00:24rookie year and assume oh i'm going to be better the next year maybe you don't hone in on the

00:28things that you need to take that next step forward and you come out then at the end of the
00:31year and you say man what do i need to do now to take that next step and i feel
00:35like he's self-audited
00:36and you're just seeing a more well-rounded hitter all the way um and i think he set himself up

00:41be much more comfortable left on left he seems to have closed the gap on some of the whiff a
00:45little
00:45bit as well and you know he's going to defend so that's why i love the fact that he's playing

00:50and that's why i'm going to lean towards the war side of things that impressive rookie season he put
00:54up a 3.1 f4 in 132 games right now through this season he's put up one f4 through 16
01:01games and he
01:02have a 179 wrc plus the issue with him in the past has been he's been very aggressive um and

01:08at times you could see him get a little bit expansive i think that's something that's been a
01:12focus for him this year the other interesting thing is how many homers can this guy hit it was 22
01:17and 115 games last year if he's playing more regularly can he eclipse 30 so that's going to be the
01:21first
01:21number he has three and 16 games i'll set it at 27 do you think he gets five more homers
01:28than last
01:29year no you're shaking your head i don't think so i i think he's shy at 27 but like it's

01:35these guys that we're talking about here outside of jordan walker i feel like the power numbers may
01:40be overshooting what they will do a little bit but will your bray you provides this bedrock of
01:45defensive excellence in right field i think he's the best defensive right fielder in the game
01:48like it's just that's a new layer of awesome for a bray you and it's old for him but it's
01:55like a new
01:55layer to add to the war conversation here that can just start to like kick that like war accumulation
02:02into warp speed for him well and he doesn't need to hit the homers right the other thing that i

02:06going to say is whiff whiff is down early it's a small sample but it's down about six percent early
02:12and chase is down early so those are two things that you know if if he can improve and sustainably
02:18be better in those departments like the overall numbers are going to be better regardless of
02:23whether he hits 27 homers so the next one's going to be are you taking over for war for this
02:29f4 for
02:30the season 3.1 was as high in 132 games yes he's at one through 16 games it's it's going

02:37hard to not get to 3.5 i think 100 because he's a guy that even if he's not swinging
