00:00Here in Decatur, Illinois, the stage has been set for a dangerous day of severe weather, including the risk of
00:06not only damaging winds and large hail, but the potential for not just tornadoes, but strong tornadoes capable of producing
00:13damage of greater than EF3 intensity. There's still a lot of questions in regards to where exactly the frontal zone
00:20that these storms will post up on will settle here in Illinois, but nonetheless, we're in for a dangerous day
00:26ahead of severe weather in an area that has already had a
00:29relentless spring with a record setting amount of tornadoes with potentially more to come. Now, it's not going to be
00:36limited to just here in Illinois. Folks across Indiana and Western Ohio will also bear the front of these storms
00:41as they move east into the overnight hours. Those also will be capable of producing tornadoes, large hail and wide
00:48swaths of damaging winds, potentially in excess of 80 miles an hour, which we already have seen with the morning
00:54storms across Iowa with multiple reports of wind upwards of 90 to 100 miles an hour.
01:01We're going to be covering it all day here at AccuWeather. I'm Aaron Rigsby.
