00:21When we first moved here in March of 2020,
00:26the very first time that I saw something in the sky,
00:31I really hesitated to say anything to anybody.
00:34But it happened repetitively, maybe three, four times
00:37before I mentioned it to somebody down in Dublin.
00:39They said, well, you know that this place is famous for that.
00:44Do you know who Ezekiel was?
00:46Prophet.
00:47Ezekiel was a prophet, you're right.
00:48Uh-huh.
00:49And it was a long time ago, all right?
00:52As a Homeland Security consultant, I do a lot of threat analyst work
00:56for the government.
00:58I've seen the government flat-out lie
01:02where I was standing in the location they were lying about.
01:06What I am seeing here is similar to the sightings
01:10that they had by the guys in the Air Force.
01:17It's the movement that catches your attention.
01:19And that fast movement, that's exactly how we're seeing it here.
01:25Ah, jeez.
01:27You know, right? Spooky.
01:28It's something otherworldly.
01:30There's no other way to describe that.
01:32And the star they had seen guided them to Bethlehem.
01:35One of the reasons why a lot of people don't believe
01:38is because they haven't seen it.
01:41And it messes with their concept of who we are
01:45in relation to the universe.
01:46And it guided them so it knew where it was going.
01:50Right?
01:51Mm-hmm.
01:51That means it was...
01:53UFO.
01:55UFO.
01:58Do I believe there's life on other planets? Yes.
02:01But I don't think these are people from another planet.
02:04I still think these are what people called angels.

02:20men have been seen unexplainable things in the sky.
02:24Are we alone in the universe?
02:26Somewhere in the data will be something worth real inquiry.

02:31There are such things in the planet as Bethlehem.

03:38so uh that was the first time i saw the gimbal footage
03:50i don't i can't even describe the shape i mean it looks a little bit disc-like
03:56it's flying along and then it kind of tilts up onto its side
04:02i was watching this footage and i could see no kind of aviation surfaces that you would expect to see
04:10wings tail you know rudders there's none of that so i couldn't really make sense of why this thing was
04:17kind of up in the air like it was and i just i had this kind of emotional response to
04:27it
04:28and i at the time i didn't understand that um
04:33i knew that it wasn't ours right i knew that it wasn't anybody else's uh
04:43so i mean that only leaves one other option i think which is what and that's non-human tech
04:55non-human intelligence technology
05:02because my job was classified and i had access to classified um i was kind of aware
05:10this was not a one-off event for the navy this uh these things happen frequently
05:20all the time they happen all the time
05:51so
05:53A nice cold glass of port milk will come off.
05:56You'll find the table with milk and everything you eat.
05:59You'll do that.
06:09Stephenville, Texas.
06:11The milk capital of the world.
06:13They put out quite a bit of milk over there.
06:16Something very strange about this area.
06:19I look at the sky quite often.
06:22I wonder what all is out there.
06:23I wonder what we don't know about.
06:28I grew up around here.
06:33Nothing to do in these small towns.
06:35You want to fight?
06:36Sure.
06:37We'd have a fight.
06:38That same night, we'd go camping or go fishing on the river down there.
06:42So it's innocent fun.
06:43We'd have a good time.
06:46You know, I've been fascinated with engines of all types since I can remember.
06:52So much to where I started a trucking company.
06:55And it became quite large.
06:56Had quite a few people working for me.
07:03I've always owned quite a few motorcycles, boats, airplanes.
07:09Just to see how it all works is just simply fascinating.
07:12In 2008, I had a great life.
07:16I had a successful business.
07:18I guess I'd been married 16, 17 years at that time.
07:22Very blessed is all I can say.
07:26But what I saw in the sky that night changed everything.
07:38It's been a long, cold winter, bad winter.
07:41That was the first day we had a decent day.
07:44So we came out here to the top of the hill to have a campfire.
07:49It was myself, Mike Odom, and Lance Jones.
07:53And all of a sudden, I see some real bright, high-intensity lights off to the east, headed our way
08:00at a high velocity of speed.
08:03The lights were so bright, it was unlike anything I'd ever seen.
08:06It was almost blinding to look at them.
08:09And what amazed me is there was no wind noise, no engine noise.
08:14There was silence.
08:18When it came past us, I'd developed the most peaceful, easy feeling I think I've ever had in my life.
08:26It was almost like a religious experience.
08:29Like I was at one with whatever it was.
08:32Something I've never had before or since then.
08:35It was unreal.
08:38And then another brief second, it just simply disappeared.
08:41It didn't streak off or anything.
08:43It just disappeared.
08:45And then you could count one second, two seconds, three seconds, and two F-16s came in hot pursuit, full
08:52afterburner, hanging out.
08:55And in my head, I'm wondering, is it War of the Worlds or what was going on?
09:01I got in my car and I went back to my house.
09:03And my wife says, what happened?
09:05And she could tell I was visibly shaken.
09:07I told her what happened.
09:09And she says, whatever you do, don't tell anybody about it.
09:12And she says, people think we're crazy.
09:14And I said, actually, I don't care what people think about us.
09:17All I know is what I saw.
09:20That next day, I called the newspaper, Stephenville Empire Tribune, E.T.
09:54It had been a slow news day the day that the UFO story broke.
09:55And she came to my office and said, you're never going to believe this, but it was late in the
09:58afternoon.
09:59And we really had our stories together.
10:01So I was like, yeah, sure, check it out.
10:03And we'll talk about it tomorrow when I get to the office.
10:08I grew up in California.
10:10I got engaged.
10:12And my husband was in the dairy business and his family had come out here.
10:15So we got married and we moved.
10:18It was a startling change for me.
10:23As managing editor, I was responsible for all of the content.
10:27And I had a lot to prove.
10:28I was the youngest editor that had ever been hired to be the managing editor of the paper.
10:33I was the second female.
10:35And I was still seen as an outsider.
10:38So inside, I was dealing with a lot of insecurity, I think.
10:46The next morning, I picked up my paper and saw a UFO in huge font across the top of the
10:53paper.
10:55I just felt like the wind was just completely knocked out of me.
10:58I thought, this is the end of my career.
11:00Steve Allen, Mike Odom, and Lance Jones were out admiring a beautiful Texas sunset Tuesday evening
11:05when they saw something none of them can explain.
11:08I had a publisher at the time, and she was the one that told Angela,
11:11you're going with this tonight, and she changed the whole front page.
11:14She was the boss, she was the top dog, so she did whatever she wanted.
11:17But I was in charge of the newsroom, and so I felt like people were going to question my credibility,
11:22my news judgment.
11:23The ship wasn't really visible, and it was totally silent.
11:26But the light spanned about a mile and a half long and a mile and a half wide.
11:30That really sent me over the edge, too.
11:32I mean, aside from the headline, just the ship.
11:34Like, we were naturally assuming that this was some kind of a spaceship out there.
11:40When I walked through those doors, I was like a crazy woman.
11:42I was furious.
11:44I remember walking into the publisher's office, and I was screaming and crying.
11:47I mean, like, you have, what have you done?
11:49She was like, well, you're wrong.
11:51You're absolutely wrong about all of this.
11:53We've sold out every newspaper in the county.
11:58When I started reading the story, my brain just goes to 100 miles an hour.
12:03I thought to myself, man, what I saw, other people saw it.
12:07You know, do I tell anybody?
12:09What do I do?
12:17It was my wife's birthday, and we wanted to rent a movie.
12:22And I came outside to my squad car to get my credit card.
12:28As I'm walking back, something caught my attention.
12:33I saw what appeared, I call it a bubble or an orb.
12:38It was a reddish-orange, fiery-looking color, really big.
12:44And I focused in on it, and that's when I noticed my little boy.
12:51And we said, look, Dad.
12:54It was these bright lights flashing like a pulsating thing, like that.
13:01They had spread out.
13:03There was 11 or 12 lights that I was able to count.
13:07All of a sudden, these things just shoot off at a blazing speed.
13:12Well, it was probably what seemed to be maybe a minute or two.
13:17I hear jets coming.
13:20They were flying in the same direction, the same path as these lights.
13:27You know, I think those jets were the same ones that Steve Allen saw.
13:32After the newspaper came out, I get the call from Leroy Gaten.
13:37I didn't know him at the time, but he told me his story,
13:40which time-wise matched exactly what ours did.
13:44And I said, Leroy, can you help us out with this a little bit?
13:47And he said, no, I can't.
13:49I'm sorry.
13:51I'm voted in by my peers to protect them.
13:55Just like the sheriff is.
13:56What are they going to think that I'm one of the guys that said, I saw these lights?
14:00I thought it was going to ruin me.
14:02And I said, I understand, but I said, come on, Leroy.
14:05I need somebody with a little credibility to add to it.
14:09He said, I saw something special, Leroy, and you did too.
14:11And I think the world needs to know.
14:14Somebody like Leroy Gaten has a lot to lose.
14:19I have a lot of respect for him because when I called, he hesitated a little bit.
14:24Then he said, no, I think it's important.
14:26He said that what we saw was really different.
14:29I just saw some strange lights traveling at a high rate of speed,
14:33doing some things that I've never seen anything before in my life.
14:37That was, I think, the first big county official that she was able to get
14:41that went on the record with it.
14:43Gave, really, the stories a lot of credibility.
14:52When I first heard about these reports,
14:54the first thing that went through my mind was, okay, something significant happened.
14:58Now, as to what happened, at that point, I didn't know.
15:01But it was definitely worth investigating.
15:04My degree's in chemistry.
15:06I was an engineering manager in the semiconductor field.
15:10And for the last 16 years, I have spent my time studying the UFO phenomenon.
15:16And my goal has always been to try to bring science to this subject.
15:22MUFON stands for the Mutual UFO Network.
15:26It's an organization that investigates UFO sightings.
15:31In 2008, I was the director of research at MUFON.
15:35And I remember I was monitoring reports as they came in,
15:40and I suddenly saw over 20 reports in one geographic area, Stephenville and Dublin.
15:46And I knew then that something unusual had happened.
15:51My view at that point in time was, we need to get there as soon as possible and investigate this
15:57while everyone's memory is fresh.
16:01We were contacted by MUFON, and I'd never heard of MUFON, but they wanted to set up an investigation.
16:08And so we said, well, we've got the road rebuilding, and you're welcome to come in here.
16:15I'm a chairman of the board of the First National Bank of Dublin.
16:20My grandfather was mayor of Dublin in the 30s, and then my dad was mayor, my brother was mayor.
16:29So, yeah, we've been in Erath County in this area for a long time.
16:34Investigators from the Mutual UFO Network plan to look into the Stephenville sightings this weekend.
16:41I was setting things up, and the guy said, 35 is probably max.
16:45I don't know if we've ever had that many show up.
16:48We set up 35, 40 chairs there, and then the door opens up, and it's like it just filled up.
16:57Hundreds of people crowded Dublin's Rotary Club to share their stories.
17:01What I saw was a very large blue light.
17:05They were big round objects.
17:07You can't see through it. You can't see in it.
17:09It was going so fast, and it didn't make any noise.
17:14Hi, ma'am.
17:14Hi, Peter.
17:15The building was packed.
17:17There were people even outside on the sidewalk.
17:20Some of the people who had come, they just turned around and walked off.
17:23They didn't even want to deal with the number of people there.
17:26At least 500 people filled the room, witnesses who saw the light.
17:30The MUFON folks were kind of just taken back because they've never seen anything like this.
17:35In an extremely small number of cases where we get a mass sighting like this.
17:40We put all those chairs out, and there was still people standing around the room.
17:45Or if I could see a show of hands who the witnesses are.
17:48It was like everybody there had seen something.
17:51We're approaching 100 people probably that have seen something in regard to this.
17:56The Houston papers that are there, the Dallas papers, the papers from outside of Texas.
18:01The best way I can describe it was a media circus.
18:05The next day or two, we were just inundated with media from all over the country.
18:09Dozens of people in a small Texas town are talking about some unexpected visitors.
18:14Do you guys believe in UFOs?
18:16Yes.
18:16Think it's possible?
18:17Yes.
18:17I realized that the entire city had totally transformed.
18:22The skies over Stephenville haven't looked the same since a UFO reportedly made tracks across it January 8th.
18:29Stephenville, the North Texas town, is swept up in UFO mania.
18:33They had Japanese film crews, Brazilian film crews.
18:37The Japanese film crews asked, why does it keep coming to Stephenville?
18:41Then jokingly, I said, well, it's the milk capital of the world.
18:44They said, oh, they like milk.
18:48Da, eerie.
18:49No wonder they're kind of gray and sickly looking.
18:52Vitamin D deficiencies.
18:54Got milk.
18:55The high school science club designed a t-shirt and made $4,000.
19:02I can't even believe it.
19:03Aluminum foil hats to ward off alien mind probes.
19:06Nice look, guy.
19:08People are really having a good time with this thing.
19:10It's the most excitement Stephenville's had in a long time, so it probably won't end here.
19:14I'm 19.
19:18One evening, my husband and I happened to go out to dinner at a restaurant and it was packed.
19:22And all of a sudden, the TVs came on and there was, there they were.
19:28They were dancing around and they were flickering.
19:31Tonight's strange sights in the night skies over Texas fuel otherworldly questions.
19:37When that came on, there was just a hush.
19:40Everybody just was riveted.
19:42Angela Joyner, staff writer for the Empire Tribune, who has talked to several witnesses.
19:46Very similar stories from people that have called in and emailed me.
19:51So I think there's been a lot of consistency in the spottings.
19:56Angela did not treat the story like it was a fun and game story.
19:59She, she took it serious from the very beginning.
20:01After doing the first story, I did get a little spooked.
20:05I thought, oh my gosh, this is bigger than, than what I even dreamed it could be.
20:14It was nice that people were calling me going, hey, I saw the front page and it was saying Dublin
20:19and it's kind of like, wow, that's great.
20:21But then at the same time, people, there's some that just love to ridicule.
20:26They love to kind of knock somebody off their horse.
20:29There was some radio stations out of Fort Worth, came down and, and basically just to make fun, you know.
20:36They took my job, they took my wife, but they're not getting my pickup truck.
20:40It was people that showed up just to try to discredit these folks.
20:45When one of those old green monsters start walking up here, then I'll believe it.
20:49And so, uh, when these sightings started taking place, we saw it, but we didn't really say a whole lot
20:55about it.
21:04You know, it was starting to get a little dark.
21:06It was about this time of night.
21:07My friend Kent was telling us this story about something that he saw a few days before.
21:13I looked up and I'm saying, ah, that's just not normal for me.
21:18He saw this, um, this huge, um, he called it a Dorito.
21:24Looked like a triangle or a, I said originally a Dorito.
21:28He, um, stands up and he's stretching his back and all of a sudden he goes, they're back.
21:35And I said, who's back?
21:38And he just points, I see this big triangular vessel, but what's amazing is there's no sound.
21:47There is no sound whatsoever.
21:48I couldn't process what I was seeing because it was huge.
21:53And you just look and you think, what is that thing?
21:57And then all of a sudden it's gone, almost like it just vanished.
22:04I was not scared, but it was almost where I'm thinking, beginning to doubt myself.
22:11Did I even see anything?
22:13And it was like the next day, it's like, don't tell anybody.
22:18When you sit there and you say, yeah, I just saw this, this vessel, or I saw these lights.
22:26Well, who do we tell about it?
22:28And if we did, what kind of flack are we going to take?
22:37What we don't understand is we try to explain it on that side, but our culture is also very
22:43open to accepting things that we don't necessarily see or that we understand.
22:49We don't focus all the time on the facts, like here in the United States.
22:54What inexplicable doesn't necessarily mean that it's not a reality or a fact.
23:02In 2008, what I saw were lights in the sky.
23:05The neat thing about it was that when I saw those, I remembered that they were exactly
23:10the same as the first time I saw them, because I saw them the first time as a teenager.
23:22We were originally from Mexico, and for Christmas break, we were getting ready to travel to
23:27Michoacan in Mexico with our family.
23:31My mother, the evening before, was on the dairy farm, and she says, I was out there feeding
23:36the calves, and these lights were appearing up in the sky like bubbles.
23:40You know, could it be evil spirits or something, because we tend to be a very superstitious culture.
23:46And so when she saw those, she was very much startled, and she was afraid.
23:50That next day that we were on our way to travel to Mexico, we were in our vehicle already loaded
23:55up and headed out, and these lights started coming up, and then my mom said, those are
24:00the ones I saw yesterday, and me and my sister and my other sibling saw those at that time.
24:07It wasn't something that we could explain.
24:10All I know is that what I saw in 1989 was the same thing that again I saw in 2008.
24:19We were coming back from Fort Worth, me and my husband.
24:21About this time in the evening, we could see the lights up in this area.
24:28It was like they would bubble in one spot and then bubble in another spot, and it was too
24:32fast for any airplane or helicopter to do.
24:39As we're looking up, I'm hanging out the door with my camera, trying to take pictures of
24:45it.
24:45But the camera, it just wasn't fast enough to be able to take those pictures, and then
24:51they were gone.
24:55I do believe that when people come to our area, it's for a reason.
24:59If they're here, why are they here?
25:03Today, we're going to be talking about Don Quixote.
25:05Who's familiar with Don Quixote?
25:07I love working with students.
25:09I've always told them, you have a mind of your own.
25:11You need to see what information A and information B has.
25:14Not going against their parents or going against any type of doctrine, but just to be informed.
25:22We was very driven to find out what it was that we saw.
25:26The more we dug into it, I kept developing more questions than answers.
25:32I don't have enough nerve to call the NAS, the Naval Air Station.
25:37Angela, she did.
25:38She had called in there and talked to Major Carl Lewis.
25:42I called him to check out, were there F-16s in the area?
25:48He said, no, we did not have any F-16s in the area.
25:52The Air Force says none of its planes were in the area at the time of the sightings.
25:57Angela told me that.
25:58And he'd come back with all kinds of excuses what we thought we might have seen.
26:02One excuse was a reflection off of a high altitude jet airliner.
26:07And she says, what do you think about that?
26:09And I said, it's a reflection off of my shiny white ass.
26:13I was really worried about Steve Allen.
26:16You could tell he was just haggard.
26:18His wife told me he was on the internet constantly looking for pictures, trying to find something
26:25that looked like what he had seen.
26:30I told my wife that several of us was going to get our airplanes and go look for it.
26:34And she, of course, didn't like that idea.
26:37But, you know, it's like telling a kid to do something.
26:40We're going to do what we want to.
26:47Our first thought was we hoped we would find where it was based out of,
26:50because it appeared out of nowhere.
26:55We explored all possibilities.
26:57We combed the whole area.
27:00Then on about the third night,
27:04we were talking to each other on the radio.
27:06And I said, do you guys ever feel like you're looking for a needle in a haystack?
27:12What I saw happen in Steve is the same thing I've seen happen in a lot of witnesses.
27:17You've got this feeling of control.
27:20And then suddenly you see something close to you and it does something that is so
27:28impossible that it just shakes the underpinnings of what they have always thought the world was.
27:36Ricky Sorrells was deer hunting in these woods when he says the UFO stopped and hovered just over
27:41his head.
27:42And I did just like this and I could see it.
27:45Ricky Sorrells has a very interesting story.
27:48Ricky actually had a UFO sighting almost two weeks, roughly, before the Stephen Bill minutes.
27:59I met Ricky personally and he told me the story of what happened.
28:05He was out deer hunting.
28:06All of a sudden, everything got dark, like clouds had come overhead.
28:12Well, he looked up and there was an object above him.
28:15He couldn't tell its size or its shape because it was so large that it just covered everything
28:23above him.
28:24He raised his rifle up and looked at it through the scope so he could get a better view of
28:29it.
28:30And he says, I looked it over and there was no bolts, no rivets.
28:34And it just seemed seamless all over it.
28:36And that's all he could see.
28:38And he says, I started to go ahead and shoot it.
28:41But he got to thinking that wasn't the smartest thing I'd ever done.
28:44Ricky Sorrells didn't want to start an interstellar war.
28:47And when it took off, it took off so fast, if I would have blinked, I would have thought it
28:51vanished.
28:52He said, you know, the amazing thing is that this huge object that took off at such a high speed,
28:58it should have just sucked me right along with it.
29:01And he said, there was nothing, no sound, no wind, nothing.
29:06Somehow, that object didn't interact with the atmosphere.
29:14There was one morning, Ricky came to my house.
29:17And Ricky is in tears.
29:20I mean, I asked him, man, what's going on?
29:22He said, Leroy, people are harassing me at my own house.
29:27Who's harassing you?
29:28He said, I don't know.
29:29He said, they tell me that they work for the government.
29:34Ricky was definitely being intimidated.
29:45He found a bullet.
29:46It was definitely military grade.
29:49He thinks they may have left that on purpose to persuade him not to be speaking about it.
29:54The next thing I know, he is calling me.
29:58He said, something's going on.
30:00Somebody's bothering me.
30:01I'm having all these helicopters flying over my place.
30:06They are running my cattle to death.
30:10And he came to me out of concern for my safety.
30:15Angela, assuming that Ricky is not nuts, what do you make of this?
30:20Well, I feel that perhaps Ricky might have been singled out simply because he was the one that
30:29had a daytime sighting. He had more detail than anyone else. And I wondered if that might be why
30:36he was singled out.
30:41Suddenly, Ricky starts talking to everybody. I think Ricky saw a lot more than what the rest of us saw.
30:48Ricky has said he saw some sort of something inside the aircraft, and it resembled some sort of insect,
30:56or maybe even a praying mantis.
31:00I think that Ricky was possibly approached by someone and offered a monetary agreement.
31:11Nate wanted him quiet.
31:13A military colonel called me one afternoon at my house and talked to me about an hour and 45 minutes.
31:19He says, we've had a lot of discussion about you and what to do with you.
31:23You're kind of a high-profile guy. If you just was happening to come up missing,
31:28it kind of looks suspicious.
31:32They're all going against the wind. The wind's 120 miles from the west.
31:36I found myself watching the footage over and over again, almost obsessively.
31:46I had no awareness of what the upper chain of command was doing with this information.
31:53In 2017, I transferred to the Office of Naval Intelligence. I was going to be an analyst there.
32:02And shortly after I arrived, I started to have these follow-on experiences with the phenomenon.
32:14That was like the beginning of seeing non-human entities in my room at night.
32:26I would wake up several times a week and I would feel my body kind of sliding across the bed.
32:35And I knew that they were taking me.
32:38I woke up because I felt a hand grab my arm right here.
32:46So I went to try and raise my hands to my face to wipe the sleep away.
32:51And I realized I couldn't move. And I could just see this outline of a shadowy figure with,
33:02you know, a torso, two arms and a head standing over me.
33:10When I was in the Navy and I saw this footage, I knew that there was something out there, right?
33:16I knew there was something non-human out there. So I knew when they started showing up in my room
33:21that
33:22all of this was real. I had the luxury of knowing that I wasn't going crazy.
33:29I knew what it was.
33:40There's all kinds of sensor evidence, radar evidence.
33:45I think that there's enough footage that if they just released all of it and said,
33:50hey, this is what we have, they don't even have to give an explanation and just say,
33:54we don't know. This is what we got. Um, there would be no, no doubt as to whether or not
34:02the
34:03phenomenon is real. Everyone would know it.
34:06The U.S. military is now saying it was fighter jets, not UFOs that folks were seeing in the
34:12Stephenville area earlier this month. The military now says it was training in the area after all.
34:1910 F-16s over the Brownwood military operating area.
34:22The military spokesman blames an internal communications error for giving out false information.
34:31There was no more new sightings. We were clearly not going to get an answer from the government or
34:36what this could have been. So unless we have something new and significant to report about it,
34:41we need to get on to other things.
34:44It was a hard thing for Angela. She really had a hard time letting go of it and breaking away
34:49from it.
34:50I just couldn't abandon those witnesses. They were thrust into the limelight just like I was.
34:58Plus, it was shaking them to their very core about what they had seen.
35:04I had given her an assignment and I had this feeling that she wasn't doing it that day.
35:08And she left and I got on her computer and discovered some emails that she had sent saying that the
35:15newspaper and the management here, me specifically, I had gotten pressure to shut it down from the
35:20government and the city officials. And I was pretty upset about that because none of that was true.
35:28Very strange story with Angela. She came into work one morning and her computer was gone.
35:34And she says, hey, what happened to my computer and my stuff? And they told her she didn't work there
35:39anymore.
35:40Was it a termination? Yes. But also, she didn't want to be there anymore. She wanted to continue this.
35:45And that was a story that I was happy to move on from.
35:49If you look at the UFO phenomenon, it's gone on for 75 years in the modern era.
35:56And yet today, we still don't know much more than we knew 75 years ago.
36:04That's troubling for many in the field of science because there's no crystal clear, solid evidence.
36:12And that's the mystery of this phenomenon is like, where is the evidence?
36:30That's a story.
36:34Three o'clock in the morning, I'd been out working a moonlighting job in Stephenville.
36:41There's an alarm call at this business.
36:44I went ahead and advised the sheriff department that I was close by would take the call.
36:48And when I get out of the car, I look and I see a pulsating orb up in the sky.
36:57Got my dash cam and positioned it, trying to videotape this object.
37:03I took the video home. Back then it was VHS and put it in my player at home.
37:19It was not a clear video. It was like something was interfering the quality.
37:26I said, man, why is this tape messing up right now of all times?
37:30I'd never had a problem before that with any video. After that, I used that camera at least
37:37another year and a half before I went digital. Never had a problem like that.
37:42Whatever this thing was, whoever was responsible for it did not want clear footage of it.
37:53I wanted to find corroboration with the object seen by Leroy and Steve and all the other witnesses
37:59in Stephenville on January 2008. I had the witness statements. I knew the when and the where
38:08and the direction they were looking. At the MUFON event, I met a guy from Colorado,
38:15Glenn Schultz, and Glenn was a former army radar expert.
38:21Anything that flies in the sky is caught with what's called primary radar data.
38:28So I wanted radar data to support what to the witnesses it told me.
38:33The FAA won't volunteer those returns because they say nothing happened. So you have to send a
38:39Freedom of Information Act request in and force them to release the data.
38:43I sent FOIAs to every police department, to every military base. And the one FOIA that panned out the
38:51best was the FOIA to the FAA, which provided me with radar data from five different radar antenna
38:57across the state of Texas. Glenn Schultz and I went four months to go through the radar data.
39:05Before I went looking for any unknowns, first thing I did was track the F-16s.
39:10Two F-16s came in hot pursuit. They were flying in the same direction as these lights.
39:17These are the two that flew down to Comanche, Dublin, Stephenville. So once I identified where the F-16s
39:23were, I wanted to start looking for objects that did not have transponders. So I wanted to see
39:30everything that was not supposed to be in the sky. I get to where Steve is, so I'm looking there,
39:38and do I see any unknowns that are popping up that match what he described?
39:45What I find is radar data that confirms what Steve Allen and Leroy Gaten have told me.
39:54Steve Allen came out here to have a campfire, and all of a sudden, I see some high intensity
39:59lights headed at a high velocity of speed. Steve is located here. There are two radar points
40:06that showed an object moving without a transponder. When we first saw the ship,
40:11it was just a few minutes after six. The two data points match the time and the geographical location.
40:21It does its flame job over Stephenville. It just simply disappears.
40:25This is outside of the military operating area, so it should have a transponder if it is military
40:30aircraft, but it doesn't. In the case of Leroy, I had about five data points on the radar indicating
40:38there is this object south of his home. I came outside. Something caught my attention off to the
40:46southwest sky. All of a sudden, these things just shoot off at a blazing speed, and they travel,
40:55what I say, northeast. When he says it moves to the northeast, I get a data point 10 seconds later
41:02that's to the northeast and is moving at an extreme rate of speed. It's not very often that
41:10you get radar data that just corroborates exactly what a witness said in terms of geographic location
41:17and time. It showed it in black and white that there was something flying out there and that the
41:23speeds that these things are traveling are like speeds that we cannot do here on Earth. These stories
41:30check out with the radar data, so there's absolutely no doubt that there's an object in the sky and that
41:36the object that's in the sky does not have a transponder code. That tells you that you're dealing
41:42with something real, whatever it is.
41:48When you need a boost, try milk.

41:54receive it will no longer be an alien to the rest of the world.

42:14Is any of this stuff real? I don't know. I mean...
42:19I think UFOs are just as real as, you know, the lights in this room or
42:26or the cameras that are in front of me. I think that, uh, I think they are very real,
42:33but I think what is your idea of reality? That's the question.
42:38You see that the DOD and NASA, even, they're all hiring physicists to work on this UFO issue,
42:49and that's not where the truth of this lies.
42:52This lies more within the realm of the humanities, within the realm of psychology, philosophy,
43:02religious studies.
43:04That's where you're going to find the truth of this.
43:07No physicist is going to be able to tell you what this is.
43:13Because the physicist maybe can tell you how physical matter might behave,
43:20but the humanities will tell you why.
43:23It's not a, it's not a Department of Defense issue.
43:28It's a, it's a human issue is what it is.
43:34And that's why I could not justify being quiet.

44:22What was it that Ezekiel was seeing?
44:25Not the message part.
44:27Get the message part.
44:29Nobody saw.
44:30Behold, a wheel suddenly came to the earth,
44:36and the rims were full of, translate this for me,
44:41eyes all the way around.
44:45Eyes or lights.
44:46Lights or anything, really.
44:49Windows or, right?
44:51To me, I think that talking about UFOs with my kids,
44:54even the littlest ones, is making scripture a lot more real for them
44:58than just a bunch of stories.
45:01This was Switzerland, and some guy just got this on video.
45:04It's a UFO.
45:05What does that look like right there?
45:07It's a wheel within a wheel.
45:08That was two days ago.
45:10The Christian populace does not want to believe that any of this is real,
45:15because if it does, it changes all of their reality.
45:18You know, then is the Bible just for us?
45:21Or is it for them, too?
45:27That's a million-dollar question is,
45:30where does life and other planets and religion fit together?
45:36If somebody were to ask me, did God make other
45:43creatures, I'd say yes.
45:46When Kent was telling us this story, I was the typical jerk,
45:51giving him a hard time, saying,
45:53here's a guy that just saw a flying Dorito.
45:58And when we all looked up and saw this thing,
46:01all of a sudden it changed us in a way that we look at both sides of the story more.
46:08Now when I hear people tell stories of things they see,
46:12I am not a doubting Thomas.
46:14I'm thinking, you know, they saw something.
46:17I know they did.
46:18Or why would they be saying this?
46:21Of course, psychology today would tell you that,
46:25hey, if you're experiencing these things,
46:27you're seeing things in your room at night,
46:29that you're schizophrenic or you have some kind of other severe mental illness.
46:37And to me, that's not correct.
46:40That's not right.
46:43When I made the decision to talk about this, to leave the Navy,
46:47I was four years away from retirement,
46:50which would have meant, you know, a pension, health insurance for the rest of my life.
46:55You know, and I left that all on the table and I walked away from it.
47:01Because this isn't just about me, right?
47:04It's not about me at all.
47:06It's about all of us.
47:10It's about everybody.
47:16Don Quixote is one of my favorite novels.
47:19And in it, Don Quixote is a madman.
47:21And everything that he sees, he sees in a different light.
47:24Don Quixote sees these windmills.
47:27But in his mind, they're not windmills.
47:30They're giants.
47:31We know that we're not mad.
47:33We know that there is something credible to this,
47:35because too many people saw these lights in the sky.
47:39And so we're not a Don Quixote.
47:44There's more to this.
47:46You can argue, well, it was some secret U.S. black project, right?
47:52But our technologies don't just suddenly leap across a hundred years of technology.
47:59They're gradually created.
48:04In this case, I think whatever people saw was intelligently controlled.
48:09And it was not manufactured by the United States or any other nation for that matter.
48:19So about nine months later, I was driving my daughter to gymnastics in Dublin.
48:25And I saw some lights.
48:30I pulled over to the side of the road.
48:32And I just stopped and looked out my front window.
48:35And they kind of were blinking or kind of coming in and out of focus.
48:38And then they kind of came together cohesively and just sort of disappeared.
48:44I just was so shaken and so shocked.
48:46I thought, my gosh, I'm seeing what everybody's been talking about for all this time.
48:53It felt like the universe was sort of playing a trick on me.
48:56Like, I balked at the story so hard in the beginning and for so long.
49:00And then, you know, months later, you know, it was sort of like, well, you know, here it is.
49:10I can't believe all of the wonderful people I've met, and that's the good of UFO reporting.
49:17I've loved every minute of it, and I hope that I'm going to be doing this for a long time.
49:30If I could talk to Angela again, I would tell her how brave she was for understanding
49:35that there was a story there to be told.
49:38And I certainly wish that we had parted ways differently.
49:42If my biggest regret of all is that.
49:52Our business suffered because I was chasing the unidentified object that we saw.
49:59So it put an undue strain on our relationship and her as well.
50:03And after 17 years of being together and married, we ended up getting a divorce.
50:10My relationship suffered, my company suffered, I suffered.
50:14I still consider it a blessing that I did see it, and it's forever in my mind.
50:20I'm still on my quest, still, to this day.
50:23I will find out what happened.
