Transcript
00:00What's up, Metal Hammer? It is your protostar, Kyle Fletcher, the current AEW TNT champion.
00:05We are here at Wembley Stadium ahead of our big show, AEW All In, August 30th, 2026.
00:12But today, I'm here to tell you my four favorite metal albums of all time.
00:20My first one is going to be Discovering the Waterfront by Silverstein or Silverstain.
00:27I think I grew up calling it Silverstain. I think it's Silverstein.
00:31Anyway, it was one of my very first, I would say, metal albums that I discovered when I was, goodness,
00:37I was probably 12 years old, something like that, living in Australia.
00:41And I think I found them through professional wrestling, actually, which is funnily enough.
00:46One of my very first albums that got me into metal.
00:48My second one is going to be The Poison by Bullet For My Valentine.
00:55Bullet For My Valentine was also one of those very early metal bands that I got into,
01:00really kind of broadening my horizons for music.
01:03Probably one of the more popular metal bands of all time.
01:07I'd say maybe King of the Dad Rock era.
01:10But yeah, I'm going to say that's number two.
01:12Number three, I'm going to go with Atlas by Parkway Drive.
01:18Another one that's maybe a little bit on the newer side.
01:21I think it might have been 2012 when this one came out.
01:23It's one of the albums that I'll play when I'm trying to get pumped up for a wrestling match.
01:26Really kind of gets me in that zone, you know?
01:29My last one is going to be maybe a little bit controversial.
01:33Some people might not call it metal.
01:35I don't know.
01:36But I'm going to go with Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park.
01:40Another one that's probably pretty popular.
01:43A little bit heavier, but also different kind of styles meshed into one.
01:46Really kind of my jam.
01:47So there you go.
01:48That's my top four metal albums of all time by the protostar Kyle Fletcher.
