00:02It's not going to surprise anybody that the Celtics are at the top of that list at plus 170.
00:06And then you have the Cavaliers plus 330, the Pistons at plus 470.

00:13Then you have the Knicks at 5-1, and then obviously a substantial drop-off.
00:16Now, historically speaking, to win a championship in the NBA, either conference,
00:21you need to be a top-three seed.
00:23So the odds are certainly reflecting that in terms of teams just coming out of the East.
00:27Do you see any value down the board anywhere,
00:30or is it ultimately going to be one of those top four teams?
00:35Not really.
00:36I mean, I think Detroit at plus 470 feels tasty.
00:39They're the number one seed in the conference.

00:43We've obviously seen what this team's been able to do all season long.
00:45So if you want to take a stab maybe at a nice plus 470 value,
00:49if you believe that they can kind of run the East like they have pretty much all season long,
00:52I think that's a nice investment.
00:54We've talked about both of these teams on various shows.
00:56I've talked about them on here and on our network as well.
00:59I really like Charlotte, and I really like Atlanta.
01:01I think they're both really good stabs at 35 or 33-1, depending on where you're shopping.
01:05Obviously, Charlotte's been the darling story of the season.
01:08But the way the Atlanta Hawks have been playing over the last six weeks of the season
01:11with the addition of C.J. McCollum, as you mentioned, with Nikhil Alexander-Walker
01:14as the probable most improved player coming over to this team and looking fantastic,
01:19that's a team that you don't want to face in the first round.
01:21That's a team that could maybe get hot and keep this kind of hot streak going into the playoffs.
01:26So if those teams can both make it out of the play-in and actually lock up a top six
01:30spot
01:31and get into the top eight dance, then I think they could maybe make some noise.
01:34But as you mentioned, the top three value is probably where you'd want to take an investment.
01:38Getting a plus sign on all of them is nice,
01:39and I would maybe take a little bit of a lean towards some piston stock.
