00:00Both Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders were propping up the IPL table with just one victory between them.
00:07And Ajinka Rahane chose to bowl first.
00:11And Chennai losing their skipper Rattaraj Gaikwad early didn't help.
00:14Straight in.
00:17Sandru Samson and Ayush Muhattre found the flow.
00:21Wonderfully played.
00:22But Muhattre fell on the final bowl of the power play at 72 for two.
00:30The World Brothers tried picking up some of the slack in a 59 run stand.
00:36But it took the Super Kings almost five overs to accumulate that.
00:41Samson missed out on a half century as if the pressure mounted.
00:46But Knight Riders' dynamic spin pair Asuna Narain and Varun Chakravati made scoring runs difficult.
00:55Narain got one wicket but gave up only 21 runs in his four overs.
00:59Such a good shot.
01:00As Kolkata Knight Riders restricted the Chennai Super Kings to under 200 finishing on 192 for five.
01:07Well done Kartik Tiagi.
01:09KKR batters have reached 200 just once so far so getting to 193 wasn't a given.
01:17He's got that fine.
01:19And losing Finn Allen early was a setback.
01:22That's up in the air.
01:23An opportunity here.
01:25That's good bowling.
01:27Sunil Narain scored runs twice going long.
01:30Chest clearing long on.
01:32But 24 was as much as he would make.
01:35Straight into the hands.
01:36Khalil strikes.
01:37Chennai also have their spinners to apply pressure as Akeel Hussain got among the wickets.
01:44But his spin partner Noor Ahmad did even more damage getting the skipper Ajinkia Rouhani.
01:51And he wasn't done.
01:52Ball then false ball.
01:54As he struck off successive balls as defeat was on the cards at 90 for six.
02:00For Noor Ahmad.
02:01Rahman Powell and Rahman Deep Singh added some luster to the innings with a 63 run stand.
02:07But the hole was just too deep as the Knight Riders sunk to their fourth defeat losing by 32 runs.
02:15Terence Clark, TV6 Sport.
