00:10squeeze by us is that mike vrabel is now going to counseling i assume it's marital counseling
00:16they did not differentiate what type of counseling it is but he is now going to miss saturday's day
00:23three of the nfl draft so this is emergency counseling but if i may be the uh guy to ask
00:31the obvious questions uh-huh if this counseling that he's going to is a such an emergency right
00:37yeah why not go today why not go yesterday right right why skip day three of the nfl draft on
00:47saturday
00:47where the patriots have eight of their 11 picks in this year's draft when you could simply go on
00:54sunday or on monday when whatever therapy counseling session or counselor you're going to go to it just
01:02doesn't make sense if it's an emergency to get counseling then you go yesterday of course you
01:08check yourself in you walk into the therapy center and you sit down and you bury your soul right yeah
01:14or you go today so the fact that at 12 30 last night the new england patriots through and mike
01:21vrabel announced that he is going to be skipping day three of the nfl draft where the patriots have
01:28eight of their 11 picks tells you a couple of things there's a chance now that mike vrabel gets fired
01:35a and b the new england patriots and mike vrabel must be scared to death that something else is coming
01:43because they're trying to get ahead of whatever the next iteration of this story is whether that's
01:49other women whether that's more photographs with that and russini three photographs came out of the
01:54new york post early this morning none of them are all that objectionable other than it just lends
01:59more credence to the story of what was going on the three pictures you see two of them right there
02:04they are again lounging by the pool in one of them and then the other two they're eating breakfast alone
02:09at that resort the reason you go to counseling when you don't want to go to counseling or when
02:16someone says it's an emergency visit to a counselor is because you are worried about what's coming next
02:25meaning something else is coming next when it comes to mike vrabel and the new england patriots you
02:31know his hubris now pisses me off when the initial story came out they could have waited a little while
02:38talk to a pr person before they release that statement now think about what you just said
02:43about him doing counseling yeah during the nfl draft i want to be clear tonight's just one round right
02:49patriots have one pick tomorrow they do the second round and the third round they have and then on
02:56saturday they've got eight picks so they've got three picks in the next two days and then they have
03:02eight picks on saturday so you're telling me the head of the organization the head coach suddenly does
03:10not need to be in the draft room for eight of the patriots 11 picks because he needs emergency
03:19counseling for what's going on but it's not a big enough emergency to go yesterday to go today or to
03:26go tomorrow he can wait three days till saturday to go but he can wait four days and go on
03:34sunday
03:34that does not make sense doesn't make any sense and that initial statement where they said he said
03:40it was laughable laughable laughable now had he just been quiet then talk to a professional but this
03:47is how i know it was his hubris that makes them do that statement either his hubris or it's a
03:52lousy job
03:53by by the uh p the uh crisis management pr firm right that has uh tried to lead him and
03:59the
03:59patriots through all this right but go ahead one or the other but i believe it's his hubris and now
04:04weeks later because remember a couple weeks ago it was laughable because what he could have did if
04:11it was real was go to counseling then but it was laughable there correct now if you're a patriots fan
04:17or nfl fan the nfl draft is the the majority of the players when you make the super bowl you
04:22draft
04:23and then you fill in the rest with free agency the draft is most important for the good teams
04:28that's how to get the majority of their players and he's missing that but it was laughable two weeks
04:34ago yeah and i find it to be insulting well because it went from laughable when you thought you could
04:38get away with it uh and when nobody bought your excuses or your defenses to it and people started
04:44to research it suddenly uh when people realized that you had lied and you're obviously having this
04:50affair it became a lot less laughable and don't look at what and they consider what the patriots
04:56have tried to do here in the last couple days they uh tell the reporters that there's a couple players
05:01available to talk about the draft but they never tell them mike vrabel's available because uh they
05:06don't want the entirety of the boston or the national media showing up for the press conference he goes to
05:11the press conference that's 48 hours ago and 48 hours ago there's no conversation whatsoever about the
05:18fact that he might miss one of the three days of the draft correct and for them the day when
05:23they have
05:23the majority of their picks so what could have happened in the last 48 hours where they went from mike
05:30vrabel's back he's running things to uh-oh emergency counseling and now i'm going to miss day three of the
05:37draft something else is about to drop and they know it's about to drop and i'm not quite sure if
05:45mike
05:45vrabel is safe anymore as the head coach of the new ingham patriots
