00:00I think we can finally officially announce that the third annual Cubs for a Cure Radiothon is
00:08back and it is happening very soon. May 21st to the 22nd. We are like six weeks away. 10 a
00:17.m. to
00:1810 a.m. May 21st to the 22nd kicking off Cubs for a Cure weekend. Last year we raised $750
00:25,540
00:27on this very Radiothon with 100% of the proceeds going to Cancer Research. Raised about $1.5 million
00:37over the whole weekend with 100% going to Cancer Research Charities. The Radiothon proceeds going
00:43to Brain Up, of which I am on the board of directors. And as you guys know and the score
00:48audience knows, I got really involved in this after my brother Brad passed away. And somewhat
00:56serendivously, Brad passed away three years ago today. So it's kind of, you know, interesting
01:02timing that this announcement was able to come out today. I've been thinking about him a little
01:06bit extra this morning and he really loved, you know, he was on the score and he was, he
01:12really loved the first Radiothon that we did for Austin Harvest. And I know he would be very
01:17proud of how this thing has grown. Just listen. I mean, already on board for this upcoming Radiothon,
01:23we've got Cubs Charities. We have Mr. Duct Cleaning, Carl Allegretti and Arbor Investments,
01:31Doug and Stacey Meyer, Jeffrey LaMorte Salons, Russ Armstrong, the Chicago window guy, Aetna,
01:37Joe and Josh Stefani, John Gavin, Midwest Refrigeration, Four Corners, the Brain Tumor Network,
01:44and my new employer here, Fox Sports, all on for hour or multi-hour sponsorships of the Radiothon.
01:53Great organizations. If you or your company want to get involved, you can reach out. And,
01:59you know, this is, I've obviously done a lot of cool things in my career. And, you know,
02:04in my personal life, I'm most proud of my two young sons. But in terms of my professional career,
02:10this is the thing that I am most proud of. It is, it is number one. It is the singular
02:15accomplishment of my career. So I can't wait to come back in about six weeks and raise some more
02:22money for cancer research in honor of Lynn Bramer, in honor of Ryan Sandberg, in honor of Terry Bors,
02:27in honor of my brother, Brad, and in honor of everybody who's facing cancer still to this day.
