00:10The first thing that your guests need and deserve when they come to your house is a drink. So I
00:15tend to take them straight from the front door over to the bar where I can furnish them with
00:18an appropriate cocktail. This room is kind of the living room slash sitting room slash
00:23bar room, whatever you need it to be at any given time. It's got this kind of lovely lobster color
00:29on the walls, which was actually the last color I settled on when doing up this house with my
00:33great friend, Benedict Foley, who helped me with the whole scheme. So this is the kitchen dining area,
00:40which is painted in possibly my favorite name for any paint of all time ever, Fake Tan by Farron Ball,
00:47which creates this incredible color that changes throughout the day in the morning. If you're
00:50having breakfast or if you're just sitting here working, it's a really nice, soft, easy on the
00:55eye pink, which is exactly what you want first thing in the morning. And as the day goes on,
00:59it casts a very nice gold glow over the room, which is perfect if you're hosting. It really
01:05is the room in the house you can sit in for the longest because it's very relaxing. Lunch parties
01:10often roll into dinner parties as all the best kind of entertaining should. I love having fun little bits
01:16and bobs on the table that you can use as conversation starters and like comic entertainment as you
01:22remember to take the food out the oven. I particularly love this little salt shell. It's quite nice to be
01:27able
01:27to say past the shell. This room I rather grandly call my library, mainly because it's just where
01:33I store all my books and also because I really like the idea of having a library in my house.
01:37It's a really, really cozy, comfortable room and it really lends itself to sort of after dinner
01:42shenanigans. Now it's really important before your guests arrive to do some finishing touches.
01:46So with that in mind, I'm going to park these glorious pink guys into this candelabra
01:51and wait for my friends to arrive. Oh, and that's the bell.
