01:04Thank you very much.
01:06Welcome, everybody. Welcome, welcome, welcome to The Tonight Show.
01:10You're here.
01:12Thank you for watching at home. Welcome to the show.
01:15Well, guys, earlier today, New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani made a surprise visit to Washington to meet with President
01:22Trump.
01:22Yep, this was Mamdani's second time in the Oval Office, and weirdly enough, it was also Trump's.
01:27Oh.
01:30Yep, Mamdani and Trump strangely get along, even though they have nothing in common.
01:33It's like seeing a video of a horse that became friends with a duck, you know?
01:38Speaking of visits to Washington today, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos went to the White House to discuss the streamer's potential
01:44deal with Warner Brothers.
01:45And we actually got audio of his meeting with Trump.
01:48Oh.
01:48Check it out.
01:48Thank you for agreeing to meet with me, Mr. President.
01:51Of course, I love Netflix.
01:52You guys make us a cake, right?
01:54That's right.
01:54Is this cake?
01:55No, sir, that's your desk.

02:12I don't.
02:12Help me for a show quick.
02:14Isn't that interesting, right?
02:16I thought it was cake.
02:21Well, guys, I read that 28 million people watched Trump's State of the Union, but the ratings
02:26were down about 12% from Trump's last speech to Congress.
02:29Yeah.
02:30Let's just say that Trump's ratings went from J.D. Vance to Marco Rubio.
02:34Well, get this.
02:35It was just announced that mentalist Oz Perlman will host this year's White House Correspondents
02:39Dinner.
02:40Hopefully, Oz will get inside Trump's head and reveal what the last five MRIs couldn't.
02:46Switching gears, Tesla announced that they will soon activate the noise-canceling feature
02:50for their Cybertruck.
02:52This way, you'll no longer hear people making fun of you for owning a Cybertruck.
03:04Some more business news.
03:06Papa John's just said that they're closing hundreds of locations across the country.
03:11You know it's bad when no one asks why.
03:16Yeah, business began dwindling when customers started upgrading to Lunchables.
03:23Some entertainment news tomorrow.
03:24The movie Scream 7 arrives in theaters.
03:29And they just released one final teaser.
03:32It looks pretty scary.
03:33Watch this.
03:34Nearly two hours of bone-chilling, non-stop terror that will shake you to your core.
03:41It's Trump's State of the Union.
03:44I'm sorry, sorry.
03:45That was the wrong video.
03:46Here's the real teaser.
03:47An intense viewing experience that's utterly horrifying and will make your blood run cold.
03:56It's...
03:56Watching Bridgerton with your parents.
03:58No, no, no, no.
03:59Come on.
03:59Can we please just show the real teaser for Scream 7?
04:02He has a violent past, and now he's looking for revenge.
04:07Watch out.
04:08It's...
04:09Punch the Monkey.
04:10Aw.
04:11Aw.
04:14I'm fine with that.
04:16Did you guys see this?
04:17The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees were just announced, and this year there are 17 of
04:21them.
04:22To help us break down the entire list, it's time for the Rock and Roll Minute.
04:27It's the Rock and Roll Minute.
04:30And here now to tell us more is a true music legend, and I believe a future Hall of Famer.
04:36This man needs absolutely no introduction.
04:39From Mumford & Sons, it's a man from humble beginnings.
04:44He grew up in Wimbledon, southwest London, as a young boy.
04:48He dreamed of one day playing music for sold-out crowds around the world.
04:53He spent one year studying at the University of Edinburgh before returning to London to
04:57focus on his music career.
04:59And that's when he began playing drums for Laura Marling.
05:03It was there where he met a group of musicians and friends that would one day become Mumford
05:08& Sons.
05:08He didn't realize it at the time, but they were going to make music history.
05:13Ladies and gentlemen, fast forward to December of 2012, when he was included in the Forbes
05:2130 Under 30 alongside Rihanna and Adele.
05:24Quite an honor.
05:25And beyond just being an incredible musical talent, this man has accomplished things as a music producer
05:33as well.
05:34In 2014, he produced Hold Fast by Christian Letts.
05:38In 2016, he produced Gamble for a Rose by King Charles.
05:42And in 2025, he produced Say My Name in Your Sleep by Maisie Peters.
05:46Am I missing anything?
05:47Well, Jimmy, he also sang a cover of Dink's song with Oscar Isaac for the 2013 Coen Brothers
05:54film Inside Llewyn Davis.
05:56He's never seen on film, but he voices the protagonist's musical partner, Mike.
06:01Thank you, sir.
06:02That's right.
06:04Such a great role.
06:06So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, most recently, the band just released their
06:11latest album, Prizefighter.
06:14Unlike previous Mumford & Sons albums, Prizefighter features several collaborations with other artists,
06:19including Chris Stapleton, Hosier, Gigi Perez, and Gracie Abrams.
06:23And this weekend, they'll be the musical guests on Saturday Night Live.
06:27Ladies and gentlemen, it's Marcus Mumford.
06:44Thanks, Jimmy.
06:48This year, the nominee.
06:49And this has been your Rock and Roll Minute.
06:53Marcus Mumford, everyone.
07:02Take care, buddy.
07:08Take care, buddy.
07:13He had no idea about it.
07:15His cards were full.
07:17He was so upset to do a whole bit.
07:24Oh, he's going to kill me, man.
07:27Finally, I saw that the cottage from Heated Rivalry is now available on Air...
07:32B&B.
07:34Because that's why everyone watched Heated Rivalry.
07:36For the cottage.
07:39All right, everybody.
07:40It's time to play Who Said It?
07:42Here we go.
07:43Who said it?
07:45Tell me who said it.
07:50Okay, here's how it works.
07:51I'm going to show you a real quote.
07:53And it's up to you to decide who said it.
07:55And tonight, we're looking at quotes that could have been said by either President Trump or a cartoon character.
08:03All right, let's take a look at our first quote.
08:05It's,
08:06I want to go home, Grandma.
08:08I don't want to stay here.
08:11Oh.
08:11This could be him.
08:12That's got to be Trump with some humorous story.
08:15I don't want to go home, Grandma.
08:16I don't want to stay here.
08:17I don't want to stay here.
08:18I don't know why Grandma, though.
08:20I think it's Trump.
08:21What do you think?
08:22Yeah, I think it is.
08:24Trump.
08:25Yeah.
08:25Yeah.
08:26All right, well, by a round of applause, who thinks it was President Trump?
08:32Who thinks it was a cartoon?
08:36Well, let's see who said it.
08:38I want to go home, Grandma.
08:40I don't want to stay here.
08:45Don't let me do it, Grandma.
08:48Wow.
08:48All right, here is our next quote.
08:50The hair found me.
08:52It was my destiny.
08:53Oh, shoot.
08:55Hmm.
08:56It feels like it could be a trick.
08:58Feels like a trick question.
08:59Yeah, because it's clear.
09:00Because he's got that hair.
09:01I don't think he would ever say,
09:02My hair found me?
09:05Maybe he could.
09:06Yeah, I don't know.
09:07He could.
09:07He could say anything.
09:08That's the trouble.
09:09I know.
09:10What do you think?
09:11Maybe it's a cartoon of Trump.
09:13Yeah.
09:13Whoa.
09:14No, no, no.
09:14No, that's too deep.
09:16We wouldn't do that.
09:16We're not going to go meta.
09:17Yeah.
09:18What is it?
09:19The hair found me?
09:20The hair found me.
09:20Do that, right?
09:21Yeah, he'd never say that.
09:21He would never.
09:22He loves his hair.
09:23Gosh, see, that's...
09:25It sounds so unlike him
09:26that I'm going to say it is him.
09:30Wow.
09:31All right.
09:32Who thinks it was Trump?
09:35Who thinks it was a cartoon character?
09:38I think cartoon.
09:39Let's see.
09:40Who said it?
09:40The hair found me.
09:42It was my destiny.
09:43Yeah.
09:44Paw Patrol.
09:46It's my jam.
09:49Now, all right, here's the next quote.
09:50This is a big, beautiful, powerful helicopter.
09:56Are they trying to trick us again?
09:57That's him, right?
09:58Yeah, it's got to be him, but it might not be him.
09:59Because he says, big, beautiful, helicopter, powerful,
10:02big, beautiful.
10:03Hopefully it doesn't mess up my hair, but it might.
10:05The hair found me.
10:06The hair found me.
10:07It's a big, beautiful, powerful helicopter.
10:10I'm going to say him.
10:11Definitely Trump.
10:12More than one adjective, that's it.
10:13Trump.
10:14Definitely Trump.
10:15Yeah, more than one adjective.
10:16It gives it away.
10:17It gives it Trump automatically.
10:17Big, beautiful, powerful,
10:18capable.
10:22People say, sir.
10:23People say, sir.
10:24That's great.
10:26People say, sir.
10:27Not a lot of people know that.
10:30Not a lot of people know it's a very big, powerful,
10:32powerful, powerful, sir.
10:34Okay, who thinks it was Trump?
10:39Who thinks it was a cartoon?
10:41One person.
10:43Wow.
10:44You're going to have to leave with Marcus Mumford
10:45if you're right.
10:48Let's see who said it.
10:49A big, beautiful, powerful, helicopter.
10:53A big, beautiful, powerful.
10:59Why am I saying?
11:01Let's do another one here.
11:03The quote is,
11:03you're a Looney Tune, right?
11:06Oh, shoot.
11:08Hmm.
11:09Because he could be describing
11:10a female reporter calling her a Looney Tune.
11:13That's something he does.
11:14Yeah, I think I could be Bugs Bunny, though, right?
11:17You're a Looney Tune, right?
11:18Right.
11:18Like being...
11:19Or like a...
11:20Like Breaking the Fourth Wall, Bugs?
11:22Yeah, yeah.
11:22Classic Bugs Bunny style?
11:24Could be.
11:25Gosh, dang it.
11:27You both say Trump?
11:28I mean, a cartoon to refer...
11:31I think, like, a Looney Tune is such a specific cartoon.
11:35No other cartoon is going to call, like...
11:38Bugs Bunny would.
11:39I mean, when has Bugs Bunny ever referenced, like, the company?
11:44The great...
11:45Wait, was he breaking the Fourth Wall?
11:481943's Robert Giacomo, I think, reference...
11:50Mel Blanc.
11:51Mel Blanc, who has voiced Bugs Bunny.
11:53Yeah.
11:53Yeah, he would probably go, like,
11:55you're a Looney Tune.
11:56Like, to one of the...
11:57Like, Elmer Fuggers.
11:57I thought we weren't going to get meta with this.
11:59Oh, damn.
12:00No self-reprovention.
12:02I mean, there's no money riding on this.
12:03It's just for pride.
12:04I got my meta glass on, so I'm ready to go.
12:07Oh, my God.
12:07You're wearing meta glass?
12:08Yeah.
12:0924-7.
12:10That's so cool, man.
12:1024-6.
12:12All right.
12:12Take one day off.
12:13Yeah, one day off.
12:14Yeah.
12:15All right.
12:15I'm going to say Trump.
12:16Yeah, Trump.
12:17Who says Trump?
12:20Who says cartoon?
12:23Okay.
12:24Let's see who said it.
12:25You're a Looney Tune, right?
12:29Let's do, uh, let's try.
12:31He did the half accordion.
12:32Yeah, right, yeah.
12:33You're a Looney Tune.
12:35You're a Looney Tune.
12:36Yeah.
12:36Not Looney Tunes.
12:37Yeah, yeah, Looney Tunes.
12:38You're a Looney Tune.
12:39Right?
12:40Okay, interesting.
12:41Right?
12:42But the person could go, yeah.
12:43Yeah, yes, I am, sir.
12:44I am.
12:45Thank you, sir.
12:46They say, sir, am I a Looney Tune?
12:48I told them right.
12:48Big guy.
12:49Tears in his eyes.
12:50Not many people know that.
12:50Not many people know they're a Looney Tune.
12:54Let's do one more.
12:55The quote here is, I am the chosen one.
12:58Oh.
13:00Dang.
13:00Hmm.
13:01I'm going to say Trump.
13:03You're going to say it.
13:04Eh, Trump.
13:05I don't.
13:06Cartoon.
13:07He's definitely said it.
13:08He's definitely cartoon.
13:09This quote is a cartoon.
13:11I think cartoon, because I don't think he's ever actually full-on said it out loud.
13:16I think he said it.
13:16No, I think he said it.
13:17He projects that.
13:18I got $2 says he said it.
13:20He's definitely said it.
13:22No, I'm not betting.
13:23That's not a drum roll.
13:24He said that's not a drum roll.
13:26$2.
13:26That's not a drum roll.
13:27What is?
13:27$2,000.
13:28A lot of people don't know that that's what a drum roll is.
13:30A lot of people say, sir.
13:33$2.
13:33Uh, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, he wouldn't do it.
13:37I think cartoon.
13:37All right, who says Trump?
13:41Who says cartoon?
13:43Let's see who said it.
13:44I am the chosen one.
13:46That's all right.
13:48Sorry.
13:49What?
13:49Sorry, I'm hearing we have another clip.
13:51Can we see it?
13:51I am the chosen one.
13:54Everybody wins.
13:56Everybody wins.
13:57That's all the time we have for Who Said It?
13:59We have a great show.
14:00Priyanka Chopra Jonas is here.
14:03The best.
14:05Bobby Cannavale is joining us.
14:08We've got stand-up from KC Shornima.
14:12Stick around.
14:13We'll be right back with Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
14:16Come on, we're back.
14:39Our first guest is one of the biggest stars on the planet.
14:43You can see her in the giant new action movie, The Bluff.
14:46It's out now on Prime Video.
14:48Everyone, please welcome Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
14:58We're back.
15:00We're back.
15:01We're back.
15:02Come on.
15:03Come on.
15:03Come on.
15:04Come on.
15:04Come on.
15:05Oh, my God.
15:05Welcome back.
15:06I'm so happy to be back.
15:09We love you.
15:10I'm so happy every time I see you.
15:12I always have fun news.
15:13Congrats.
15:14You have the number one movie right now.
15:15Not too shabby.
15:15That's pretty great.
15:16Congrats.
15:18Congrats.
15:18Good to you.
15:19Yeah.
15:20It just came out yesterday, too, so that's even better.
15:23But this other thing is going viral on the Internet as well.
15:26You're doing a new movie.
15:29Now, it looks fantastic already.
15:31Just from the poster, it went viral.
15:32But you've done, like, 60 movies?
15:34Some such.
15:35I don't keep track of it.
15:36In 20 years.
15:37IMDb lies.
15:38Sometimes it's, like, 80.
15:39Sometimes it's 60.
15:41I don't know.
15:41That's a lot of movies.
15:42Yeah, it's a lot of movies.
15:43But this is your return to...
15:44Indian cinema.
15:45Indian cinema.
15:46Yes.
15:46I haven't done an Indian movie in almost, like, six or seven years.
15:49And this movie is called Baranasi.
15:53And it is directed by S.S. Rajamali, who's one of India's most amazingly talented directors.
15:58And it's going to be an adventure.
16:00I'm very excited about it.
16:01It's already, like, the rumors.
16:02April 27.
16:03April 27.
16:03The rumors are just epic.
16:05It's IMAX?
16:07Yes.
16:07We've shot in IMAX format.
16:09So it's going to be four IMAX theaters.
16:11It's going to be great.
16:11And all over the world.
16:12All over the world, sir.
16:14Yes.
16:14Are you still filming?
16:15Yes.
16:15Oh, my God.
16:16We've been filming for 14 months.
16:17We're still filming for another six.
16:20Another six.
16:21So 20 months of filming.
16:22Priyanka, you go big, man.
16:24Yeah, man.
16:25Go big or go home.
16:26Go big or go home.
16:27Come on.
16:28But let's talk about The Bluff.
16:29Here you are, number one in 28 countries.
16:32People love a good...
16:34A good pirate movie.
16:37Here's actually a little BTS from behind the scenes from you.
16:40Yeah.
16:41Ooh, scary.
16:42I mean, what does your baby say?
16:45Would she come see his mom at work?
16:46Oh, yeah.
16:47She was, she was, what, she must have been two and a half years old that time.
16:51And she came to set and I looked kind of like that.
16:54It's the bloodiest scene in the movie.
16:56I'm head to toe covered in blood.
16:59And, you know, it was burger day, I remember.
17:00Somebody had got us like hamburgers for the whole crew.
17:04So I was sitting there eating a hamburger when she walked in.
17:06And I think she just looked at me up and down.
17:09And she was like trying to compute, is that a boo-boo, mama?
17:13From your head to your toe.
17:16What's a big boo-boo, mama?
17:17That's a big boo-boo.
17:18Wow.
17:19But then I had to like explain to her.
17:20I was like, this is pretend.
17:21Mama does pretend for makeup.
17:23We went into the hair and makeup trailer.
17:24I got her little like brushes.
17:26She put the blood on my face.
17:27It was really cute.
17:28That's a really bonding moment.
17:30Yeah, absolutely.
17:31Bonding moment.
17:31Sounds beautiful.
17:32My job is weird, guys.
17:34I don't know how to explain it.
17:35When you're filming a big action scene, what gets you pumped up?
17:38What gets you in the zone?
17:40So in this movie specifically, I really hope you all enjoy it.
17:43Because first of all, like when do we see an amazing real pirate movie?
17:47And a woman playing a pirate?
17:49Yes.
17:49Which is like so much fun.
17:50Yeah.
17:52What are you talking about?
17:55So I was really trying to think about iconic female action heroes in the past.
18:00And I kept thinking about the bride from Kill Bill.
18:03And her reason for why she goes on this vengeance, right?
18:08Is you're trying to take away the life that she dreamed of building.
18:12So this movie is a similar energy.
18:14How far would a parent go to protect that child?
18:17And what are you really capable of if you have to protect your kid?
18:20I love it.
18:21Yeah.
18:21So I used to listen to Kill Bill's soundtrack.
18:23Yeah.
18:23And channel your inner Uma Thurman.
18:25Yeah.
18:25My hair, makeup team, me, my wardrobe, my dresser.
18:28All five of us would walk on like, yeah, to Kill Bill music.
18:32And just be really hype.
18:33And our director, Frank Flowers, he's here somewhere.
18:35Is he?
18:36In the audience.
18:37Yeah, he's in the audience.
18:38Oh, yeah.
18:39Hey, bud.
18:42You are very talented.
18:44You are very, very talented.
18:46It's a great movie.
18:48He was my biggest hype guy.
18:50He used to have a microphone on set and be like,
18:52and just doing the thing.
18:55Vibes.
18:55It paid off, bud.
18:56It's great.
18:57Is it produced by the Russo brothers?
18:58Yes, it is produced by the Russo brothers.
19:00That's too shabby.
19:01Come on.
19:01The Russo siblings.
19:02I have to give a shout out to Angela Russo as well,
19:05who was at the helm of this one.
19:06Yeah.
19:06Congrats again on this movie.
19:08It is a pirate movie.
19:09Yes.
19:09How do we explain what this movie, The Bluff, is?
19:11It's based in the 19th century and around a slice of time where pirates were being hunted by the same,
19:19you know, army that they helped build and colonize so many parts of the world.
19:24And this is based in Cayman Islands, which is also a really interesting time where pirates in the Caribbean really
19:29did exist.
19:30So, Frankie takes us to a world where, first of all, female pirates whose stories have been erased in history.
19:39Yeah.
19:39We have so many of them.
19:40Mary Read.
19:41Yes, we've seen a few things around her.
19:43Grace O'Malley, Ching Shih.
19:46But we've never heard about female pirates.
19:48And I think between the Russos and Frankie and Joe, they really wanted to put a female at the helm
19:54of this movie.
19:54So, it's about a woman trying to protect her family from the bad guys of her past.
20:01And she's really good at killing.
20:03Yeah.
20:03I want to show up here in a clip.
20:05Here's Priyanka Chopra Jonas in The Bluff.
20:08Take a look.
20:10Come on.
20:22Come on.
20:24I want to get married on my birthday!
20:27Hey!
20:29Hey!
20:33Hey!
20:33What the hell is waiting for years than any lady?
20:36Be careful of Итакs.
20:38I don't like this.
20:39I don't like this!
20:50Yes! Yes!
20:53The same person who taught me this.
20:57Priyanka Chopra Jonas, everybody!
20:59More with Priyanka after the break.
21:01We're playing a fun game. Stick around.
21:03Come on back.
21:08Our littlest one really, really wanted a pet.
21:10He really loves reptiles, and so...
21:12Oh, my gosh.
21:13So after a lot of discussion, a lot of research,
21:16we decided to get a bearded dragon, and...
21:17Really? Yeah.
21:18Now, what research?
21:30Welcome back, everybody.
21:32We're hanging out with Priyanka Chopra Jonas right here.
21:36Arr!
21:37Now, Priyanka, you play a pirate in your new movie,
21:40The Bluff, so it's time for a new game called Arr!
21:49Arr!
21:49Now, here's how it works.
21:53We're gonna take turns.
21:55Turns!
21:56Being given a song, and we have to get the other person
22:00to guess the name of the song by singing it,
22:02and we can only say, Arr!
22:05But while we're talking,
22:06now are we talking like that the whole time?
22:09Ew!
22:10Yes, you kind of sound like a surfer.
22:12I don't know what I sound like.
22:14All right, here we go.
22:15My pirate sounds really different in this movie.
22:18Yeah, all right, here we go.
22:19I'll go, no, I'll go first.
22:20Oh, you go first.
22:21Yeah, here we go.
22:22Okay.
22:22All right, ready?
22:23Oh, my God.
22:24Okay, yeah.
22:43Oh, no!
22:44Why can't I sound?
22:46Arr!
22:47Arr!
22:47Arr!
22:48Arr!
22:50Arr!
22:51Arr!
22:52Arr!
22:53But I can't.
22:54I know the song, but I don't know it.
22:56Come on, it's golden!
22:57Golden K-pop.
22:58K-pop, Demon Hunter!
23:02Yeah.
23:09All right, here we go.
23:11My daughter is four, we're not there yet.
23:13Okay, yeah.
23:14You're in Baby Shark land.
23:15Yeah, we are still there.
23:17Baby Shark.
23:18It's your turn.
23:21Whenever you're ready.
23:25Okay.
23:29R-R.
23:31R-R.
23:33R-R.
23:33R-R.
23:35R-R.

23:46Come on!
23:46Come on!
23:50Backstreet is back!
23:51They are, baby.
23:52They're back.
23:53They're amazing at the sphere.
23:54They actually are.
23:54Oh, I didn't see that sphere.
23:56Oh, it's insane.
23:57They're fantastic.
23:57They did the SNL 50th show.
24:01And they crushed them.
24:02Yeah, they were great.
24:03Here we go.
24:04Ooh.
24:04I'll give you an easy one, by the way.
24:07I think we're working as a team.
24:09Okay.
24:09Yes.
24:09Okay, fine.
24:10Are we all?
24:10Yeah, I think so.
24:11That's great.
24:12That's great.
24:13Pirates against the world.
24:14I got this one.
24:14Ready?
24:15Yeah.
24:16R-R.
24:18R-R.
24:18R-R.
24:20R-R.
24:22R-R.
24:23R-R.
24:25R-R.
24:26R-R.
24:27R-R.
24:28R-R.
24:28Blink...
24:29What's the name of the song?
24:30Right?
24:31Yeah.
24:32R-R.
24:33R-R.
24:34R-R.
24:36R-R.
24:36R-R.
24:37It's Blink 82's song.
24:38What is the song?
24:39Yeah.
24:40R-R.
24:41R-R.
24:42R-R.
24:45R-R.
24:45R-R.
24:47R-R.
24:50I've got a song.
24:53I knew.
24:54I knew work sucks.
24:56I know.
24:58No, you can't do out of order.
25:01Nice try.
25:02You had to do that one.
25:03OK, I have to do this one.
25:06Gosh, I know very little of this song.
25:09Again, I'm a toddler at home, OK?
25:13R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R.
25:18Uh-huh, uh-huh.
25:19R, a-petit, a-petit, a-petit, a-petit, a-petit, a-ha, uh-huh.
25:25Rosé and Bruno Mars.
25:26That's good, that's good, that's good.
25:27All right.
25:28My daughter's obsessed with that song.
25:30Yes!
25:30She's great.
25:31She loves Bruno.
25:32And we love Bruno too.
25:33Ooh, ooh!
25:35What happened?
25:35That sound means we're down to the final rrrr-round.
25:41And for this one, we're both gonna pick the song.
25:45And we have to get Questlove himself an rrrr.
25:52Let's go.
25:52To guess the song.
25:55Okay.
25:56Here we go.
25:57And we don't have to use harmony.
26:02But if we want to, I know.
26:04Harmony would be great.
26:05That would be great.
26:06Okay.
26:06Oh, he's gonna get that in a second.
26:08But, yes.
26:08Well, what?
26:09But that's fine.
26:10That's fine.
26:11It's fun.
26:11All right.
26:12Ready?
26:12So do we give a count off?
26:14Okay.
26:14One, two, one.
26:15Sorry.
26:18Three, two, one.
26:19I do one, two, three, four.
26:21Okay.
26:21Ready?
26:21Yep.
26:22Okay.
26:23One, two, three, four.
26:25Arr.
26:25Arr.
26:27Arr.
26:27Arr.
26:28Arr.
26:29Arr.
26:30Arr.
26:30Arr.
26:30Arr.
26:31Arr.
26:32Arr.
26:32Arr.
26:34Arr.
26:37Oh!
26:38I was about to say, uh, I thought it was pretty fly for a white guy.
26:42It's, uh...
26:42Arr.
26:43Who let the dogs out?
26:44Arr.
26:47The Bahamas!
26:49Condays to Priyanka Topra Jonas!
26:51We're talking to Bobby Cannavale!
26:53After the break!
26:55Stick around!
26:56Cut around!
26:59Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh!
27:13Our next guest is an Emmy-winning and Tony-nominated actor who stars in the new series Scarpetta,
27:21which premieres on Prime Video March 11th.
27:23Please welcome Bobby Cannavale!
27:42Come on, bud.
27:44Looking good, as always, my friend.
27:46Nice to see you.
27:47Nice to be here.
27:48The last time I saw you was on Broadway.
27:50On stage, yeah.
27:51We were on stage to play Art.
27:53It was you, James Cordy.
27:55Neil Patrick Harris.
27:57And you were unbelievable in that play.
27:59You were fantastic.
28:00Great job.
28:01Thank you very much.
28:02You really had a drive-up.
28:03Very sweet.
28:04Jimmy was very sweet.
28:05You sent those beautiful flowers over and that gorgeous card.
28:09I actually did.
28:10The card said, oh, my God, you were incredible.
28:12You were my favorite.
28:14And then I went to the other guy's dressing room
28:16to show them and gloat a little bit,
28:17and they had the same card.
28:20I guess.
28:21What?
28:21That must have been a big mix-up.
28:22That's a mix-up.
28:23My assistant must have messed up.
28:24No, that's the move.
28:26That's the move when you've got three.
28:27Yeah.
28:28Last time, Rose Byrne, your partner, was on our show,
28:31and she was telling me that you guys were in the market
28:34to get a pet.
28:36A pet.
28:38Yes.
28:39The most famous being a dragon in the world?
28:41Yes, that's correct.
28:41You talking about?
28:42She said you couldn't go to the Golden Globes with her
28:44because you were picking out a pet for the littlest one?
28:47Yeah, for Raphael.
28:48Yeah.
28:49So, you know, I've never had a pet in my life.
28:50This is the first pet I've ever had.
28:52And our littlest one really, really wanted a pet
28:55and really loves reptiles.
28:56And so...
28:57Oh, my gosh.
28:57So after a lot of discussion, a lot of research,
29:00we decided to get a bearded dragon.
29:02Really?
29:02Yeah.
29:03What research?
29:08What research?
29:09I love this guy.
29:09I got to tell you, he's pretty magnificent.
29:11Your son?
29:12Oh.
29:13That's so nice of you.
29:15That's so nice of you.
29:16The bearded dragon.
29:17Oh, yeah.
29:17Do you like it?
29:18But she destroyed my life with that announcement.
29:20I got to tell you, it was like...
29:21No, everyone wants to know about it.
29:23Yeah, I know.
29:23But now, you've bonded with the pet?
29:24Yeah, I love him.
29:25I just love him.
29:26I never dreamed I could love an animal like this.
29:29But every day now, I just, I have like a little ritual,
29:32and I, you know, I take him out at like one o'clock.
29:35You know, I take him out at like one o'clock.
29:37I put him on my chest.
29:38We talk.
29:39No, I talk.
29:41We talk.
29:42I talk.
29:42We talk.
29:43We talk.
29:43We talk.
29:44I think you do listen to talking.
29:46I tell him a lot of things, you know.
29:47You do?
29:47I talk to him.
29:48It's like therapy.
29:48Yeah, I don't have therapy.
29:49I don't do Pilates or yoga and things.
29:52So, it's my moment, my time.
29:54I talk to him, and...
29:55What's his name?
29:56Does he have a name?
29:57His name is Benny.
29:58He's named after Benson Boone,
30:00because my son loves Benson Boone.
30:03That's awesome.
30:04And he's great.
30:05Does he do flips?
30:06He doesn't do the flips, but...
30:09But, you know, I build him these little...
30:11The truth is, he doesn't do much.
30:13I know, I know.
30:14He doesn't do much,
30:15but I put these little obstacle courses down,
30:18these little, like, terrains,
30:19and I got him a little hammock.
30:21A hammock.
30:22And I got him a little thing to climb,
30:23but he doesn't really climb anything.
30:25I mean, he just walks around.
30:27Baby steps.
30:27And he eats roaches and crickets.
30:30Well, next time you could bring him on the show, maybe.
30:33Maybe I will.
30:34Okay, good.
30:34Thank you for talking about that.
30:36I appreciate it.
30:36Let's talk about your project.
30:37Scarpetta, by the way.
30:38This is based on these giant, giant books.
30:41Oh, my gosh.
30:42Huge, huge books.
30:42They've been around for over 20 years,
30:44and, I mean...
30:45Sold over 120 million.
30:46120 million copies.
30:47Yeah.
30:48One of the reasons you said
30:49that you like doing this character
30:50is because you eat in this show.
30:52I love eating on camera, man.
30:54I just love it.
30:54Like, you know, I did a movie a long time ago,
30:56and a very famous actor,
30:58a very excellent actor,
30:59and we had to eat in the scene.
31:00And I didn't know any better.
31:02I ate, like, eight grilled cheese sandwiches.
31:04And he was like, you know, just for the future,
31:07if you just hold it in your hands,
31:10it'll feel like you've been eating it.
31:12The audience will think you're eating it.
31:14And I was like, what?
31:16Doesn't make any sense to me.
31:18So, I enjoy eating.
31:20I think it adds, like, a dimension to the scene.
31:23Really?
31:23I do, you know?
31:24I made this movie called The Irishman,
31:27and I had to eat...
31:29And I had to do the scene with Bob De Niro,
31:32and I'm supposed to be eating steak, you know?
31:34And he's like...
31:34The whole scene is about him getting me steaks, you know?
31:37And Marty was like,
31:39you're gonna eat the steak, right?
31:40And I said, yeah, I'm gonna eat the steak.
31:41You know I'm gonna eat the steak.
31:42And I ate, like, ten steaks.
31:45But the scene is very funny, you know?
31:47It's very funny.
31:48There's something about a person talking while they're eating.
31:50That's what people do.
31:51Yeah.
31:52I wanna show everyone a clip.
31:53Here's Bobby Cannavale in Scarpetta.
31:55Take a look.
31:55I think I'm eating.
31:56We all need space, right?
31:58We need our space,
31:59especially now that we're working with the doc again.
32:01What?
32:01You're working with Kay?
32:03Yeah.
32:03It's not a big deal.
32:04It's just, you know, like, temporary,
32:05so that I could be legal at the crime scenes
32:07and, you know, post-mortems and like that.
32:11In what capacity?
32:13I think she's defining it as, uh,
32:15forensic ops specialist.
32:18You're a specialist, Peter.
32:21You're a retired detective.
32:24What?
32:24Can you believe this?
32:26No.
32:27Did you know?
32:27Morning.
32:28You gave my husband a job.
32:33Yeah.
32:35Why would you do that, Kay?
32:36Because I needed help.
32:39Well, why him?
32:41Yeah, mom.
32:42That's how you do it.
32:43That's eat acting as well.
32:45That's good, man.
32:46That's double.
32:46He's got everything.
32:47Bobby Cannavale, everybody.
32:49Scarpetta premieres March 11th on Prime Video.
32:52Stick around.
32:55Always.
33:11Our next guest can be seen at Zany's in Nashville.
33:15Oh, I love Zany's.
33:16April 24th and 25th, making her Tonight Show debut.
33:20Please welcome the very funny KC Shornima.
33:31Hi, how are you guys?
33:36I'm so excited to be here.
33:38I live in New York.
33:39I just moved in with my boyfriend.
33:41Has anyone else made, like, a huge mistake recently?
33:45It's awful.
33:46We fight all the time.
33:47And he told me that the reason we fight so much
33:49is because I always have to win.
33:51Which is, you know, I think what a loser would say.
33:55It's like,
33:56yeah, I also don't want to be right all the time.
33:58I wish you knew stuff.
34:01But he doesn't.
34:03He's a moron.
34:05He is.
34:06He's really dumb.
34:07He does this one dumb thing
34:08that I think a lot of guys do,
34:09where he will take another man's side over me.
34:12Do you guys know what I'm talking about?
34:14It's like,
34:14we were driving upstate the other day,
34:16and I was driving,
34:17and this guy cut me off,
34:18and I was like,
34:18I hope that guy crashes.
34:20And my boyfriend goes,
34:22I think he was just trying to take the exit.
34:27Why would you say that?
34:30You're never gonna see him again.
34:33You have to spend the rest of the weekend with me.
34:37Like, don't say that unless you're gonna take the exit
34:40and build a life with him in Connecticut.
34:48I would never do that.
34:49When someone cuts him off,
34:50I lean over,
34:51I honk the horn for him.
34:53Because I'm a good girlfriend.
34:55Because I'm a good girlfriend.
34:56I did that one time,
34:56and he was like,
34:57I think you have road rage.
34:59And I was like,
35:00you're just saying that because I'm Latina.
35:02And he was like,
35:03you're Asian.
35:07And I was like,
35:08I didn't know you were listening.
35:11I am Asian,
35:12but I look really racially ambiguous.
35:14I look like whatever Dora is.
35:23It's convenient to look racially ambiguous here.
35:26You know,
35:26because like,
35:27during the pandemic,
35:28when everyone was like the Asian virus,
35:29I was like,
35:30aye, aye, aye.
35:34See?
35:35You know?
35:36And now they're asking for your papers,
35:38and I'm like,
35:39you were gonna ask me,
35:40Casey, Running Eagle, Shornima?
35:44If I have my papers,
35:45like the land knows my footsteps,
35:47white man.
35:59I'm from Nepal.
36:00If you guys don't know where Nepal is,
36:02you can ask any white dude with dreads.
36:03He'll tell you.
36:06He knows where it is.
36:09I grew up in Nepal.
36:10Well,
36:11I had a really fun childhood.
36:12Like one time when I was a kid,
36:13my dad came home drunk
36:15with a live baby deer.
36:18And we were like,
36:19where did you get this deer?
36:21And he said,
36:22my friend moved to Australia.
36:25And we were like,
36:27that doesn't answer any part of the question.
36:30Unless your friend is an adult deer
36:33who can't take his son to Australia.
36:38We raised that deer.
36:40We raised that deer.
36:41And this is true.
36:41One day I was in my room alone
36:42and the deer walked in
36:43and he had a seizure
36:44and he just died in front of me.
36:48I know, I know.
36:49But then when I moved to America,
36:50my friends would be like,
36:51oh my God, have you ever seen Bambi?
36:52And I'd be like,
36:53I've seen a version of it.
37:02I'm in therapy.
37:03Is anyone in therapy?
37:05Oh, just women.
37:06That's good.
37:09It's really good.
37:13I told my parents that I go to therapy
37:15and my parents were like,
37:15why are you in therapy?
37:17And I was like,
37:17oh,
37:19do you two remember
37:22when I was a kid
37:23and you guys raised me?

37:58and it's like yeah if you want to ruin the vibes at brunch
