00:00:00What percentage of the male population do you think you could beat up?
00:00:03I got the nickname in high school Nutcracker for a reason because I used to hit people in the nuts.
00:00:06Being in the relationship that I am with my partner, we scrap a little bit.
00:00:10I normally start it and I finish it.
00:00:11That means so many things.
00:00:13I know.
00:00:13I'm a fan until we wrestle for the custody of Dom.
00:00:16Get ready to get your a** to be here.
00:00:18Yo, I'm ready.
00:00:19What piercing hurt the most?
00:00:20Probably my belly button.
00:00:21Oh, actually, no, that's a lie.
00:00:23My a**.
00:00:23My fans are going to like this conversation.
00:00:25Yeah.
00:00:33I'm nervous.
00:00:34I'm not going to lie to you.
00:00:36This is our first podcast back in like a month.
00:00:39We've been busy, very busy.
00:00:41And here we come with one of the biggest stars in the WWE.
00:00:44This is great.
00:00:44I got an intro.
00:00:45I got an intro.
00:00:46Can't wait to hear this.
00:00:49Look, ladies and gentlemen, she is the WWE champion of the world.
00:00:53She's one of the biggest superstars in the industry.
00:00:55She's the only female to start at number one in the Royal Rumble and win that s**t.
00:01:01She's an absolute legend.
00:01:03She's the leader of the Judgment Day.
00:01:04Ladies and gentlemen, it's Aria Ripley.
00:01:07Believe it or not.
00:01:10Wow.
00:01:11How you doing?
00:01:11I'm good.
00:01:12I'm good.
00:01:12How are you guys?
00:01:13Uh, nervous and nervous.
00:01:16I don't know.
00:01:16The WWE fans love you.
00:01:18You go viral on Twitter.
00:01:19They cheer so loud for you.
00:01:21Last time I saw you, we were in Australia.
00:01:26I have a bone to pick with you.
00:01:31Yes.
00:01:31You were on stage, you took a prime bottle, took a sip, and you said,
00:01:38it's not that good anyway.
00:01:42Accent's good though.
00:01:43It's okay.
00:01:45It's okay.
00:01:46But here's the bone.
00:01:49Ria, there was water in that bottle.
00:01:52I know, it definitely tasted watered down.
00:01:55That's why I was like, yeah, it wasn't that good anyway.
00:01:57It's water and I know that because it was my bottle.
00:02:01Oh really?
00:02:02Yeah.
00:02:02I took it out there.
00:02:03We ran, I drank it.
00:02:04So I drank out of your bottle.
00:02:06Yeah.
00:02:07You might want to get checked.
00:02:08So her assessment was accurate then, right?
00:02:11Like it was...
00:02:11Well, she said water doesn't taste good.
00:02:13That was, that's the translation.
00:02:14It probably was like warm, piss warm water.
00:02:17Yeah, with a little bit of like flavor left behind.
00:02:20So it was like watered down.
00:02:21He probably had Vegemite before he drank.
00:02:24Logan cooties on it.
00:02:26I don't have cooties.
00:02:28I don't know.
00:02:29I don't know.
00:02:29But no, no, no.
00:02:30I can't, couldn't be any left.
00:02:32We, we washed it out.
00:02:33Me and Triple H.
00:02:34Actually, no, no, no.
00:02:36Triple H washed it out.
00:02:37I drank the prime.
00:02:39We were like, all right, always plug.
00:02:41I still need the bottle.
00:02:42Let's just put water in it.
00:02:43And he actually rinsed it out so there wouldn't be any prime after take.
00:02:47So when you, you said, first off, when you started drinking out of it,
00:02:50that was awesome.
00:02:51You didn't, you didn't have to do that.
00:02:52I got you.
00:02:52So thank you.
00:02:54But yeah, it was water.
00:02:55So I guess you don't like water.
00:02:57No, to be fair, I like prime.
00:02:59Okay.
00:02:59I'll put it out there.
00:03:00I do like prime.
00:03:01They were booing you.
00:03:02They booed me and I was like, I don't know what to do.
00:03:05So shit on it.
00:03:06I would have done the same thing.
00:03:07And I do.
00:03:08I do.
00:03:08Are you only saying that you like prime because it's the first
00:03:11or the current center of the ring sponsor in the WWE?
00:03:15Does that have something to do with it?
00:03:16Yo, I saw that.
00:03:17That's really cool.
00:03:18How crazy is that, dude?
00:03:19That is really cool.
00:03:22Yeah, I wasn't expecting that.
00:03:24I just went on X and I was like, oh, because I missed the show
00:03:26because I was traveling.
00:03:29But yeah, it's wild.
00:03:30It's really cool to have like a different sort of mat.
00:03:32Like I feel like we're going into a new era and it's cool that prime
00:03:35gets to be the first thing on it.
00:03:36Thanks, I think I think it's definitely really cool and
00:03:43indicative of the change in times because that canvas has such value.
00:03:48And if the WWE is able to make money and improve their bottom line
00:03:53and we are the first ones to do it because that spot was going
00:03:56to be sold is the way I look at it.
00:03:58That spot was someone was going to get that spot.
00:04:00And the fact that it's someone in the company
00:04:03and I can kind of use it to be a heel is nice.
00:04:05But stop it enough about me.
00:04:06This is this is your podcast.
00:04:07You're the guest.
00:04:09I started off saying it.
00:04:10You are you are an absolute superstar.
00:04:13And recently we just went back to Australia where you started this entire journey.
00:04:18Wrestling in front of I mean, how many people did when you started?
00:04:22When I started, I mean, we were lucky to get 100 at times,
00:04:27especially for like the little house shows we did at the actual gym.
00:04:30There'd be like maybe 50 people.
00:04:32I get paid with like a pie or a chocolate bar.
00:04:35You get paid with the pie.
00:04:36Yeah.
00:04:37Like a meat pie.
00:04:41So, so, so then why continue?
00:04:44I mean, I think I know the answer, but I just loved it.
00:04:47Yeah.
00:04:47Yeah.
00:04:47I loved it.
00:04:48I don't know.
00:04:49It was like, it was a cool challenge for me in a way.
00:04:52Like I've always loved challenges.
00:04:53I love proving people wrong.
00:04:55So like when people would doubt me along the way, I was like, nah, fam, I'm going to do it.
00:04:59I'm going to do my best and see how far I can get.
00:05:01I'm sure many people doubted you.
00:05:04Oh yeah.
00:05:04It's, it's a unique profession to say the least.
00:05:07Like when you told your parents like, Hey, I want to go to America and be a professional wrestler.
00:05:12What's the reaction?
00:05:13Um, at first they didn't like it.
00:05:14They were just like, you do, you've, you've been doing so well in soccer.
00:05:19Cause I played soccer for nine years.
00:05:20Um, and I played like netball for six.
00:05:22I was a very sporty kid.
00:05:24So they're like, you can honestly do any sport that you want.
00:05:26You could make it, make a name for yourself in soccer, um, or do better at school
00:05:35and get like a, a decent job.
00:05:37They, I think they were just looking out for me like parents do.
00:05:39Um, and wrestling is also such a contact sport that we're like, we don't want our little girl
00:05:44to go in there and get beat up all the time.
00:05:47Like fam, I'm going to do the beating up.
00:05:50You're good.
00:05:52You guys call it soccer there?
00:05:53Soccer.
00:05:54Yeah.
00:05:54Yeah.
00:05:55That's interesting.
00:05:56Sorry.
00:05:56I don't want to.
00:05:56No, I mean, you're not upsetting us in any way, shape or form.
00:05:59What's like a normal, like job in like Australia.
00:06:03Like, what would you like if you were just wait, where in Australia were you?
00:06:06Adelaide.
00:06:07Oh, for the show.
00:06:08No, no, no, no.
00:06:09Like when you started as a wee lad.
00:06:10Adelaide, South Australia.
00:06:11Adelaide.
00:06:12So you go to school, you decide I'm not going to be a wrestler.
00:06:15You become a kangaroo herder.
00:06:19Like what do you do?
00:06:20You know what I'm saying?
00:06:20I wanted to be a personal trainer.
00:06:23That's the one thing that I was like, if this falls through, at least like,
00:06:27I know that I love going to the gym.
00:06:29That's like my, my happy place.
00:06:31And I like helping people too.
00:06:32So I feel like that was what I did best in at school.
00:06:37Yeah, probably a personal trainer.
00:06:39Randy Orton was on this podcast.
00:06:41He sat in the same seat you're sitting in.
00:06:43And he said, anyone who says they like going to the gym is lying.
00:06:47Because if they worked out the way I worked out, they wouldn't like it.
00:06:50At times I hate it.
00:06:52When I'm there, I'm like, I can't wait to be done.
00:06:54But it's like that feeling afterwards where you feel accomplished, like you've done something.
00:06:57And then you see the progress in the weeks, months, years to come.
00:07:02Like I look back at photos from the first Mae Young Classic.
00:07:04And I'm like, damn, like I look like a noodle.
00:07:07And people said I was Jack back then.
00:07:09I was like, I look like a noodle.
00:07:10I mean, your physique is crazy.
00:07:13You're very strong.
00:07:14I'm a little intimidated by you.
00:07:17Good.
00:07:18Oh, okay.
00:07:22What percentage of the male population do you think you could beat up?
00:07:25Oh God, what percentage?
00:07:26Yeah, like average men.
00:07:29Like I feel like you've got to be pushing 80, 90, 90%.
00:07:32I want to say at least 80.
00:07:34Yeah, you could beat up eight out of 10 guys.
00:07:37What's your go-to like tactic?
00:07:41You getting a scrap outside of a watering hole in Adelaide, right?
00:07:46You had been there all night drinking Foster's Australian for beer.
00:07:50But I heard you guys don't actually drink that.
00:07:52It's disgusting.
00:07:53It's like piss, yeah.
00:07:54Well, whatever.
00:07:54So you're not drinking piss.
00:07:56But you're at the bar and you're just proper smoked.
00:08:00British.
00:08:01But you walk outside, right?
00:08:03And some chap is trying to fucking grab at your britches or something.
00:08:07What do you do about that?
00:08:09Like, what do you do?
00:08:10All right.
00:08:10Are you going to go for ground and pound?
00:08:12Power slam.
00:08:12Are you going to strike?
00:08:13Back elbow.
00:08:13Are you going to use a knee, a kick?
00:08:15It could be a super kick.
00:08:16I mean, it really depends what's open.
00:08:18Most of the time, I got the nickname in high school Nutcracker for a reason.
00:08:22Because I used to hit people in the nuts.
00:08:24So I'd probably go for that first.
00:08:27It works.
00:08:28Oh, it sure does.
00:08:29Yeah.
00:08:30Made a lot of people throw up.
00:08:30You got to change it when you're doing it to a girl, though.
00:08:33It won't work.
00:08:33I mean, sometimes it does.
00:08:35Sometimes.
00:08:37Get the bone, you know?
00:08:39Oh, yeah.
00:08:40Yeah, that's true.
00:08:41Do you pay attention to any of the gym culture at all?
00:08:45Like any of the big weightlifter people?
00:08:47Not really.
00:08:48Well, you don't know who Bradley Martin is, right?
00:08:50No.
00:08:50Oh, okay.
00:08:51Yeah, who does, right?
00:08:52I was just going to say, just because he challenges a lot of people to fights.
00:08:55He's 260.
00:08:56So he's a good friend of mine.
00:08:58I was just thinking maybe if you guys fought, what would happen?
00:09:00See, I'm very stubborn.
00:09:01That's my thing.
00:09:02Even if I'm losing, I'm secretly winning.
00:09:05Explain.
00:09:07Tell me what you mean.
00:09:10So like, being in the relationship that I am with my partner, we're both wrestlers,
00:09:15of course, so like, we scrap a little bit, just for fun.
00:09:19I normally start it and I finish it.
00:09:23That could mean so many things.
00:09:25I know.
00:09:27That's shit.
00:09:29Wait, that concerns me.
00:09:32Like, it never gets really serious.
00:09:34No, I mean, like, I'm also stubborn.
00:09:36So like, he put me, what did he put me in?
00:09:40He put me in some sort of submission and he was like-
00:09:43Sharpshooter.
00:09:43No, it was-
00:09:45Rear naked.
00:09:47Triangle.
00:09:47What was it?
00:09:48Armbar.
00:09:49Oh, I think it was a triangle.
00:09:50Triangle?
00:09:50Yeah.
00:09:51I mean, that's how'd you get out.
00:09:54I thought about it.
00:09:55I did.
00:09:56No, but that's your man, so you can't-
00:09:57I can't.
00:09:58Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:10:00But he put me in it and like, he's like, just tap.
00:10:03I'm like, no.
00:10:04He's like, just tap.
00:10:05No.
00:10:05He's like, so slowly got tighter and like his manhood was on the line.
00:10:09So he slowly like got tighter and I was like, no.
00:10:11And I got to the point where he got so tired, he had to sort of let go a little
00:10:16bit.
00:10:16And that's where I overpowered him.
00:10:19Oh my gosh.
00:10:20And got out of him and pinned him to the ground until-
00:10:22He's watching this right now.
00:10:24Like, please stop.
00:10:24Don't tell them this.
00:10:26Sorry.
00:10:27By partner, you're talking about Buddy Matthews, right?
00:10:30Yes.
00:10:30AEW superstar.
00:10:31Yes.
00:10:31Is there ever a time where when you have these like little scraps, you're fighting for the
00:10:37honor of the WWE and he's fighting for the honor of the AEW.
00:10:40And is there like any animosity there because he's the ops?
00:10:44You know what I'm saying?
00:10:44Like, no, not really.
00:10:47And he knows that like mommy's always on top.
00:10:52I want to ask you about your relationship if it's okay.
00:10:55Yeah.
00:10:56Because I find it fascinating because you are both in the same profession, but in competing
00:11:01companies, which is interesting.
00:11:04Not only that, you're the top in your industry.
00:11:08That can rub a lot of men the wrong way when their partner is more successful than them.
00:11:15And I'm not saying he's not, well, I think you're more successful.
00:11:17Maybe like technically objectively, you know, is that hard for him?
00:11:23Is it inspiring?
00:11:24Does he like it?
00:11:26What's that like?
00:11:27He loves it.
00:11:28I mean, it doesn't make him feel a certain negative sort of way.
00:11:33He's happy for me.
00:11:34And he also knows how far I can go in this company and how far his limitations are as well.
00:11:41Like, obviously it's a male dominated sport.
00:11:48So there's only so many females in it.
00:11:51So if you really show like that you're different and you connect with the crowd on a certain way,
00:11:55you're obviously going to skyrocket to the top.
00:11:57Where for him, he's been in WWE.
00:11:59He's been wrestling for over 10 years, over, I think maybe over 15 years.
00:12:06He's been wrestling for a long, long time.
00:12:08And he knows that like when he was in WWE, he hit a peak there.
00:12:12And then over in AEW as well, he's doing well.
00:12:15And it's slowly growing, like the House of Black is slowly growing and getting more steam.
00:12:19But he also knows that at the end of the day, the platform that I'm on,
00:12:24this might make a lot of people mad, but it's obviously higher.
00:12:30And yeah, I feel like he doesn't get threatened by that.
00:12:33And he says he doesn't either.
00:12:35So like, I'll take his word. I trust him. I believe him.
00:12:38And like, he's very comfortable in what he's doing and who I am.
00:12:44And he also loves to help me along the way and help me grow, which is what a relationship should
00:12:49be.
00:12:50It's a team, right?
00:12:50So if one of the...
00:12:52If I'm winning, he's winning.
00:12:53Right.
00:12:53And maybe you're winning in an aspect of...
00:12:55Exactly.
00:12:55And he's bringing more to the table in another place.
00:12:58Yep.
00:12:58And it comes together to create this symbiotic system that is the rocket ship of that relationship.
00:13:04Yes.
00:13:04You guys work together.
00:13:05Yes.
00:13:05I don't know him at all, but even off of just what you said, it's what I kind of would
00:13:09assume.
00:13:10He seems like a great partner.
00:13:11Today, we talked about a lot of events on the show.
00:13:13We talked about WrestleMania.

00:14:18Here in Miami.
00:14:19What a great place it is.
00:14:20Marble and astonishing floors made of wood and other substances.
00:14:24If you're looking to visit a wonderful building, it's right here at Bezel.
00:14:28Yep.
00:14:28Back to the show.
00:14:29Even with like the Dom stuff.
00:14:31Oh, yeah.
00:14:32Not many people could be in a relationship through that.
00:14:35I don't think I could, Ria.
00:14:36Yeah.
00:14:36If the roles were reversed, I don't think I could either.
00:14:39What, really?
00:14:39Yeah.
00:14:40I know.
00:14:41No way.
00:14:42No way.
00:14:43I get jealous real bad.
00:14:45Oh, yeah?
00:14:46Yeah.
00:14:46Yeah.
00:14:47So if he had a Latina heat, you would not be.
00:14:49Oh, dude.
00:14:50Yeah.
00:14:50I don't know.
00:14:52How does he do it?
00:14:54What a legend.
00:14:54What a legend.
00:14:55Legit.
00:14:56That's crazy.
00:14:57He's so chill with it.
00:14:58And like, he loves Dom as well.
00:15:00Like they had the storyline before where he was dating his sister, Aaliyah.
00:15:05Oh, no way.
00:15:06Oh, cool.
00:15:06Yeah.
00:15:07He doesn't mind at all, which is amazing because it makes my life at home and work so much easier.
00:15:12Yeah, for sure.
00:15:13And also Dom just got married.
00:15:15Yeah.
00:15:15So like, you know, he's locked down as well.
00:15:18Yeah, for sure.
00:15:19For sure.
00:15:19You were there.
00:15:20You were at the wedding.
00:15:21Yeah.
00:15:21That's so crazy.
00:15:22Where was my invite?
00:15:24Well, I don't know.
00:15:26You have to ask Dom.
00:15:27Maybe, you know, this tag team run isn't going as well as you thought it would.
00:15:31Yeah.
00:15:31He's not going to leave mommy.
00:15:33That's great.
00:15:33Well, we'll see.
00:15:34You know, I mean, we'll see.
00:15:35Do you think you've ever get invited to a faction or do you just not get invited to anything?
00:15:45I don't think people really fuck with me like that, you know, who would be a good faction
00:15:52for Logan?
00:15:53Like if he got invited as long.
00:15:54It's Dom.
00:15:55It would probably be the job.
00:15:56By the way, we both love Dom.
00:15:59Like Dom is the best.
00:16:00He's amazing.
00:16:00And it's funny because everybody else in your faction has like a title, right?
00:16:06You've got you've got it.
00:16:08You've got the women's title tag team title, money in the bank briefcase.
00:16:14Right.
00:16:14And so Dom is like the one that's he's still running those next titles.
00:16:18You know what I'm saying?
00:16:19And JD and JD.
00:16:21Right.
00:16:22That's true, too.
00:16:23But it's about time.
00:16:24You said next.
00:16:25Yeah.
00:16:26Yeah.
00:16:26Yeah.
00:16:26NXT.
00:16:29I had every other part.
00:16:32It was.
00:16:32No, it's funny.
00:16:33I had every other part of that story.
00:16:35Perfect.
00:16:35And you picked out which I you know, one thing I've always liked about you is you do demand
00:16:39perfection.
00:16:41And I fucked up.
00:16:42And now I'm not even gonna ask the question.
00:16:44I'm just gonna I'm just gonna abandon the whole stuff.
00:16:47No, but when is it gonna be time for Dom to rise to the top?
00:16:51You know, because that's I think at least we want to see him there.
00:16:54Yeah, I want to see it, too.
00:16:56I mean, he's been working so hard for so long.
00:16:58Like people don't understand how much he actually does for the company.
00:17:02He's on every single show pretty much all the time.
00:17:04He's always traveling, always grinding, always having matches.
00:17:08He's the person in the company that gets the most heat every time he goes out there.
00:17:13He can't speak.
00:17:13Dude, he can't speak at all.
00:17:15And like he can cut a promo, which is so impressive because like it's one, terrifying.
00:17:20Two, he never gets the chance to really practice because people just boo him out the building.
00:17:23But I hope soon.
00:17:25I really do.
00:17:26I mean, he had that match with Gunther and that I mean, he didn't win, but it was a fantastic
00:17:31match.
00:17:31And he was resilient the whole time.
00:17:33He overcame so much.
00:17:34So I think that really made people look at him and focus on him in a different sort of way
00:17:39as well,
00:17:40a different light where he can play with the top guys.
00:17:43Yeah, it's a few young stars are having those type of matches with, you know,
00:17:50the real respectable people in the business, even even Austin Theory lately.
00:17:54Austin's great.
00:17:54Just absolutely murdering it.
00:17:56I think they're taking these opportunities on these shows to show how good they really are.
00:18:01Yeah.
00:18:01And Dom is, I mean, all wrestlers are tough, but Dom is tough one time.
00:18:06Oh, yeah.
00:18:06I was like, bro, your your schedule is crazy.
00:18:09Like, it's nuts.
00:18:10It's like, yeah, I hurt my shoulder.
00:18:11Like, I can't even lift my shoulder.
00:18:12I have a match this this weekend.
00:18:14Yeah.
00:18:14Like, how are you going to do that?
00:18:16Yeah.
00:18:17And the one thing I learned about wrestling in general is I think a big part of it is your
00:18:22ability to navigate pain because it's inevitable.
00:18:26This shit hurts.
00:18:27Yeah.
00:18:29I have a pet peeve.
00:18:31I don't know if you can call it that.
00:18:32It bothers me when I see women fall because I feel so bad.
00:18:37Like, no, in my head, I'm like, no, that's like a guy thing to do to fall and like scrape
00:18:41your knee and get hurt.
00:18:42Yeah.
00:18:42I just don't like seeing girls get hurt.
00:18:43Yeah.
00:18:44But I'm always seeing you guys do these crazy things.
00:18:48We go out there and we beat the crap out of each other sometimes.
00:18:50No, it's insane.
00:18:51It's insane.
00:18:52So how are you navigating that pain?
00:18:54I don't know.
00:18:55I think I just like it.
00:18:56I'm sadistic like that.
00:18:57I like that pain.
00:18:59Yeah.
00:18:59Yeah.
00:18:59That helps.
00:18:59Helps me feel like I'm alive, you know?
00:19:01Yeah.
00:19:03She's numb all day until she gets thrown through a table.
00:19:06Exactly.
00:19:06And now I'm happy.
00:19:07Then she comes to life.
00:19:08That's crazy.
00:19:09Mike can relate.
00:19:10Yeah.
00:19:10Yeah.
00:19:11Mike used to do drugs.
00:19:14Yeah.
00:19:14Hard drugs.
00:19:15Yeah.
00:19:15Back in the day.
00:19:16It's been a long time ago, you know?
00:19:18Yeah.
00:19:18But you should have done WWE.
00:19:20It would have been hard with those paddle feet of yours, though, and that rod in your ankle.
00:19:24Oh, yeah.
00:19:24But he's looking at getting a new foot, and maybe.
00:19:26Oh.
00:19:27Well, I need to have fusion surgery.
00:19:30Yeah.
00:19:30So the king of managing pain from all the interviews we've done so far has been Dom's dad, right?
00:19:37Oh, yeah.
00:19:38Ray has been through the wringer and does a ton of stem cell, a ton of alternative therapies.
00:19:44And he told me to go try the stem cell.
00:19:46It's not going to work.
00:19:47There's no cartilage in the thing.
00:19:48It's just stuck, and it's pain every step I take.
00:19:52Pain, pain, pain.
00:19:52Oh, really?
00:19:53And the problem is if you have a lower extremity injury, everything above it gets tweaked out
00:19:58of alignment.
00:19:59Yeah.
00:19:59So if your ankle's fucked up, then your knee's going to go, then your hip's going to go.
00:20:02And then the other side goes for compensating.
00:20:04Compensating.
00:20:04Yeah.
00:20:04Exactly.
00:20:05So, yeah, I'm cutting it off.
00:20:06Just cutting it off?
00:20:07Yeah, completely, yep.
00:20:08I think prosthetics could be good for him.
00:20:10No, I'm not even doing a prosthetic.
00:20:11I'm just a pirate peg.
00:20:13Ooh.
00:20:13I'm doing a wooden peg.
00:20:13I mean, that'd be a cool gimmick, you know?
00:20:15Yeah.
00:20:15Sick.
00:20:16Yeah.
00:20:16Hey, girl, you want to see my peg?
00:20:19My third leg peg.
00:20:20You have to say it with that accent though.
00:20:23Hey, Happy International Women's Day passed earlier this month.
00:20:27What a great holiday and obviously a lot of powerful women out there in the world that
00:20:31I want to say that to.
00:20:32But were there any important women in your life that inspired you?
00:20:37I mean, the normal answer would always be your mom.
00:20:40My mom is one of the strongest people that I know, for sure.
00:20:44And I say that, like, emotionally and physically.
00:20:50Growing up, she was obviously emotionally strong.
00:20:54She went through so much, especially dealing with me and my sister.
00:20:58And she just powered through.
00:20:59But also, like, physically strong because she did upholstery and all that.
00:21:03So she had guns, dude.
00:21:06Oh, yeah.
00:21:06She was strong, strong.
00:21:08And I loved seeing that growing up because I've always had a bigger frame.
00:21:11I've never really fit in with most girls and most girl groups.
00:21:15Because I've always just been bigger.
00:21:16I've been picked on for all that sort of stuff.
00:21:18So mom would definitely be one.
00:21:19And then also with, like, WWE, Beth Phoenix.
00:21:23She's just so amazing.
00:21:25And, like, seeing her be different in a time where it was hard to be different.
00:21:31It was inspiring.
00:21:33It really was.
00:21:33Is it exciting to you to know that you're going to be that woman for so many young women?
00:21:39Yeah, it is.
00:21:40It's wild to think that, like, a little girl from Adelaide, South Australia made it to WWE
00:21:44and is inspiring people to be themselves.
00:21:48And I love that.
00:21:49That's one thing that I really do love about this job is that I love hearing the stories
00:21:53of people that get inspired by us to then be confident in their own bodies.
00:21:58That's the one thing that I really want to get across while doing this job is just
00:22:02helping people feel comfortable and do whatever the hell they want, pretty much.
00:22:07Cut your hair short if you're a girl.
00:22:08It looks sick.
00:22:09He's ready.
00:22:10Things like that.
00:22:11I was going there, too.
00:22:12I'm just saying, well, speaking of being yourself, you know, we've seen a lot of versions of Rhea Ripley.
00:22:17Which version of Rhea Ripley is more you?
00:22:21Authentic.
00:22:22Definitely the dark-haired one.
00:22:24Really?
00:22:24Yeah.
00:22:25It's weird because I feel like I have two personalities.
00:22:29One's super sweet and one's like, don't fuck with me.
00:22:33Are you, like, on the border at all times?
00:22:36Yeah, most of the time.
00:22:37Not right now, probably.
00:22:39Right now, I'm pretty chill.
00:22:41What sets you off into like, okay, now I'm going to super kick you?
00:22:45When people ask me the same questions multiple different times and stress me out.
00:22:50So what pushes you past the border?
00:22:52Like, what makes you say, I want to super kick you?
00:22:56She just comes over and just punches me in the face.
00:23:01I don't know.
00:23:02It's just like, ask me a dumb question one more time, sort of thing.
00:23:06We're not going to do it.
00:23:07We're not going to do it the new way.
00:23:08Wait, but since you, this is an interesting, you know, conversation around appearance and how your outward appearance makes you
00:23:17feel about yourself in an inward way.
00:23:19Now that you are embodying the look that you think reflects you most authentically, have you noticed an increase in
00:23:26your confidence levels and in how you're able to conduct yourself based on your new look?
00:23:30Yeah, yeah, a hundred percent.
00:23:32It's funny because I go back to the Mae Young Classic one where that first photo was from.
00:23:38And I was so scared to not fit in.
00:23:44Like, I would go shopping every single week.
00:23:46I had no money, absolutely no money when I first moved here.
00:23:50And I would make it a weekly thing where I would go out to the shops and try and find
00:23:57something that I could wear to the NXT tapings that would fit in with the other girls, but also look
00:24:04pretty, but then suit my broad shoulders and my body shape.
00:24:07And it was so difficult that most of the time I'd be in the in the room getting changed, like
00:24:13crying to myself, hating myself for wanting to wear these things where now it's like I've accepted what is me
00:24:22and how I want to dress and how I want to be and how I want to act.
00:24:26And I definitely do feel a lot more confident even going out there in front of the crowds on Monday
00:24:31and sometimes Friday and it was NXT for a little bit as well.
00:24:34But like going out there, cutting the promos, feeling comfortable in what I'm wearing, how I move, a bit of
00:24:40everything, really.
00:24:41It's just I've unlocked that side of me that I was hiding for so long.
00:24:46And it feels really nice to just be me pretty much.
00:24:49It's funny that when you find that authenticity, it's when you start to skyrocket, you know.
00:24:55And I feel like a lot of people in our industry, our industry, when they enter, they'll emulate, you know,
00:25:05and I'm even doing it a little bit, but I'm doing it less and less.
00:25:09And I'm finding kind of like how I fit and who I am in relation to the industry.
00:25:13But it's kind of mimicking someone you see or looked up to or the person to your left or right
00:25:20when really it's all in here.
00:25:21You just got to kind of find it and be that.
00:25:24Drew, I think McIntyre is doing a great job of it right now.
00:25:29He's doing an excellent job.
00:25:30I spoke with him briefly a while ago and I was like, bro, the way you're using social media is
00:25:35excellent.
00:25:37And you do a good job too.
00:25:38And that's what I wanted to say.
00:25:40It's like, you know how to interact with fans.
00:25:43You know how to tweet.
00:25:44Your tweets go crazy.
00:25:46How much do you prioritize you as a wrestler and that's your job and you're going to go out there
00:25:52and kick some ass.
00:25:53But then you're going to go home and, you know, post your photo and get the engagement and rile up
00:25:56your online fans as well.
00:25:58To be honest, I don't really think about it too much.
00:26:01To be completely honest, like I hate social media.
00:26:05Okay.
00:26:06All right.
00:26:06I'm sorry.
00:26:07Sorry for the question.
00:26:08Was that a dumb question?
00:26:11I might hurt you later.
00:26:12No, you're good.
00:26:13No, it's like I'm someone that is so against social media, but it's such a great platform for what we
00:26:19do.
00:26:19So we need it.
00:26:21So when I'm home, like I try and relax and buddy's actually Matt.
00:26:26Sorry, I will call him Max.
00:26:27That's what I'm used to saying.
00:26:28But Matt, he's got me used to coming home and sort of turning my work brain off a little bit
00:26:34so I can actually relax.
00:26:35Because I went through like a whole stage when I first came here where like I couldn't turn off.
00:26:39It was always work, work, work, and I was never relaxing and the years were going by so quickly.
00:26:43So he helps me relax.
00:26:46Every now and then I go on social media and I do check it out.
00:26:48And I like seeing like all the fan stuff and sharing it, reposting it.
00:26:55But when it comes to my posts, like I'll just find a photo every now and then.
00:26:58I'm like my brain's like it works in a weird way where I can just think of like the cheekiest
00:27:02PG but non-PG sort of things to post.
00:27:06And it's like the first thing that pops in my head.
00:27:08I'm like, yep, sick.
00:27:09And it's just it's something that I guess connects well with my audience.
00:27:13Speaking of cheeky posts, Covalent TV tweeted, we've seen this picture circulating here on X.
00:27:19We wonder why.
00:27:20Oh, gosh.
00:27:21And you responded.
00:27:22You said cheeky.
00:27:23So I'm guessing it's my butt.
00:27:24I don't know.
00:27:25I don't know.
00:27:26You responded.
00:27:27You're welcome.
00:27:29This emoji.
00:27:32Peach.
00:27:33What did you mean by that?
00:27:36My butt's out.
00:27:38Oh, I didn't even notice that.
00:27:41I can't see butts because I have a girlfriend.
00:27:43So I don't even know if that part of the body even existed anymore.
00:27:47To me, it's just legs are attached to it.
00:27:49I was like, what is she?
00:27:50Cheeky.
00:27:50Cheeky in multiple different ways.
00:27:52But you are like kind of like sassy on Twitter a little bit.
00:27:57Oh, a little bit.
00:27:57And people like it.
00:27:58You have to be.
00:27:59I snap at people.
00:28:00Yeah, you do.
00:28:01It gets crazy engagement.
00:28:02Yeah, because people need to be put in their place every now and then.
00:28:04They think it's okay.
00:28:06Yeah, dude.
00:28:07Xers?
00:28:07X.
00:28:08X is crazy.
00:28:09X is crazy.
00:28:10It's crazy.
00:28:11If you like look at like a, not to get it too crazy with it, but if you look at
00:28:15like
00:28:15a chart of like the crazier sites, X is like pretty wild.
00:28:19It's pretty nuts.
00:28:20Yeah.
00:28:20And like I feel like people just want to go on there to be negative.
00:28:23You know, I noticed that too.
00:28:24I was really like kind of like looking through some of the stuff today and it's like you wake
00:28:27up and like I've had to stop myself from waking up in the morning and the first thing I do
00:28:31is like grab and look at notifications and see like what's being said.
00:28:35Sometimes I'll wake up and just like scroll down my notifications and just see this stuff
00:28:39and I'm like, why is everyone so angry?
00:28:42Yeah.
00:28:42You know what I'm saying?
00:28:43Like, I mean, I get in.
00:28:44I know there's like a lot of subconscious and like different reasons for people to be
00:28:47angry in this world.
00:28:48Some people are having a real rough time out there, but I just don't remember a time
00:28:51in my life where I ever was like, oh, I know what will make me feel better by saying
00:28:55someone's fat or stupid.
00:28:57You know what I'm saying?
00:28:57But it's like if they're going through such hard times, why try and make someone else's
00:29:01life hard if you know what it feels like?
00:29:04Hurt people.
00:29:04You know, that's a level of emotional intelligence I don't think a lot of people have.
00:29:07Yeah.
00:29:07It's called empathy.
00:29:08Well, and a lot of younger people don't have too.
00:29:10I think empathy is something and graciousness and kindness is something that a lot of people
00:29:15grow into.
00:29:16For sure.
00:29:16So and since social media is such a youth inhabited, you know, scenario, it's you do see a lot
00:29:22of that nasty stuff because they don't understand how bad their words could, if not hurt, at
00:29:27least affect people's day and their psyche and their subconscious.
00:29:30So, yeah, you're very right in trying to limit the time that is not related to work, finance
00:29:37or that kind of thing and just putting it aside because it can fuck with you a lot.
00:29:40Yeah.
00:29:41Well, it happens in real life as well and especially in our industry.
00:29:48And I mean, you get booed sometimes as part of the business.
00:29:51And you stood up for Maxine Dupree.
00:29:53This tweet, this tweet went well.
00:29:55And you said as she was getting booed, leaving the arena, you said, I really wish that some
00:29:59of you got booed and ridiculed in the public eye while being new at your job.
00:30:02Learning and getting better is all a part of being human.
00:30:05Be better as humans.
00:30:06Yeah.
00:30:07Yeah.
00:30:08I'm over seeing, especially in our profession.
00:30:12I know it happens in like a few different ones, but I see ours because I'm in it.
00:30:15And the people that are coming up in the business that are just trying their best to get better
00:30:21and do well and connect with the audience, they just get ridiculed and like pretty much
00:30:25bullied.
00:30:26Like some guys yelled out, like go away and don't come back or something like that.
00:30:29And it's like, that's not even booing the character because they're bad.
00:30:34It's like you're targeting the person and their abilities.
00:30:38It's past buying your ticket so you can boo the wrestlers.
00:30:42You're just being a dick at this point.
00:30:44Like you want to affect someone.
00:30:47You're actually trying to hurt someone.
00:30:48Yeah, legit.
00:30:49And that's what some people don't understand when I shared it.
00:30:52Cause it's like, yeah, it's all good and fine to boo the characters and boo the wrestlers
00:30:58and all that stuff.
00:30:59But like, if you can see that someone's actually trying and, and they're a true baby face, you
00:31:04know, there's someone that a lot of people got behind at the very start saying she's amazing.
00:31:08She's growing so well.
00:31:09It's like, as soon as she has one bad thing happen, they turn straight away.
00:31:14And that's, I guess that's the fans in.
00:31:17I was going to play devil's advocate for one second.
00:31:19Part of me again, being the new guy, trying to understand who these people are and when
00:31:25what they're doing thinks that they buy their ticket and they come to those shows to let
00:31:30out whatever they have inside them that has been building up all week.
00:31:33And a lot of times it's probably anger, probably frustration.
00:31:37And it feels good to tell someone they suck and cheer for the person you love.
00:31:40But it's funny cause they can dish it, but they can't take it.
00:31:43Facts.
00:31:44Yeah.
00:31:44That's the thing.
00:31:45Yeah.
00:31:45If you're going to dish it, you better take it too.
00:31:47Because if I find it on Twitter on X, yeah, you're going to smoke them.
00:31:50Oh, I'm going to smoke you.
00:31:51But it's hard to smoke people that have animes, characters, you know what I'm saying?
00:31:56And their name is Ballsy McJugger Nuggets.
00:31:59You know what I'm saying?
00:32:00Like how do you smoke, how do you make fun of their anime picture?
00:32:03Also like, why do people, this is the thing, like, why can't those people that are angry
00:32:07all week that have been bobbled up inside, right?
00:32:09Why can't they just go with a sign that says, I'm angry?
00:32:12Legit.
00:32:13You know what I'm saying?
00:32:13And just scream that out.
00:32:15Like, I'm angry.
00:32:16Because that's kind of weird, I guess, right?
00:32:18Like, if you just saw someone, like, explaining that over and over again.
00:32:22But, like, that's why, like, the heels are in the business too.
00:32:26Like, why are you choosing the one straight baby face that's just trying to do better?
00:32:31Why are you choosing that person to boo and ridicule?
00:32:34Also, also, it's, she's a girl.
00:32:37And this is like a grown man.
00:32:38A full grown man.
00:32:40Like a fully grown man.
00:32:41And just, this young woman just trying to do her job.
00:32:43Like, you suck and don't come back.
00:32:46Legit.
00:32:47Neil, who's my security, he's the big guy, said that at Elimination Chamber, when they
00:32:52were walking me out, there was, you know, I'm a heel.
00:32:55I was getting booed.
00:32:56Great.
00:32:56But there was one guy, the way he described him to me is, was pure, from the heart, rage.
00:33:06Like, almost needs to be sent to, like, some sort of clinic.
00:33:10Rage.
00:33:10And some people, like, just have that in them.
00:33:13Oh, they really do.
00:33:14That's why they're there.
00:33:15They really do.
00:33:16And that's, it's scary.
00:33:17He kept me away from that guy.
00:33:19Good on you.
00:33:21You also made a little bit of the rounds on Twitter for being harassed at the airport.
00:33:28Oh, yeah.
00:33:29Which was, like, a thing for you.
00:33:30Yeah.
00:33:31It got crazy.
00:33:32Fans would buy tickets just to meet you before your gate, and they wouldn't take the flight.
00:33:38Yeah.
00:33:38And get refunded their tickets.
00:33:39Yeah.
00:33:39So, there was a couple flights where we had connections, and we'd land in our connection
00:33:43with, like, 30 minutes to an hour to, like, try and get to our next gate.
00:33:48And you'd walk out from your gate, and there'd be people standing there.
00:33:51Yeah, they knew.
00:33:52And you're like, what are you doing?
00:33:53I'm angry.
00:33:54I'm angry.
00:33:57Signed my poster.
00:33:58And it's got to be kind of tough for you, too, because, like, I look at something like
00:34:03what you guys do versus an internet personality or something like that.
00:34:08Our characters, when we do this type of stuff, are so interwoven.
00:34:13And so, like, there's no split whatsoever.
00:34:17Like, if somebody hates your online personality, in reality, like, if you're someone like me,
00:34:22they really just hate me.
00:34:23You know what I'm saying?
00:34:24Because I'm just exactly who I am here as I am in real life for the most part.
00:34:28But does it give you any kind of, like, you know, refuge, knowing that they are just
00:34:35angry or disliking your character and not you as a person?
00:34:38I mean, some of them don't like me as a person, too.
00:34:41I'm so sorry.
00:34:42No, you're good.
00:34:43Something's happening.
00:34:44Well, you're just not built for showbiz.
00:34:46Maybe you need to drink some prime.
00:34:50What did you say?
00:34:51Maybe you're not built for showbiz.
00:34:53What the fuck?
00:34:54Where's manager Jeff?
00:34:55I'm not.
00:34:58Sorry.
00:34:58You good, fam?
00:34:59Yeah.
00:35:01About being harassed.
00:35:05Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of people that, because I am very real on my social media,
00:35:10too.
00:35:10Like, yes, there is some, like, Rhea Ripley things that I have to post, but I am very,
00:35:14like, me on it as well.
00:35:17So a lot of people hate me for that.
00:35:19But it is what it is at the end of the day.
00:35:22I don't know.
00:35:23It's just such a strong word.
00:35:24Like, no one hates you.
00:35:25Who hates you and why?
00:35:26Why do they hate you?
00:35:27I don't know.
00:35:28I've given them plenty of reasons.
00:35:29I understand that.
00:35:30Why, on God's green earth, would anyone actually hate you?
00:35:33I don't know.
00:35:34I don't know.
00:35:35You beat their favorite.
00:35:35You beat Bianca.
00:35:36Yeah, that's probably why.
00:35:38100%.
00:35:38Yeah, that's very true.
00:35:39100%.
00:35:40Even if it's just, like, things that I've said or posted, like, from years ago or anything,
00:35:47they just find anything.
00:35:48I'm like, you know, people grow, right?
00:35:50Like, people change.
00:35:51They open up.
00:35:53They become a better version of themselves along the line.
00:35:56Like, people change.
00:35:59It's just strange, too, because, like, there's so much, like, dislike or disapproval without
00:36:06actually having met someone, too.
00:36:08Like, that's a funny thing.
00:36:09Like, all of those people that claim online, like, they don't like you or, you know, wouldn't
00:36:14get along with you or aren't a fan of your style.
00:36:16When you meet them in real life, they walk away from that experience saying, wow, like,
00:36:20I was wrong about that person.
00:36:21Hopefully.
00:36:22There are some people in the space that probably don't give that, but I've never had someone
00:36:25walk away from an interaction with, you know, us and say, like, oh, wow, he's exactly what
00:36:29I, he's an asshole.
00:36:30It's funny, because, yeah, they come up to you expecting you to be a prick to them, and
00:36:33you're like, hi, how are you?
00:36:34And they're like, what?
00:36:35Well, how do I deal with this?
00:36:36Cannot compute.
00:36:37Yeah, exactly.
00:36:38Killing people with kindness is, is, is, it's the way to go.
00:36:41There's pleasure in that.
00:36:42Yeah.
00:36:42Oh, my God, he's not an asshole?
00:36:44Yeah.
00:36:44What the fuck?
00:36:45No, but killing people with kindness is, is like a methodology of, like, of a, a pursuit
00:36:50of a victory.
00:36:51Like, we're, like, actually, I'll speak for myself.
00:36:54I've, no, I've sat with you for a little while here.
00:36:56You seem to be a kind, but I'm a kind person.
00:36:58Like, I don't put on a show.
00:36:59I don't do it for the interaction.
00:37:01Yeah.
00:37:01That's just how I am.
00:37:02It's just me, yeah.
00:37:03You know, and that's, I think, what you get when you have a conversation with a lot of
00:37:05people, and it sucks that there's a, you know, sometimes a general misconception, and that's
00:37:10always been one of the things that I've had trouble with, and I'd like to ask you about
00:37:13it, is being misunderstood.
00:37:16Has that, has that troubled you in your, in career, in your career?
00:37:22Or you don't give a single shit?
00:37:23I just don't feel like I really care.
00:37:26Yeah.
00:37:26I don't know.
00:37:27It probably would have bothered me earlier on, but I can't really remember too much, to
00:37:31be completely honest.
00:37:32I was also a baby face for like the longest time.
00:37:34So I've only been a heel for like really six months to a year of my career.
00:37:41Would you say you're a heel now?
00:37:43I do some pretty dastardly things, but I get cheered for it.
00:37:47You get cheered, yeah.
00:37:48Yeah.
00:37:48So I don't know.
00:37:49I'm a bit of a tweener, I want to say.
00:37:51Yeah, tweener.
00:37:51You're a tweener.
00:37:52Yeah.
00:37:52What piercing hurt the most?
00:37:54That was such a strange change in conversation.
00:37:58I'm warming up.
00:37:59What piercing hurt the most?
00:38:02Probably my belly button.
00:38:03Oh, actually, no, that's a lie.
00:38:05Uh-oh.
00:38:06My nipples.
00:38:08Oh, yeah.
00:38:10That's got to hurt.
00:38:11That hurt.
00:38:11I don't want to be intrusive, but are they still pierced at the moment?
00:38:16And you wrestle with it?
00:38:17No, you got to take them out.
00:38:18Oh, you don't take them out?
00:38:19I don't take anything out.
00:38:20That's crazy.
00:38:21Yeah.
00:38:22I got my nipple pierced for a vlog.
00:38:24Oh, it hurts, dude.
00:38:25It hurt like a month.
00:38:28That was the goth vlog, right?
00:38:29Yeah, the goth vlog, yeah.
00:38:30Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:38:31And you only got one, right?
00:38:32One nipple.
00:38:32Yeah, because when you get the first one, you're like, I don't want to go through that again.
00:38:35No, no, no.
00:38:36I did it four times, pretty much.
00:38:38You have four nipples?
00:38:38Well, no, because I got them done twice.
00:38:40Oh.
00:38:41What?
00:38:41Oh.
00:38:42Yeah.
00:38:42God.
00:38:42Wait, oh, they're double pierced?
00:38:44No, no, no.
00:38:45They got one, but it was like-
00:38:46Take it out, closed up, put it back.
00:38:47Yeah, so this is very like, you know, sorry.
00:38:49My fans are going to like this conversation.
00:38:51I think ours probably will, too.
00:38:53Probably.
00:38:54But like, I got them done, right?
00:38:56And the lady that did them, she used a small bar, and it was a thinner bar than what was
00:39:02supposed to be in there.
00:39:03So obviously, like, when you get a piercing, it swells up.
00:39:07Started to eat the bloody bar and the ball on the end.
00:39:09So I had to go, like, three days later to another piercer, and they had to stretch them
00:39:14like my ears.
00:39:15So it was pretty much getting it done twice.
00:39:18Whoa.
00:39:18It sounds worse than getting them done twice.
00:39:20It was horrible.
00:39:21Yeah, it sounds like, I don't even know how to address what you just said.
00:39:24It wasn't fun.
00:39:24I can't believe you wrestled with them, man.
00:39:26Yeah, I think I'm just so used to it now.
00:39:29I pitched my fiance.
00:39:30I said, hey, I want to get my nipple pierced again for wrestling.
00:39:34I think it gave me some edge.
00:39:35Yeah.
00:39:35Like, you got tattoos.
00:39:37All of these wrestlers that got tattoos, they got the self-tanner on, and so I'm trying to
00:39:41figure out where I can get my edge, because I got nothing.
00:39:44I assure you, it's not getting your nipple pierced.
00:39:47That's what Nina said.
00:39:49And I will second to Nina.
00:39:51And if anyone in the comments wants to support or get some, I'm just saying.
00:39:55I don't know.
00:39:56It looks good.
00:39:57There's got to be a different way.
00:39:59What about the Tyson tattoo?
00:40:01Oh, God.
00:40:03Nina might not go for that.
00:40:04I mean, that won't get caught on anything, to be fair.
00:40:07I feel like nipple is probably not the best way to go if you're a male.
00:40:11Yeah.
00:40:12Just because it gets caught on things so easily.
00:40:14I get to wear a bra.
00:40:15You guys don't.
00:40:17Unless you want to.
00:40:17He could.
00:40:18He could.
00:40:18What if I do?
00:40:19You won't sit here on my show and tell me what I cannot wear.
00:40:24I'd love to see it.
00:40:25Yeah.
00:40:26It'd be great.
00:40:26Yeah.
00:40:27Maybe we should get Logan in a bra, guys.
00:40:28I'll do it for fun.
00:40:29No, it doesn't fit my character.
00:40:32What about shaving your head?
00:40:35Oh.
00:40:36I feel like I'm balding a little bit.
00:40:39That's what we all are.
00:40:40I mean, I went to Turkey and got my hair done.
00:40:43I need a pop to Turkey.
00:40:45We can go whenever you want.
00:40:46What do you think about balding?
00:40:47Balding?
00:40:48Are you a fan?
00:40:49I think it's fine.
00:40:50Just shave it.
00:40:50Accept it.
00:40:51Okay.
00:40:52Be you, like we said.
00:40:53Be you.
00:40:54There's a moment when you shave your head where you don't know what it's going to look like.
00:40:58Oh, yeah.
00:40:59And so I did it when I went to Turkey and I looked in the mirror and they were like,
00:41:03wow,
00:41:04this is great.
00:41:05Like, because I also have a beard.
00:41:06Yeah.
00:41:07So it looked really good.
00:41:08Yeah.
00:41:08And I was like, oh, maybe I don't, we don't do the surgery now.
00:41:12Because they're about to like do.
00:41:13Yeah, you did look good with it.
00:41:14Yeah.
00:41:14Yeah.
00:41:15They're about to do this intense bloody surgery.
00:41:17I was like, oh, this is actually kind of dope.
00:41:19So you kind of, you kind of have to try.
00:41:20No, I did when I was a sophomore in high school, I looked like a thumb.
00:41:25Like a thumb thumb from Spikids.
00:41:27Yeah, exactly.
00:41:29But you had no beard.
00:41:30You had no beard.
00:41:31The beard changes everything.
00:41:33The beard changes everything, bro.
00:41:35If you don't have a beard and you have a shaved head, it's tough, dude.
00:41:40It's tough.
00:41:42So no nipple piercing.
00:41:44Bruh.
00:41:45And it's too late to get tattoos because I'll just, people already think I'm Jake Paul.
00:41:48Do you know the amount of people that have congratulated me for my Mike Tyson fight?
00:41:53Really?
00:41:53It is sick though.
00:41:54Oh, congrats.
00:41:55Yo, I'm not.
00:41:56It is really cool.
00:41:57Yo, the amount of people that are tweeting, they're like, yo, Logan Paul's going to get
00:41:59his ass beat.
00:42:00I'm like, you stupid motherfucker.
00:42:01It says on the gosh dang poster, Jake Paul.
00:42:04We don't even look like he's got tattoos all over his body.
00:42:08So I can't get any because if I do, I'll just.
00:42:11Then you're definitely going to get comparisons.
00:42:12Really confused.
00:42:13Yeah, they are never able to keep you guys apart.
00:42:15That's so strange though.
00:42:15People come up to me all the time.
00:42:16They're like, you know, you're on the show with the WWE, Jake, right?
00:42:21Like it's always like.
00:42:22Really?
00:42:22Yeah.
00:42:23They're just not very good at.
00:42:24Yeah.
00:42:25And articles, Nina, it says Nina's fiance, Jake Paul.
00:42:29Wild.
00:42:29That's so strange.
00:42:29Cause like you guys look the same a little bit cause you're brothers, but like you look
00:42:33completely different at the same time.
00:42:34I agree.
00:42:35Your sister was, uh, right behind my, my pod at the elimination chamber.
00:42:42Um, she looks exactly like the photo you showed just before, just with the, she does
00:42:46look like that.
00:42:46Yeah.
00:42:47Oh my gosh.
00:42:47Yeah.
00:42:48Yeah.
00:42:48She was right there.
00:42:49And she, she did, I think her friend did like a heart.
00:42:54It was like an Australian heart.
00:42:56I think it was like.
00:42:56An Australian heart.
00:42:57Cause like, you know, normally you see like this.
00:42:59This one.
00:42:59But she did like this.
00:43:01And I remember that I was like, oh, that's right there.
00:43:04Got the seats.
00:43:05And then Kevin's who, but, ah, I'm remembering now.
00:43:10Kevin and your sister got into a little, a little fight.
00:43:13Did you hear about this?
00:43:14No.
00:43:15Yeah.
00:43:15What?
00:43:16Yeah.
00:43:17How?
00:43:18Huh?
00:43:18Oh, it was your sister's friend or something.
00:43:21Apparently he kept like standing up in their way to get the shot to get the, I'm sorry.
00:43:26We needed the shot.
00:43:27I'm a content whore.
00:43:28I need my footage.
00:43:30And, uh, and she said something to him like, hey, get out of the way.
00:43:33Whatever.
00:43:33And Kevin's like, I'm doing my job.
00:43:36That's amazing.
00:43:37I'm sorry.
00:43:38No, no, it's fine.
00:43:39It's fine.
00:43:39It's, it's your family.
00:43:40But I'll be honest.
00:43:41We, we got some good footage there.
00:43:43Yeah.
00:43:43Drawing in the chamber.
00:43:44Oh, it was great.
00:43:45That is my most viewed video of all time.
00:43:48One of them.
00:43:48Is it?
00:43:48Top three.
00:43:49More than my engagement.
00:43:50Really?
00:43:50I can't believe it.
00:43:51Just you drawing some devil horns and writing a couple of things.
00:43:54Yep.
00:43:54Yep.
00:43:55It was really good though.
00:43:56Do you, how, how aggressive was the girl?
00:43:59Was it?
00:44:02I'm surprised it wasn't my mom.
00:44:04Really?
00:44:04Yeah.
00:44:05I'm surprised it was my friend and not my mom.
00:44:07She was like, oh my God.
00:44:08She was like saying something to the girl.
00:44:10I saw her like, oh, you gotta move or something.
00:44:13It's cause they're short.
00:44:15They probably couldn't see.
00:44:17I got a meta, a real meta question for both of you guys.
00:44:21Cause you just brought up that, uh, that drawing in the cage of the cell was like your,
00:44:26your most viewed video, right?
00:44:27More than your engagement video.
00:44:30Do you ever worry that people start to attach themselves to you so much as a WWE character
00:44:37that your real identity becomes lost and you, you simply are just this character?
00:44:42Like even, and I asked this of you too, you at one point in your life were a cherished,
00:44:46you know, content creator who's putting out videos and engaging with this audience as
00:44:50Logan Paul.
00:44:51And then you started a WWE character who is also named Logan Paul actually.
00:44:56So it doesn't work for you, for you, Rhea.
00:44:59Do you ever worry about losing your, your, your identity as a person?
00:45:04Um, yes and no.
00:45:06Uh, Rhea Ripley is pretty much just me, but it's the me that would get arrested
00:45:11in everyday life.
00:45:13That's awesome.
00:45:14That's awesome.
00:45:16That's sick.
00:45:17Damn.
00:45:18That's cool.
00:45:18I mean, it's true.
00:45:19So here's the part of you.
00:45:21It's a representation of a part of you.
00:45:22So you feel like that's enough of you to continue like your other identity has not
00:45:27been lost to the saints of time.
00:45:29Yeah.
00:45:29It definitely hasn't been lost.
00:45:32I mean, every now and then it actually feels nice to tune into Rhea Ripley because me as
00:45:39Demi Bennett, I'm not as confident.
00:45:43Rhea is the confident side of me.
00:45:45Um, where I, in everyday life, I'm not as confident.
00:45:49Um, I get like anxiety, a bit of everything really.
00:45:54So like sometimes I, I love tuning into the Rhea Ripley side of me and just like pretending
00:45:59like I'm that version of myself.
00:46:01Do you, do you ever have a, a flip scenario where since you know that you have such great
00:46:07confidence as Rhea Ripley where you show up for Thanksgiving, you know what I'm saying?
00:46:12And you're like, mommy's home, like, and just fucking pile drive your grandmother through
00:46:17the fucking table and just take a turkey leg and just start eating like this, you know
00:46:22what I'm saying?
00:46:23Like, cause you just love the character so much.
00:46:26I mean, sometimes I do get a little carried away, but it's fun.
00:46:30It's all fun.
00:46:31And like, exactly.
00:46:32And I feel like, cause I have the Italian side of me as well from mom's side.
00:46:36So Rhea Ripley is attached to that.
00:46:38So when I start arguing or trying to express something that is making me upset, I feel like
00:46:44Rhea Ripley comes out.
00:46:46I would not want to get in an argument with you.
00:46:48Yeah.
00:46:48And I, I express a lot with my hands.
00:46:50Like I guess you guys have noticed, but, um, I express a lot with my hands.
00:46:53So I get even more bigger and I just, yeah, I want to prove my point.
00:46:59Will you admit if you're wrong though?
00:47:01Um, yeah.
00:47:03I'm a little bit stubborn.
00:47:05Yeah.
00:47:05Sometimes I'll be like, damn.
00:47:06Um, and I'll be like, wait, let's see how long we can go.
00:47:09A lot of that would sound like you.
00:47:11Bro, I'll admit when I'm wrong.
00:47:14I'll admit when I'm wrong.
00:47:15The eye roller.
00:47:16He might take a second.
00:47:17Not to me.
00:47:17He's been, he's been with me forever.
00:47:19So he saw the version of me that would not admit to being wrong.
00:47:23Zero empathy.
00:47:24Just full on dickhead.
00:47:25But like now, bro, if I'm objectively wrong, I'll be like, you're right.
00:47:28Yeah, but yeah, but you, you, here's the thing.
00:47:31Most people will take like a general, uh, manual of evidence, like a 75% and be like, oh, this
00:47:39is swaying a counter my direction.
00:47:41So maybe I'm wrong here.
00:47:42He needs 99.9% proof.
00:47:45Like he needs you to really prove it.
00:47:48And then he'll be like, you know what?
00:47:49You've through your six hours of research and presentation.
00:47:53You've made your point.
00:47:54I'm wrong.
00:47:55Right.
00:47:55I feel like I'm like that too.
00:47:58Whatever.
00:47:59Uh, question.
00:48:00I'm sure you saw, uh, when Grayson Waller was in Australia doing some press for Elimination
00:48:07Chamber and the news anchor sort of pressed him to do a move.
00:48:12Yeah.
00:48:12Right.
00:48:13Kind of demeaning.
00:48:14Him in LA.
00:48:15Yeah.
00:48:16Yeah.
00:48:16LA night was on there and LA was like, yo, you, you, yeah, yeah.
00:48:20It's, uh, it's definitely an interesting world when, um, uh, a WWE star does traditional
00:48:27media and they definitely don't understand wrestling.
00:48:30And then that kind of conversation starts to happen.
00:48:35Two part question.
00:48:36What did you think of that?
00:48:37And then are you prepared to like handle a situation like that?
00:48:41It's hard.
00:48:42It's really hard.
00:48:43Cause like, you don't know which way to go with it.
00:48:47You know, that you obviously can't do the move.
00:48:49Why?
00:48:50Because you don't want to hurt someone.
00:48:51They can sue you.
00:48:52No, they can't.
00:48:53They totally can't.
00:48:54It's America.
00:48:55I was objectively wrong.
00:48:58Okay.
00:48:59Okay.
00:48:59But cause that would be my soul.
00:49:02Yeah.
00:49:02Just, I don't know.
00:49:03Take the lawsuit.
00:49:04You want to be a dickhead?
00:49:05Fine.
00:49:05I'm going to hit you with a European uppercut.
00:49:07Something light.
00:49:08Something light.
00:49:08Yeah.
00:49:09Just chop.
00:49:09It'll chop.
00:49:10It'll hurt.
00:49:11It'll hurt.
00:49:12And like, what are you going to, you're going to sue me for a chop?
00:49:16Yeah.
00:49:16Assault.
00:49:17What also, I feel like it also demeans.
00:49:19The business.
00:49:21Yeah, it does.
00:49:22Well, that's, that's what they're trying to do.
00:49:24100%.
00:49:24By asking those questions.
00:49:26They're making a joke out of it.
00:49:27And kind of prodding a wrestler.
00:49:28You know, like, I'm going to fight me, bro.
00:49:29Like, yo, do you want me to do a move?
00:49:32Because I can tell you firsthand as an outsider, the shit hurts.
00:49:35So you could do it.
00:49:38I don't know.
00:49:38You just do it.
00:49:40Take, take the L and make WWE pay for it.
00:49:42Say, I was protecting the sanctity of this company.
00:49:45You guys can blame me for that.
00:49:47Are you prepared, though?
00:49:49Like, what if someone impresses you?
00:49:50It gets that disrespectful.
00:49:52I mean, I feel like I would try and decline it as much as possible.
00:49:57And if they kept pestering, I'd probably end up doing something like what Grayson did.
00:50:01Especially, like, at the end of the day, it's disrespectful to the business.
00:50:06Especially when you keep prodding and asking.
00:50:09And, like, no is no.
00:50:12Just take a cue.
00:50:13Yeah.
00:50:14Like, I've already said no.
00:50:15And I'm just like, I'm not going to do it.
00:50:16Because I obviously, I don't want to hurt you.
00:50:18I could.
00:50:19But I don't want to.
00:50:21And you wanted me to come here so you could interview me.
00:50:27So I don't need this.
00:50:29I could leave.
00:50:30And I'll just leave.
00:50:31So that was fucking perfect.
00:50:33Just do that.
00:50:34Yeah.
00:50:34Do that.
00:50:35I mean, that's.
00:50:36You asked for mommy.
00:50:37Mommy didn't ask for you.
00:50:38All of it.
00:50:39Yeah.
00:50:40Do that.
00:50:41It's stupid.
00:50:42And then walk.
00:50:43Yeah.
00:50:43Yeah.
00:50:44It's that, like, RKO me, bro situation.
00:50:47Like, we talked about this.
00:50:48Like, it's not.
00:50:49It's not like a.
00:50:51You can't do it.
00:50:52Somebody's going to hurt.
00:50:52I'm happy that she told you that was the right answer.
00:50:54Because I could see you body slamming.
00:50:57A grandma.
00:50:57Yo.
00:50:58I swear to God.
00:50:59If someone's like.
00:50:59Yo, let's do a move on me, bro.
00:51:01I'll be like.
00:51:01Okay.
00:51:03I got the funds.
00:51:05Or.
00:51:06Or.
00:51:06That's the.
00:51:07That's my solve.
00:51:08You do what you did.
00:51:09Oh, hey.
00:51:12Bro.
00:51:13Have liability waivers.
00:51:14From every tradition.
00:51:15For every traditional shoot that we go to.
00:51:17With interviews.
00:51:18Just in case.
00:51:19Just in case.
00:51:19Just in case.
00:51:20Like, swear.
00:51:20Just in case.
00:51:21That's a sick idea.
00:51:22Have one on your phone.
00:51:24DocuSign.
00:51:24Ready to go.
00:51:25If someone prods me, I'll go.
00:51:26This is perfect.
00:51:27And also.
00:51:28Sign this.
00:51:28Death waiver.
00:51:29Yeah.
00:51:30No, no, no.
00:51:31And also wear a suit.
00:51:32And have a briefcase.
00:51:33Like.
00:51:33And that's your main role.
00:51:35Like you wear a pair of glasses.
00:51:37You know what I'm saying?
00:51:38All right.
00:51:39They'll never see that coming.
00:51:40And then.
00:51:41What should I hit him with?
00:51:43Running power slam.
00:51:46So you just pick him up.
00:51:47And just.
00:51:48Yeah.
00:51:48Yeah.
00:51:48Yeah.
00:51:48Yeah.
00:51:49Sweet chain music.
00:51:51Suplex.
00:51:53I'm going to fuck someone up, man.
00:51:55Clip it.
00:51:56This is where Ria came up with the idea.
00:51:58Me.
00:51:58Good job.
00:51:59Thanks.
00:52:00Ria, do you hate superlative questions?
00:52:02Like.
00:52:03Where we ask you about your favorite things.
00:52:05Or do you think they're fun?
00:52:06I don't hate them.
00:52:07It just might take me a second.
00:52:08Because I am not very good at on the spot questions.
00:52:11Okay.
00:52:12Imagine.
00:52:13You're traveling through North Dakota.
00:52:16I think.
00:52:17Maybe.
00:52:17North Dakota?
00:52:18South Dakota?
00:52:18Could be South.
00:52:19It's one of the Dakotas.
00:52:20And you appear at this glass fence.
00:52:22And you pay the $5 for a ticket.
00:52:24And you look up.
00:52:25And there it is.
00:52:26Mount Rushmore.
00:52:27But it's Mount Rushmore of women's WWE wrestlers.
00:52:32Who's on it?
00:52:35Oh, man.
00:52:36I mean, I've got to put mommy on it.
00:52:38Yeah.
00:52:38I've got to.
00:52:39Yeah.
00:52:41And then, I don't know.
00:52:43I'd probably go Bianca.
00:52:46Love Bianca.
00:52:50Probably Becky.
00:52:51Right now we've got beef.
00:52:53But I'd go Becky.
00:52:55And my arch nemesis, Charlotte, probably.
00:52:58See, that's an interesting answer.
00:53:00Because I was going to ask you earlier.
00:53:01I know a lot of these people are your ops, technically.
00:53:04But I was going to ask you if there was anyone right now that you look to as like, damn,
00:53:10what they're doing for the sport right now is just incredible.
00:53:12That you're watching and learning from.
00:53:15And just currently at this moment in March of 2024 just intrigued by everything they're doing.
00:53:23I mean, there's a lot.
00:53:25There's a lot.
00:53:25Everyone is working so extremely hard and they're hitting different parts of this business.
00:53:32Bianca is always one that I look at.
00:53:34Because she not only rocks up every single week to TV and does what she needs to do and absolutely
00:53:41knocks it out of the park.
00:53:42But she also does everything behind the scenes, too.
00:53:45Like, she's going to all the media events.
00:53:47She's doing all these interviews.
00:53:49She's just a very fantastic businesswoman.
00:53:53And she's probably the perfect person for it as well.
00:53:55Because she's so well-spoken and she's so polite and just smart.
00:54:01So I would go Bianca, for sure.
00:54:03I wish I could articulate things the way she does.
00:54:07I'm not too good with the words, you know?
00:54:09I disagree.
00:54:10Yeah, that's not true.
00:54:10Yeah, you articulate well.
00:54:12Oh, thanks.
00:54:12Very well.
00:54:13Your promos are excellent.
00:54:14And that's the hardest part about our business, as you know.
00:54:17A lot of great athletes.
00:54:18The promo's out of the heart.
00:54:19When you get on the mic, that's what separates you.
00:54:21Yep.
00:54:22How did you conquer that?
00:54:24It's very hard.
00:54:25It's very hard.
00:54:26I feel like joining the Judgment Day helped a lot.
00:54:30A lot.
00:54:30You could fall back on people.
00:54:32Yep.
00:54:32Trust your homies.
00:54:33Exactly.
00:54:34So when I first entered with Edge and Damien, what better person to fall back on than Edge?
00:54:40And also Damien, he was better than me, but he was still learning, but he was still better than me.
00:54:45So I felt comfortable, even though most of the time I didn't know what the hell I was saying,
00:54:49because we used a lot bigger words when Edge was in the faction.
00:54:52I was like, I don't know what the word means, but I'm going to try and say it.
00:54:56I feel like if I did forget where I was going or got lost along the way, I could fall
00:55:03back on them boys,
00:55:03and they would have my back, and they remembered my part of the promo too,
00:55:07so they could honestly just say what I was going to say.
00:55:09And then obviously we grew, and Edge, we kicked him out, and Finn joined,
00:55:15and then obviously Dom and JD came along.
00:55:17And I feel like every time I got to go out there with them,
00:55:20it was just joking and talking with friends.
00:55:24You know, like they were always there, and we were just looking at each other.
00:55:28It was like a rare time that I would look at the crowd.
00:55:31I would look at them and the main camera, and that's all I would really look at.
00:55:35So it just felt like I was joking around with them and talking with them.
00:55:38I'm so jealous.
00:55:39Yeah.
00:55:39I'm eager for that to happen.
00:55:41It's great, and it just makes you feel more comfortable and confident.
00:55:45And then you slowly get better at it because you're getting reps,
00:55:48and then next minute you know you're out there by yourself,
00:55:51and you're cutting an amazing promo.
00:55:53You're good at promos.
00:55:54What are you talking about?
00:55:55Thanks.
00:55:56I just know I can get so much better,
00:55:59and I always prefer like a back and forth versus just me out there.
00:56:04Thanks.
00:56:05That's Caleb.
00:56:07He is impulsive.
00:56:08He's like one of those people you were just talking about that we fall back on
00:56:11when we can't do our jobs.
00:56:13Yeah, that's Caleb.
00:56:16Yeah, it is R-Truth in the Judgment Day.
00:56:20Like what's the deal?
00:56:22Nah, fam.
00:56:22No?
00:56:23Nah.
00:56:23He thinks he is.
00:56:24He does.
00:56:26He does.
00:56:27Do you know about R-Truth?
00:56:28No.
00:56:29He is fucking hilarious.
00:56:33We all went to Australia for Elimination Chamber.
00:56:35There's a video of him in the car.
00:56:37He's like, I'm in Austria.
00:56:38Where is everybody?
00:56:42At the Women's Royal Rumble,
00:56:45like number 20 hit,
00:56:47and he came out,
00:56:48and he is in the ring.
00:56:49He's like,
00:56:52and then he got,
00:56:53I think he got rocked by somebody,
00:56:55no?
00:56:55Or did he just leave?
00:56:57Probably Naya, wasn't it?
00:56:58Yeah, I think that might have been.
00:56:59Why does he kind of sound like the me?
00:57:01He is.
00:57:01He is.
00:57:01That's exactly what he is.
00:57:02He's very funny.
00:57:09Dude, he is very funny.
00:57:11He's great.
00:57:12Okay, but he's not.
00:57:12Okay.
00:57:13Yeah.
00:57:14He's too funny, I feel.
00:57:15Yeah, he is.
00:57:16We have to be taken seriously, you know?
00:57:18Yeah, so when is Damien going to cash in that money in the bank?
00:57:21I don't know.
00:57:21We're still waiting for the perfect opportunity.
00:57:23Perfect time.
00:57:24Everything, all the stars have to align, you know?
00:57:26Yeah.
00:57:29I'd watch out if I were you.
00:57:31He going to come for my title?
00:57:33I don't know.
00:57:34They're all up for grabs, Sam.
00:57:35Oh, come on.
00:57:36They're all up for grabs.
00:57:37You never know.
00:57:38You never know.
00:57:39Get out of town.
00:57:40I mean, it is coveted, especially after all the things I've done with him, man.
00:57:44Oh, gosh.
00:57:45Nah, I mean, come on, me and this title, you know.
00:57:47Oh, we've seen the photos.
00:57:48Put some prestige on his name.
00:57:50It's crazy to have that just for the United States and all, but not like any of the other.
00:57:57Yeah, mine's the world.
00:57:58Oh, I know.
00:57:59Yeah, thanks.
00:57:59Yeah, no worries.
00:58:00Yeah, but also, guess who got it here for you?
00:58:02Yeah, I did.
00:58:03Yeah, thanks.
00:58:04I did, and I want to show you something.
00:58:06Did you take a photo of my title?
00:58:07Yes, I did.
00:58:09I absolutely did.
00:58:10I'll tell you why I did.
00:58:13It's right there.
00:58:14It's actually not a great.
00:58:15Where?
00:58:16It's right there.
00:58:18Where?
00:58:19It was in our group chat, right?
00:58:20Yeah, there you go.
00:58:21Oh.
00:58:22It's not a great photo, but I definitely was enjoying my time.
00:58:25Double champ.
00:58:26Champ, champ.
00:58:26Champ, champ.
00:58:27Yeah, because I'll tell you what.
00:58:30This is going to get cut.
00:58:32I'm not going to say it.
00:58:33I'm not going to say it.
00:58:35But if I want to identify as both the male and female champion, I'm going to fucking do it.
00:58:39You can.
00:58:39It's 2024.
00:58:40I'll do whatever I want.
00:58:41You can do that.
00:58:43Demonstrate.
00:58:44No, you can't.
00:58:46You can't do that.
00:58:47I'll tell you why.
00:58:48Because I think sports is where we're going to draw the line on that, unfortunately.
00:58:52We don't have to have this conversation.
00:58:53I wrestled Tozawa.
00:58:54What did you say?
00:58:55I wrestled Tozawa on Raw.
00:58:58Maybe Logan and I can have a custody of Dominic Mysterio match.
00:59:01Yo, that would be insane.
00:59:05Get ready to get your ass beat.
00:59:07Custody.
00:59:08Yo, I'm ready.
00:59:11Now, I'm going to be respectful because you're our guest and I'm not going to do it.
00:59:16I'm not going to do what you do when you cross that line and you become Rhea Ripley.
00:59:22Right now, you're being a little Demi and it's good.
00:59:24But I'm not going to do it because I respect you.
00:59:27It's because you're scared.
00:59:29I'm not scared.
00:59:31I'm not scared.
00:59:31There's one person who I'm slightly concerned and that's as far as I'll go, as far as fear goes.
00:59:39And that is Randy Orton.
00:59:42Yeah, that's fair.
00:59:44He's fucking huge.
00:59:46He's the Viper.
00:59:47He's a big boy.
00:59:47Yeah, he's massive.
00:59:49He's growing, it seems, exponentially.
00:59:53Vertically and horizontally.
00:59:54But, you know, I look forward to the challenge.
00:59:57I'm so ready to challenge myself and wrestle some of the best that they have.
01:00:02Because I think when you wrestle from that place of seriousness and you are coming from a place of like,
01:00:08okay, maybe I am a little scared.
01:00:11And for that reason, I'm going to fight for my life.
01:00:13You become an animal.
01:00:15I try.
01:00:16Yeah.
01:00:17Are you looking forward to the biggest WrestleMania ever?
01:00:21WrestleMania 40 in Philly.
01:00:23Oh, yeah.
01:00:23I am.
01:00:24I think it's going to be phenomenal.
01:00:26I think it's going to be absolutely insane.
01:00:29Yeah.
01:00:30And I can't wait to walk in with my Women's World Championship and walk out with my Women's World Championship.
01:00:35There she is.
01:00:35There she is.
01:00:36Any fear or uncertainty whatsoever about saying that?
01:00:40I mean, stepping in there with Becky Lynch, obviously, it's Becky Lynch.
01:00:47Like, she's made such a name for herself.
01:00:48She's accomplished so much and made so much history.
01:00:52But there's a reason why she wants this challenge is to prove to herself that she is still the best,
01:01:00which, unfortunately, for her, mommy is always on top.
01:01:05Oh, gosh.
01:01:05So it's going to be the same at WrestleMania 40.
01:01:09Here we go.
01:01:11Oh, it's going to be so good.
01:01:12It's going to be so good.
01:01:13Also, this will have already broken by now, but SummerSlam is in Cleveland.
01:01:19Oh, wow.
01:01:20I'm from Cleveland.
01:01:21Yes.
01:01:22Are you going to get booed in your own place?
01:01:25I don't know.
01:01:26I don't know.
01:01:26You should wrestle MGK at that event.
01:01:30I'll probably get him on my side.
01:01:31He's got to be.
01:01:32I'm going to summon all the Cleveland legends.
01:01:34All of them.
01:01:35Even LBJ.
01:01:36Kelsey Brothers.
01:01:37LeBron will get the invite.
01:01:38MGK.
01:01:39Everyone.
01:01:40Jake Paul.
01:01:42He'll be there for sure.
01:01:44For sure.
01:01:44Hey, you ever want to have kids?
01:01:46One day.
01:01:48Yeah.
01:01:48How will you wrestle when you're pregnant?
01:01:50Oh, well, I wouldn't wrestle while I was pregnant.
01:01:53Has it ever been done?
01:01:55Probably by accident.
01:01:57Yeah.
01:01:58Just not knowing.
01:02:01Yeah, 100%.
01:02:03Yeah.
01:02:05But yeah, I don't know.
01:02:06I wouldn't wrestle while pregnant because obviously you'd end up killing the poor thing.
01:02:10Yeah.
01:02:10Okay.
01:02:11That's fair.
01:02:11The point you make is good.
01:02:13Yeah.
01:02:13Valid.
01:02:14But one day, one day I would like little me's, little buddy Matthews running around.
01:02:20They're going to annoy the crap out of me.
01:02:22But they probably will.
01:02:24Yeah.
01:02:24I'm going to get everything that I dished out as a kid.
01:02:26Would you want them to be legacy wrestlers?
01:02:30Um, yes and no.
01:02:33I don't know.
01:02:34I feel like I would love that just to like keep the name going and like have that massive
01:02:40like family line in hopefully WWE.
01:02:43Um, but at the same time, like I also know what goes into this profession and how hard
01:02:48it is and how taxing it is on your body and your mind.
01:02:52And I don't know if I want that for my kids or not.
01:02:56Like I do, but I don't because it is so amazing on the other side of things, but it also,
01:03:00it
01:03:00takes a lot out of you.
01:03:02But I guess we'll see down the line.
01:03:05Are you a fight fan?
01:03:06Like the UFC fight tonight in Miami.
01:03:08You watching?
01:03:09You interested?
01:03:09Yeah, I'm going.
01:03:10Oh, really?
01:03:11Oh, sweet.
01:03:12We'll see you there.
01:03:13Oh, hell yeah.
01:03:13Yeah.
01:03:14Do you follow UFC enough to like have selections for this evening?
01:03:18So I'm, I don't follow it as much as Buddy does.
01:03:22He follows it.
01:03:23He loves UFC.
01:03:24Who's he rooting for?
01:03:25Well, we're both going for Sugar tonight.
01:03:28Let's go.
01:03:28I love Sugar.
01:03:29He's the one that I really do.
01:03:30He's excellent.
01:03:31Personally?
01:03:32No, no, no.
01:03:33But like I remember his name because he stands out to me.
01:03:35Yeah.
01:03:35It's all a gimmick as well.
01:03:37For sure.
01:03:37It's like wrestling.
01:03:38For sure.
01:03:38Like he's the one that I always remember.
01:03:40I'm like, oh, Sugar's on the car.
01:03:41Oh, yeah.
01:03:41Yeah.
01:03:42He's a very good friend of ours.
01:03:43Yeah.
01:03:44We absolutely love him.
01:03:45He seems amazing.
01:03:47Excellent.
01:03:48So like we're rooting for him.
01:03:49When this has seen it already happen.
01:03:51I know.
01:03:51We shouldn't even.
01:03:52No, no, no.
01:03:53But it's so interesting and it's happened a week and a half ago.
01:03:55But like Sugar had a great camp.
01:03:58And Cheeto had a car a lot of weight.
01:04:01Yeah.
01:04:01But he'll get that back.
01:04:04He may wait.
01:04:05He'll get it back.
01:04:06Yeah.
01:04:06We'll see.
01:04:07I mean, we'll see.
01:04:08That'd be so rough though doing that.
01:04:10You could do it.
01:04:11Me?
01:04:11Why do you not think you could do it?
01:04:13I like food too much, fam.
01:04:14Oh, cutting weight.
01:04:15The cutting weight part.
01:04:16Cutting weight.
01:04:17Oh, that sucks.
01:04:18Yeah.
01:04:18It's the worst thing ever.
01:04:19Yeah.
01:04:19Oh, I could imagine.
01:04:20It's the worst thing ever.
01:04:21Yeah.
01:04:22No, no, no, no.
01:04:22What's your favorite food?
01:04:23Oh.
01:04:26I love pizza.
01:04:27Pizza's always a top one for me.
01:04:29Oh, so you love being in the state.
01:04:30We got the pizza.
01:04:31You don't have pizza in Australia.
01:04:32Oh, we got pizza.
01:04:33In Australia.
01:04:34We actually have a pizza with like egg on it.
01:04:36I had that for the first time.
01:04:37Yeah.
01:04:38It's weird.
01:04:38Do you like Vegemite?
01:04:40I love Vegemite.
01:04:41And does Buddy like it?
01:04:44He likes it.
01:04:45Okay.
01:04:45Not as much as me.
01:04:46So I had-
01:04:47I'm crazy about Vegemite.
01:04:48You know a lot of-
01:04:48We fuck up and we'll go there and try it.
01:04:50Yeah.
01:04:50You don't want a spoon, don't you?
01:04:52No, I didn't do that, but I got it down to-
01:04:55I had the toast, I had the butter, but then it was just too much.
01:04:58And every Aussie was like, no, no, no, no, no.
01:05:01Just a little-
01:05:03What?
01:05:03You put a lot on it.
01:05:04I put a lot on.
01:05:05I love Vegemite, dude.
01:05:07Like my fans know how passionate I am about Vegemite.
01:05:10Oh my God.
01:05:10It's like a real thing.
01:05:12Yeah.
01:05:12I love it.
01:05:13I know like obviously you need toast, need butter, but like I put like a thick spread of it.
01:05:18Oh yeah.
01:05:19Yeah.
01:05:19People look at me like I'm crazy.
01:05:20You can't see through the Vegemite to the toast.
01:05:23Not really.
01:05:24I'm going to say something.
01:05:25I may upset you.
01:05:26Oh gosh.
01:05:27All right.
01:05:28Do you know who Danny Rocca Rocca is?
01:05:31Uh-huh.
01:05:31The Rocca Rocca twins?
01:05:32Yeah, Rocca Rocca.
01:05:32They're from Adelaide.
01:05:33Yeah.
01:05:33Just like you.
01:05:34Oh, I know.
01:05:34They actually had a couple of wrestling matches at my school.
01:05:37No way.
01:05:38On our shows.
01:05:39No way.
01:05:39They dressed up as the grandma and grandpa.
01:05:41No way.
01:05:42Oh, that's cool.
01:05:44That makes sense.
01:05:45You know, there's also, by the way, some of our favorite people in the world.
01:05:47Yeah.
01:05:48They're awesome.
01:05:49They're funny.
01:05:49Yeah.
01:05:50I invited him to Elimination Chamber.
01:05:52Yeah.
01:05:52He was there.
01:05:53Yeah.
01:05:53My cousin spoke to him.
01:05:55Oh, cool.
01:05:55Yeah.
01:05:55Yeah.
01:05:56He hung out.
01:05:56We hung out a little bit.
01:05:58And, you know, while he was there, I was like, I'm going to have a peanut butter and jelly
01:06:02sandwich before my match.
01:06:03And he said, what?
01:06:06And I said, what?
01:06:07Peanut butter and jelly.
01:06:10Mike.
01:06:11What about what I said is strange?
01:06:12He had never heard of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
01:06:16Yeah.
01:06:17He didn't understand what I was saying when I said you put peanut butter on one side and
01:06:21jelly on the other.
01:06:22Well, to be fair, we call it jam.
01:06:24Jam, first of all, so it'd be a peanut butter and jam, but also like, dude, if I told you
01:06:28I was going to have some toast with Marmite, would you know what that was?
01:06:32Marmite.
01:06:33It's different, dude.
01:06:34Peanut butter and jelly has infiltrated culture.
01:06:37Neil knows what it is.
01:06:37You're the peanut butter to my jelly.
01:06:39Like, he never heard that.
01:06:40I feel like it's not very big in Australia.
01:06:42It must not be.
01:06:42I had it for the first time over here when I moved here.
01:06:45Did you like it?
01:06:46I did.
01:06:47Yeah.
01:06:47I had the Uncrustable.
01:06:48Oh.
01:06:49It was so good.
01:06:49What do you think about the idea of something other than grape jelly being used?
01:06:54I feel strawberry should be fine.
01:06:56You could get away with strawberry, but I didn't even think about that.
01:06:59And at what point does jelly become jam here?
01:07:03Because that's the thing.
01:07:04We have jam here, too, in the States.
01:07:07There's jelly and then there's jam.
01:07:09What's the difference?
01:07:10And then there's like marmalade.
01:07:11Now you're getting into some niche spreads.
01:07:14Like, if you go to the IHOP, for example, they give you, there's like jam, like marmalade and all this
01:07:22like weird.
01:07:22There's even another one.
01:07:23There's another weird spread.
01:07:25Plumber.
01:07:26Anyways, I made the lad.
01:07:27I made the lad of PB&J.
01:07:28I said, this is unacceptable.
01:07:29We're going back to catering.
01:07:31I'm going to make you PB&J.
01:07:32You have to try it.
01:07:32I did.
01:07:33And he gave me Vegemite.
01:07:36Oh, that was your first time?
01:07:38Yeah.
01:07:39Oh, man.
01:07:40That was a big moment from every quarter today.
01:07:42I can't wait to hear this.
01:07:43I'm excited.
01:07:44What was your first thought?
01:07:45And how much spread?
01:07:46Yeah.
01:07:48I can't believe it's legal to sell.
01:07:51That's what a lot of people think.
01:07:52It was alarmingly bad.
01:07:56Talk about your setup.
01:07:57Talk about the setup.
01:07:58Well, that's the thing.
01:07:59So apparently Danny.
01:08:00No, you can't do it like that.
01:08:01Well, he had no idea what he was doing.
01:08:02He's like, man, I've never really tried that.
01:08:05So, bro, piece of bread, thick, thick spread of Vegemite.
01:08:11He had it too.
01:08:12Did you not have butter?
01:08:13Nothing.
01:08:14No, you have to.
01:08:14I just breaded this thick layer of Vegemite.
01:08:17We both ate it.
01:08:17We were like.
01:08:19Oh, it's shocking.
01:08:21It's horrifying when you eat it like that.
01:08:23But one of the real treasures of Australia, a girl by the name of Michaela Testa, just a
01:08:28wonderful Australian treasure.
01:08:31Honestly, though, Michaela, what's up?
01:08:32She made me a piece of toast with the butter and just the things.
01:08:36She almost used the very tip of the knife to really make it real thin.
01:08:40Yeah.
01:08:40And that was amazing.
01:08:41It was almost like if you imagine you had a toast with butter on it and then just put
01:08:45a lecture of salt on it.
01:08:46Yeah.
01:08:46It's like sweet and salty.
01:08:47Yes.
01:08:48Yeah.
01:08:49I got to give it another shot.
01:08:50You have to.
01:08:50You have to have it right.
01:08:51It's not fair what happened.
01:08:52Yeah.
01:08:53You have to have it the American way.
01:08:56It's crazy that a food has such a such a cultural grip of a nation.
01:09:02Like, I think of the men at work song.
01:09:05Right.
01:09:05And like like it's just such an important part of your culture.
01:09:08We don't.
01:09:09I mean, there's really nothing like no single food.
01:09:13Peanut butter and jelly, bro.
01:09:14It's fucking peanut butter and jelly.
01:09:16Alcohol.
01:09:17Hot dogs.
01:09:18Hot dogs.
01:09:19Corn dogs.
01:09:20Corn dogs.
01:09:20Corn dogs are great.
01:09:21Don't even get me started on corn dogs.
01:09:23Which.
01:09:24Yeah.
01:09:24I want to ask you a question.
01:09:25This will be the last question I ask you and then we'll send you on your way.
01:09:28OK.
01:09:28This has been great.
01:09:29Can you smell my socks?
01:09:31Be honest.
01:09:32From here?
01:09:32Yeah.
01:09:34No, I can't.
01:09:35OK.
01:09:35Why?
01:09:35Because I think I can.
01:09:37They're scratching sniff socks.
01:09:39Stop.
01:09:40Strawberry banana scratches are socks.
01:09:41Stop because someone will make that a thing and they'll sell it.
01:09:44I'll fucking do it.
01:09:46I'll do it.
01:09:48I could sell anything.
01:09:50Yeah.
01:09:50I feel that.
01:09:51No, no, no.
01:09:51I just just wonder because I just wonder like maybe if I could smell them a little bit just
01:09:56because we've been we've been running around.
01:09:58It's been a very long day.
