00:21:16Especially because I had that gauntlet match on Raw like the week before

00:21:19So I was already hurting

00:39:14The surfing industry

00:39:15But then also

00:39:16There was this

00:39:19Entertainment

00:39:20That Supergirl

00:39:22Brought in

00:39:23Women's

00:39:23From all walks

00:39:24Of life

00:39:25Whether it was

00:39:26Entertainment

00:39:26Or CEOs

00:39:27And it just

00:39:28Created this

00:39:29Atmosphere

00:39:30That I just

00:39:31Felt so

00:39:33Empowered

00:39:34And I wanted

00:39:35To see how

00:39:35I could translate

00:40:42And achieve whatever

00:40:44Snowboarding or not

00:40:45You wanted to give

00:40:45Them the building

00:40:46Blocks

00:40:47And the confidence

00:40:49To let them

00:41:12A few weeks back

00:41:13With two gold medals

00:41:14For you

00:41:15What was the biggest

00:41:16Key in being able

00:41:17To reset

00:41:18Each Olympic cycle

00:41:19To finally

00:41:20Achieve your dream

00:41:21In Beijing

00:41:21Excuse me

00:41:22After those hardships

00:41:23Because I imagine

00:41:24That's a very

00:41:24Difficult thing to do

00:41:26Especially with

00:41:27The four years

00:41:27Of downtime in between

00:41:28Even though obviously

00:41:29You're working every week

00:41:30At the same time

00:41:31To get back there

00:41:34Yeah that is

00:41:35A little hard

00:41:35Because not

00:41:36Everyone realized

00:41:38That this is my career

00:41:39And this is something

00:41:40I'm doing every weekend

00:41:42Throughout the winter

00:41:43And I'm racing

00:41:44Non-stop

00:41:45It's not

00:41:46Every four years

00:41:47So it just seemed

00:41:48Like every four years

00:41:49I was just having

00:41:50This bad luck cycle

00:41:52Of not

00:41:53Getting on the podium

00:41:55Or having a

00:41:56You know

00:41:57A great result

00:41:58So it's just how

00:42:00It happens sometimes

00:42:01With border cross

00:42:02And I had to

00:42:03Convince myself

00:42:03That you know

00:42:04It just wasn't

00:42:05Right that time

00:42:06The stars didn't

00:42:07Align for me

00:42:08For that specific moment

00:42:09And you don't

00:42:10Always understand why

00:42:11And I always feel

00:42:13For the other athletes

00:42:14That you know

00:42:15Just come up short

00:42:16In those scenarios

00:42:17Because I know

00:42:18How that feels

00:42:19So how I would

00:42:20Mentally prepare myself

00:42:22For prepping

00:42:24Into the Olympics

00:42:25Was telling myself

00:42:27I might not get a medal

00:42:29And I'll be okay

00:42:34Is to be improving myself

00:42:37And to celebrate

00:42:39That I am a five-time Olympian

00:42:41Obviously we're all there

00:42:43And we're all wanting to win

00:42:44And seconds, hundredths

00:42:46Sometimes just really

00:42:49Make the difference

00:42:51And it could be your day

00:42:53Any day

00:42:53So it was really

00:42:55Just trying to reprogram myself

00:43:00What's going to happen

00:43:04So I waited 16 years

00:43:09That I still don't

00:44:16My last Olympics

00:44:18Because I wanted to

00:44:19Enjoy the whole process

00:44:22Every second of the day

00:44:23Was scheduled

00:44:24Before I actually even raced

00:44:25I don't know if that helped or not

00:44:27But it helped me enjoy

00:44:28The process a little more
