00:57for our videos is imagine a sphere around me take a hit and then imagine that sphere filling up with
01:03my smoke cleansing and protecting me and then we will invite the entities that we want to join us

01:47for this week's meeting we will be discussing blood magic blood magic is not about sacrificing people
01:56it's not about killing or attacking people it's about making your magical workings more personal to you
02:04and enhancing the strength of whatever magic you create magic is very personal even if your intentions
02:12are for another person you are the one that is doing the work so the more you personalize it the
02:20stronger
02:20it will be as always you should set your intentions before beginning any work make
02:26your intentions as detailed as possible you can write them down if you need to with any magical working your
02:33intention is the most important factor if your intention is not clear your results
02:38will vary there are many uses for blood magic you can use it to bind yourself or others you can
02:46use it to summon
02:47entities you can use it as a sacrifice you can use it to make an unbreakable oath you can put
02:54a drop of
02:54blood in a potion to make it stronger you can use it to devote yourself to something someone or an
03:00entity
03:02if you're using a bong for a ritual you can put a drop of blood in the water to make
03:07it more powerful
03:08you can add a bit of blood to a spell by burning paper tissue or gauze that has dried blood
03:15on it
03:16the blood should be sourced ethically an easy way to get blood without creating a new wound is using
03:23the gauze from doctor's visits so whenever you get a shot have blood taken or get an iv you can
03:31save the
03:32gauze and there will be some blood on there if you happen to get a bleeding injury you can use
03:40a paper
03:40towel to soak up a little bit of the blood and save it for your magic if you tend to
03:47get nosebleeds
03:48you can save some of your bloody tissues
03:52if you have a condition where your gums bleed when you brush your teeth you can use a paper towel
03:58to soak
03:59up a little bit of that blood and use it for your magic some people who menstruate use menstrual blood
04:05but i personally never did because my menstrual blood was very traumatic for me because i had
04:14adenomiosis and i won't go into any further detail about that right here that's a topic for another
04:23time another video perhaps if you don't have doctor's visits or injuries often and you don't
04:30menstruate or you don't want to use menstrual blood you can simply prick your finger and you
04:38don't need much blood a single drop can be enough you can also use ethically sourced blood from non-human
04:46animals this will add the magic of that creature to your witchcraft it's helpful for imbuing magic with
04:56certain characteristics of that creature the elements they represent or the entities that favor them
05:03for example dog blood would be good for magic that focuses on loyalty love protection affection
05:10hakate persephone and hades
05:16for those of us who often cook meat you can collect some blood from the meat before you cook it
05:23just be
05:24sure to sanitize your hands and everything else that you use blood magic doesn't have to be scary it can
05:31be a good use of natural resources it can be a way to get closer to certain deities or entities
05:39it's also
05:40an easy way to greatly enhance the power of your magic it can be intimidating but it's really very simple
05:49however if you're not quite ready for real blood you can always substitute another red liquid to symbolize
05:58blood and that will work it won't be quite as strong as if you use real blood but it will
06:05still work
