00:00This is the living room. It's the space we actually use the most. Myself and my husband and our kids
00:06spend all of our evenings in here, so we really wanted to be quite cosy and inviting. There's a lot
00:11of men in this house, so I'm always trying to kind of balance the masculine and feminine energy. Because of
00:16all the boys, I basically feel like I need to have a lot of female fuss and art, and you
00:20can see that almost as a team as we journey through the house.
00:25This is the kitchen. I love to cook, and I have a big family, and we have lots of people
00:29over here a lot of the time. We have really young kids and a dog, so I love this idea
00:34of the floorboards being really scuffed and aged already. I think that's what's great about these old homes. You don't
00:38have to be too precious, and particularly how we live, we love to just be relaxed and enjoy the space.
00:48And this is the drawing room of the house, so it actually goes over the full width, and the hallway
00:54and the living room are below. There's so many pieces in this room that I absolutely love, or I've been
00:59collecting for such a long time. You know, it's a bit of a fantasy room that maybe, you know, you're
01:03having cocktails for in the evening or having big get-togethers, and I love this idea that there's all these
01:07kind of unexpected, whimsical moments.
01:11And this is our bedroom. I really wanted it to be kind of an escape, and just filled with a
01:17little bit of whimsy and magic, and we love to watch the sunrise here in the morning.
01:23And this was a kind of domed 18th century bed I had seen, a kind of classical style. I've always
01:29wanted a four-poster bed.
01:30The bathroom design started with this Regency sideboard that I bought at an auction maybe five years ago.
01:36Even though it looks very beautiful, the vanity, actually all the mirrors kind of hide its hidden storage, so it's
01:41possibly the most practical bathroom I've ever designed, which I'm quite proud of.
