00:01The General Epistle of Jude, King James Version, read by Justin Bible.
00:08May God bless you with an unquenchable thirst for his holy word, the Bible.
00:16Jude, Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to them that are sanctified
00:23by God the Father and preserved in Jesus Christ and called, mercy unto you and peace and love
00:30be multiplied.
00:32Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful
00:37for me to write unto you and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which
00:42was once delivered unto the saints.
00:44For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation,
00:51ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness and denying the only Lord God
00:58and our Lord Jesus Christ.
01:00I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having
01:06saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
01:12And the angels, which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved
01:18in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
01:22Even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over
01:28to fornication and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the
01:34vengeance of eternal fire.
01:36Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
01:44Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses,
01:51durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said,
01:54The Lord rebuke thee.
01:57But these speak evil of those things which they know not, but what they know naturally
02:02as fruit beasts, and those things they corrupt themselves.
02:07Woe unto them!
02:08For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward.
02:14And perished in the gainsaying of Corrie.
02:17These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves
02:23without fear.
02:24Clouds they are without water, carried about of winds.
02:29Trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots.
02:35Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame.
02:39Wondering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
02:45And Enoch also the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying,
02:49Behold the Lord cometh, with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all,
02:56and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds, which they
03:01have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches, which ungodly sinners have spoken
03:06against him.
03:07These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts, and their mouth speaketh
03:15great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
03:20But beloved, remember ye the words which are spoken before of the apostles of our Lord
03:26Jesus Christ, how that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should
03:31walk after their own ungodly lusts.
03:34These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the spirit.
03:40But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
03:46keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto eternal
03:53life, and of some, have compassion, making a difference, and others, saved with fear, pulling
04:02them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
04:08Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before
04:13the presence of his glory, with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and
04:20majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.
04:25Amen.
04:26The end of the General Epistle of Jude, King James Version, read by Justin Bible.
04:33May God bless you with an unquenchable thirst for his holy word, the Bible.
