00:01The Epistle of Paul to Philemon, King James Version, read by Justin Bible.
00:08May God bless you with an unquenchable thirst for his holy word, the Bible.
00:16Philemon
00:18Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved
00:24and fellow laborer, and to our beloved Apthea, and Archippus our fellow soldier,
00:30and to the church in thy house.
00:31Grace to you and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
00:37I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, hearing of thy love and faith,
00:43which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints, that the communication of
00:48thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ
00:53Jesus.
00:54For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are
01:00refreshed by thee, brother.
01:02Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ, to enjoin thee that which is convenient, yet
01:08for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also
01:14a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
01:16I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds, which in time past
01:22was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me, whom I have sent again.
01:28Thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels, whom I would have retained with me,
01:35that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel.
01:39But without thy mind would I do nothing, that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity,
01:46but willingly.
01:47For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him forever, not
01:54now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother, beloved, specially to me, but how much more
02:02unto thee, both in the flesh and in the Lord.
02:05If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.
02:10If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee aught, put that on mine account.
02:15I, Paul, have written it with mine own hand.
02:18I will repay it, albeit I do not say to thee, how thou owest unto me even thine own self
02:24besides.
02:25Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee and the Lord.
02:29Refresh my bowels in the Lord.
02:31Having confidence in thy obedience, I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more
02:38than I say.
02:39But withal prepare me also a lodging, for I trust that through your prayers I shall be
02:44given unto you.
02:46There salute thee, Ephraifres, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas,
02:54Lucas, my fellow laborers.
02:56The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
02:59Amen.
