00:00And in the midst of all this, all eyes are on the proposed East talks.
00:05Well, Iran has right now clarified that no Iranian delegation has travelled to Pakistan from their side.
00:12This is according to the state media.
00:15Iran's state news agency is now reporting that no delegation from Iran has travelled to Islamabad,
00:21which is in Pakistan of course, so far.
00:23And whether it is a primary delegation or secondary delegation, any official or even unofficial.
00:30So, a very clear message coming from Iran that we have not sent anyone to Pakistan as of yet.
00:37Now, since Saturday, multiple reports by international, including US and regional media,
00:42had claimed that an Iranian delegation was either heading to or had already arrived in Pakistan.
00:48And even mentioned meeting timings like Monday evening or Tuesday morning,
00:53all of which has been denied by the Iranian authorities as inaccurate.
00:59This is what the Iranian media is reporting.
01:02Now, Iranian officials have maintained a consistent stance, they say, since Sunday evening, which is April 19th,
01:08stating, and I quote them,
01:10we do not accept negotiations under threats or breaches of commitment.
01:15Again, continuation of talks depends on a change in the behaviour and positions of the United States.
01:23So, clearly, right now what we know is that Iran is denying that they have sent anyone for these peace
01:29talks,
01:30while now the confirmation has reportedly come from US that there is a possibility of J.D. Vance being a
01:36part of these discussions.
01:37But the question is whether Iran is coming in or not.
01:40Although most analysts feel that if the blockade is existing and there is a ceasefire,
01:47there is no escalation of the hostilities between the two.
01:50That means some sort of talks are still continuing.
01:54There is some back channel which is still open.
01:57But Iran publicly does not want to acknowledge the fact that they are talking,
02:01or for that matter, that there might be some sort of peace talks where a delegation could be sent.
02:06They have very clearly stated that no delegation, whether it is a primary delegation or a secondary delegation,
02:12official or unofficial, that has been sent to Pakistan.
02:16Now, that is something everybody right now is focusing on.
02:21And that is the peace talks.
02:24These peace talks are crucial not just for that region, but for all the countries, especially in Asia,
02:30that depend on the energy that flows through the state of Hormuz.
02:34And there is a belief that if these peace talks can continue, there could be some solution.
