00:00All right, let's go to, uh, college football.
00:02College football. Let's do this.
00:04Okay, so there's three huge games this year...
00:08uh, this weekend.
00:09We have the number one, Miami Hurricanes...
00:12Yep.
00:12...playing North Carolina.
00:14My Miami Hurricanes.
00:16They're looking...
00:17Oh, man, they creamed Pittsburgh last... last week.
00:20They put up over 50 points.
00:21They have two Heisman candidates
00:23and quarterback Darien Mensah, who is...
00:26who... Darien Mensah quarterback
00:28is completing 80% of his passes.
00:31If he can maintain that, that would be a record.
00:33Eight out of every ten passes.
00:35And then you have the wide receiver, Malakai Toney,
00:38who, by the way, got signed by Red Bull, your friends.
00:41Oh!
00:41So now Red Bull's signing, uh, football players,
00:44and this guy's the future.
00:45He has over 1,200...
00:47No, he doesn't have 1,200 yards yet,
00:49but he's-he's gonna probably break
00:51his own single-season record
00:52of the most yards and the Hurricanes.
00:55So they're gonna be playing North Carolina,
00:56who's the head coach.
00:57Bill Belichick.
00:58Yes.
00:58Bill Belichick and his team...
00:59With a checkered record so far.
01:01With a... but they're doing better this year.
01:03Yeah.
01:03And, um, supposedly, that crazy girlfriend that he has...
01:06Is gone?
01:06No, she-but she knows not to chime in on the sidelines.
01:09She was kinda, like, taking over.
01:10It was the talk of the season, last season,
01:12to see a coach that has been considered
01:15one of the most serious coaches in the NFL history,
01:18winning everything with the Patriots,
01:20going to college football, and becoming a hot mess,
01:23dating a young 20-something lady...
01:2623, 24-year-old girl.
01:26...23, 23 years old, viejo...
01:29And she-but she's kinda running the show.
01:30So a couple other really big games that we have...
01:33Yeah.
01:33Oh, and by the way, in the Miami-North Carolina thing,
01:35I mean, it could be a trap game for Miami,
01:37because the following week, they go to Notre Dame
01:39and play Notre Dame.
01:40That's gonna be one of the biggest games of the year.
01:42So can Miami maintain that disappearing mentality
01:44to not fall into the trap of overlooking North Carolina?
01:47Now, locally, a big game, uh,
01:50that's gonna involve an, uh, L.A. team
01:52is USC versus Ohio State.
01:54Ohio State is ranked...
01:55Big game.
01:55I believe Ohio State is ranked number two.
01:58And you were asking me on a previous show,
02:00how could they be ranked so high with one loss?
02:02Well, because I believe their one loss, uh, was...
02:05Is it Texas?
02:06Uh, Polo, you're a-you're off camera.
02:08Okay, I don't have that on my mind,
02:10but basically, their strength of schedule was really high.
02:12They're playing a really, you know, uh, um, tough schedule.
02:15And USC might be the team to bring them down as well,
02:19because USC is...
02:20There's a lot of pressure on USC to perform.
02:22Lincoln Riley, I believe, is the head coach.
02:24If he doesn't get USC to the, uh, playoffs this year,
02:27he might be done.
02:28Because you... I mean, who doesn't want to coach in USC?
02:31Yeah.
02:31You know what I'm saying? You're-you're playing in-in-in L.A.
02:34It's probably one of the hottest markets.
02:35Although, UCLA right now is playing really...
02:37They're amazing. They're undefeated.
02:38...really well.
02:38They're undefeated.
02:40So, and one more big game I want to point out.
02:42It's a big rivalry game.
02:43It's gonna be number two Georgia.
02:45No, number three Georgia. Uh, Georgia's ranked number three.
02:47They're gonna be playing against number 17 Florida Gators,
02:49another Florida team.
02:50Your team?
02:51Yeah. Well, my team is Miami,
02:53but I always cheer for Florida Gators.
02:54Outside of Miami, I'll cheer for Florida.
02:56So, uh, I-I went to the Florida State University system.
02:58And I want to go into one of the most famous characters
03:02in college football, Coach Prime,
03:05Deion Sanders, in the head of Colorado.
03:09Oh, yeah, what do you say?
03:09Just recently, not performing really well.
03:12The starting quarterback, QB1,
03:14now in the crosshairs of being replaced,
03:16the coach came out and said,
03:17you know what, I don't play games with these kids.
03:19I-if they play-if they-if they play well,
03:22they will continue to play.
03:23If they're not doing the effort they want.
03:24Uh, what is your take on the season for Colorado?
03:27Look, co-Colorado,
03:29they-they don't have the-they should have the resources,
03:32but they don't really spend as much
03:33as other college teams when it comes to NIL.
03:35So, Deion Sanders is trying to sell the program
03:37based on him.
03:38Yeah.
03:38And he's an amazing guy.
03:40I-I do believe that he has a lot of amazing qualities
03:42for a college coach.
03:44But the problem is that he's competing against teams
03:46like Miami, Ohio State, Texas, Georgia, USC,
03:50that they're, you know, they're paying players bigger teams,
03:52bigger money.
03:53Um, but I-I, you know, I-I do like Colorado's chances
03:56in the long run.
03:57I hope they stick with Deion Sanders.
03:59Now, Deion Sanders has also been dealing with health issues.
04:02Yes.
04:02He has diabetes.
04:03He lost a couple of toes, apparently.
04:04And he was recovering from some big flare-up
04:07this past offseason.
04:08I think that once he gets his health back,
04:09he can recruit the way he did the first season,
04:12when he was able to recruit his son, Travis Hunter,
04:15and a couple other guys that are in the NFL.
04:16Influential players that are now finding a spot
04:19in the NFL, my friends.
04:20Yeah.
