00:00Someone probably shot her and once they started seeing that she couldn't control her bowels,
00:05what they did was drive her and drop her off and abandon her.
00:09I just picked up my foster dogs. There's one mama and then her two babies.
00:15They were just so frightened, complete, just blank stares.
00:21Hi. Hey babies.
00:25Hi babies.
00:26Hi babies. You okay?
00:29Okay, sweetie.
00:31We're gonna have to get you some back here.
00:33Her back bones were just sticking out. Her skin was so bad.
00:38It's okay, sweetie. How are you?
00:41They came out and just like shut down completely, didn't know where they were.
00:46Aw, they're hiding.
00:48Mama, she was friendly. You can tell she's been through a lot, but she was so hopeful.
00:53I set up their little space.
00:57Oh, look at you getting so comfortable.
00:59I really understand the importance of letting them decompress and not pushing myself onto them.
01:07Oh, look at that tail. Look at that tail. Oh, there you go.
01:11That day, I tried giving her a bath.
01:20I could tell throughout the days like they were getting a little bit more comfortable.
01:24It made me so happy when they would come up to me and let me pet them.
01:28Mama, she was pretty trusting with me once she sensed that she was in a safe place with her puppies.
01:34It took maybe about three days for me to realize that this wasn't normal.
01:38I noticed that as she was walking, poop would just come out.
01:41Pee would just come out.
01:44She can't hold anything in at all and it's just really messy.
01:49We're going to get you some help, Mama. I'm so sorry.
01:52We got hurt into a vet, found out that she has the bullet in her back.
01:57Unfortunately, they said it was not curable because the damage had already been done.
02:02I've had many moments where I'm just like, why?
02:05Is that it?
02:06And now she has to live with the consequences and she doesn't deserve that.
02:10She's such an easy dog to love. She's going to take somebody that is a little bit more patient,
02:16that understands her condition.
02:18He's so cute.
02:20And loves her enough to go through life with it.
02:24Ready to see your sisters and your mom?
02:27He was in my car, super scared.
02:30He was actually a little bit more timid than they were.
02:32He was just so confused, like, where am I?
02:35Do you remember your sister?
02:37Immediately, the brother and sister were so happy to see him.
02:40He's like, I want to see your brother.
02:43He was so happy to see Mama. Like, he was a Mama's toy.
02:47She's like, hey, my kid, where have you been?
02:49And within a few days, he started to warm up.
02:53It was just really fun seeing them experience those puppy moments that they've never once had.
02:59Then they all went on transport and they went into their foster homes.
03:04And since then, they've all been adopted.
03:08For Mama.
03:09I think they know when the baby's ready to leave the nest.
03:12And it seemed for her, she seemed more at peace.
03:15I would hope that she would find someone that really cares for her.
03:19Good girl.
03:21Good job.
03:22No, she's been through so much.
03:24She's so loving.
03:25You look so pretty.
03:26Like, there's not a day that goes by that she just doesn't want to please.
03:29And that's just one of the amazing things in dogs that I think they teach us is that
03:34there's so much beauty in the little things.
03:38I love being able to share these things because you never know who will fall in love with the dog
03:43or who will want to help and completely change their life.
