00:37Here's some reaction from the end of the first day of the Masters.
00:41Felt like I got a lot out of my round today. It started pretty scrappy.
00:47I was hitting out of the trees a little bit the first seven holes and then started to string some
00:53good swings together from the eighth hole onwards.
00:57Played those last 11 and five under.
01:01But yeah, I settled into the round nicely even when I wasn't hitting fairways.
01:09I was trying to just get it up around the green and rely on my short game to get it
01:13up and down and move on.
01:14That's a big part of what you have to do around this golf course.
01:20Stayed really patient when I needed to and then, as I said, made some good swings and played a good
01:26stretch of holes there to finish up the round.
01:30As it gets drier, the grass around the greens gets stickier, that rye grass, so it makes it more difficult
01:38to hit the bump and runs.
01:40It also makes the putting through that grass a little bit trickier as well.
