00:00TSA can beat it up even more and I'm sure it'll be fine. I don't know if I could do
00:03it with a pedal board live
00:04Honestly, I could try but it wouldn't be very fun. The bottom ones are real the top ones are dummies
00:08You know because eight row cabs would be crazy
00:37Hey, my name is Gabe Mangold from Enterprise Earth
00:39We are on tour right now with Hanabie and Necro Goblikon at the Chicago House of Blues for what I
00:44believe is a sold-out show
00:45So this whole tour has been great. It's been amazing, and I'm gonna show y'all some of my shit.
00:50So first up here
00:51A quick note Koda our bassist and I recently started working with Ibanez shout out Tyler and Ibanez for helping
00:57us get these amazing
00:58Instruments in our hands. I've been a lifelong Ibanez player and to work with the company is like an awesome
01:04really cool thing
01:05So thanks Ibanez. The first one we got is the RG 2027 XL
01:1127 inch baritone
01:13seven string
01:15These are loaded with DiMarzio. I also work with DiMarzio. Shout out to DiMarzio
01:19These we got the tone zone and PAF
01:22bridge neck
01:24Tone knob delete volumes down here five-way switch on this guitar for this set
01:29I'm mostly on the bridge pickup here other songs in the set that we're not playing tonight
01:33I will utilize like the neck and sometimes the second third and fourth position
01:36But today or in this tour. It's pretty easy for me on this one. I just rock the neck for
01:41all my solos and rhythms
01:42But yeah, this guitar is amazing
01:45I it's I got it set up in drop e e p a d
01:49G
01:50G flat B if I said that right if I didn't say that right, sorry world
01:55But we got a 10 to 52 set and then an 80 on the bottom for the low e intonates
02:00and holds up great
02:01I got like virtually no buzz on that low e
02:03Because we love tuning stupid low in this band
02:05Also, I work with the Deodario as well shout out Deodario for always hooking us up with strings. They're great
02:11So yeah, I got Deodario 10 to 52 and then an 80 on the bottom so the best strings and
02:16yxls by the way, so next up
02:19Another Ibanez we have the RG
02:2253 28 prestige 8 string
02:27This is quickly become my new favorite 8 string. I used to play multi-scale but after going back to
02:32Ibanez and 27 inch
02:34Straight frets. I don't think I'll ever go back to multi multi scale ever again. Nothing wrong with it
02:39I just like the straighter frets. It's just easier for my brain and my fingers to play
02:43But this one I have done some modifications to
02:46So I guess I'll start with the strings also Deodario and my my excels
02:51I got a set of eights on these 8 to 38 a 60 for the a and then a
02:5794 for the low D
02:59This is tuned we plan a couple different tunings in enterprise earth for a string songs right now
03:04We are in dadgad or what I call double drop dadgad. So we have a d a d a d
03:09g a d
03:12Anyone that's familiar with open tunings will know dadgad. It's the most common one
03:15We also do standard double drop D where these two high strings go up to a B and an E
03:20Sometimes we play in drop a as well
03:22Where this this goes to B and E and then this the sixth string goes up to an E so
03:27I effectively have
03:28Drop a on a seven with a low D as well
03:32And let's see for pickups. I just swap these out. These are Demarzi or deactivators gold plated
03:37I plan to swap all the hardware to gold at some point in this time because black and gold goes
03:41fucking hard
03:44Toe knob delete on this one because I can't stand when it gets in the way of my hand get
03:47those out of there for this kind of band
03:49So not if I was playing blues, I would have the tone on there all day
03:53But yeah, a coil tap right there as well in a three-way switch I am utilizing
03:58The middle position on this tour for some of agony for the clean vibey bluesy solo in the middle
04:03Otherwise, I'm rocking pretty much all neck or sorry bridge pickup on this one
04:09And yeah, I love this guitar. It's really freaking cool really great and again shout out Ibanez for hooking these
04:14instruments up for
04:15For the store we are loving them so real quick my backups here probably the most expensive backup in the
04:21world
04:22An era cities oh eight oh s
04:26Shout out area cities. I love those guys. They're great
04:29I used to work with them, but I have since of course which drove to Ibanez
04:32But air cities the build quality and craftsmanship is truly unmatched those guys are amazing all the love in the
04:37world to those guys
04:38They make incredible instruments
04:40But yeah, oh wait OS 28 to 26 five multi scale longer in M8s pickups right here hip shot bridge
04:48pretty straightforward rig here
04:50But yeah, this used to be my main for for many years, and I still love this guitar
04:54And it's always going to be my backup
04:56I'm always going to have it with me all right second backup last but certainly not least
05:00Some of you may know the lore of this company some may not this is a strictly 7 solar
05:06So the strictly 7 was a company that started popping off in like the early 2010s
05:10They were making really great multi scale baritone instruments. This is the Ola Ola England signature
05:16It's what he had he was a signature artist with strictly 7 before he started solar his own company
05:22Bare knuckle nail bombs for the pickups in this one this used to be my main for like pretty much
05:27six or seven years of Enterprise Earth
05:28This guitar has been around the world. It's been beat the shit
05:30It's one of those those guitars. I will never sell because it has so much sentimental sentimental value
05:35But right now it's my backup, and it's still solid as a rock. We also work with Anki shout out
05:40Anki and Dave
05:41They're great. I have an old Anki. We got the old new here
05:45We got the old I think these were the gen 2 or the gen 3 of the old base case
05:50Anki's because I needed it to fit my s7
05:51The baritone and then I have the brand spanking new x-series. I believe it's called x-series Anki
05:57The updates here with the cases are really cool like the super thick skateboard wheels thicker casters
06:04Recessed handles
06:06Recessed handle on the lid as well, which is like really great
06:09It's just it's more boxy and it's actually sturdier, too
06:12So it packs on the trailer well and TSA can beat it up even more and I'm sure it'll be
06:16fine
06:17So yeah, shout out Anki this new case x-series is fucking awesome. So welcome to our mothership rack aptly
06:24named big dick daddy
06:25It's a girl big dick daddy. She very very important
06:29This has been our live rig since 2021
06:33Me and our old
06:35Sound guy Cameron Breen shout out Cameron best sound guy in the fucking world along with our current song guy
06:40Adam Skinner
06:40They're the best he and I put this rack together back in 2021
06:44To be like the kind of end-all be-all mothership rig for IEMs playback
06:49Guitar and bass tones everything. So yeah, I'll just do a quick rundown from top to bottom up top
06:55We have our session in Cubase. I've been a lifelong Cubase user shout out Seinberg
07:00It's got our click track and reference going to our drummer. It's got our stereo track and 808 going to
07:06front of house
07:07I'm always live stage left and then we have a track guitar going to stage right and
07:13We have some FX as well as going on our vocalist Travis's mic you can't obviously it's a computer
07:17You can't see what's happening, but the effects come on and off radio effects
07:21Flanger saturation and all kinds of fun things that we automate in the session
07:25Everything is also midi controlled as well for our guitar and bass patches because
07:30We fortunately or unfortunately have written songs that necessitate that
07:35So it's super fun a lot of our songs like song of agony was actually composed around midi changes
07:39I don't know if I could do it with a pedal board live honestly I could try but it wouldn't
07:43be very fun
07:44Because we utilize a lot of pitch shifting whammy automated choruses flangers all kinds of crazy stuff
07:50So on the top rack we have our interface scarlet 18i 20. We have three IEMs G4 Sennheiser series antenna
07:58combiner
07:58Pretty straightforward anyone that knows anything about IEMs
08:02Down in the middle rack is a guitar and bass world so we have our instruments the new Sennheiser EWD
08:09series are great
08:11I
08:12Just can't say enough nice things about the EWD series that there's two channels in this EWD X which supplies
08:19Kota and I's guitar and bass and then we have an EWD for Travis's wireless mic here as well
08:24So we got three channels of wireless all in one you very reliable great range sounds great also pretty affordable
08:31as well
08:31So thank you Sennheiser for that now on to the fun stuff
08:35Which I'm sure you're all interested in our quad cortex rigs here
08:39So we have these racks built in here take that off the tuner
08:43For our QC's we also are fortunate enough to work with neural shout out neural and the team. They're great
08:48They've always been very kind to us and helped us out a lot. So they're awesome
08:53But yeah, we run everything off of these quad cortex quad cortex is again midi automated in the session
08:59My amps for those at home wondering I for my rhythm. I'm using a dual rectifier rev f
09:04Capture into a
09:08412 Mesa 412, but it's got h30s in it not v30s important detail and
09:13Then also an important detail a dirty tree clean boost in front. I really really enjoy this overdrive pedal
09:19It's like or boost pedal. Sorry. It just adds this really nice abrasive
09:24Attack texture without going like too far
09:28Like some other boost pedals may
09:30But it also does more than a standard ts808 or max on overdrive might do as well nothing wrong with
09:34those
09:34I love those two for the right application
09:37But yeah, it's pretty straightforward. I run the dual rec for my rhythms my lead channels
09:42Here I'm running a soldano sl 100 and then for cleans. Let me go to my other casket patch here
09:50Clean's we are running. I believe it is a twin. Yeah fender twin
09:53With a little blues driver in front so all pretty standard tried and true guitar tones honestly
09:59We do run live cabs on stage
10:01So I use my vht252 power amp
10:05We will always run cabs forever because we are a rock and roll metal band and I like pushing real
10:10speakers and air on stage
10:11So we are also endorsed by orange. These are all of our orange cabs on stage
10:15So no logos, but we have our custom grills on the front here
10:20All of these orange 412s and bass 410s were supplied by orange to us shout out orange
10:26They sound great. They play great
10:28The bottom ones are real the top ones are dummies, you know because eight real cabs would be crazy
10:34But yeah, we have our cab back line up here and I love it every album cycle
10:38We change out the grill claws to whatever art is appropriate
10:40So if you weren't aware enterprise earth has our latest cp called descent into madness, which came out
10:46January 31st of 2025 we are promoting that on this tour
10:50That's what all our art and our backdrop and everything is based off of is descent into madness
10:54You can go pick it up on vinyl at the merch table
10:56We're also going to have it for sale online on a web store after the tour
11:00We're on the rest of this hanabye tour until april 12th ends in la
11:05We're also going to china and japan in june and july and then we're also supporting humanity's last breath and
11:11build yarta
11:12In europe in september october of the end of this year carmen jaka is also on the tour as well
11:16That's all we got on the books for this year
11:18And we're very excited for all these amazing tours that we've been able to do this year
11:22And we're stoked to get some more new music out to y'all hopefully by the end of the year
11:25as well
11:43We'll see you next time
11:46We'll see you next time
11:47We'll see you next time
