Okay.
14:09I only got one D.
14:12I actually got a D.
14:17But no, I did very well in college.
14:20That's very good.
14:24So this is going to be a criminal traffic citation.
14:27That's my name, my badge number.
14:29Go ahead and sign that part right there.
14:31Okay.
14:39There you are.
14:39You are free to go.
14:40My recommendation is slow down, so you don't hurt anybody.
14:44Thank you for your recommendation, officer.
14:46My recommendation to you is we'll see what the judge thinks.
14:49Okay.
14:49Sounds good.
14:51Have a good night, sir.
14:52Take care.
14:54Take care.
14:56God, I love it.
14:57Hey, let me get your badge number.
15:05Oh, my Lord.
15:09Yeah, stuff like that happens a lot.
15:11He's probably going to submit a complaint, but yeah, it's all in a night's work.
15:34I feel like this summer has been the worst.
15:37The heat is so bad, you know?
15:43This time of day, we'll get a lot of, like, civil matter kind of calls where people have
15:51problems with their neighbors.
15:53But we have the extra stuff, you know, horses are loose in the street.
16:01Yesterday, my highlight was chasing a dog in the road.
16:09I would say in the evening, it's more dangerous, obviously, I feel like, out here.
16:16People think that's, like, the wild, wild west.
16:19So it's just more lawless out here.
16:23It's crazier.
16:36544-76-Code-81.
16:50544-I'm 23.
17:04Oh, there he is.
17:08Temper, you can start heading over here.
17:11I'm going to make contact with him in a second.
17:15I am going to raise my hands and dramatically and loudly first declare, I am not a disease
17:21and I am not a crime.
17:22That's okay.
17:24I have a machete.
17:25Okay.
17:26Uncriminal.
17:27I don't see a machete anywhere.
17:31So, we don't want to bother with you.
17:35Listen.
17:35It's your turn to speak now and I'm going to be quiet.
17:38Okay, thank you.
17:39I appreciate that.
17:39It's your turn.
17:40Hey, so, all we need you to do is you can't hang out on this property, okay?
17:47That was so f***ing easy.
17:49Right?
17:50That was crazy.
17:51F***.
17:54I have a machete.
17:55Okay.
17:55Would you like me to relieve myself of the machete?
17:57No, I would like you to not touch the machete.
18:00Okay.
18:00That's what I'd like.
18:01I'm going to say, you're sweet.
18:04I appreciate you and I'm going to cry a little as I want.
18:07Okay.
18:07Well, that's okay.
18:08I have a little bit of my rights.
18:10Neatak.
18:14Okay.
18:14Well, we're done here.
18:26As a deputy, I've been eight and a half years.
18:31I was in the U.S. Army for eight years and I was a military police officer and I figured
18:37I was decent at it, so I would keep going.
18:41I was like, I'll stay a cop.
18:43I have a lot to offer.
18:45Experience twice.
19:04Can we confirm the 21 for the present?
19:08Got a call coming in right now.
19:12This guy keeps calling in, but he's kind of out in the boonies or in the middle of the
19:16desert, but he knows this guy who's broke a window in one of the trailers.
19:22This may just be some type of civil dispute.
19:26It's all the way up to three points.
19:30There's a lot of abandoned properties out there in three points.
19:34It's kind of like an unspoken rule that nobody goes to three points alone.
19:40It's all desert out here.
19:41It's all pretty much flat land.
19:45There's another unit that's pretty close to the house, so we're just going to speed it
19:51up a little bit and try to get there as safely and quickly as possible.
20:09Hello.
20:09Hello.
20:10Finally.
20:10I'll talk to you.
20:11Okay, good deal.
20:12Come over here.
20:13Come over here.
20:13I'm going to let him talk to him, okay?
20:15Cool.
20:19What's going on, man?
20:20This guy just pulled up over here, man.
20:22There's a tire marks right here, and fuck through every window out and every fire, man.
20:27Okay.
20:28I didn't do anything to it.
20:29What happened today?
20:30So I'm creeping through my yard.
20:32Okay.
20:33So he was on your property?
20:35Yes, and I followed him back here, and that's when he was walking around out here.
20:38He just came up over here right now, and started affecting me.
20:43Oh, oh, what's this guy, man?
20:47He's crazy.
21:00Figure out kind of what's going on here.
21:05What's the deal?
21:06Were you over here tonight, or?
21:07I have to get to, I'm all innocent.
21:09Okay.
21:13So he's staying in here, the other guy out there, that was just past the trees over here.
21:20Okay.
21:20He stayed sleeping inside of the RV right here.
21:24When he heard him, it started breaking all the windows around the house.
21:27Okay.
21:28Cool.
21:29Are we good to come in?
21:39So he threw the rock through the window, hit you in the head.
21:43And then he smashed, yeah, he smashed out that one, too.
21:47I'm sure of it.
21:47I mean.
21:48This one?
21:49I'm pretty sure.
21:50There's glass all over the place.
21:52I mean, he's crazy, man.
21:54No, I get you, bro.
21:55Um, so.
21:57Stop walking this way, bro.
21:59Appreciate you.
22:03Okay.
22:03I don't want to go anywhere around there, guys.
22:07He apparently came over and threw a rock through the window.
22:10There's one, two, three broken windows on this side.
22:17There's, like, that weird ventilation window up here that's broken, and then that tiny window
22:21with the curtain.
22:23But there's, like, a trail that leads back in here.
22:27Footprints, like, there's one right here.
22:29It looks like that's where he kind of dug the rocks up.
22:33So he was definitely walking here.
22:41You don't have any shoes or anything like that?
22:44No, why?
22:45Okay.
22:46All right.
22:47You want to go ahead and 26 then?
22:49Why?
22:50What are you doing, arresting me?
22:52Sir, listen, I ain't doing...
22:54Oh, my God.
22:55Oh, no way.
22:57Get out of here.
22:58Why can't you...
22:58Relax.
22:59Why are you arresting me?
23:01You ain't got no reason to arrest me.
23:03Relax.
23:06I come here to report a crime, and I'm going to jail.
23:09What kind of s*** is that?
23:13Do you own this property?
23:16Are you renting it?
23:18Sure.
23:19Do you have permission to stay here?
23:22No, but I've been trying to get a hold of the...
23:26Until you get permission from somebody, don't be going into random houses, even if they do
23:32look abandoned, I understand it's hot, and you've got to escape the elements, but that's
23:36not how to do it.
23:38All right.
23:40Go grab your stuff from inside, because you're not going to be able to stay here tonight.
23:54All right.
23:54All right.
23:54Don't come back to the property.
24:11All right.
24:11He just seems like, you know, down on his luck, kind of seems like he's just homeless and
24:19living with what means he can.
24:24You know, I've got my own personal story of just having family members dealing with homelessness
24:29and having that compassion for them.
24:33So I just try to treat everybody the same.
24:36You know, at the end of the day, we're law enforcement.
24:39We're all police officers, but we still have to have some type of compassion and empathy
24:43for people.
25:159-1-1, where's the address of the emergency?
25:18I got a call from a buddy.
25:19He's at the Circle K on Ajo and Kenny.
25:22He was mentioning something about him and his lady got in a fight and he punched a hole
25:26on the wall.
25:26He called me to the practice and I could hear the cops in the background.
25:32He was in his vehicle and I told him, like, we need to get out.
25:35He's listening to them.
25:36And he's just yelling rantically.
25:38And I'm telling him, I'm like, you're just listening.
25:39So they're going to kill me.
26:01We're en route right now and the suspect is still inside the vehicle.
26:04The information we have is that he's by himself.
26:07He's refusing verbal commands and he might have a weapon.
26:13We don't know this person's mindset.
26:15He can commit suicide or he can start shooting at us or the public, right?
26:24We want to get to all the people that are still inside the store as far away as we can.
26:28We want to get them out quickly and safely.
26:45He's just tucked in in there.
26:48He's in that car.
26:51He might be either drunk or on something.
26:53He had a verbal argument with his wife.
26:55But he's known to carry a gun.
26:59Go ahead and get out of the car, man, and we'll talk about it.
27:02Hey, you want to tell you?
27:14Hey, what can you do as far as securing the front door so if this guy exits his vehicle,
27:18he can't make it inside?
27:21You are under arrest.
27:22Exit your vehicle with your hands clear and empty.
27:261-4-5, we're challenging the vehicle now.
27:34We are not leaving.
27:36Exit the vehicle with your hands clear and empty.
27:45He's in the vehicle and obviously we can't see his hands.
27:47In situations like this, we don't know if it's suicide by a cop or if he's going to shoot at
27:51us.
27:53Okay, we got 7-1-3 inside.
27:55We've got them kind of barricaded in the back and we're working on clearing this out.
28:04Hey, you want to tell you?
28:07Tell him what's up?
28:12Step out of the car.
28:13You are under arrest.
28:16We are not going anywhere and neither are you.
28:20Can you roll down the window so we can talk at least?
28:30F*** me at the door.
28:35Hey, is that driver window open?
28:38I had a pepper ball ready.
28:46Guys, hey, get out of here.
28:48Leave.
28:54Get on the ground.
28:58Hands up.
28:59Keep them up.
29:03Get on the ground.
29:04Get on the ground.
29:05On the ground.
29:07On the ground.
29:09Get on the ground.
29:12Hands on.
29:14Go for it.
29:16Go for it.
29:20I'm compliant.
29:22I'm compliant.
29:24I'm compliant.
29:31I'm not a bad dude.
29:33Donald Trump, please help me, Donald Trump.
29:36I'm a patriot, man.
29:39Is that the vehicle replacing him, bro?
29:41Yeah, man.
29:42He sucks, man.
29:44You know what I mean?
29:47If he starts being combative or anything, just...
29:49Yeah, I'll give you a buzz.
29:50All right.
29:51Sounds good, man.
30:23I'll give you a buzzer.
30:23Shots for that corner.
30:24I heard several shots.
30:25You can hear the bulls hitting the house.
30:28There's a quad driving around somewhere in the desert.
30:39So, somebody calling in saying their house is being shot at.
30:45So, go there, find out if that homeowner has problems with anybody, why their house would be getting shot at.
30:53They can force our setting.
30:56Seeing cactus.
30:57We're out, way out in the rural area.
30:59We can't rely on GPS out here.
31:07These roads suck.
31:26What's going on?
31:29I opened the door.
31:31I'm sitting in the bar.
31:33But I heard something like ricochet in the trees after I heard the shots.
31:37It was, like, really close to me, so I...
31:39This tree right here?
31:39Yeah.
31:40So, I closed the door, and then I waited until I stopped hearing them so that I could go inside.
31:46Do you have any problems with anybody?
31:48No.
31:50Can I see your video?
31:58Yeah, you can hear that ring, the ricochet.
32:02Did I believe there somewhere where I was hearing it?
32:06And that's probably where the shooting is coming from.
32:08Yeah.
32:10All right, hang tight.
32:12It's an old mine where all the UTVs, they come over here, go off-roading, and they just shoot at
32:17it.
32:17All that property back there is literally the direction of this perfect trajectory of where they're shooting.
32:24Might need to do a code nine on here.
32:29Okay, um, we're going to have to come up with a plan where we can do periodic checks.
32:35But obviously, if it happens, immediately, 9-1-1, let the dispatcher know this is an ongoing problem.
32:41That'd be perfect.
32:42And I'll try to find these guys.
32:44Okay.
32:45So, stop scaring you guys at night.
32:47Thank you so much.
32:48Okay?
32:48I appreciate it.
32:49All right, well, have a better night.
33:06People have no sense of what a ricochet can do.
33:10People do get hit in their house from stray bullets all the time.
33:17If I knew my daughter just got out of the car and she's scared to walk to her house, shots
33:23being fired, that would drive me crazy.
33:29This will go to our community problems unit.
33:31The plan is, if this call comes back up again, I know exactly where to start putting myself, and then
33:37we can start arresting people on felonies.
33:51Baker 407 traffic.
33:57This guy, he's in a hurry.
34:00Unreadable 28 on a blue Tesla.
34:05It's kind of all over the road, slimming on his brakes.
34:09We're going to Craycroft South.
34:20Hello.
34:21Are you in a hurry?
34:22Yes.
34:23What's going on?
34:25I've been following him for, like, four miles, and he's going, like, below the speed limit in the left lane.
34:31So, how's that an excuse for your driving?
34:33It's not a excuse.
34:34Okay.
34:35It was all my bad.
34:36100% my fault.
34:39I appreciate your honesty, okay?
34:41You're going to get a warning tonight.
34:43But, like you said, it's not an excuse just because somebody's driving their way.
34:47You're cutting people off.
34:48You're speeding.
34:49I think you knew the gig was up as soon as I pulled up behind you, right?
34:52I totally deserve everything.
34:53Let's just make better decisions when we're trying to get to a fair, okay?
34:56You're welcome.
34:56All right, sir.
34:57Have a good night.
34:58All right.
34:59You too.
35:01Normally, I don't do traffic stops unless it's something egregious like that.
35:07I thought we were getting the DUI because how he was braking.
35:10I promise you, that warning probably went a lot further.
35:15He'll probably be like, you know what?
35:17They need to slow down.
35:33As the heat comes, it gets dangerous.
35:37During the summer, we have a lot of, they're called, like, man downs.
35:41People just fainted on the side of the road, you know, from heat exhaustion.
35:55554-76, rescue follow-up.
35:57Right now, we're going to go to a rescue follow-up, which a reporter says she found a man on
36:04the ground.
36:04He might be dead.
36:29It's been a while since he's been down.
36:32Has to be at least a couple of days.
36:48I can't tell how long he's been deceased.
36:56I can't lift him.
37:02The skin is starting to fall apart.
37:05That's usually from the heat.
37:07I just need to do an inspection of him before I call the medical examiners.
37:15And there's nobody else to help me because I can't hold him and take a picture.
37:20It's too heavy.
37:21Let me get these.
37:26See what I can do.
37:40Most of the time, the medical examiners, they call it declined jurisdiction.
37:45They won't come pick up his body if he has medical issues,
37:51because they want a funeral home to just take him.
37:57Funeral home called me and said that they're on their way.
38:02I don't know yet what he died of, but so many people do die of heat out here.
38:09I've seen the bad ones.
38:10I've seen the fresh ones.
38:13I just hope if I ever die at my house, I'm, like, found right away.
38:33776-1051.
38:34The Albuquerque start to keep on the right side of Colorado.
38:37Termin' possibly 1056.
38:39I'm speeding.
38:411078.
38:45737-76-1051.
38:47So we are going to an accident right around the corner,
38:50and it said that one of the drivers was possibly intoxicated.
38:58So this is interesting.
39:01Kind of one of those things, like, how does this even happen?
39:10Oh, my Lord.
39:14Hello.
39:15All righty, so who's driving what?
39:17I looked up.
39:18They were right here in the middle of the street,
39:20and I slammed right into them.
39:23Going probably about 45.
39:25I hit them good.
39:26Okay.
39:27Do you want to come back up over here with me?
39:29Just want to kind of get away from the car?
39:30Yeah, no, I'm fully, like, I'm the guy.
39:35You're the guy?
39:36Repeat.
39:38I'm the one wrong.
39:39I'm sorry.
39:39I'm freaking out.
39:40It's okay, bitch.
39:41Do you want to take a seat on the curb for a second
39:43and just kind of relax?
39:46Take a second, relax.
39:48I'm sorry.
39:49I'm sorry I'm shaking up.
39:50It's all right, man.
39:52You're fine.
39:53All righty.
39:53Do you have anything to drink tonight?
39:55Yeah.
39:55Okay.
39:56Yeah.
39:56How much did you drink?
39:57Enough to up.
39:59Yeah.
40:00Enough to you up?
40:01Enough to, uh, yeah.
40:03How many are we talking?
40:04Yeah.
40:05Four, five?
40:06Um.
40:07All right.
40:08Come walk over here for me.
40:10Are you willing to do a PBT?
40:11I'm willing to do everything.
40:14You're going to keep going until I tell you to stop, okay?
40:16All right, go ahead.
40:18Keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going,
40:21keep going.
40:22Hang tight, just for a second.
40:25Oof.
40:260.17.
40:33Yep.
40:41Hi, how you doing?
40:43At least it's not your car, right?
40:45I was telling you, this thing's brand new, though.
40:47It's, like, smells new.
40:48Oh, really?
40:49Yeah.
40:51I didn't have a chance to talk to you guys.
40:52I was trying to deal with him when I first showed up.
40:55But you guys are all okay?
40:56I mean, do you need any medical attention right now?
40:59No?
40:59Okay.
41:01Well, I'm glad you guys are all good.
41:02All righty.
41:03Have a good night.
41:03Yeah, you too.
41:08When I got here, talked to him real quick.
41:11Pretty evident we had odor of intoxicants.
41:13I had flirt speech, red watery bloodshot eyes, all things that kind of go into a DUI.
41:18Okay.
41:19So, once again, sorry for taking your guys' time.
41:29Thanks again, partner.
41:30Is that what you said?
41:31Good work.
41:32All right.
41:42I do think a lot of DUIs in general happen because people just don't think they're going to get caught.
41:52I think it's definitely something that it's just easier to not drink and drive.
41:57It's not worth it, especially when you're driving to the desert at night.
42:03But just another day in Pima County.
