01:51The yellow trim on them really kind of adds to the accent, and I like it a lot.

01:58We got the three uniforms moving forward,
02:01and I'll just say what I've said about this because this is kind of what we were expecting to see
02:07on today, April 15th, when Josh Harris and the team put out the announcement two weeks ago
02:16that said new uniforms unveiled on April 15th,
02:21and Josh Harris in his interview out in Scottsdale during the league meetings
02:25talked about a bit of a surprise, and the surprise would be the spear.
02:29But we kind of had a sense because we've talked about the spear,
02:34and certainly those of you that are literally living in every single hint that's been dropped
02:41over the last several months had a sense of the spear.
02:45This isn't going to please everybody.
02:47I can tell you Kevin in Arlington already really, really upset
02:51because the W is still on the helmet.
02:54He just wanted the straight 60s Sonny Jurgensen, Jerry Smith, Charlie Taylor,
02:58spear, old school from way back in the day.
03:04But this is a spear through the W on the helmet,
03:06but the jerseys themselves are our true burgundy jerseys,
03:13dark white with the burgundy numerals and the burgundy pants.
03:17It looks like the team minus the logo on the helmet
03:21that represented our city for many, many years.
03:27There have been uniform iterations, even when they were the Redskins,
03:30over the many years that they were the Redskins,
03:33going back to 1937 when they arrived from Boston.
03:37But the championship era uniforms,
03:40the uniforms that Joe Gibbs presided over
03:43when they won three Super Bowls and went to four
03:46over the period of 81 through 91,
03:51but really in a 10-year span from 82 to 91.
03:55That's what is back.
03:56We obviously saw that with the three games last year.
04:02Look, this isn't going to please everybody,
04:06but I would like to say that from my standpoint,
04:12kind of understanding the complexities of everything
04:14and understanding what they've been up against
04:18from a team name, branding,
04:23the business surrounding all of it,
04:25and it's been a big challenge.
04:29I'm not shedding tears for their challenge.
04:31Their valuation on the franchise today is much higher
04:35than it was when they purchased the team
04:38a couple of years ago for $6 billion plus.
04:42They would get a lot more for the team
04:44if they were to put it on the market today.
04:47But this was the challenge.
04:50The business plan said,
04:51Dan Snyder's gone, people will come rushing back.
04:54But they knew.
04:55They knew there was one impediment to that.
04:58The name loss and what the team looked like
05:02in those jokes of uniforms
05:05that Jason Wright and company put together
05:08for one of the worst debuts I've ever seen
05:12for a new product in consumer product history on 2-2-22.
05:17This looks like our football team
05:19minus the logo on the helmet.
05:21And who knows, maybe somewhere down the road,
05:24maybe somewhere down the road,
05:26we can bring back the Blackie Wetzel logo
05:29that existed for this football team
05:31from 1972 through the 2019 season.

05:40There was never anything offensive about it.

10:03Okay, so what will they wear at home?
10:06I don't think they've revealed that yet.
10:09My guess is that their primary jersey at home
10:13would be the white tops
10:15because that's what it was during the championship era
10:17and that's what they wore last year at home
10:20when they wore these jerseys
10:22in their as alt jerseys
10:25against Seattle, Denver, and Dallas on Christmas Day.

10:31maybe they'll wear both at home.

14:18it's not dead.

14:22has a chance

14:24to re-emerge
14:26in some way,

14:27or form,
14:28including,
14:28I wouldn't discount it,

14:31deep into the future
