05:17RuPaul's Drag Race has helped me while I've been self-isolating by giving me both an escape,

05:25I've been watching RuPaul's Drag Race in quarantine just like everyone else, and it just makes me feel good every
05:30time.
05:31Watching Drag Race and self-isolation has, first of all, made me smile a lot and made me forget about
05:37how sad some of this felt.

22:03Growing up where I grew up in Milwaukee, probably one of the worst neighborhoods in the city,
22:09it was one of those things where you had to fight for everything that you wanted, no matter what it
22:14was.
22:14Even for me, coming from a place that was so hard to grow up in, so rough, it made me
22:20a better competitor in so many other aspects of my life.
22:23So, Jada, how has your family reacted to you appearing on Drag Race?
22:27It's so crazy.
22:28My mother is always at work, usually, and she's like telling everybody her job, like, this is my son.
22:33And she's like pulling up all these pictures of me.
22:35And then when I had the first viewing party, my second oldest brother and my father, they came to the
22:39viewing party.
22:40And it was so crazy because when you announced that I had won the challenge, my brother and my father
22:45started to cry.
22:46Oh, wow.

24:13And I get to live that every single time I get in drag.
24:16Every single time that I step in the stage in drag, I get to live this glamorous fantasy.
24:20I get to live out all the opportunities I don't get to share with my grandmother now.

32:24And any of those moments that you see Queen sitting down, talking to that person on the other side of
32:29the camera, oftentimes that's Jacqueline.
32:31For me, that was Jacqueline.
32:33Miss Jacqueline was my story producer on season six of RuPaul's Drag Race.

32:39She was my mother.
