She was found freezing in the pouring rain after being abandoned and now she's her dad's best friend. We talked to her mom about how her husband spent hours making Romee feel at home after being abandoned.

00:03My husband crutches down on his knees,

00:06and this dog jumps all over him, licks him.

00:10On the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.

00:17Russell picked her up, hugged her,

00:19and there's no doubt in my mind that this dog is coming home with us

00:23unless we find the house that she lives at.

00:28It's like she knew he was a good person with good intent

00:31and that she was going to be taken care of in that very moment.

00:39We went to Petsmart, and we got her food.

00:45It was like she hadn't eaten in at least a month.

01:04She was a little shy at first.

01:06It took her about two days to fully feel comfortable.

01:10I love watching Romy and my husband because their relationship is unmatched.

01:17I loved it from the second he picked her up.

01:19We will go out every single morning, hang out with her all day.

01:25And now they are just best buds.

01:27For my husband, he is in heaven.

01:29He's so happy that we could give her a good home.
