00:00in the spread lines that you need to know for tonight's action, which includes another two
00:04game set in the NBA. And where are we going to start, Joe? Of course, in the city of brotherly
00:08love. That's the Philadelphia 76ers at home to take on the Orlando Magic. This line opened up
00:14roughly a minus one point favorite in the landscape for the Philadelphia 76ers. But we've
00:18seen that grown, Joe. You see the graphic right there, minus two and a half and a total of 222
00:23and a half. Most people would have thought that the Orlando Magic would have this game at home,
00:27but playing against, you know, the G League team, Gatorade League team, they weren't able to come
00:32up with a victory late in the season. So the Sixers are the home team tonight without Joel Embiid.
00:36What's your spread line tonight for this play in matchup? Well, I think it's interesting, Donnie,
00:41because we've seen the total get bet up from the open of the 220 and a half. We saw one
00:47one and a
00:47half as the opening number for Philadelphia. And we saw twos, you know, now maybe two and a half in
00:53some spots. So, but we all know Joel Embiid is not playing in this game. So that was already baked
00:59into the numbers. So it's not that there is some sort of hope that Joel Embiid is going to all
01:05of a
01:05sudden show up on the court here for this game. So where is the Sixer love coming from? Or is
01:12it just
01:13that there's no Orlando love in the marketplace here? And listen, it's been, it's been up and down
01:18for Orlando, who had a chance to avoid this game altogether and couldn't beat the backups of Boston
01:24last game. But styles make fights here, Donnie. And without Joel Embiid, exactly who's protecting
01:31the rim against Boncaro and Franz Wagner here? And the answer is nobody. You're going to put a lot
01:37on Tyrese Maxey's shoulders here in order to be able to carry the load against Orlando. And I think,
01:44listen, Philadelphia wants to speed this game up. And if you like Philly, I get why you're
01:49betting me over here. But if you like Orlando, I don't think Orlando wants anything to do with
01:53a track meet. I think they want to make it physical. I, they want to slow the game down
01:57and they're going to have to play some defense. And I think they can do that. I like the under
02:02in
02:02the game, Donnie. That's where I'm looking. I think Orlando without Embiid, I think they can
02:07absolutely control the paint, control the rim. And I think that's going to lead to an under here
02:12tonight. Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers game number two tonight out on the
02:17West Coast, 10 o'clock start. This line opened up at minus five, Joe. And throughout the week,
02:22it's really hung around that five and a half point mark for the favorite Clippers who are the home
02:26team here. Totalness opened up around 220 and a half, Joe. You see the graphic now up to 221 and
02:31a
02:31half. But the question is that minutes restriction and what that means for the Golden State Warriors
02:35superstar, Mr. Curry. What are we looking at for a spread line tonight, Joe? Late night.
02:40I get also why the over was bet up yesterday, Donnie, 220, 220 and a half. We saw a lot
02:47of
02:47over money. We've seen nothing but Clipper money here. And of course, that coincides with the
02:53announcement that Steph Curry will be on a minutes restriction here. I think they what they put 32
02:59minutes down, like as if they need him to play 40. He won't be available for the other eight. But
03:05this is tough sledding, man. I don't know. To me, Donnie, if you're really going to limit Steph
03:11Curry, my question is what do those non-Steph Curry minutes look like for Golden State? Because if the
03:17offense isn't any good without him, then how are we getting it over here? That's my problem is I have
03:24no idea what Steph Curry is going to look when he's off the court. I know what he's going to
03:28look like
03:28when he's on the court. But what is this offense going to look like when he's off the court? And
03:32that's
03:32the problem. I think the Clippers absolutely are the right side. But as far as the total goes,
03:39you need Steph Curry to, yeah, 35, 38 minutes to get this thing, I think, up and over here tonight.
03:46NBA playing rounds beginning yesterday, continuing tonight. We'll continue the rest of this week.
03:52And then the big boys coming this weekend with a nice little Saturday slate and a Sunday slate here.
03:57Sports Business Journal Joe says the NBA just completed its best three-year attendance stretch
04:02ever. 22.18 million fans averaging 18,108 per game. 97% arena capacity with 11 teams with sellout
04:12seasons. Third straight year hitting those marks. The NBA, apparently everybody does love it, Joe.
04:18Yeah. I wonder, any of those teams in Utah, Indiana, Washington, D.C.? What do we think? Are we getting,
04:27are you selling out those games by some, no? Yeah, because half your league, you can't get 30 people
04:34to want to buy tickets and go see you tank. So, but hey, kudos on that, those overinflated numbers
04:40there. And by the way, there's a reason they probably use the best three-year attendance stretch
04:45ever and not just this last year. And understand this, I've been to Marlins games in Florida where
04:49they go, attendance, thank you, 9,762 fans. I look around and be like, it's me and three guys up
04:56there.
04:57It is what it is. You got good accountants. You can make it certainly work here. The NBA,
05:02a great three-year stretch that not too many people are believing at this point. Now, here's
05:06a story we got to get to, Joe. This is what we like. From NBA Central, and you might have
05:10thought
05:10it was from the Centel, the trademark application for Bronny's B9 logo under Nike has been denied
05:16per Mike Ralstein. Now, understand this. I don't know who has the B9 logo or who cares about it or
05:22how
05:22much money you can make off it, but let me tell you right now, B9 ain't selling nowhere.
05:27Be gone at this point right now. So, it looks like the USPTO, which stands for the U.S. Patent
05:33and Trademark Office, turned down the application because examining attorney P. Scott Craven deemed
05:39the logo too similar to the B9 logo created by BAC9 Golf Apparel Company. Stop it. Bronny,
05:48just put your stuff out there. Nobody's going to steal that logo and put a tat on their body
05:53that you're going to want to come back for compensation. Just move on.
05:58I swear if I ran him over on the road, I wouldn't know who he was, Donnie. Honestly, I'd like
06:03get out,
06:04be like, oops, sorry, and just drive away. Like, I, who, just, I, all right, I guess, yeah, go ahead,
06:11try to, I think we should do that, Donnie. Any way we can fill out patents, try to get,
06:15try to get it ourselves here on this show, all squared away in case anybody wants to get
06:20the tattoo. What do you think? The B9 logo. We're just, we're, again, we're doing too much
06:25out here. Just, just like, trademark, like the name Bronny and we'll be fine with it. B9 logo.
06:29You scored 20 in an NBA game. Yeah. I love that.
06:32We knew that his number was nine anyway at this point. Yeah, just, we're trying to patent stuff.
06:35The patent office is like, B9, who is Bronny? He's number nine now. Get that out of my face.
06:39Yeah, BAC9 Golf is B9. That's what we've always known it for. How about Luka Doncic? Here we go.
06:45Once again, let me understand this as well. Luka goes down with a hamstring injury,
06:49which you know, it's going to be weeks. Luka disappears from the Lakers, ends up in Europe.
06:55And the timeline is like, yeah, he's getting these awesome treatments. It looks like he's
06:58going to be back ready to go for game. Number one. Now we hear Luka Doncic's inner circle has
07:02confirmed his original injury diagnosis and recovery timeline remain unchanged. Did he just say,
07:08you know what? I'm going on a European vacation for a couple of weeks and I'm not actually getting
07:13treatment or working out? Pretty funny, Donnie. I'm talking to one of my friends in a risk room
07:18in Vegas yesterday, and he's going, I cannot believe the amount of Laker money that has just
07:23come in. He's like today, it's unbelievable. But it also coincided with that news that we told you
07:28yesterday that Luka could be back. He's back with the team. He could very well be there. All of a
07:35sudden,
07:35by six o'clock last night, it comes across. Yeah, Luka's already been ruled out for the game.
07:40And there comes the Houston money. It's so unbelievable. It doesn't matter. You're going
07:47to get Laker money no matter what, Donnie. It doesn't make a difference one way. Bronny's
07:52going to play. Luka's playing. You're still going to get Laker money in the postseason.
07:57Father and son teeing it up in the playoffs with a B9 logo out there that's now untrademarked.
08:03Have at it, people, if you want to make some coin off of B9. How about this, though? Let's talk
08:07about Zion Williamson. Will he be traded? Will he not be traded? Here's Joe Dumars talking about
08:11the subject. Just another thing related to Fletcher's question, maybe giving you an opportunity
08:17to get out ahead of something that's going to come up. If all the basketball ops chiefs are doing
08:23their job the way you think they should, they're all going to look at Zion being available for up to
08:2865 games because he shut him down the last three and averaging 21 points. And they're going to call you
08:35and discuss him. And then reports are going to come out that you're, you know, discussing
08:41potential trades with Zion Williamson. What do you want to, you know, that's where that's,
08:45that's how that stuff happens, right? And so do you want to, so what do you want to say about
08:50the prospect of that this offseason with him? Because he's a lightning rod, obviously.
08:54Yeah, he is. And yeah, I'll get those calls. And even when you say no to people, like, no,
09:04we're not moving Zion. Within two hours, it's out that, yeah, you've had conversations about
09:09trading for Zion. And so, listen, we have no intentions of doing that. You know, we're going
09:17into the offseason looking forward to Zion coming back next year and playing great again next year.
09:23But yeah, you, you know, these phone calls come in and, you know, people ask about a player and
09:29you say no. And then two hours later, it's like, yeah, they had a conversation about play. And I'm
09:32going, you know, that's true. But you left out maybe the most important part, which is we said no,
09:38you know. Sooner than later, the Pelicans probably should be good, but it's been a long time since
09:45they've been back. They are not good at this point right now. And it is the way it is. And
09:49they're
09:49looking to trade Zion. And Joe Dumas is saying no at this point. I'll tell you, I'll give you a
09:53little bit of hint, Joe. Makes no difference if they trade Zion or not. They're going to stink
09:56again next year and probably stink for the next five years as well. Well, the question is, Donnie,
10:02are you going to get a another season where he can play 65 or more games? I mean, this was,
10:08it feels like this was kind of a first, right? I mean, yeah, but listen, they've got players,
10:14New Orleans. So yeah, if you can keep Zion healthy, like you did this year and you got
10:20the shot, they Murray and, and you've got our, you know, Herb Joe, you've got some guys that can
10:24play, you know, maybe they won't be as terrible as they were this year. How about guys that can
10:30play as in Bam Adebayo? I'd like to have been the biggest game of the season all the way through,
10:35but he was tripped. Let's hear from Spoh right now. What happened? I didn't see it, but that I don't
10:39think it's cute. I don't think it's funny. I think it's a stupid play. It's a dangerous play.
10:43Obviously our best player is out. I'm not making an excuse. The Hornets played great,
10:51you know, and they made those plays down the stretch. We, we had our opportunities to win.
10:55I just, that's a shame, you know, you should be penalized for that. I don't think that belongs
10:59in the game, you know, tripping guys, you know, shenanigans and, you know, Curtis was there.
11:05It's his responsibility to see that. And if it's not his responsibility, then Zach's got to see it.
11:09If, you know, somebody has got to see that, uh, and that, uh, you know, he should have been thrown
11:14out of the game, you know, for that. I apologize on that one. I mean, I got hit in the
11:18head and
11:18didn't really know where I was, but I'm gonna check on him and see if he's okay and everything.
11:24LaMelo, it kind of looked like on film that you might've grabbed his leg. I mean,
11:28did you intentionally grab his leg? I haven't even seen, like I said, I got hit in the head,
11:32didn't even know where I was, but yeah, just, just playing basketball. But like I said,
11:37sorry, you know, I'm gonna check on him. All right. So that means he had a concussion
11:41and played through it. Should he be protocol and out for the rest of the playoffs run for
11:45them now? Is that what I'm getting? Yeah. That didn't help his cause at all. That explanation
11:50because you getting hit on the head and purposely wrapping your hand around the guy's ankle on one
11:56leg and ripping his leg out. So he falls on his, no, that, and I suppose, right. Cause everybody
12:03saw it. Even the broadcast teams, everyone's like, why is this not a flick? Like what is going on here
12:09in this game? And the ref was standing right there and didn't say anything.
12:13How about this Joe last night? Did you miss it? I did. Cause I was fast asleep. A 114,
12:18110 victory for the Portland trailblazers by Denny Avigia's 41 and 12 effort. The road team
12:25trailblazers pick up the victory. A classic game of three is more than two. And Portland
12:32took 47 three-point attempts there last night. More than half of their attempts came from three-point
12:41range. And that is why they were able to win that game last night. Two basketball games last night,
12:47the Hornets 127, 126. They move on the trailblazers, 114, 110 over the suns. They move on Joe. And we
12:54have
12:54a doubleheader once again tonight in the association game. Number one, Orlando magic
12:59and the Philadelphia 76 is going to do business. Then late night, the battle of the golden state,
13:03the warriors and the Clippers right back at it on the early lineup. It is a Wednesday here.
13:08It's Donnie right side. It's Joe Ranieri. And now we welcome in a Kevin Walsh. Kevin,
13:12how you doing today? Huh? I don't hear anything. I don't, I don't hear anything. Joe,
13:19do you hear anything in the background? A lot of crying. That's all I hear is crying.
13:24Right now. So he must be upset because I heard Luca won't be playing in the playoffs here for the
13:31Lakers. Unfortunately. Actually just got a text from Kevin and it says right now that, Oh no,
13:37due to the B nine Bronny James logo, not being approved by the patent office here. He won't
13:42be coming on as in protest. So Joe, the show must go on. We must be able to handle our
13:47business and let
13:48Kevin worry about Bronny James and the B nine logo, which brings us up tonight, Joe,
13:52to two games in the association. One at 7 30 PM, one at 10 PM tonight. Game number one in
13:58Philadelphia, the Orlando magic and the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers opened up as the
14:03light favorite Joe minus one and a half. But we're now seeing two and a half in the marketplace as
14:08a
14:08favorite for the Philadelphia 76ers with no Joel Embiid. How does that stick there? Joe for the
14:14Sixers as the favorite tonight in South Philadelphia? Well, that's the key to me. If Embiid had been
14:22playing here and it's amazing because this opened up one, one and a half for Philadelphia. So it moved
14:28a half a point to a point, Donnie. I mean, twos is pretty much the prevailing number right now across
14:33the board. So for it to move a half a point to a point, that means Embiid was already not
14:40being there
14:40was already baked into this number. So then the question is, do we trust Philadelphia with a banged
14:47up, uh, Maxie, uh, and Edgecombe and Paul George, are they going to be enough to dictate the pace
14:54against a very, you know, a pretty big and physical magic team that when they play, they can, yeah,
15:02they can be a big time headache here to Philadelphia. And that's the big question.
15:07I find it fascinating that the total has been bet up more than the side, uh, at two 22 and
15:13a half.
15:14Now, even two 23s, I'm beginning to see Donnie, which is interesting because I don't think Orlando
15:20wants to get into a shootout with the Sixers. I think they want to control pace, control the paint,
15:26control the boards and not give them any extra shots. So, you know, Embiid would have been a
15:31difference maker in this matchup without him there. It's, it's tough for Philadelphia. I think
15:37they're going to have their hands full. Yeah. It'd be interesting too. And also cheap seats
15:40there down at the, uh, you know, Xfinity mobile arena, as they call it now, where not a lot of
15:45energy. I got to tell you, Joe, in the tri-state area up here for the Philadelphia 76ers and rightfully
15:50so all Sixers fans do is get kicked in the, you know, what's every single year. Usually it's
15:55Joel Embiid eventually making it to the playoffs, then getting injured or something freak happening.
15:59Not the case this year. He's not even probably going to make it to the playoffs unless they get a
16:02super deep run, which probably is not coming here. The Flyers obviously playing good. They're
16:07going to be in the playoffs as well as the start of the baseball season here. And of course the
16:11Philadelphia Eagles in the draft coming up, doesn't leave a lot of room for those Philadelphia 76ers.
16:16Game number two tonight, Joe, is going to be a 10 o'clock start from the Golden State, which includes
16:20the Golden State Warriors taking on the Los Angeles Clippers in Los Angeles. This line was always
16:25around five points as a favorite towards the home team Clippers, but now it's increased slightly
16:29to minus five and a half. A 221 total that's listed there, but the biggest question mark
16:34is on Steph Curry. He's on a minutes restriction, Joe. We don't know how many minutes that's actually
16:39going to be until we see it play out, but how do we feel tonight between the Warriors and the
16:43Clippers?
16:44Yeah, and that's the biggest question, Donnie, is not so much what are they going to look like
16:48with Curry on the court. We know that, but what are those minutes look like when he's not on the
16:53court?
16:54And I think that's going to be, that's going to be the big question. I mean, listen, there are,
16:58you know, going back over the last decade, the idea to get Kawhi Leonard, you know, a future Hall
17:04of Famer versus Steph Curry, a future Hall of Famer, it would have been must-watch television,
17:08but this version of the Warriors is not what it was in years past. The supporting cast is good,
17:17it's just not great. I think the Clippers have the better supporting cast, and Kawhi versus Steph,
17:23as good as that's going to be, somebody else like a Darius Garland is going to have to show up.
17:29And I think they will here tonight at home. I think the Clippers will get it done,
17:33but I don't trust them enough to lay five and a half. That's the problem here.
17:38A little bit of look-ahead numbers here, Joe, coming up, as we told you. We don't know who
17:42these, you know, the ones and the two seeds are going to play, who winds up being the seventh and
17:45the eighth overall, but we do know, Joe, the other seeds that will take place on Saturday. A one o
17:51'clock
17:51game, a 3.30 game, a six o'clock game, and an 8.30 game. Raptors, Cavaliers, Timberwolves taking on
17:57the Nuggets,
17:57Hawks and the Knicks, and then the Rockets and the Lakers. And if we do start with the Rockets
18:02and the Lakers, which is the nightcap on Saturday from LA, it is interesting to some that the Rockets
18:07would be a five and a half point favorite as a road favorite. But as we know, no Austin Reeves,
18:11no Luka Doncic, no real chance maybe for the Los Angeles Lakers. It'll be brawny at home,
18:16but in what we might've thought would have been a deep run for the Lakers with all of their players
18:20combined and intact, it just seems like it's now LeBron James' team, and good luck with that.
18:27That's the problem. And, you know, Durant certainly would love nothing more than to stick it to LeBron
18:34here. But they're still beating up the Lakers. I mean, I would have loved this matchup had everyone
18:40been healthy for the Lakers, but that's not going to be the case here. And, you know, they have a
18:46better chance of getting Reeves back with the oblique strain than they do, I think, Luka with the
18:51hamstring. So the problem is this series could be over before either guy is actually ready to get
18:57back here. I, listen, I expect the Lakers aren't going to fold for anybody there, but I do think
19:03it's going to be too much Houston in this series. Yeah. And the Portland Trailblazers, Joe, which did
19:08win last night, they advanced into the playoffs. They're going to take on the San Antonio Spurs on
19:12Sunday and already being leveled out at a 10.5 to 11.5 point favorite, depending on where you're
19:18shopping at. One of the interesting games here, Joe, Saturday at 6 p.m., that's the Hawks and the
19:23Knicks here. The only shame is Trey Young doesn't play for the Hawks because that is a great rivalry
19:27with a lot of really good chance and a lot of bing bong out there if he was there. But
19:32the Hawks are hot.
19:33We're getting five on Saturday.
19:35Yeah, they are. And this is going to be an interesting series here because I think the
19:40Knicks went two and one against the Hawks this year. They just played a little over a week ago
19:45in Atlanta and the Knicks ended up winning 108-105. And it feels like, Donnie, that's the kind of series
19:52this is going to be, a big back and forth. Maybe the zigzag could be alive and well in this
19:58series
19:58between the Hawks and the Knicks.
20:00And if nobody knows what Joe's talking about, the zigzag theory in the NBA, hey, this team
20:04won and covered tonight. Ain't no way they're going to win and cover the next night at that
20:08point. So something to keep an eye on here and also understand the length of the first
20:12round here. You're going to get teams that are going to be really rested. Games instead
20:16of every other night or back-to-backs, every third and every fourth night here. Keep an eye
20:21on those veterans teams. They're going to get some breaks in the playoffs here. Best bets
20:25and more coming up next. Stay tuned.
20:30Fade the public or not. The question that was asked, Joe, which side are you taking
20:34in tonight's NBA play-in matchups here? Magic, Sixers, Warriors, and or Clippers? I'm looking
20:40at the live tally right now. 42.9% are taking those Sixers, Joe. Uh-oh. Does that mean
20:46fade the public is coming up next?
20:49Oh, boy. We'll have to wait and see here. But listen, I, you know, if we're just talking
20:55outright winners here, I do think the Clippers win that game outright, Donnie. I think they
21:01are the one team that will likely win. It just feels like Golden State, everything out
21:06of their mouth and everything they're doing is, can we hurry up and get this season over
21:11with? So I think the Clippers are the team that I think just wins outright and still has,
21:16by the way, one more game to play. Ah, we'll see what happens tonight. A little fade to
21:20public action here. See if those Philadelphia 76ers, my Sixers can win. And then it really
21:24is meaningless because they'll probably get a gentleman sweep in the next series. But
21:27let's get to those best bets here. Here's bye, bye, bye.
21:364-0 to start the week. Joe went with an NBA total yesterday, which hit. I went with a team
21:40total Major League Baseball, which hit. Joe, where do we go today with your best bet?
21:45Well, Donnie, it would appear that we absolutely have a pros and the Sharps loving the Philadelphia
21:5576ers here tonight as the money keeps rolling in. And you just mentioned it there with the poll,
22:02right? So the public seems to be all over Philadelphia as well. But I don't get it. And I,
22:08well, I do get a recency bias. Everyone just watched Orlando throw up all over themselves against
22:13the backups of Boston. But that's a different fight than what this one is going to be without
22:18Joel Embiid. Embiid in street clothes, to me, is advantage Orlando in a big, big way here.
22:26Listen, I think Orlando is going to win this game. I think they, and by the way, I don't know,
22:32it's funny how it worked out that they had an extra day of rest here. But I think that's
22:36advantage Orlando as well here, Donnie. We're seeing over money. I don't get it. I think the
22:42Magic win this game outright. I'll take the two and a half points. I will fade the public here
22:48tonight, Donnie. The Magic are a better matchup against the Sixers.
22:54On the early line begins right now. Donnie writes out along with Joe Ranieri. The next half hour,
22:59we're going to take a look at ways to invest in a stock market-like approach. And that includes
23:03Major League Baseball and also the NBA. A lot of good stuff here, Joe, on the horizon for us right
23:08here on PME. It's a good time of year because the prediction markets, of course, give you a great
23:15opportunity to hedge with some of these series coming up here in the playoffs, as well as the
23:22NHL championship, the run to the Stanley Cup. And still got a lot going on with Major League Baseball
23:28we'll have to keep an eye on as well. Absolutely. Orlando at Philadelphia tonight. The play-in
23:34tournament does continue here on the Cal State Marketplace. Around $515,000 in volume has been
23:40placed with Orlando and Philadelphia. But the Philadelphia 76ers are the favorites, Joe,
23:45currently trading at a 53% chance to win this game. Orlando, the underdog at 47%. Joe told you
23:52already, he likes the two and a half points here, getting with the Orlando Magic with a legitimate
23:56chance for them to win this game outright, Joe. Orlando at Philadelphia play-in round. The winner
24:02gets to move on to the next round. Yes, they do here. And this is, no Embiid is unfortunate for
24:11the Sixers here, but that means that the offense has got to come down to a couple of people, right?
24:17It's going to have to come down to Maxi. It's going to have to come down to Paul George, and
24:20it's going
24:21to have to come down to Edgecombe. Now, Maxi's still dealing with a finger issue there, Donnie,
24:26that kind of sidelined him for a little while. But the reality is, without Embiid, there's no rim
24:33protection. There's no paint, you know, defense happening here, which means I think Orlando can
24:39take advantage of that. And while both of these teams have been a little inconsistent offensively,
24:44I get the move to the over, and I kind of agree with it, because I think Orlando is going
24:50to have
24:50way more success in the paint, getting rebounds, putbacks. I think maybe the over now might be the
24:57best look in this game, as well as the side for Orlando. And by the way, no discounts for Tyrese
25:04Maxi on his points prop here, even at Cal State, Joe. 30-plus points, okay? That's a really big
25:08night. $100 investment pays back $189, so it feels like a little bit of that juice there that we're
25:12expecting Maxi to be great. As Joe pointed out, still dealing with a lingering finger injury.
25:17And of course, Orlando knows he's going to be the go-to guy. We'll see what we get out tonight
25:20from the Sixers and also Tyrese Maxi. Game number two tonight, Joe, of the play-in. The Golden State Warriors
25:26taking on the Los Angeles Clippers, currently trading on the Cal State marketplace, a 66%
25:32chance to win this game outright. That's on the Clippers. The underdog Golden State Warriors
25:36with a minutes restriction placed on the superstar Steph Curry. They're currently trading at 34 cents
25:41here, Joe, which means an underdog price if you think they win it outright. Talking about the Warriors,
25:46a $100 investment pays back, Joe, $295.
25:52Yeah, can't go wrong here. And again, we had talked about it. We think the Clippers are the
25:57right side, but much like, well, we kind of thought that Charlotte was the right side last
26:03night, but nobody wasn't running to go lay five and a half or six points here with them.
26:08And listen, to me, this is all about what happens with the Steph Curry minutes when he's on the bench.
26:13And I think guys like Santos have got to show up here tonight. And they've done a great job in
26:18his absence already this season, but I think they're going to have to be just as good here
26:23tonight. If I'm looking at anybody, though, I'm probably looking at Kawhi Leonard in a game like
26:30this. His numbers will be inflated, but he's already averaging about 28 points a game here. So
26:35I think Kawhi might be a guy to focus in on, especially if you like the Clippers tonight.
26:41By the way, what are we going to get out of Steph Curry in this game? It's not as if
26:44it's like,
26:44hey, it just took like a day or two off here to get ready for this one. 25 points or
26:48more for
26:49Steph Curry. $100 investment only pays back $162. You bump that up here, Joe, to 30 plus points.
26:55That's currently trading at $0.38. That $100 investment pays back $264. But a minute's
26:59restriction means he's going to have to get hot early. And also, if he does get hot early,
27:04do they sort of extend that minute's restriction here to see if he needs to play down the stretch
27:08if they're winning that basketball game? A lot to find out tonight, but two games in the
27:13association with a lot on the line. Pro basketball finals matchup here. OKC Boston currently trading
27:19as the favorite at a 26% chance here, followed by Oklahoma City and Cleveland here at a 12%
27:26chance. San Antonio, Boston, and so forth and so forth. Boston is not the top seed in the East.
27:32Oklahoma City is the top seed in the West. So a one versus two matchup is what the anticipation
27:37here is in the predictive markets, Joe. I mean, listen, it's not as easy as just pencil them
27:45through. They're going to make it now. I think Denver has got a real shot at this again this
27:52year, Donnie. I'd be hard pressed in a seven game series to think you're just going to walk
27:57right through them. And I don't care. San Antonio on San Antonio is going to have to
28:02finally do something they couldn't do the last game of the year. And that's beat Denver,
28:06but they're going to have to beat them in a series. And I don't know that that's happening.
28:09What happened yesterday when we were talking about Atlanta being in the finals here as one
28:13of those popular matchups, maybe just a programmer having some fun with the people out here. But how
28:18about the finals NDP winner, Joe, the favorite by a wide margin. Shea Gilgis Alexander at 42%.
28:24Why? The expectations that Oklahoma City wins it. Therefore, the best player on the team
28:28does get the MVP followed closely. Not really only 18% by Victor Webanyama and Nicola Jokic
28:35at 9%. I know you got your eye on Jokic down there, Joe.
28:40Absolutely. And listen, if you think Boston is the team coming from the East, then you'd be
28:46crazy not to look at Jalen Brown as well at what, seven, eight cents right now. So yeah,
28:52this is a correlated market here. You got to be in it to win it, right? So whoever can get
28:57to the
28:57finals, whatever teams you think that is, the MVP nod. SGA does not excite me at 42 cents, Donnie.
29:05I got to tell you, like the number one overall seed in the East, Joe, is the Detroit Pistons.
29:10Kate Cunningham is trading at 5% right now, which means $100 investment pays back $2,000
29:17on the best player on the number one seed in the East. That's something that maybe doesn't need
29:22to get to the finals, but just the Eastern Conference finals. And that ticket goes from
29:265% to 8% to 10% and can already be profitable. They make it into the finals, that
29:31jumps to 25,
29:3235, 45%, depending on what those finals prices would be at this point. Something to keep an eye
29:37eye on here. And that's what we do on prediction markets right here on the early line.
