00:00All right, it's your girl Lori Mack here from 105 When The Bounce, and I'm pretty much sitting down with
00:04a regular, okay?
00:05He does a lot for the community, and he is the founder of Young Titan Mindset.
00:10Please help me welcome Mr. Shannon Williams.
00:15What up, dog?
00:16What up, dog?
00:18So, you know you busy, as always, doing something positive.
00:23What you got coming up?
00:24Okay, we got the autism walk this weekend that I signed up for.
00:30For my behavioral health that I just added to my nonprofit.
00:35So I got that coming up.
00:39Also, we're doing a pitch competition.
00:43April 26th at the Greenfield Plaza.
00:46We're going to have wine, food.
00:51It's going to be at AJ Studio at the Greenfield Plaza.
00:54I want to give a shout-out to them for donating the money to give to businesses
00:59because we opened up to businesses and nonprofits this time.
01:02So it's the first 20 nonprofits or businesses combined that donate the $25.
01:10So you can get more information.
01:12You can go on my Instagram at YoungTitanMindset.
01:18I'm on all platforms.
01:20Okay, I love that.
01:21So you said the fish competition.
01:23So this is like an actual pitch.
01:25The pitch.
01:26See, I'm already saying it wrong.
01:27So what is that?
01:28Like, is that where they just pitch their ideas, their businesses?
01:33Yeah, so you get three minutes to pitch and just tell us what you're doing,
01:36what your business do, or what your nonprofit do,
01:38if it's doing something for the community or your business
01:42and what you're selling and how it affects or impacts the community
01:47and how it's helping.
01:48Oh, I love that.
01:49Is this your first time doing this one or?
01:51This is the second one.
01:52The first one went real good last year.
01:54We did it in December.
01:55Okay.
01:55So this is the second one.
01:56So it ain't like it ain't been done before.
02:00Right, so people know about it.
02:01Yeah, we did the first one at Hideaway.
02:03Shout-out to Ms. Reynolds for letting us do that.
02:06Oh, I love that.
02:07And then also I do my food distribution at 13,000.
02:13Every Sunday?
02:14Yeah, 13,000 West 7 Mile from 1 to 2.
02:22No, 1 to 3, but we might change the times from 12 to 2.
02:28But it's every Sunday.
02:29The address is 13,000 West 7 Mile.
02:32And another new thing that I'm doing,
02:37I'm about to do something with the USDA for the kids
02:41so we'll be able to provide after-school programs like food or whatever
02:47for the kids, pre-cooked food for the kids in the summertime.
02:53So I have four locations that they can go pick up for the kids
02:57and get food or eat or whatever.
03:00You're just busy.
03:03I love that.
03:04It's just busy, man, like I was saying.
03:06You know people always want to be involved.
03:08They want to help or they want to just volunteer.
03:13Where would they go?
03:14Well, they could go, like I said, once again, I'm on LinkedIn.
03:18They can go to my website, www.youngtidemindset.com
03:22and contact me.
03:24Are you looking for volunteers?
03:26I'm always looking for volunteers.
03:29And Thurston's District Court sent me some sometimes, too.
03:32Shout out to them.
03:34So if they want to volunteer, they can go to my Instagram, Facebook, TikTok,
03:41LinkedIn, or my website.
03:42And I just made a YouTube page today, so I got to start posting stuff on there.
03:46See what I'm saying?
03:47Making sure you get the word out, any means necessary.
03:50Any means necessary.
03:52I want to give a shout out to my homeboy, LJ, at the boxing gym.
03:56He said I could implement that into the boxing for the kids into my program.
04:03So they'll be able to go get some lessons and go down there in boxing.
04:06People want to find out more information.
04:08Like I said, you can contact me on Instagram.
04:11I got a lot of good stuff coming up.
04:13Wow.
04:13So, you know, you want to stay connected if you're in the community,
04:15if you want your kids to be a part of something.
04:18If you want to be a part of something, this is the way to go.
04:20Because he's always doing something.
04:22And I love it because it keeps them busy and it keeps the kids busy, too.
04:27I love what you're doing with the kids, what you've been doing with the kids.
04:31And, I mean, it all started from Young Titan Mindset, right?
04:33Yeah.
04:34And that was way back when, what, what?
04:38When did you start that?
04:39I started 2024.
04:41So I've been doing my thing for a minute.
04:46But I'm growing faster than what I thought.
04:49Well, I can say it's what I thought, but, you know, it's all in God's plan.
04:52So I'm always going to get on here and say, first and foremost,
04:56I want to give a shout out to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
04:59Yes.
05:00For allowing me to do what I do.
05:03And, you know, try to bless and bless more people as I can
05:08and touch as mean people as I can and show to them that they value.
05:11Yes.
05:12Absolutely, because you do that.
05:14That they, you know, matter.
05:15And it's another thing I always want to tell people,
05:18don't forget your why or why you're doing something.
05:20If you ever come to a hard road or a reason why you want to quit,
05:26just always remember your why.
05:28I love that.
05:29That's powerful.
05:30You'll always get back to the square root of what you're trying to do.
05:34See, and with everything being so successful for you,
05:36how do you feel about, like, the outcome?
05:38Because, like you said, you didn't think it was going to turn out this way.
05:41But since it has, how do you feel?
05:43Like, I know this has to be, I mean, groundbreaking for you.
05:50You know, because, like I said, I played basketball, so the success part is just,
05:55it's just coming with it.
05:57It's a surreal thing, but it's because, you know, I'm doing what God asked me to do.
06:02So I'm obeying what he told me to do.
06:04And whatever comes with that, even if I don't get no glamour or none of that
06:09or recognition is cool, I'm doing it because it's to help people.
06:13And that's the main thing we should be doing is trying to help people.
06:17Absolutely.
06:17And we should always be able to speak out and speak our voice about what we believe in
06:21as far as in Jesus Christ, because it's a lot of persecution going on with the Christians
06:28all over the world.
06:30So I just want to let people know, don't ever silence your mouth when it comes to Jesus Christ.
06:36Don't be ashamed of it.
06:38Amen to that.
06:39That's what I'm saying.
06:40And for entrepreneurs, anybody that wants to start or follow in your footsteps
06:44that want to help the community, what would you tell them?
06:47Like, how could they start?
06:50Or they want some information from me on how to start?
06:52Yeah.
06:52Like, what would you tell them if they, what's the best way to start?
06:56The best way is know your why, know why you're doing it.
06:58And go from there.
07:00Yeah, because if your purpose is to do it to make money or to do something else,
07:04that ain't going to align with what you be trying to do.
07:08So as far as in, you've got to gamble on yourself,
07:11and you've got to have real faith in what you're doing,
07:14and you've got to go out and get what you want.
07:17Ain't nothing going to just fall in your lap because a lot of people want stuff
07:21or they see other people with stuff and think it's that easy until they start doing it
07:24and know it's hard work.
07:25Just being an entrepreneur, I mean,
07:27the only way it's going to be successful is if you're doing it.
07:30You can't go to HR or none of that and try to get no extra money.
07:34All the money and everything is based on how much you put into it
07:39and how much time and effort and resources you're trying to go put yourself out.
07:44You know, and you can't be afraid to get told no.
07:48Right.
07:48You're going to get told a lot of no's, but you're going to get told a lot of yeses.
07:51So it just comes with the territory.
07:53You've just got to, like I said, always believe in yourself.
07:56And if you're doing it for the right reasons, it'll pan out.
08:00Ooh, I love that.
08:01And once again, don't be ashamed to talk about God.
08:04Ain't nothing embarrassing about that.
08:05Especially if he is leading you through your journey.
08:08I know that's right.
08:09I mean, you'll be surprised when people are nervous to follow through with faith.
08:13So I love that.
08:15Yeah, but you can't say, I might get in trouble for you.
08:18You can't say you got faith and you scared to speak for him.
08:24So if you trust him, ain't nothing to be scared of.
08:27Can't no human do nothing to you that he don't lie with.
08:31If it happens, it happens.
08:32I love that.
08:34See, that's why you have to come out and support him.
08:35Okay, he got everything going on, starting with the autism walk that's going on this weekend, right?
08:42Yeah, and also, I'm about to do the veteran housing, probably low-income housing.
08:50And also, I'm forgetting one more thing.
08:53We can get back to that because I'll make sure I tell you before we're done.
08:58No, no.
08:59I mean, that's, like I said, he's busy.
09:01You know what I'm saying?
09:01So you got the autism walk that's happening this weekend.
09:05And are people still signing up for that or is that closed?
09:08I'm not sure if they still signing up for it because you had to, like, you know, pay a little
09:14something, like, to be a vendor or whatever.
09:16So, and I'm also about to, like, we got another event coming up with the children's, well, no, with the
09:23YMCA to be a vendor so I can, for the behavioral health and stuff like that for my nonprofit.
09:29I love it.
09:30Also, we also got church twice a month at the building at 13,000.
09:38So if you want to come out and check out and see what you can learn about God or whatever,
09:43the name of the church is Truth Christian Assembly.
09:46So you go out and try to check them out or whatever if you want to.
09:49Well, I love it.
09:50Maybe a new church home for somebody.
09:52It might be.
09:53Might be.
09:54I don't force, like I said, I don't force nobody on nothing.
09:57I just say it, like, it's open.
09:58It's open for you to come in and get the word or see what you're trying to get closer to.
10:06But I always say you still pray on your own and still go get a personal relationship with God.
10:11Just don't go to church and think it's going to solve it because you go once a week, an hour
10:17and a half, and think you're going to have a relationship with God.
10:19It don't work like that.
10:20No, you have to give yourself to him.
10:22Ain't that right?
10:23I love it.
10:24So, yeah, make sure you come out and you support him, Mr. Shannon Williams.
10:27All right, he's out here.
10:28You're doing big things.
10:29Now, you say that you got the, I'm going to say it wrong.
10:33Pitch competition.
10:34The pitch.
10:34The pitch competition is going on April the 26th.
10:39At the Greenfield Plaza.
10:41We're going to have wine.
10:42We're going to have some food for you there.
10:45What time?
10:45We're going to have a good time.
10:46It's at 1 p.m.
10:50So, like I said, you'll have a good time there.
10:52Channel 4 News, I talked to, and then I also just did something with the Channel 4 News.
10:57So, they might come by and send me a text.
10:59So, it would be a good time.
11:01Yeah.
11:01So, it's about, and then also it's about when you get there.
11:05It's exposure.
11:06And you want to network when you get in these rooms.
11:09Yeah, you do.
11:10It ain't just about the competition.
11:11They might got some resources that you need.
11:13So, don't be afraid to talk to people.
11:16Because people, like I said, people will ask God to do something for them.
11:19He'll put you in a room with these people.
11:19He'll put you in a room with the right people.
11:21And you don't say nothing.
11:22And you don't know.
11:23Those miles don't get fed.
11:24So, you want to come out.
11:25Come out to the pitch competition.
11:26It's happening April 26th.
11:28Okay?
11:28You don't want to miss it.
11:291 o'clock.
11:30Like you said, you still have time to sign up if you're trying to pitch.
11:34Or if you just want to be there.
11:35You know, maybe you want to see what they're pitching.
11:37Come on out and support.
11:38All right?
11:39I appreciate you.
11:40And my nephew got a business.
11:43I don't want to say the wrong name.
11:45But he's doing the veteran housing, too.
11:47His name is Jeremiah Payne.
11:49I can't wait to see this unfold.
11:50I mean.
11:51He already got room available now.
11:54Like I said.
11:55So, I could give you the information for that on my Instagram.
11:58If people want to know more information about getting their people in there.
12:02Good resource to have in your life.
12:02I got the information for that.
12:04Good resource to have in your life.
12:06Yeah.
12:07Well, thank you so much, Shadda, for coming on the show.
12:10Talking.
12:10Telling us everything that you got going on.
12:12I can't wait to see what you have up next.
12:15All right.
12:16It's your girl, Lori Mack, from 105 When The Bounce.
