00:00Tomorrow, federal election.
00:02Oh, is it?
00:03Long way to come when you could have just postal voted.
00:06Good point.
00:07But could you get the snag?
00:08You don't get the snag in the post.
00:10Well, that's right.
00:10Are we going to see you at a local primary school tomorrow?
00:13That's a question for you, sir.
00:15If anyone's going to be at a local primary school,
00:17I think it might be you, brother.
00:19Controversial question, then.
00:20Onions on top or below the snag?
00:23I like a little bit over the top.
00:24Yeah.
00:25Drizzling over the top.
00:26But I think I owe probably the federal government probably five grand by now
00:29from how many elections I've forgotten we're on.
00:30Yeah.
00:31That's okay.
00:33Speaking of snags, sorry, we're just doing a little bit of a mic check there.
00:37Speaking of snags, when was the last time you had a Bunnings sausage?
00:39You must be craving.
00:41We went past the Bunnings today and the temptation was there,
00:44but obviously we had some media commitments.
00:45Hopefully we can find one because American sausages are horrendous.
00:49They're not the same.
00:50They're like bratwurst.
00:52They're just like, it's just not what you want from a Bunnings snag.
00:55So hopefully at some stage this weekend we can find one.
00:57Yeah.
00:58Yeah.
00:58I bet.
00:58I bet.
00:59Well, let's talk serious stuff, guys.
01:01We won't.
01:02You're here for Bunnings and we're super excited.
01:05Crown Jewel, WWE, heading back to Western Australia.
01:08Tell us about Chamber.
01:09That was 15 months ago, if you can believe it.
01:12What's happened in your lives specifically 15 years ago?
01:16I mean, Ria, married now?
01:19Yeah.
01:20I mean, there's been a lot that's been going on.
01:22Injuries for both of you as well?
01:24Yeah.
01:25I mean, married, lost my on-screen boyfriend, lost my family.
01:31Married and lost my boyfriend.
01:34My life is a good life, dude.
01:36That's a good life.
01:37You might be Mormon.
01:40Maybe.
01:41Shout out to our Mormon fans.
01:43Yeah.
01:43We've got a lot.
01:44We're big in the Mormon community.
01:45Really?
01:46Yeah.
01:48I had to vacate my title.
01:50I had two injuries.
01:51I did the grade three AC sprain in my shoulder.
01:53I broke my face.
01:55There's been a lot going on.
01:57Got the championship back.
01:58Lost it again.
01:58Had a five-star WrestleMania match with Io and Bianca.
02:02Yeah.
02:02A lot's going on.
02:03So I'm very excited to see where my life is at by the time October rolls around.
02:09So true, actually.
02:10Let's talk about Io.
02:11Wait, wait, wait.
02:12What about Grayson?
02:13He's done heaps.
02:13It's hard to follow that.
02:14There's some big things in there.
02:17I hung out with my dog.
02:18He's pretty cool.
02:20I watched a nah.
02:20You know, we won the tag team championships at WrestleMania.
02:23It was awfully like a huge thing to win my first championship in WWE.
02:27Unfortunately, in NXT, I never got to convert and win the championships there.
02:30So that was a big moment.
02:31And, you know, me in theory have been causing chaos, whether it's SmackDown,
02:34whether it's Raw, getting in there with some of the best guys in the business,
02:38Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, you know,
02:41just trying to elevate ourselves and then force ourselves back into big positions
02:46on the card.
02:46Yeah.
02:47Well, speaking of big positions, I'm sure you probably know.
02:50Okay, keep going.
02:52Oh, come on.
02:52Get your head out of that.
02:53No, I'm listening.
02:53I'm listening.
02:54Surely you want to be in the main event of Crown Jewel Perth when it comes.
02:58Of course.
02:58I think anyone who says they wouldn't want to be on the WWE roster is a liar.
03:03But obviously there's a huge amount of competition.
03:05Obviously you got Rhea Bloody Ripley, the number one, I was going to say women's
03:09wrestler, but I don't think it's a case of gender.
03:11I think she's the best wrestler in the world right now.
03:12And you got John Cena coming,
03:14but it wouldn't be me if I wasn't still talking my game and saying,
03:17I want to be in the main event.
03:18I want to take on the best of the best.
03:20And who knows?
03:20We've got six months or so before we get to this show.
03:23And I'm going to make sure I'm somewhere on that card.
03:25Rhea, when you hear stuff like that, how does that make you feel?
03:28Like your peers absolutely love you.
03:30It's heartwarming.
03:31It really is.
03:32And like the amount of trash talk that Grayson actually says to hear something
03:35nice and it's directed at me, it makes my heart warm.
03:39Well, you mentioned the five-star match at Mania.
03:41Congratulations.
03:42It was like a ball terror.
03:43Absolutely stellar.
03:45Give us a bit of insight behind the scenes as to what happens.
03:48Like who produced that match with you guys?
03:50What does he mean by produced?
03:51I don't understand.
03:52Oh, sorry.
03:53Are we allowed to talk about that?
03:54I don't understand.
03:56Sorry.
03:56Produced.
03:57Produced.
03:58Who helps you a lot?
03:59Oh, here we go.
04:02You answer it.
04:02I'm just confused.
04:03I don't understand the question.
04:04Oh, here we go.
04:07So Jason Jordan and Petey Williams, but Jason Jordan,
04:10he's always with me every step of the way.
04:16Petey definitely was a part of it, massive.
04:18But yeah, JJ, he's been with me on a lot of different matches
04:22and I can always count on him.
04:24And every time that I'm going to lose my mind or have a panic attack,
04:29he's always there.
04:30So he's my number one helper.
04:32But yeah, Petey and JJ.
04:34Love that.
04:35I think that's great.
04:37Last time you guys were here, you came into the studio with Triple H.
04:40Oh, must be nice.
04:42Yeah, it was wild.
04:43And when you guys left, I guided you down in the elevator
04:46and I said to Triple H, I said, oh, thanks for coming in, Hunter.
04:49And then I immediately felt like this weird embarrassment
04:52because I'm like, I've called him Hunter.
04:54I don't really deserve to call him Hunter.
04:56But also I know that there's this weird rule in wrestling
04:58where don't call wrestlers by their real name.
05:00So I can't really like, thanks, Paul.
05:02Yeah.
05:03What are the rules here?
05:04I'm like, where do I go?
05:06I would just say, thank you so much, boss.
05:07I really appreciate anything that you give me.
05:09That's what I usually say.
05:10So I think that's the best way to deal with it most times.
05:12Is that how you used to talk to Shawn Michaels?
05:14Yeah, every time.
05:15Thank you, Mr. HBK, sir.
05:17I really appreciate the opportunity.
05:20Oh, man.
05:20I mean, I guess like the on-screen name is what everyone knows us as.
05:24So that's probably the appropriate way to go.
05:26Every now and then people call me Demi
05:28and it freaks me out a little bit, to be completely honest.
05:30I'm like, well, like Grayson even called me Demi the other day
05:33and it freaked me out.
05:34I didn't like it.
05:34And he's my peer.
05:35He's my friend.
05:35I'm not going to do that again.
05:37See, that spins me out.
05:38Because in real life, you go, oh, your friends, your family,
05:41they would all call you Demi.
05:43But it's like in your world, it's like, no, I'm Rhea.
05:45Yeah, I'm literally two different people.
05:47It's nuts.
05:49Wow.
05:49That's wild.
05:50Well, Grayson, we touched on HBK, Shawn Michaels.
05:55Goat realm, you've shared the ring with him.
05:57You've also had moments with Triple H and Cena.
05:59What's it like sledging the absolute crap out of them in the ring?
06:03It's obviously super surreal.
06:04And as a wrestling fan growing up, like, if I go back to me at 15
06:08and tell him some of the stories about the people I'd be in the ring with,
06:11I think he wouldn't think it was real.
06:14But I always feel that the best way to show respect to these legends
06:19and say thank you for the platform that you've given us
06:21is to go as hard as you can at them.
06:23I don't think kissing ass and, you know, trying to be their best friend
06:27is the best way to say thank you for what they did.
06:29I think the best way to do that is to go in and try and take from them.
06:32Be like, I want to be on your level and I'm going to go out
06:34and I'm going to say the wildest things I can.
06:36And I think from a fan perspective too, you know,
06:39they hold these people in such high esteem.
06:40So when they see someone like this stupid Australian,
06:43Grayson Moeller, coming out and trying to fight Shawn Michaels,
06:45I think that gets a great reaction too because they know
06:48if they were in that situation, they would never say something like that
06:51to someone who's done so much and I have no problem doing those things.
06:54Yeah, yeah.
06:55Speaking of going hard, you guys really go hard in the ring.
06:59I went for a run yesterday, as you can tell, on the peak of male form.
07:03Yeah, you've got a definition of a guy who's training for a marathon.
07:05Oh, I do take that.
07:07That's a compliment.
07:08But that's your whole thing in life.
07:09You just tell people, like you're going to the cafe,
07:11oh, I am actually training for a marathon.
07:14I'm not, but anyway.
07:16Yeah, you tell people.
07:17I didn't say you actually were.
07:19Yeah.
07:20Oh, yeah, that's fair.
07:21That's fair.
07:21That is how I look.
07:22I appreciate that.
07:23I do.
07:23Also, you look like every band on Triple J's lead singer.
07:29This is another compliment.
07:30Yeah.
07:31I know you're trying to get me.
07:32You're definitely in some type of indie hipster band.
07:35Oh, Chanelie.
07:35Yeah, yeah.
07:36I get Wraith Thistleweight a lot.
07:38Oh, I can't remember you mentioned that.
07:39You do look like you're in Thirsty Merc.
07:41Like the tribute band.
07:44You go to the local RSL club and you see.
07:47Sorry, you're asking a question.
07:48Yeah, Thirsty Jerk is what they call me.
07:50Yeah.
07:51So anyway.
07:54Good from you.
07:55Yeah, thank you.
07:56So I went for a run and I was thinking of questions to ask you guys.
08:00I'm going, jeez, I'm blown out and I've done like a 24-minute run
08:03with two minute intervals in between.
08:06And I'm kind of going, what kind of cardio levels do you guys have to be at?
08:09Because I know legends often talk about when they re-watch matches,
08:12they go, oh, look at me.
08:13Five minutes in, I was already blown out.
08:14Does that actually happen?
08:16Like do you get blown out straight away or is that just these dudes are unfit
08:19and the new level of fitness in the WWE is we could go for an hour?
08:24I think when you look back to certain times in wrestling history,
08:28it was much easier on the cardio.
08:31But now what we do is like from the moment that match starts, we're going.
08:34Like on TV, there's no warm-up.
08:37You're straight to it.
08:37But that's up to us as athletes to prepare ourselves.
08:40So when that happens, like I don't think you've ever seen either of us
08:44gassed at any stage in a match.
08:45Like we're ready to go, but that's because you have to put in the effort beforehand.
08:47And wrestling cardio is very different to like normal cardio.
08:51So like running is great, but it like, it doesn't prepare you to get punched in the face
08:55and thrown over the top rope and hit with a chair and all those type of things.
08:59Yeah, no, exactly.
09:00And like, you got to think we're trash talking at the same time
09:02as doing all these physical activities.
09:05I mean, I know it doesn't look like we're gassed as well, but sometimes we are.
09:08We just hide it very, very well.
09:10Like I, speaking for myself, I get gassed sometimes.
09:12But then at the same time, the adrenaline that you get from the fans
09:16and just being out there, it kind of takes over at times as well.
09:19But cardio is a massive thing.
09:21And you just, you can't really prepare for in-ring action without being in-ring.
09:26Sometimes when I go for a run, I'll just like slam,
09:28I'll go to someone's front lawn and just slam my back.
09:31Yeah, just slam back onto it.
09:32Yeah, just slam back on the front lawns.
09:34You know, I'm always prepared.
09:36Yeah, yeah.
09:37Tell us about your time at NXT because that's my favourite wrestling program.
09:41I think it's the best wrestling program.
09:43My favourite wrestling is NXT.
09:45Well, what's wrong with that?
09:46You look like Twitter, dude, so I can understand.
09:48Oh, don't.
09:48Are you serious?
09:49You look like Twitter.
09:50Are you serious?
09:50You definitely have an obscure, like, Japanese wrestler as your profile photo.
09:54You've got to give him some back, man.
09:56Don't let him do this to you.
09:57Okay, let's talk about NXT.
09:58Let's talk about NXT.
09:59NXT, like, when you guys go back there, that must be a huge honour, though,
10:03because you guys are main roster stars now.
10:05Going back, given, like, you know, you were in the main event against Omar Febby.
10:10Yep.
10:10Your mate, Austin Theory, as well.
10:13Going back there must be really good to give back to NXT, the company that gave you your start.
10:18I love doing it.
10:19And when I got called up, I said to Sean, like, anything you ever need, you let me know.
10:23So, and so anytime he's needed to fill a spot or he's needed someone from the main roster
10:27to come down for a certain reason, like, I have no problem doing it.
10:29We live in Orlando, which makes life a little bit easier getting to the shows as well.
10:32But, like, I know how hard those NXT kids work down there.
10:35And, like, I kind of see myself and maybe Rhea similar, like, when you go down there,
10:39you're the measuring stick to find out if these guys belong in the ring.
10:42So, going down and getting to work with Oba Femi, that guy's legit.
10:46And now I can come back and I go to Shawn Michaels, hey, that guy Oba, he's as good as
10:50they say he is.
10:51And then that kind of gives them an opportunity to get for it.
10:53But I love doing it and I'd be happy to do it more, too.
10:57Yeah.
10:57Absolutely.
10:58Look, you love giving it.
10:59You've obviously given it to a bit of me.
11:00You've given it to Adam.
11:02That's what, but I like it.
11:03No, I do, too.
11:04Yeah, you usually pay women to do it to you, don't you?
11:07Here's $50.
11:08Yell at me for 20 minutes.
11:09We'll get you back in a second.
11:11I'm a wife at home.
11:11That does that.
11:13Shouldn't have told her.
11:14Shouldn't have told her.
11:15You've been very vocal on Twitter about how smelly the WWE fan base is.
11:19Dude, so rough.
11:20Like, legit so rough.
11:21And I want to get you to rate something right now.
11:24Okay.
11:25Who's the smellier fan base?
11:26We've got Star Wars, we've got WWE, we've got Swifties and AFL fans.
11:32Swifties, I don't think they smell.
11:34You know, they seem like they like to take care of themselves.
11:36Smell like Impulse.
11:37Put their cringe friendship bracelets and all that stuff on.
11:40So I don't think it's them.
11:41Star Wars would be pretty smelly.
11:42Yeah, I reckon there's a draw between Star Wars and WWE.
11:44And because imagine when you've got your fake lightsaber and you're playing the game,
11:47like, you know, you're in your front yard with your...
11:49It's always a cousin.
11:49They don't have actual friends.
11:51That can be very sweaty.
11:53But wrestling fans, hands down, are the smelliest and the sweatiest fans I've ever seen in my life.
11:58It's just a sea of black shirts and somehow you can still see the pit stains.
12:01It's a black shirt.
12:02How can I see the pit stains in a black shirt?
12:04Like, I don't understand the compulsion.
12:05But at least we know when one's coming, you know.
12:08You might be somewhere outside of work and you can just smell them coming.
12:11Yeah, like shark in the water blood kind of thing.
12:13So I'm from behind.
12:13Oh, I can find it.
12:14And there's a yeech, yeech, yeech, yeech.
12:17As they walk around, yeah.
12:21Have you got any more?
12:23He's trying to hide his yeech shit.
12:25I think we're pretty much done.
12:26I think we wanted to get one back on Grayson.
12:29So, brother, what's with the pimples on the chest?
12:32The pimples on the chest, you know.
12:34Hold on, let me have a look.
12:35Oh, there's only one or two.
12:36It's not that bad, is it?
12:37One, two, three, four.
12:38Does it bother you that theory's bigger than you?
12:40Not really because, like, obviously, you know, he's the body guy on the team.
12:44But I'm going to talk.
12:44He can never do what I could do.
12:45He'd come in here, you'd have the most boring interview of your life, you know.
12:48So I'm not too stressed about that.
12:49But I understand.
12:50He's a physically very big guy.
12:53But against you, like, I look like Arnold Schwarzenegger next to you, lad.
12:56I know.
12:57You know, so I'm feeling okay about myself.
12:59I'm going to be chain on this guy, too.
13:00It's water off a duck's back with him.
13:01Are you jealous that Rhea gets to go home to Buddy every night?
13:06Like, that's one I can say, no, I'm okay.
13:09I'm like, maybe I'm going to play Fortnite with him or something, you know.
13:13He'd probably love that to be fair.
13:16Look, sorry, go on.
13:17One quick one.
13:18Because I've got Clash of Clans.
13:20What's it like?
13:22No way!
13:23You have Clash of Clans!
13:27That's crazy, dude.
13:29Whoa!
13:30What's it like?
13:32Spend some time with your wife, dude.
13:33Why are you in Clash of Clans?
13:34He's got a kid as well.
13:35I know.
13:37What's it like seeing yourself as an action figure, Grayson?
13:40Because, you know, that would have been the coolest thing ever.
13:42Like, you're a WWE action figure or in a computer game.
13:46Like, this is freaking insane shit.
13:47Because you're in a few now, aren't you?
13:48I'm in a few, yeah.
13:49Are you in any that you're a big fan of?
13:51Or is it like you've seen them a little bit and...
13:54You know what I'm waiting for?
13:55I'm waiting for Fortnite.
13:56You want to be in Fortnite?
13:57I want to be in Fortnite because when my husband plays and he can remember to text me back
14:02because he's playing as me.
14:04That's good.
14:05Are you in COD yet?
14:09Yes.
14:09You are?
14:10I think so.
14:11You're in one of them.
14:12There's so many.
14:12She's just in so many video games.
14:13Because I'm in COD these days.
14:15I believe I am.
14:17But it is always surreal, like, especially the action figures.
14:19They're the stuff when you're growing up.
14:20You want to be in a video game and you want an action figure.
14:22Having it in your hand is just wild.
14:24Like, this is legit a mini me.
14:26Yeah, and they're, like, super realistic too.
14:28Although they gave me extra abs.
14:30I'm pretty proud of that.
14:30That was pretty cool.
14:31I was going to say, on TV, you don't have as many abs.
14:34I just made the joke of myself first.
14:36It doesn't work that way.
14:37But I appreciate you trying, you know?
14:38I feel this is really good.
14:40Like, you've had a great...
14:40This is your first interview and I think you've done really, really well.
14:42I'm the work experience kid.
14:44Yeah.
14:44And it shows.
14:45So, if you keep going, dude, you might get upgraded soon.
14:47Also, come from Grayson Waller.
14:49That's pretty good.
14:49He has his own talk show.
14:50I do.
14:51He does.
14:51I've had some big guests.
