Footage of the sky turning bright magenta due to rare high-level light pollution

Sometimes, the most incredible sights are right outside your front door.

"I looked out the window and saw the magenta glow, so I got dressed and went for a walk to enjoy the moment," the filmer, Harris, told WooGlobe. "It’s not often light pollution reaches this intense level, so I wanted to make the most of it."

Taking a walk through the neighborhood allowed Harris to fully soak in the moment and capture the way the deep pink light transformed the surroundings.
