00:00Talk to me about Toluca.
00:01Oh, yeah.
00:03Well, they ravaged us at home and they ravaged us at our home.
00:07So, yeah, Galaxy is out, but that's okay.
00:10We've already won this tournament three decades ago.
00:12We don't need to win it again.
00:14It's okay.
00:14We got to focus on the MLS now, the domestic league.
00:18We don't have to worry about that.
00:19But anyways, yeah.
00:20The pressure is on?
00:20I mean, what pressure?
00:22There's no pressure.
00:23I mean, pressure's on Greg Vaney.
00:24There's no pressure on Galaxy fans.
00:25We're destroyed.
00:26Our souls are broken, so we're good.
00:28We haven't heard...
00:30This is the first time we've heard Nick laughing, like...
00:32Yeah.
00:33I just went outside yesterday for the first time.
00:36When you're a Galaxy fan nowadays.
00:38No, but...
00:39Even Ricky Puig was on the sidelines.
00:42Yeah.
00:44But, yeah.
00:45LAFC's looking great.
00:46LAFC is looking great, my friends.
00:48Let's change the subject.
00:48They went and they show quality that he has not been there before
00:55and that's the reason why LAFC hasn't won this tournament.
00:57And it is, know how not to lose.
01:02That's the important part.
01:03You can win at home and destroy a team like Cruz Azul 3-1.
01:06Yeah.
01:07With a great performance by Son.
01:09We didn't talk about him earlier, but Martinez is a top player that has been scoring some bangers.
01:18Some, you know, quality, quality stuff out of this kid.
01:22Now, they go to Puebla.
01:25They play at a very, very hard stadium.
01:28They were impressed just to come out and see El Estadio.
01:32But, they were able to pull out the result.
01:35They didn't lose.
01:36They won and tied at the very last moment, making sure they advance 4-1.
01:41The biggest goal difference from an MLS side to a Liga MX side in the competition ever.
01:47Breaking records.
01:49Making up stats.
02:03Making up stats.
02:04Are you making up stats?
02:08No.
02:08Are you sure?
02:08They derailed La Maquina.
02:10There was no doubt.
02:12There was nothing.
02:13LAFC will be the champion of this competition.
02:15Let's talk about the other side of the bracket.
02:18Tigres.
02:20Barely.
02:21Barely made it out of there.
02:22Barely.
02:22Seattle, surprise.
02:24They do well in this tournament.
02:25I'm not a Seattle fan, but Seattle is one of those teams that proudly represents MLS.
02:31This team is hard to beat.
02:33And I really like that Morris and Musowski were able to play at that high level to showcase
02:42the level that MLS has.
02:43Not on the t-shirt though.
02:45Not on the t-shirt.
02:46Ah, but we gotta be proud of our guys at Tigres because, you know, here at Latin Nation
02:51we have all the games.
02:52We didn't have this one, but...
02:54Pero los de casa, sí.
02:55But the ones at home, yeah.
02:57I am very proud of Tigres.
03:00I think that...
03:01Did they lose this second game technically?
03:03Yes.
03:04But they advance and they are gonna take this, hopefully, momentum into the league as well.
03:11So...
03:11Now, Nashville going to El Azteca and eliminating America.
03:15Are we surprised?
03:16You know, we're talking about, like, pretty much the best team in the West and the best
03:20team in the East in MLS going and eliminating probably the two biggest, most known Mexican teams.
03:27Not only that, the current champion of CONCAC Champions and two of the latest champions in
03:34Liga MX.
03:36Is MLS really making strides when it comes to comparing both leagues?
03:40We're just getting better and better and better players here on this side of the border in
03:45our league.
03:46And I think it's starting to show the competitiveness between the two.
03:49It's almost neck and neck.
03:51I think Liga MX has more prestige.
03:53It's made more of a name for itself.
03:55It's obviously an older, more historic league.
03:59Mexico, Mexicans have made more of a name for themselves as a footballing nation.
04:03But the U.S. is showing that it can compete.
04:06And that competition, ladies and gentlemen, is great for both sides.
04:10And I love to see this.
04:11And this is my favorite tournament to follow for that reason, because I'm proud of MLS
04:14teams.
04:15I love to watch them go international and go head-to-head with world-class clubs from Mexico.
04:19It's just like a win-win for both sides.
04:22It wakes Liga MX up like, oh, God, now we've got some competition of the guys up north.
04:26And then, you know, MLS is still, I don't want to say making a name for itself, but it's
04:29sort of making a name for itself.
04:31But it is.
04:31Yes.
04:32So, it's amazing.
04:33MLS is here.
04:34It's in the conversation.
04:35There was always the debate like, oh, are they catching up?
04:38No, I think they're here.
04:39They're competing.
04:40They have created, they have, you know, they've gotten great results, both in the U.S.
04:46and go down to Mexico and get the results down there.
