00:16for the
00:17Netflix is a joke festival so come on and hang with us have you ever been to a sporting event
00:22with your sister and they put you on the kiss cam you're like this is my yes we've had I've
00:28had the like you guys but you powered through yeah but I'm like oh god we're on the jumbo
00:40so how did we we met it was so quick it was so fast it was um I was at
00:45Fox I had a show called Garbage
00:47Time they were trying to get me to do like press and promo and stuff I'm not a morning person
00:52and
00:53they asked me to do Opie and Jim and they were like it's really early but the guest Pete Davidson's
01:01a guest and Dan Soder and I didn't know Dan but you didn't know Dan at that time no not
01:06at all
01:07and I was like oh shit I think you had just gotten SNL which now is even more interesting just
01:12because
01:12I know so much more now um but I was like oh okay I get and they're like we think
01:17it'd be really good
01:17it's on serious I was like okay yeah I'll grow up and wake up in the morning and I'll go
01:21so I went
01:23that's where I first met Dan and the whole I just he I remember he like confused me with somebody
01:28else
01:29he was like are you that girl that works for the Red Sox and I was like no no and
01:35he's like are you
01:35sure and I was like no you work for the Red Sox no I'm I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure
01:39I'd know uh but
01:40he was just so funny and then when we left I mean you were very funny too oh yeah I
01:45lost I lost that
01:46battle it's okay it was also just that like I think you had already started on your historic run if
01:52you know what I mean so I didn't think I was I wasn't looking at it in any other way
01:56um I didn't
01:58think I met the qualifications we'll just say it was out of respect for you um and so anyway we
02:05like
02:07historic run it's fucking awesome I mean it's that I have it's my next special historic run um
02:13so he we uh took a picture after which Pete it's the most uncomfortable picture it's like I'm clearly
02:19like so nervous I don't know what's up but now it's just so funny because every photo of me that
02:25hasn't been taken post 2024 I am ashamed of I hate pictures you have to take them all the time
02:31all the
02:31time to the most attractive women who have ever walked the planet yeah that's why I'm so that's
02:36why it's like oh man you chose this life I wish I had a dermatologist it's just knowing how to
02:41stand
02:42is something you never think about until you see a picture of yourself on like a red carpet and you
02:47go
02:47why am I standing like that yeah why do my shoulders look like that yeah why am I high as
02:52shit I know
02:53and you don't realize it until and then the next time you do a red carpet you're like
02:57trying yeah thinking about it yeah too hard and you're like what do you do what's your go-to uh
03:04move when someone takes a picture with you I've tried I go like this that see me too but then
03:09too
03:09many of those accumulate yeah and you're a 40 year old woman and every picture of you is like
03:14and it's just crazy I think at this point I just do this yeah I hate I've like do you
03:19pop it out
03:19yeah yeah yeah I do whatever like a tick tock has taught me how to make my butt look bigger
03:24from
03:24the side I do whatever that is and I hit it and it works you know I hate it I
03:31it's like I never
03:32think I'm gonna like that part I hate like the social freezing in time a moment of what I look
03:37like you genuinely just love sports yeah and now you're laughing do what all I know I gotta do all
03:42that and also I'm supposed to be doing it at like a high level like the amount that people expect
03:46me to
03:46be you know attractive I'm like at some point can I just go and that was that era and now
03:52we're in a
03:53different one where I just am not gonna be a lot to look at can't we just can't the burden
03:57be off
03:58you know for a minute no there's there's so much more pressure on women to be hot forever yeah thank
04:04you Pete you're so right no you're so right no it really speak on it king yeah please no it's
04:10really
04:11fucked up because I've seen you know I've seen yeah women yeah like what they've had to do
04:18before they have to just to go get dinner and I'm just like that sucks because I could just look
04:24like a piece of shit and no one's gonna be like he looks like a piece of shit they're just
04:28gonna be
04:29like that's awesome and it's like not the other way around so like I can't imagine having to put that
04:35much effort or they'll do the like wow she got a lot of work done and then you're like okay
04:40because
04:40if she didn't you'd go oh I don't want to fuck her anymore and you're like why why can't we
04:45all
04:45just go like yeah also it's leave everybody alone just leave everybody alone like not like sports
04:52should be the one place where it's like we all we all have a common thing we all love sports
04:59yeah my
04:59Instagram bio I guess is uh I put myself out there for a living and it truly just came from
05:04um sitting
05:06with a blank Instagram bio and being like how do you write a sentence that sums up who you are
05:12you
05:12want it to like help people know who you are but you also don't want to be like host of
05:17the
05:17critically acclaimed like whatever and so uh I think I just said four time Emmy nominated exactly which
05:23I do I did win one you did I did win what's that like yeah it was sports Emmys technically
05:28they are
05:28the same they're the real size it's not like the local news ones that's legit but it was a separate
05:33ceremony it wasn't like actual Emmys um but basically I was like it's I don't know what I
05:39do is really weird because people are always like what are you are you a sportscaster are you a comedian
05:44are you a entertain like what are you and I still don't really know but the only thing I know
05:49about
05:49myself to be true is that I put myself out there for a living so like I'll go to a
05:52game and like
05:53share what that experience was like or like you know make fun of myself and the experience of being
05:58a sports fan because I think that it brings other sports fans together because to me sports are
06:03community yeah it's the one equalizer in life kind of is is sports yeah whatever you are like
06:10people bond over sports there's something to being in a in a stadium full of people and you don't know
06:17this guy or this guy or that girl at all you know nothing about them yeah but we all are
06:23our hearts
06:24are like rooting for an outcome the same outcome down there there's like something like there's
06:30something we can't see that it connects us in that way and I feel like that's what sports are
06:33for did you always want to no I didn't even um I just okay so let's see how I got
06:39into it because
06:40it was not the plan what was your plan originally I didn't have one um I was gonna I went
06:46to college
06:46I went for public relations it doesn't really mean anything and then um graduated and there were no
06:52jobs so I worked at like I did all that odd job period of your life and then um moved
06:59like back
06:59home was bartending where's home Massachusetts Framingham Massachusetts but I moved to to like the
07:05Boston area I bartended there for a little bit and then started like a blog and then started making
07:11YouTube videos of just like what's crazy is I used to describe it as like weekend update but
07:18you worked at SNL is crazy I don't I've never told somebody who's on SNL before that that was
07:24just like a weird moment for me um but it was like yeah like uh news headlines with jokes they
07:29were not
07:30good but you got to get that out of your system to get better at it and then um a
07:35couple things
07:36happened I moved to New York to work for this company called guyism it's like one of those websites
07:41that's like boys what's that yeah so tell me more Katie like one of those like boy I don't know
07:47men's
07:48interest what they used to do before all the claviculars and the whatever the hell that boys watch
07:52what is that what is clavicular is this uh looks maxing guy who broke his own jaw with a hammer
08:00because
08:00he thought it would make him look hotter yeah he's like a great example of how young men have lost
08:06their
08:06fucking minds yeah they've just lost their way you know it's really sad the people that are speaking
08:12to them are like really um incentivized to lie to them and to like make them feel alone and scared
08:19and nobody's stopping them from doing it's weird for them to be perverted about themselves yes yes
08:25yeah it used to just be like you know cat calling and like yeah porn and now they're trying this
08:31is
08:31what's important I do still think they're doing the porn thing though you think so yeah I think
08:34it's evolved you know I think they're like x I think they're doing the porn thing so much
08:38so you're on guys that's right guyism good show that's good hosting Pete thank you um okay so guyism
08:46this website I moved to New York to work for them but then I got Fox Sports launched Fox Sports
08:501
08:50which was going to be like the answer to ESPN because ESPN is 24-hour news uh sports stuff all
08:55the time
08:56and Fox wanted its version of that part of the idea was that they would have throughout the day of
09:03programming the network like update people who would pop in and tell you the news or whatever and
09:08they were just like casting a wide net uh to try to figure out who was going to be on
09:14this network
09:14and they called guyism and they were like we want her and um I like I was like wait a
09:22sports network I
09:23was like I love sports I'm from Boston from Framingham Massachusetts but like you know I
09:27identify with like as a Boston sports fan so YouTube videos before weren't about it was they
09:32weren't all sports it was like news um and like weird news guys would like yes but then sometimes
09:37would touch on sports as like to me that is news they're all the same to me and so I
09:42was like oh I
09:42just don't think I know enough I was like I don't think I'm gonna be I'm not like a stats
09:47person I
09:48just like sports um so I'm not really I was like I don't know if I could like work for
09:52an ESPN and
09:53they were like why don't you come and audition and we'll see what happens so I like went to LA
09:57auditioned and blew it um to the point where the guy that had like had me audition was like okay
10:03so
10:03that wasn't good but we put you in a tough spot like you've only ever made YouTube videos in your
10:07house you even you even said you don't know anything about sports yeah they're like we sat you down in
10:11like a room with like a camera when the when the jib first flew in I went like whoa and
10:17they were like oh
10:17shit this girl has no clue what's going on hey at one point I was like are all these people
10:25going
10:25to be in here when we film and they were like yes it's a it's TV and I was like
10:30I this is not I was
10:32I think if I watched back my audition tape you would just see no life behind my eyes I think
10:36I was just
10:37like uh-huh out in LA by myself no idea what was going on they were like let's try it
10:4222 20 yeah 26 25
10:4426 old enough but you know I still should have I did I just was like my world was rocked
10:49and so
10:50they were like look we're gonna try again there's a show we're gonna do out in New York uh with
10:54Regis
10:54Philbin and I was like name I've heard of he rules they were like we're gonna do a show out
10:59there we'll
10:59audition you for that and it'll be a lot more low-key we're gonna do it where they do you
11:03know
11:03the show watch what happens live yeah they were like we'll do it in that studio because it was at
11:07embassy row the production company and I auditioned there it was so much better it was like a much more
11:12chilled relaxed vibe and then from there I worked at Fox I did that show with Regis for a year
11:16till
11:16they canceled it and how's Regis he has passed no I didn't know if you knew I didn't want to
11:25be the
11:25one to break the news yeah do you guys not tell Pete about reruns do you just go this is
11:31real TV
11:32he was like my Johnny Carson yeah he's the man yeah he is exactly who he was on TV that's
11:37a sweet guy he
11:39one time he uh it came over to me and I because I used to do there was like six
11:44of us at the desk
11:45on the show right way too many people it was like Regis and then the the real driver of the
11:50show was
11:50Georgie Thompson she was like a a big deal in England and came over here to co-host the show
11:55with him
11:55and then Michael Costa the comedian I don't know if you know him yeah Trevor Price who's an NFL player
12:00Jason Gay who's like a nerdy love him nerdy like sports journalist and then me it was like a weird
12:06group
12:06of people um and so my segments were always like little comedy bits and Regis came over one day
12:13and he was like you remind me so much of Tina Fey and I was like Regis thank you and
12:21he goes yeah
12:22brunette pretty and that was the end of the list Regis had a um workout tape really that we used
12:31to
12:31make fun of him for he would do like just fives yes exactly in like tight shorts and
12:37shout out I guess that's during the Taibo Billy Blanks yeah everybody was making VHS tips my mom was
12:43using the Jane Fonda one when I was growing up so I have like vocal stims that are stuck in
12:48my head
12:48of what Jane Fonda would say to her my mom was all about Jenny Craig because of Kirstie Alley yeah
12:54like
12:54I was fucking uh seven eight and I would see these frozen meals sometimes I forget how young you are
13:01that just really rocked me when you said that you were seven or eight I'm getting older how old are
13:05you now 32 okay it's whoa starting to go downhill I'm gonna have to start getting PRP shots okay
13:11what's that will you get your hair make sure it comes back that's right yeah yeah yeah I'm starting
13:16to get the you haven't started the V no no no so I I and then sometimes I'll see Die
13:21Hard and I'll be
13:22like he looks hot yeah like you can do it you can do it you feel like you don't have
13:26like a is it
13:27bumpy your head no it's like yeah you have a fine head it's gonna go it's gonna I'm gonna have
13:33the V
13:33it's not gonna be fully bald it'll just be that like yeah that Justin Theroux fucking yeah that sort
13:39of vibe and what an uggo he is yeah but um I yeah I think about it all the time
13:45just do it then
13:46yeah just do it that's what this podcast is about just getting validation that I should get PRP shots
13:53so yeah you really do so like and it'll be okay dude just do it I think it's like that
13:57that stuff
13:58I mean Dan got I don't know what the names are of all the he told me he had a
14:02lay in like water
14:03for like he got the one where you take the back of your head and you and you put the
14:08hair and it
14:08looks great looks fantastic yeah he's got a real big head so like it was kind of dire
14:14you can't he wasn't really willing to show it to people he needed to bring it up and you're like
14:19yeah you know I was like if you want to I wouldn't would never tell you to get surgery I
14:24think you'd
14:25be happy with how it looks and he is he loves it and now then he just started doing the
14:29PRP the one
14:30for the top of your head or whatever and it's just like if it removes from your brain an anxiety
14:36that
14:36you have every day if every day you get up and look in the mirror and go hmm then just
14:41like do it
14:42who cares don't overdo it right because then they'll make fun of you but either way do it
14:46and then just be funny about it right but back to Regis Philbin oh yeah sure no so Regis
14:52Regis Philbin the man it ends after a season and then then are you like what the fuck what do
14:59I do
14:59now yeah I think I was like again so confused by how everything worked like to go from never having
15:06been on TV to doing the show was uh live for an hour every day live TV is terrifying live
15:13TV for
15:13an hour every day so like my first couple weeks I think the people around me started to notice I
15:17was like what the hell until finally the best piece of advice I got was like live TV it's over
15:23it's done you don't have to worry about it anymore move on to the next day yeah it's like Monday
15:26Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday and it was like so the it was I kind of learned to love it in
15:31that
15:31way it was like once the show was done it's over whatever damage is going to come from it is
15:35out
15:35it's already done time to go on to the next one right and so it was like such a crazy
15:38schedule
15:39then they canceled it and so then I was sort of floating because a lot of most of the network
15:42was in LA and I was in New York and I just didn't really want to move to LA I'm
15:47very east coast I've
15:47always been east coast I just feel more comfortable here I always feel like LA is looking at me going
15:52like are you gonna wear that no I'm like yes yes I don't know I'm like I never feel like
15:58I'm in the
15:59right wavelength I have a question yeah what I would love to ask a little bit about Jeopardy oh let's
16:04do it
16:04so you are on a celebrity Jeopardy you're back did you defeat Maloney oh wow I forgot that
16:09in overtime because I fucked up and did my bid wrong I did the math I had been winning the
16:16whole game
16:17came down to final Jeopardy I did the like okay if he doubles his if he guesses all of it
16:22and gets it
16:22right what will his total be and then I was like how much more is I subtracted that from my
16:28number and
16:28made sure that I would have enough to be I forgot to add a dollar so when I got it
16:32right we tied
16:33I made it so that we tied instead of I beat him and so we had to go to a
16:38sudden death one clue to
16:41win it all and I was like sweating they don't on the show it looks like it happens right away
16:46yeah
16:47this they were like we need 20 minutes we did not yeah what's the downtime on Jeopardy like not
16:51there isn't any except if you accidentally screw up so badly you send it into overtime and then they go
16:58well we didn't plan on this because there's three rounds of Jeopardy why would this ever happen it's been
17:03like that forever yes and so then we uh I had to just like sit there and like rock back
17:08and forth
17:09and be like I may have just blown it I was winning the whole game and I may have just
17:12blown it
17:13and then I buzzed in before him for the final question and just looked down at him and he was
17:17like yes yeah I don't it's really stressful the worst feeling is when you're up there and there's a
17:24question and sometimes or a clue you have to call it a clue because you say the question uh and
17:29you'll go
17:29like sometimes your brain just goes you should know this one and so instead of listening and
17:35thinking about the what the actual what you should buzz in and say your brain goes like
17:39if you forget this one people are gonna be mad at you and then you're going wait no wait hold
17:45on wait
17:46right and then you don't and so that uh has happened to me a couple times it's a little stressful
17:50but it's I don't know I love Jeopardy because it's like sports but for knowing stuff is it
17:57Alex Trebek it was I feel like I've broken the news to you about some deaths a couple too many
18:02since I've been here he has passed no I just saw him on there I know so after uh oh
18:10yeah so after
18:11Regis I uh stayed in New York I worked with that company uh Embassy Row Michael Davies funny enough
18:16who is the producer of Jeopardy now um he helped me launch my own show it's called Garbage Time and
18:22it
18:22was on at like midnight on Fox Sports 1 12 30 on Fox Sports 1 hell yeah it was half
18:28an hour um once
18:30a week of like it was supposed to be like a comedy late night show um tough to do in
18:36sports because
18:38you'll get like if a if a NASCAR race got rained out they would get you know we'd get pushed
18:43back
18:43we wouldn't air until like four in the morning oh god um but a blast still to this day I
18:48think the
18:48most fun I've had uh because like they we were the only people in New York the rest of the
18:53network
18:54was in LA and they were like making stuff happen over there we could kind of just make our weird
18:58little show and nobody would watch it before we would put it on TV and then like three people
19:02would watch it so like we really got to just like mess around and try to sort of share the
19:07experience
19:08of being like a sports fan that isn't worried about analyzing who's gonna win or like breaking down
19:15a defense but instead being like how much does it suck when you're playing fantasy football and
19:20you set your lineup and then your bench goes off like that's the worst feeling and like capturing
19:27those types of fan moments and so we did that for a little while and then it got to the
19:33point where
19:33Fox was like we want you to move to LA and I was like eh I don't want to and
19:39so then I left and
19:40went to ESPN and then basically kind of ran that whole thing back ESPN ESPN is not in Connecticut is
19:45it am I making that up it is really but they also are in uh LA and New York so
19:50I was in New York okay
19:51yeah I feel like my ESPN I don't know if it's still going on but when I was in high
19:56school it was
19:58PTI yeah and then there's one with like uh a dude with like slick back hair around the horn yes
20:05those were the Tony reality yes Tony reality they just canceled that no yeah no seriously so he's
20:13dead as well maybe like six months ago oh god yeah I'm so late to everything I know oh but
20:20that was
20:20the that was like the gold there was like a that was good it's good TV they're not really doing
20:24a lot
20:24of that anymore yeah it's I don't know if it's like do you think it's because we're so in our
20:31phones
20:31that we could scroll past anything where it's like okay we're at war like obviously for for me
20:38personally it is super triggering and like reminiscent of like my childhood but this thing
20:44sucks phones fucking suck I'm like I and even knowing that that's how I feel I still there will
20:52be parts of the day where I kind of like go like how long have I been doing this how
20:57long have I been
20:58doing this I've been doing this for an hour it's like you just lose these things are just built to
21:03make you keep going like the next thing I see is going to be the thing that makes me feel
21:07better
21:08the next thing I see I watch people flip watches on 47th street some guy just drinks a red bull
21:13and
21:13he's like I got a Daytona let's fuck and then he goes from kiosk to kiosk and he's like 28
21:19grand he's
21:19like nope 28 five and I'm just like why am I why am I watching why am I watching I've
21:24heard so many
21:25young women tell me the stories of their breakups and I'm like these are not my friends it's gotten
21:29so bad where like like I guess I guess you're a little older than me why'd we have to say
21:36shit
21:37like that I thought we were having a nice time like a fraction yeah just a fraction older than me
21:42but like but like when you were in school like I when I got into high school it was the
21:49end of the
21:50flip phone and like the start of the blackberry and that college for me right there I was like
21:55that stop stop it stop I want that little click click click click click click yeah remember how
22:00dirty people girls balls used to be that like white ball and he's yeah the uh the little roller ball
22:05yeah just clipping it imagine remember how dirty girls balls used to be was crazy was crazy that was
22:12saving you from yourself uh yeah my ball was filthy I love dirty girl balls in college yeah but then
22:20bbm was the peak of talking to people on your phone yeah like blackberry messenger being able to go like
22:26click click click click click click click click yeah done as soon as everything went to touch screen
22:30I was like oh this was yeah and if you wanted to go on the internet like you could but
22:33it's gonna take
22:34a while you could but it was like really not worth it yeah not worth it yeah um but yeah
22:38that was I feel
22:39like was like peak peak mankind right there I know it's like and now it's just like hurtling off
22:44of a cliff like I don't know what's going on with sports gambling right now is like the most stressful
22:49thing about that's what I was gonna say my fucking cousins that's that's all they do and they're
22:54they're children and I get it because it's like a game on their phone it's like what I would have
22:58done with like snood when I was in high school yeah but snood didn't cost you five grand it wasn't
23:03linked to my bank account like it's just really stressful for me like as soon as they made it not
23:09illegal though like the only people paying to make new sports content were gambling companies right
23:17how has it changed in so like I'm sure Dan like when we started comedy it was so different where
23:24like everyone watched Dan's Conan like getting a Conan set was the biggest fucking thing you could do
23:31going to the Montreal comedy festival was biggest thing you could do how has what you do changed
23:35like dress I imagine it's the same it's just like yeah it's there's too many places to go to find
23:41it
23:41and most sports stuff is tied to the value of like rights and only certain people have like rights to
23:48show footage and stuff like that so like the networks have their couple shows but they've mostly
23:56cut everything down to what's easiest and cheapest to produce to support the fact that they put all
24:01the money into buying the right to show a football game you know yeah because it's like we're back to
24:06cable sort of where it's like well you can only get this game on Peacock but then this game this
24:12year
24:12so baseball just started I don't know I want to rock your world but it started today yesterday and
24:16today oh my god that's where we are in the calendar and like in order I think I was reading
24:20a thing about
24:21the Yankees where it was like if you wanted to watch every single Yankees game this year you'd have to
24:24have
24:25like seven different subscription services one of them being cable how's that cool it's just too
24:30much is the yes network it's every yes that does still exist Michael Kay he's still alive right he
24:37sure is there is something we have to get to who is your football team the Philadelphia Eagles what the
24:44fuck happened how the fuck and if you say big Dom I I punch me in the face yes big
24:51Dom well here's so
24:53what happened was all this like shit bad stuff was happening in in my life and uh my buddy Dave
25:01called me he was like come to Philly and I was like I can't I'm a fucking Giants fan he's
25:07like no just
25:08like come come hang out and I went to Philly and I fell in love with Philly because it reminded
25:14me of
25:15what New York used to be like that makes sense I guess and everyone there was not I was walking
25:21around
25:21the street and like it was positive it wasn't like it is here or anywhere it was all just like
25:27hey good
25:27to see you around here or like not even asking for pictures just like very nice and then I met
25:33Dom and I
25:35just was hanging out in the facility and I started hanging out with the players and we just all became
25:40friends and then and then I every I would go to all the games and they have not lost one
25:45game that I've been to
25:45whoa that's big yeah that's big they play well for you they they really want you to like them yeah
25:50yeah they go guys Pete's here and let's go and that year uh was just so happened to be the
25:57year that
25:57they went to Super Bowl so everybody thinks it's just like big bandwagoner did Pete Davidson get them
26:02to the Super Bowl but I love how I'm treated there I love uh how they treat people um and
26:12it's just like a
26:12very loving I was at a place in my life where I was like I'm going where love is because
26:17I am
26:18suffering so much and uh now I almost some of my best friends are all there and uh I really
26:26I love
26:26it there all right I that's I really didn't think you'd be able to make me go like are you
26:31pats I get
26:31it yeah yeah you're not gonna become a dolphin then uh no even if they invite you to the to
26:38stay on
26:39the field literally never to the point where Dan's friend Mike McDaniel was the head coach of the
26:44Dolphins yeah we went to a bunch of Dolphins games and then he became Miami as a person yes he
26:49really
26:49did it was fun he really did it was fun to watch he's the man and he's in LA now
26:53and he's gonna be
26:54fantastic what is he Rams uh Chargers Chargers yeah offensive coordinator which I think will be
26:58really good awesome but Dan was like we're going to see like we would go see when they would be
27:04in
27:04town we would go to MetLife and watch like Jets Dolphins and I'd be sitting there in the crowd
27:09like like I'm rooting for a sinkhole I hate this this sucks there's one one question I've been asked
27:15because a podcast is supposed to have a thing it's got it you gotta put a button on it yes
27:19yeah what is
27:20something you've learned in your life from uh experiences that works for you and it can't be
27:26something that someone told you or um like gave you advice so what's my really smart thing I've
27:36learned from my own life experience that works for me um I uh found out late in life I sound
27:48like
27:48every white lady you've ever met but late in life was when I found out I had ADD it was
27:52not as it wasn't
27:54recent so it was before the big wave right but it was late it was after I was done it's
27:58after I was
27:58done with school it was after it would have really helped me to know that I had a learning disability
28:03um and so I used to always feel really guilty and upset with myself when I wasn't able to like
28:09read books something about sitting down I always wanted to be the type of person that would sit
28:14down and read a book right but I found it really difficult to like not keep reading the same page
28:19over
28:19and over because my mind would whatever and I learned that if I listen to the audio book
28:25while reading the book it takes the problem away completely and I'm actually like an I can be an
28:32avid reader do you 2x it no I don't I think I probably do like 1.1 and 1.5
28:38right I like you know
28:39speed it up a little and you can ride the thing to move with you as you go but it's
28:43also good because
28:44if my brain wanders I like the it helps I don't know for some reason two channels being dominated
28:50by the same information helps it drown out the other channels because it's always being reinforced
28:55which I don't know what that is but I found that it worked for me and it was like unlocking
29:00something
29:00like that'll help a lot of people maybe it does suck that you have to buy both the audio book
29:05and
29:05the book but I use Libby which is like what's Libby if you have a library card um Libby's like
29:11an
29:13Libby's like uh you can get you can get ebooks and audio books from the library but it without
29:19having to go to the library it's in your phone it's just free free library but libraries are free
29:24right yeah but I'm saying it's in your phone so if you wanted to like read on your kindle
29:28sometimes you're like sometimes you gotta wait in line for like popular titles but at least you're
29:36not paying like seven dollars for an audio book and twenty dollars for an e-book and then spending
29:40twenty seven dollars to read a book which is a little much yeah an indirect sponsor of today's
29:45show well it's the library so you know we won't make them pay it's kind of like charity right we
29:51can write this off on our taxes for sure which I have to do well thank you for doing this
29:57yeah thank
29:57you for having me this was so fun it was so nice to see you for the second time yeah
30:00first time
30:01being like 15 years ago
