00:00Yankees looks like 20 games plus I can't believe I'm going to say this but the strength of the team
00:06is the pitching staff it's kind of weird right I mean yeah that's kind of what it's turned into
00:12a bunch of young arms going out there and showing off and I mean you know Garrett Cole really hasn't
00:18even been kind of in the mix either so from that standpoint they're probably just going to get
00:22better we see let's kind of run into some early issues with you know you know getting damaged
00:26after an injury and that that can sometimes happen but yeah I think the pitching staff is
00:31ultimately going to be where this team lives and dies this year which is a different dynamic than
00:36years past because of injuries or underperformance and the line of eventually you would have to think
00:41I don't think that there's going to be a lot of guys hitting sub 200 on the bottom you know
00:45half
00:46of it like the way they are right now so I think eventually it's going to be a little bit
00:50more
00:50balanced and yeah it kind of feels like they're a true contender and a lot of it hinges on that
00:55pitching staff you know I'm a Yankee fan but at the end of the day here Aaron Judge do you
01:01agree
01:01with me when I say that listen if you want to go down as one of the greatest Yankees of
01:05all time
01:06and you want to be out there in Monument Park and you're Aaron Judge I mean listen you know I'm
01:11going to go back and Dave Winfield was a really great player for the Yankees Don Mattingly was a
01:17great player for the Yankees but if you really want to hold and be held in high esteem there as
01:22a
01:22Yankee you got to win World Series championships that's still the one thing on top of the cake here
01:27for him the cherry on top of the cake here for him that he's got to accomplish in New York
01:32100% and and you know I think you'd even be the one of the first ones to admit it
01:36that in
01:37playoff series when you look at them in kind of their individual vacuums not the playoffs in total
01:42he hasn't been the best player in enough of those series to make the big mash type of difference
01:48and from that standpoint yeah I I think that's when the best players are supposed to show up
01:52you know Mr. October everything that we you know every single story that's kind of written in the
01:58stars whether it's our pools in St. Louis or Clayton Kershaw you know figuring it out for the Dodgers
02:03eventually on the back end you got to show up when it matters and and yeah I think a lot
02:07of Yankees
02:08fans and even Aaron Judge himself are just kind of fiending for that moment it's not always been his
02:13fault but certainly the pitching is there this year this might feel like the year to get it done
02:19no doubt when I was a young kid man breakfast lunch and dinner were Reggie bars when I was a
02:25kid so
02:26you got it you got to win that here
