Storm chaser Aaron Jayjack reports from Minnesota as the environment becomes more primed for severe storms.
Transcript
00:00Good evening from Wellcome, Minnesota, where we are under a tornado watch this evening.
00:05We are watching for supercell development along a warm front here in southern Minnesota.
00:11And in fact, I am now watching storms trying to develop here just off to my west of Wellcome.
00:16Those storms, if they form, could pose a risk for all hazards, especially if they're able to anchor down,
00:22root into the warm front, the warm sector here south of where the cooler air is to the north here
00:27in Minnesota.
00:28And those supercells will pose that risk for all hazards, including strong tornadoes, large damaging hail will be possible, and
00:36strong winds.
00:37And these supercells will move off to the east this evening across southern Minnesota and even into Wisconsin,
00:44potentially northern Iowa, also under the risk this evening.
00:47So pay attention to those watches and warnings in your area this evening.
00:51For AccuWeather, I'm Aaron Jayjack.
