00:00What a start to this year for the Clippers, at least based geographically on where they

00:08They've been at home for six of their first eight games to welcome in a new arena, that

00:13being the Intuit Dome, but they lost their first four games in Los Angeles.

00:17Now they've won two straight as they welcome back Paul George last night to thunderous

00:22booze as he stepped onto the Intuit Dome floor for the first time.

00:26And the Clippers have been taking advantage of this long home streak to start the year.

00:31They win last night in that game, as you see there, 110-98 by 12, and they cover as a one-and-a-half

00:39point home favorite.

00:40Didn't even get a great game out of James Harden, only five of 15 from the floor, one

00:44of six from three-point range, 18 total points.

00:46These are the games that you're expecting, with Joel Embiid still out, Tyrese Maxey

00:49to sort of take control.

00:50He has been playing a lot of minutes, played 32 last night, but only five of 13 from the

00:54floor, one of six from three-point range.

00:56Paul George working his way back, only 24 minutes, but was really efficient last night

01:00in his former city, not his former, obviously, arena there.

01:07The Sixers are just bad right now, and obviously when you have an MVP-caliber player not playing,

01:11that's one thing.

01:12But this team was supposed to be built for Joel Embiid to miss a lot of games in the

01:16regular season, building up that bench and also that starting lineup, but now it's Paul

01:20George at one-and-six overall.

01:22They're lucky the Philadelphia Eagles are playing well, and they're on the West Coast,

01:25and the NBA just started, so not a lot of eyeballs on them just yet, because if the

01:28Eagles were struggling, they would begin to get fried here in the city.

01:32Not much Sixers talk yet, because again, they're buried on the West Coast, and no Joel Embiid.
