The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is intensifying anti-crime operations under the State of Emergency, with coordinated exercises across the South Western Division leading to multiple arrests and ammunition seizures.

00:00Police carried out a series of intelligence-led operations between April 5th and 6th, targeting high-risk communities across the
00:08Southwestern Division.
00:10In Roosilac, officers recovered seven 12-gauge cartridges during a search of a home, leading to the arrest of a
00:1752-year-old man and 29-year-old woman.
00:21In La Bre, five rungs of .45 ammunition were found, and four men aged 21 to 23 were taken into
00:28custody.
00:29Additional exercises in Urupoch, Fisabad, Penal, and Separia included coordinated searches, stop-and-search operations, and road traffic checks, resulting
00:40in several traffic offenses.
00:42Meanwhile, two suspects linked to a firearm and ammunition discovery in Point 14 are expected to appear before a court
00:50on April 8th.
00:51One of the accused also faces charges related to a home invasion and other serious offenses.
00:56Police are urging members of the public to continue cooperating by reporting suspicious activity.
