00:00Nassim Shah struck early with two crucial blows for the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots
00:05against the Jamaica Kingsmen.
00:09Saeem Ayub stepped up and put the pressure right back on their opponents.
00:16He worked with small contributions of 10 from the other two batsmen, Kirk McKenzie and Usman
00:21Khan, at 63 for 4.
00:25Ravman Powell knew what to do. They pressed on the gas and the Patriots could not find
00:30the wicket they needed.
00:41It came in the 17th over when Powell was dismissed for 21 of 17 balls. Ayub carried on striking
00:48a century.
00:58Kimo Paul ended the innings with a flurry. He closed down 25. The Kingsmen reached a respectable
01:03182 for 7.
01:07Kyle Mayers and Johnson Charles at the top of the order looks to be a fearsome combination.
01:12However, the steadier of the two batsmen, Mayers, got out early and Charles turned out to be
01:17more watchful.
01:19Until he too was gone with 37 runs on the board. The two teams were moving along at a similar
01:25trajectory at this point, losing wickets at similar intervals.
01:30Brilliant bit of bowling.
01:32One shot.
01:33Andre Fletcher was playing the innings that Ayub played. However, he needed to bat through
01:38that innings.
01:39An execution.
01:40He was gone for 55 with 112 on the board. A soft dismissal. Jason Holder looked to be
01:47up for the fight. He made 35.
01:57Darsun Shanaka, 35 not out at the end of the innings, playing like he wants to bat higher
02:02up.
02:04171 for 6 in the end. Not enough. Kingsmen win by 11 runs. The defeat leaves the Patriots
02:11rooted at the bottom of the table, while the Kingsmen remain in 4th place. Sergio Dufour,
