Energy Minister Dr. Roodal Moonilal says, while the United National Congress was critical of the Dragon Gas Project under the Former PNM Administration, it never gave up on the actual project.

He notes that last year, they were able to attain an OFAC licence from the United States, and here's what he has to say about moving forward.

00:00And the Dragon Project is on the way. We are now in discussions with our partners to ensure that we
00:07bring up the timeline somewhat, given the start and stop experience we have had last year over some of the
00:13political and conflict-related issues.
00:15So the Dragon is on the way. Loran, Fokina, we are talking to our partners. We expect it's a work
00:22in progress. We expect in a few days, a few weeks or so, that we will be in Venezuela with
00:29a diplomatic mission discussing not only energy, but I imagine issues, other issues as well in other sectors with other
00:35relevant officials.
