00:00I shall call him Egbert!
00:09Welcome to Mojo Plays, and today we're taking a look at 10 of the most expensive unlockables in the Lego
00:15Batman games.
00:23Before we begin, we publish new videos all week long, so be sure to subscribe to Mojo Plays and ring
00:29the bell to be notified about our latest videos.
00:33Composite Superman, Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham
00:43Is Superman just not cutting it for you? Is it too much of a pain switching between the Man of
00:48Steel and the Dark Knight?
00:50Well, no more! For a measly 1 million studs, you can get this weird mishmash of DC's greatest duo, and
00:58to be fair, he's almost worth the price.
01:05Seriously!
01:06Composite Superman is a living Swiss army knife, as he comes with all of Batman's gadgets and Superman's game-breaking
01:12abilities,
01:13so you can bully your way through whatever else you still have to do on other planets.
01:24Nightwing, Lego Batman The Video Game
01:31Oddly enough, it does not take much to unlock Nightwing. All you have to do is beat a single mission
01:36on the hero side of the game.
01:38However, you still have to purchase him in order to use him, and that might take a little bit longer
01:43to do.
01:44You'll have to save up a grand total of 125,000 studs.
01:52You can likely get this before finishing your 5th level.
01:55The thing is that you'll have to be on top of collecting studs, and not suffering too many deaths.
02:03Man Bat, Lego Batman 2 DC Super Heroes
02:10To this very day, it stumps us as to why Man Bat is priced the way he is here.
02:15For whatever reason, Lego Batman 2 demands you pony up 500,000 studs in order to unlock this ghastly, screeching
02:23menace.
02:24And what do you get for paying this absurd price?
02:26You get sonic screeching abilities to shatter glass.
02:33Which is something that Batman can already do with one of his suits.
02:36At least he isn't like Black Canary.
02:38That lady comes with the added requirement of collecting 150 gold bricks for the same exact ability, and only that
02:46ability.
02:58In Beyond Gotham, we can understand why a character like Doomsday would cost so many studs.
03:04This is the monster that actually managed to kill the Man of Steel, after all.
03:08And you can wield that absurd amount of power for yourself.
03:12Super strength.
03:13Health regeneration.
03:14Total immunity to toxic hazards.
03:16You can have it all.
03:17You just need to cough up 1,250,000 studs.
03:21Honestly, if you're trying to plow through open world stuff, it's worth saving up for this guy if you can.
03:31Changzhu
03:32Lego DC Super Villains
03:34You are within the presence of one of Earth's brightest minds, Changzhu!
03:40Should you refer to me by any other name, my vengeance shall be swift!
03:45Lego DC Super Villains wrangled in a lot of bizarre villains from both Batman's side and, well, every other corner
03:52of DC Comics history.
03:54Changzhu is one of those villains, having tangled with Wonder Woman more than the other heroes.
04:00A most wise decision, my new minion.
04:03Complete a simple fetch quest for him, and you'll be able to purchase him for 500,000 studs.
04:09You might want to save him for later, though, when you have multipliers.
04:13Changzhu doesn't really come with anything useful for your endeavors.
04:16Did you expect anything else from a sentient egg in a weaponized spider mech?
04:24Changzhu!
04:25Changzhu we just continue that cover!
04:27Raja al Ghul
04:29Lego batman, the video game
04:41When it comes to unlocking characters, Ra's Al Ghul is the most expensive one in the first
04:46Lego Batman video game. If you want to unlock them the natural way, you're going to have to
04:51fully complete the game, meaning you need to fill up the stud meter on all 30 levels,
04:55acquire all 300 minikits, acquire every single character, and unlock all the red bricks.
05:09After all is said and done, you just need to scrounge up 500,000 studs, which shouldn't
05:15be a problem considering you have all the stud multipliers unlocked by then. Or, you know,
05:20you could just use a cheat code. Booster Gold, Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham.
05:38You know, it should be a crime that Booster Gold costs as much as he does. This dude comes from
05:43the 25th century and has the audacity to not bring any cool tech he may have had access to,
05:49at the time. He's a criminal. He ain't no hero. If he was, he'd come up with more than
05:59just laser beams and fancy flips. And yet, we gotta fork over 1,250,000 studs to use him.
06:07Dude, you're better off giving those studs away to grab Doomsday. Get this futuristic clown
06:12out of here.
06:22Gentlemen Ghost, Lego DC Super-Villains.
06:36Had there been an extra zero tacked on, we'd be fuming over Gentlemen Ghost way more than we
06:42just did with Booster Gold. Don't get us wrong, we think it's cool to throw in weird characters like
06:47him. We just wish that we weren't paying for the novelty, and Gentlemen Ghost is no different.
06:51You wanna know what you get for 500,000 studs? A buttload of nothing.
07:00He can slam the ground, charge into a cane-twirling frenzy, and fly.
07:05Okay, sure, you also get immunity to environmental hazards and he can reflect projectiles, but other
07:10than that, what use is he really other than ignoring damage?
07:14I wanted to be a member of the Teen Titans when I was younger, but then I realized that it
07:17looks like
07:17one of the requirements is a tragic backstory. And powers. And a moral-
07:22be it?
07:24Score x 10. Lego Batman The Video Game.
07:35We try to keep lists like this one kept to characters and characters only, but it's almost impossible to ignore
07:42the
07:42score times 10 stud multiplier. Unlike some of our other entries, it's always worth going for
07:47this multiplier as it can help clean up unlockables in a matter of minutes or even seconds.
08:00Thing is that the first LEGO Batman game is gonna make you work for it. Better start saving up early
08:06because you're gonna need 5 million studs on hand to acquire this. Granted, this will be
08:12easier to obtain if you've been unlocking the other multipliers first. And lastly, Cyborg Superman,
08:23LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham. Only appropriate that we end the list with another Superman clone
08:29with some extra bits and bobs for our efforts. Sure, Composite Superman is good for a two-characters-in-one
08:36kind of deal, but Cyborg Superman is the better option here. You get all of Superman's
08:41powers on top of the ability to blast anything with your laser beams. Wait, Superman can do that
08:48too. Well, you also get complete invulnerability! Oh, hang on, Supes got that as well. Okay, well,
08:54you're a Cyborg, and Cyborgs are cooler than aliens. So, yeah. What's the hardest unlockable
