00:18at the year-over-year scoring trend for miles bridges yeah clearly his offensive output has
00:24been on a bit of a decline now that could point to a lot of things but mostly i think
00:29he's just
00:29putting his focus elsewhere on the floor looking for other ways to help out his team and a look at
00:35the starters for charlotte knipple and miller on the wings bridges at the floor with plumley at center
00:40and it's ball in at point guard keon ellis is out there with mitchell then it's rui achimura then
00:46there's torian prince and it's kata in at the five roaming the paint grant these are two teams with
00:52some of the highest assist rates in the league yeah va and it really goes to show the unselfish
00:58attitude they both have not to mention how many skilled passers are on both rosters
01:04here's prince and he starts out with a miss in this one here's miller misses a three

01:21the bucket but how about that pass to set it up here's plumley it's good and the assist that time
01:28from ball the defensive effort was lacking a bit but hey give them credit for finding a weakness there

23:43and now it's all about how you respond to it and for charlotte bridges at the floor with plumbly at

26:26create for others they're the complete package well they certainly embody what's expected from a
26:32modern point guard scoring is a fundamental part of the job now now here's bridges he's got 10 and
26:40down it goes two points yeah he found some room there along the baseline some space at the rim goes
26:46right up and puts it in without resistance on the take kata gets the bucket kata's got 22. well he's
26:55done everything you want offensively great shot selection and he is a big reason why they have

29:13they expect to win but those games can be tricky remember there are no free wins in this league

29:33and it's achimura missing well you gotta miss sometimes but that one seemed like a gimme

31:03achimura outside good that's his fifth bucket in nine attempts and that is a high quality shot you
31:12will take it every time from that close the three from ball he can't hit that time well you can't
31:19make them all but i doubt the defense wants to give him that kind of look again a chance to

31:30shooting pain in that area it's so important for a team to stay healthy down the stretch so this is

32:49coaches loving the ball movement oh a great one-two punch beautiful pass and a nasty jam you know he's
32:58smaller for the center position by nba standards but his leaping ability more than makes up for his
33:05lack of height prince can't hit charlotte trailing put the step back here's miller
33:14pass to diabate for the lead prince grabs the miss

33:25and at the buzzer count it just textbook kept his cool and waited for his shot that's just great
33:34awareness one eye on the clock one eye on the hoop and offensively a great show for the fans through

33:41first three quarters it's been a fun game to watch they lead by five and don't go away we'll be

33:48in a few moments it'll be the fourth quarter of basketball coming up next
33:55and while we have a chance let's go to our state farm assist of the game
33:59this is the definition of team chemistry i love to see this kind of communication and connection
34:05between teammates leading to the perfect pass well coaches love unselfishness and this is exactly what
34:13they're referring to
34:16and with these teams locked in a very close contest this fourth quarter promises to be a good one
34:21they've got james he's out there with mitchell and it's battle in at the three oh what great action
34:28we've seen tonight hard to imagine a more entertaining game this is what the fans came to see a lot

34:40here's sexton and he'll draw the foul he'll head to the line for two and you look at colin sexton

34:47points on the board grant and does it efficiently well ba unfortunately he gives some of that back on
34:53the other end of the floor but there's always a place in this league for guys who can fill it

35:19the hornets pull it in diabate's got four rebounds now sexton goes in oh a rip rattling two-handed jam
35:29and offensively sexton has been in the zone he keeps finding chances and cashing in on him and james
35:37gets it to go and i absolutely love the attack mentality even with the bigger defender on well
35:44those types of moves show creativity and determination
35:50gone two of three to open the fourth quarter to the paint here's gay

36:05oh and there's the whistle on the shot so two free throws for him coming up
36:10and the quickness is unmatched tougher defenders to check sexton i mean he just calls the contact right

36:37and that one misses just a tough miss at the line they're down two baskets now

37:10this is why you want ball movement and player movement and that's made it hard for the defense

37:49their long-range shooting since halftime has been as strong as you could hope for

38:05confidence at the arc and when you give up a three there's always this instinct to try and get it

38:18and he was dominant in their last outing and the same thing here tonight he is in a terrific room
38:24right now and that confidence has carried over to tonight he is playing great basketball after
38:31making two threes in the first half the defense has really tightened up on him here and he's yet to

38:36one in the second james can't get it to go and here's bridges he'll bring it up for the hornets
38:43trailing by five the three from sexton that is now his seventh field goal in 10 attempts
38:49impressive and he is doing everything he can to keep his team in it trying to lift his teammates up
