00:00Touch gloves and good luck. Touch gloves. Hello. Come here. Touch gloves. Come on, brother.
00:06One of the biggest boxing nights of 2026 so far on NF Pro's second and standout event alongside
00:14Queensbury. And MF Pro's first signing back in June 2024 was this guy, Amir Anderson.
00:23This is an announcement video, had over four and a half million Instagram views.
00:28He's got something about him. Talented, good amateur. Cash man, he calls himself in with Jordan X Dujan.
00:37It's an early US-UK battle to prepare us for later.
00:41Yeah, it's a good gauger, I guess, to see how good Anderson is. From what I've seen in the past,
00:48very, very good.
00:49Quick hands, really good feet. Punches very hard, the rep will suggest that. 100% knockout ratio.
00:55But it's the way he picks the shots. Very intelligent, defensively sound and, yeah, definitely one to watch.
01:01That is a shot, a little combination that he throws really well. The long left hook follow by the right
01:05hand.
01:06He's got very long levers, decent arms, but Dujan trying to get inside. 32 now in fight number 17.
01:15The man from Barnett, who's always, Barry, been an honest pro, hasn't he?
01:20Yeah, I've covered a few of his fights. I mean, he's good. He keeps, he keeps, for the most part,
01:23a tight defense and then tries to attack Ogniewicz or jumps into his attacks.
01:27And can surprise you now and again with that. I think the problem he has with Anderson is, this is
01:32a guy with long levers, but uses it very well.
01:34I mean, when you're tall, most fighters have to move their feet, then punch. When you're tall with long levers,
01:39you move your, you punch, then you move your feet close.
01:41And he does that very, very well. So it's hard to really come to him or get the lead before
01:46he throws his.
01:48That one was low. The second one wasn't no good jab and body work. Quick hands noticeable very early on
01:54from Amir Anderson,
01:56who looks as confident in the ring as he did coming into it.
02:00Yeah, he really does. Puts him together. Lovely, doesn't he? Lots of variation of the shots.
02:07Hurtful power as well, the placement on point.
02:10But Dujon, you see he tucks up nicely, knows out the weather of the storm.
02:13He's switching it up. Anderson, I really like the way he judges the distance, Barry, with the jab, especially from
02:20the orthodox style.
02:22Yeah, I mean, he switches a bit too much. I'm always not a massive fan of it.
02:25I think it puts you sometimes defensively in a bad position.
02:29And I think him as a softball, though he's offensively as good, makes him a little bit lacking defensively.
02:35So you've got to be careful. He doesn't get rushed as a softball.
02:37But when he's in this position, using that jab, as you say, Adam, he's dictating and bossing everything.
02:45I wonder what Dujon's thinking already towards the end of the first round as the jab snaps in again, looking
02:51for the body shot.
02:52It's a very assured start, this, from Anderson, the New Yorker.
02:58Well, Dujon, he's sort of sat on that back foot to try and make Anderson miss with that jab.
03:03But it makes it almost impossible for him to counter off that.
03:05So you've got to try and get that chest over the front knee, if you will.
03:08And try and slip inside the punches or follow the punches back in.
03:12He'll be looking to do this.
03:14With an early storm, pick his moments, don't be greedy.
03:17Try and drag this into later rounds.
03:19This is all right, though.
03:20Yeah.
03:21Nice little finish to the end of the round.
03:22But it's one in the bank for Amir Anderson.
03:51You can't throw a right hand, you can't throw anything.
03:53He's really getting frozen up.
03:56Don't try to do, like, counter punching.
03:58Amir Anderson in the blue corner, just spotted George Groves in the front row at ringside.
04:05Some big names expected, as you would expect, with Derek Chisora's final ever fight, question mark.
04:14I think the crowd will stop, doesn't he?
04:16But with that narrative behind it, and with his opponent, yeah, you can imagine the roof's going to come off
04:20this venue.
04:21He loves the narrative, doesn't he?
04:22Question mark.
04:23Question mark.
04:25We will find out later.
04:2720 hours to go until the big one, live on the global home of boxing, DAZN.
04:33Chisora Wilder almost upon us.
04:36Plenty of action before that, and some good fights.
04:39This one in the middleweight division.
04:41The black trunks of Jordan Dujon.
04:44I think he's relative to Jeffrey Dujon, a great West Indian wicketkeeper, that he was a footballer, who's a good
04:51footballer for QPR, that he chose boxing like many footballers who don't quite make it do.
04:58And he's done well.
05:00He's won 10 of his 16.
05:03The trouble is, Anderson's won all six, and all six by knockout, and Dujon hasn't got one yet.
05:09Nah, he hasn't, and that is a worrying, also another worrying sign is when he's jabbing and he's stepping forward,
05:15that chin comes very high.
05:16He's got to be careful there, because he'll look for that right hand over the top, Anderson.
05:20He's got a composure, so relaxed, isn't he?
05:25When Dujon, at the end of the last round, in the first round, he had a bit of success, but
05:29that was when, like I was suggesting, he got his weight a little bit more over the front knee.
05:33And that just gave him more impetus then, to get a little bit lower, and he rolled, and it gave
05:37him a bit of a gap, a bit of a better vision to attack.
05:42You've got to be brave in this situation, it's easy to say it from here, but you've got to be
05:44brave and not shy away from the jab, almost lean into the shots.
05:48Amir Anderson can't shy away from anything at the press conference, he was very outspoken, promising variety, the performance of
05:56the night, and look at that hand speed, as Dujon's just caught in the neutral corner, and he doesn't really
06:02want to be there at the end of these long, arcing punches.
06:07He worked him into that corner nicely, didn't he? It was just a little bit of pressure with the feet,
06:13stepping inside the side, yeah, he was really patient.
06:14There was a couple of moments there when he was stood in front of Dujon, and I'd like to see
06:18him just faint a little bit.
06:19You see him, he doesn't, there's not much activity when he's stood in front of him, he might pour out
06:22the jab, I know he's looking for the opponent, Dujon, to lead, but I'd like to see him a bit
06:28more proactive with the feints.
06:30Yeah, it's a different fight, isn't it, when Dujon gets a bit of space and gets into the middle of
06:34the ring when he's backed up at the end of the jab and those body shots, it looks pretty painful
06:40for him, but I think, Barry, if you can inch closer, the Brit, and just crowd Anderson a bit.
06:46Yeah, but, I mean, it's going to be hard to get your spots, when you get them, you've got to
06:51let your hands go, and, I mean, there's a risk there, because Anderson can fight well inside also.
06:56What Anderson does well is that straight shot, you'll throw it straight down the line, that right hand, because he's
07:00so long, he'll turn it sometimes over the back of the glove, so you can't see it coming, and there
07:05are the shots that'll start to just mess with your head a little bit.
07:08I think if he was to get Dujon out there, it would be a similar attack to what unravelled Joe
07:14Laws, sort of tapped upstairs and dropped the left to the body, it was a beautiful shot, it was, wasn't
07:19it, right around the elbow of Laws, I think the body shot to do the damage here.
07:24Good right hand air from Anderson.
07:26Yeah, another good session from Amir Anderson, he's enjoying it, and why not?
07:34Well, why not? Best way round London, isn't it? The quickest, from up north to down here at the 0
07:43-2, Derek and family arriving on the London Underground.
07:48That is the northern line as well, 100%.
07:50It is, down from Hampstead, straight down. I mean, Barry, we will miss him when he's gone.
07:57Yeah, listen, a few characters come around, like Derek Chisora, which, I mean, he's been such a salesman for his
08:03own career, erratic, one of the most erratic parts we've had, but also, an advert, but he's never give up.
08:10Throughout his career, the defeats are coming back and having better wins and winning, getting in frustration, but just keep
08:16going, keep going, keep going, keep going.
08:18Never won a world title, but he earned the money of a world champion, and the respect and certainly the
08:23adulation.
08:25Yep, two world title tilts. I wonder if he wins tonight, whether he'll try and force out a third.
08:32Derek Chisora with a huge night ahead of him, arriving by Tube. I wonder how Deontay will get here. Surely
08:39not that way.
08:41Alongside his manager, Shelley Finkel, no doubt, and his tight team.
08:45Why are you planting the seed? Trying to get into fire again, Adam?
08:48Planting no seed, Darren. I'm looking forward to tonight to see what happens. Let's not write off the bronze bomber.
08:55Write him off at your peril, Mr. Parker.
08:56There's a lot of mock-outs on that record.
09:0043 of 44 victories, only one victory knocked by knockout. All six here for Amir Andersen have come inside the
09:09distance,
09:09and he's beginning to land some of these heavy shots, particularly to the body.
09:14He's not letting him off the hook, is he? I mean, he's not busting the gut here, Anderson, to force
09:19the pace.
09:20Oh, that was a pinch of a shot. Dujon really felt that, and now he's trapped in the other neutral
09:26corner,
09:27being pinned back here to Britt, and it's really good from Amir Andersen, who looks flowing, languid, and powerful.
09:36I agree with you, Barry. You know, when you see those fighters that don't bust the gut, they just go
09:40through the gears.
09:41I'll tell you what, it's so, not just physically draining, but mentally draining, isn't it?
09:47Because they're tensed up, and they're waiting, what can I do? What's going to come out? When's he going to
09:50attack?
09:51And they just bully you, and they bully you with the front foot, and that's what Anderson's doing.
09:54He's using that reach to such good advantage, but again, just nice and relaxed with it, so he's not loading
09:59up.
09:59So every shot comes off fast, Darren.
10:01And he's got every shot in his arsenal as well. You see, they're reigning in from all angles.
10:05I like the way he works the body like that, then he'll fire an uppercut through the middle.
10:09Dujon, game as they come, he really is looking, trying to creep forward now, land big shots of his own.
10:14Yeah, he did land one there, Dujon, as he comes in, and I think he's very much in middle ring.
10:20It's just when he's trapped on these ropes, and he can't quite deal with the arsenal that Anderson possesses.
10:27He's only ever been stopped once, Dujon, and that was by Constantine Ursu after eight rounds,
10:32Constantine Ursu, and he's lit up Derby as well, didn't he, recently. He's a real find, Constantine Ursu.
10:39I was there that night against Dujon, and he was fantastic, but Dujon's been really hard-matched,
10:44so fights, even though he's under the cost here, there won't be a massive panic,
10:48because he hasn't been totally dominated like this before, but he's been in fights with the underdog,
10:53and I think these guys are technically better than him, and he finds a way to make it hard.
10:57But as much as he's trying, and his very game coming forward, has he got the strength physically,
11:03and the power in those fists to be able to keep Anderson at bay?
11:06No, you wouldn't have thought so, but he does have experience, and he knows what he has to do.
11:10He's got to try an old man in, ruffle him up, unsettled his own stuff, take him out of his
11:14rhythm.
11:15Very difficult, though, but you need to try and do that by taking the space away from Anderson.
11:19See!
11:21High and low, Dujon, high and low!
11:25Stop boxing!
11:28Enjoy watching Amir Anderson, and enjoying everything that is coming up on the home of global boxing.
11:37This is the global fight.
11:39Liverpool in a fortnight.
11:41Wow, that's come around quickly.
11:43Callum Smith meets David Morrell, who's a really talented fighter.
11:49At the M&S Bank Arena, what a venue for boxing, what a city for sport.
11:54In a final eliminator for the WBO Worldlight heavyweight title.
11:59Ben Whittaker, as well, back on that.
12:01That's the night after Glasgow Barry, when we've got Nathaniel Collins.
12:06What a time ahead.
12:07It's just non-stop, isn't it?
12:09You can't catch breath for the next big fight, the next big occasion.
12:13For that Smith Morrell fight, it's a real danger fight.
12:16For both, I would argue, but I mean, for Smith at this stage of his career, I mean, again, we
12:20said it about Boatze.
12:21If he still has the desire, and he shows more than stuff that he has the desire in that fight,
12:26he's going to have to show it again against Morrell.
12:29But he's technically good at him, Cameron Smith.
12:31At his best, brilliant.
12:33Another really good matchup ahead on this incredible spring period for boxing.
12:40Amir Andersen, who won the 2023 Golden Gloves Championship.
12:44Jordan Dujon, who started with kickboxing.
12:47We've got a boxer and a kickboxer coming up, who are May 23rd in Egypt.
12:54Peter Fury, I was talking to, backstage.
12:56He's training Rico for that.
12:58He said, you never know.
12:59We're massive underdogs, but you never know.
13:02He's got Matty Harris coming out next in the first heavyweight installment of the night.
13:09I mentioned the feint a moment ago.
13:11I'm just looking at Dujon, and he's looking to parry the jab of Andersen.
13:15That's when you can feint.
13:16If you're Andersen, feint the jab, then fire around the left hook.
13:20Then you can follow the right hand through.
13:22That's better.
13:22That's exactly what he needs to do there.
13:24Dujon just got to change up his defense a little bit here, but tucking up well.
13:28And that's good about Andersen.
13:29Again, I go back to saying what I said about you see the total shots here for Andersen,
13:34and certainly the punches thrown as well.
13:36I mean, the good thing about Andersen is he knows how to use his reach to his advantage.
13:41You'll see it there with Dallon.
13:43Pointed out that little hook at the end of the jab, just to be able to change it.
13:46You can't do that if you've got short hands.
13:48You've got those long leave-ins.
13:50And that was good as well.
13:51Nice bit of movement there.
13:52Spam around.
13:52Tried to back him into the corner, Dujon.
13:54He just spanned right back to the center of the ring.
13:57This is where he needs to be.
13:59That's a bit more head movement from Dujon.
14:03He's got a piece of moments, hasn't he?
14:04Can't be greedy.
14:05Can't be reckless.
14:06You will get countered.
14:08But you've got to be busier here.
14:09Yeah, he has to.
14:10He's under the cost here, but I mean, otherwise, you're a sitting duck.
14:13You've got a guy who's technically better than you, better timing, just for the distance.
14:18There's that ball.
14:19There's a little low there, but that's the shot he's got to look for.
14:21He needs to keep it a little higher.
14:23There was one he complained about earlier, wasn't it?
14:25That was low.
14:26Some body shots have been spot on, but he's getting a ticking off.
14:31Referee Rocky Israel, who you know, Barry.
14:33Yeah, it's badly Rocky.
14:35I understand what you're saying.
14:35It was a boxer in this day.
14:37I've done a few runs with Rocky over the years.
14:40No-nonsense referee.
14:41That's why he's not as pretty as he used to be.
14:44He wouldn't touch gloves at the beginning.
14:46He wasn't happy about that.
14:47Well, sure, excuse him, Barry.
14:49Rocky.
14:52He's giving Jordan Dujon plenty of time to recover.
14:57He'll get on with it.
14:59Last minute of the fourth round.
15:02A little bit of damage to the right eye of Dujon.
15:05Probably too bad.
15:07A little bit swelling.
15:08From that jab, Darren?
15:09Perhaps.
15:10And certainly when he arcs it round as a long left hook.
15:14Good hand speed there from Anderson.
15:17He's pretty to watch when he does that.
15:19He needs more of that putting the punches together, changing the tempo.
15:22I think of his punches now.
15:25Because as good as you are, as much as you hit the target,
15:28power can become bearable when it's the same weight all the time.
15:31But he did promise variety.
15:33And he has shown his uppercuts, body shots.
15:36A good jab.
15:37And now...
15:38I like this.
15:39Yeah.
15:40Because that might force Dujon just to overreact a little bit.
15:44And that's exactly what he wants Anderson, doesn't he?
15:47This is good work.
15:48Backing him into the red corner.
15:49Barrage of shots, head and body.
15:51Yeah, more aggressive.
15:52And as Barry was saying, more combinations.
15:54Back comes Dujon.
15:55Tries to have a go as well.
15:57Walks into an uppercut.
15:58He's very brave, the brim.
16:00He felt that.
16:00And he's being outgunned here.
16:02Body shots.
16:03In trouble in his own corner.
16:05Back end of the fourth round.
16:07Banged up around the left eye as well.
16:09But he tries to throw some hooks in.
16:11And that was a torrid last 30 seconds for Jordan Dujon.
16:15Meanwhile, we've mentioned Matty Harris, the big heavyweight.
16:19He's backstage with Olivia.
16:21Now, Matty, a win tonight shows you really mean business on the heavyweight scene.
16:26How essential is this win?
16:28It's everything.
16:28As I said, we've worked hard.
16:30We've gone away.
16:30We've put in the work.
16:31And I'm feeling good, relaxed.
16:34Looking forward to going out there and putting on the show.
16:36Franklin tried to get you to bite in the way in, didn't he?
16:39He was really goading you.
16:40Has it rattled you at all?
16:41Or has it just made your focus even stronger?
16:43Do I look rattled to you?
16:44Not at all.
16:44Not at all.
16:45No.
16:46As I said, we're just chilling.
16:48As I said, I've got nothing else to say at this point.
16:51We're going in now.
16:51We're looking to do a good job.
16:53A big shout out to The Zone for having us on and giving us the platform to do it.
16:57And yeah, we'll see you all on the other side.
16:59Second.
16:59Second.
17:01Max Olivia.
17:02Matty's such a cool, calm character.
17:04I was in the dressing room chatting with the team earlier.
17:07He's been sparring with Huey Fury.
17:09And they really believe in him.
17:11Darren, he had that blip, but he's got quality.
17:14Yeah, he has.
17:16Matured an awful lot.
17:17Well scored.
17:18But Barry, a good fight against Franklin Ignatius.
17:21And he said that he's done a bit more as a pro.
17:23Well, he had, I mean, Matty might be the favourite here.
17:26He's the one they're probably pushing.
17:27But Ignatius has had the better win, obviously.
17:30And he's lost to the better fighter, obviously, as well.
17:33So, I mean, with Jamie TKV.
17:35But I was there the night when he got stopped.
17:39Matty Harris.
17:40And he just ran out of steam very, very quickly.
17:42Within half a round, his energy just went.
17:44But he's had four or five wins since then.
17:47He's under the cosh here.
17:48Really, really good work from Anderson.
17:51Yeah.
17:51It's increased it ever so slightly.
17:54Body shots as well.
17:56Jam to the body.
17:57He tried it.
17:58When he's backed up, he's got that space.
18:03He struggles here, Dujon.
18:04And Corner really trying to buoy him up alongside us.
18:08And he's going back, isn't he?
18:11Very gay.
18:12But ironically, what he has to do to win the fight
18:15is put him in more peril, which is ironic in itself.
18:19And I think Anderson will want him to be more aggressive
18:21because gaps will appear.
18:23He's 10 years older as well, Dujon.
18:25He's not been in the best form of late.
18:29He shows that experience, doesn't he, Barry?
18:31You know, he takes his moments, Dujon.
18:33He doesn't get reckless because he knows if he does open up,
18:36that's exactly what you said.
18:37Could be curtains.
18:38But you see, could he be matched hard.
18:40So if you have these guys who are being pushed to be stars
18:43and he's had to, again, be tight in the fence
18:47and try and sneak the attacks into play.
18:49That's a really unorthodox thing that Dujon does every now and again.
18:52He'll lead with an uppercut, sort of jumps in,
18:54but it's not like a screw shot.
18:55He sort of pulls it down and jumps straight in.
18:59He's had a bit of success for that.
19:01And he started boxing really late in his 20s as well.
19:06Off his job in property management, studying for a master's.
19:09It's a tough business when you've got all that going on.
19:12And this in front of you, with Anderson teeing off.
19:16Not everything getting through, partially blocked by the gloves,
19:18but you can feel the force of the Americans work from ringside.
19:22I think he's half a step too close there, Anderson.
19:25I mean, that right hand, they're good shots with the right hand,
19:27but I think he needs to be a little bit further away
19:28so he can really fully rotate.
19:30I think he could have dropped to the body as well with the left.
19:33He's in a good position there.
19:35They looked heavy, didn't they?
19:36Yeah, they hit.
19:37But I think half and half a step back
19:39and he's right on the end of the shot.
19:41You get that chill, that talk on the shot.
19:43Yeah, with the left of the body afterwards.
19:45He's got the spite as well,
19:47especially when he feels his man's backed up.
19:50Anderson, he'll be desperate for a seventh straight knockout victory.
19:55He won over Joe Laws recently,
19:57but also getting around him,
19:59which I think his team and promoters will be happy with as well.
20:05Body shot there from Dujon.
20:07I can't even know, again, he jumps into an attack, doesn't he?
20:09He just keeps Anderson honest.
20:12We've heard from Matty.
20:13Let's hear from his opponent, Franklin, with Olivia.
20:19Franklin, you're very confident,
20:21but you were trying to make Matty bite in the press conference
20:24and weigh in, weren't you?
20:25Why are you so confident?
20:26The honest truth is because I'm prepared.
20:28I've done the hard work.
20:30This is the second camp now I was getting ready for him,
20:32but I know the work I've put in, do you know what I mean?
20:35Like, I'm so ready that I even had to hold off towards the end
20:38to make sure I keep the energy where it matters.
20:39So, nah, man, I'm just ready to go.
20:41How are you going to get it done tonight, Franco?
20:43I think we'll be stopping during the first six rounds.
20:46Honestly, how long it lasts, it depends on how tough he is.
20:49I can't predict that, do you know what I mean?
20:50I'm going to go hard every round.
20:53He's very, very confident.
20:55It's a good match at heavyweight,
20:58and it's coming up next.
21:01When this one is in the history books.
21:06He's been tough, hasn't he?
21:08This man from Barnett.
21:10It's in the water up there.
21:12Exactly, mate.
21:13It really is.
21:14Thank you for the foldy, but now you back there.
21:17Come out south, boy, here.
21:18Is Dujan the best middleweight from Barnett?
21:23He looks a weight above him, though, doesn't he, Anderson?
21:29These two still going on for the world champions.
21:32Sparring.
21:33These two are fighting for real.
21:35It looks menacing, doesn't he?
21:36Anderson starts the rounds really well.
21:38Puts Dujan under the cosh.
21:40This is good.
21:41Variation, lovely.
21:42That haircut was real class, wasn't it?
21:48Body shot there from Anderson.
21:50Still blocking a lot, Dujan.
21:52He's clever.
21:53He knows his way round.
21:54He fights back sporadically, but it's been one-sided.
22:00I'm with Darren Argan.
22:01Lovely shot.
22:03Really nice.
22:05Picks them neatly, and then Dujan has a flurry.
22:09So brave.
22:10But I was going to say, I agree with Darren as well.
22:11I think he does need to, when he throws a big right hand, just whip that body left, right across
22:16the body, isn't it?
22:17Rather than left on an angle, just right across.
22:19He puts himself in such a great position to be able to do that.
22:22He's just in the southpaw stance now, but the same could apply from the southpaw stance.
22:27Once you've thrown that left, drops down and throw the right to the body.
22:30Great time to be a middleweight.
22:32A long time after your career, Darren.
22:34But of course, George Lennard, Jimmy Sainz, plenty from Essex.
22:38Samir Anderson could be a really interesting talent in the mix.
22:42Yeah, I think certainly domestically is simmering along nicely.
22:46The world stage again, like the heavyweights looking for their next star.
22:50So it's an exciting time.
22:52Yeah, because that middleweight, you know, I mean, it's up for grabs now, isn't it?
22:55Who's the best middleweight in the world?
22:57I think it's a little bit of a transitional period.
22:59Dental Bentley later.
23:00Yeah, of course, Eddie gets in the title, which should be the real title, let's be honest.
23:05That's a great fight.
23:06That really is.
23:07It's a really good fight.
23:09Don't miss that one.
23:10Bentley against Sabreda from Venezuela, who's very aggressive and exciting.
23:16So that should be a cracker.
23:19Fidel Reilly, Mastenek as well.
23:22That's a good card put together by MF Pro and Queensbury.
23:28Again, Dujon, he just manages to find his way, you know, out of the troubled start.
23:37This is a game, he's finishing the round really well, isn't he?
23:41Anderson nonstop, he's not taking his foot off the gas here.
23:44I have a step back again and you see, he needs more leverage on the shots.
23:47That's the uppercut again, the clubbing right hands, the body shots.
23:51He still fires back.
23:53I wonder what the corner's thinking.
23:54He's not winning a round, Dujon.
23:58That left thigh is looking worse now, isn't it?
24:00Swelling underneath.
24:01Yes, it is.
24:02He's just getting beaten up now really, Dujon.
24:05He comes back with a combination showing will and heart and determination, but he just doesn't
24:15have it.
24:18Anything really to trouble Anderson.
24:22Bumble's apart though.
24:24Chris Burton's in the corner.
24:26Really good amateur he was.
24:28And we've heard about him for a while, Barry.
24:30He's only 22.
24:32There's a good future.
24:34Now this is a good test for him because he's up against a guy.
24:36He's very, very durable here.
24:38And I will keep you honest, but I think Amazon's controlling the pace.
24:41And then he's done his hands go as well.
24:43And he's put a lot of weight into these shots, but his engine's good.
24:46So he knows when he gets a little bit tired as well, he takes a little step back.
24:50He gets a little bit of a rest and it goes again.
24:52So he's making sure he's dominant winning the rounds, but he's pacing it really, really
24:56well.
24:57The only thing he needs to do for me is just change the tempo, maybe get a different angle
25:01on the attack and half a step back to get the full power into the shots.
25:05And he might force that stoppage, but he's boxing really well here.
25:09This is four scheduled eight rounder.
25:12This is the longest he's gone in a professional ring.
25:16He was named Golden Boy in the amateurs.
25:20Almost went to the Olympic qualifiers, but decided to turn pro instead.
25:25It's been a common theme recently, hasn't it?
25:27Well, certainly on these shores, we had Moses Atalmar, will he get rounds?
25:32How valuable would those rounds be?
25:34Pat Brown last night, will he get rounds?
25:35How valuable would a round be?
25:37And it's the same for Anderson here.
25:38But also there's a clutch of 19, 20, 21, 22-year-olds who are almost not giving up the amateur
25:46pedigree.
25:47As Dujon comes in with a shot and the action opens up.
25:50But they want to turn pro, they want to make money, they want to get onto this stage while it's
25:54hot.
25:55I think everybody, when you start out, you dream of fighting for world titles on big cards, big shows.
26:03And we're seeing that they're happening, aren't they?
26:06The heroes are world champions.
26:08They're not really big champions.
26:09That's the truth of it.
26:11Unless you're Cuban.
26:12Who thought it was going to be Sugar Ray Leonard?
26:13It never quite happened.
26:15Not quite.
26:16Not all in here.
26:21Again, just managing the distance really well.
26:23As Barry said, maybe getting a bit close when he's attacking, but generally keeps himself in a safe zone, Anderson.
26:30Oh, that's a lovely left uppercut.
26:33Beautiful.
26:34He's shown us some with the right, he's shown us with the left.
26:38Multi-faceted.
26:40I'll tell you something here from Anderson.
26:41He doesn't care about what's coming back from Dujon either.
26:44Lovely body shot there.
26:46Back comes Dujon, but yep, you're right, he's not troubling him.
26:49And he feels he could just march him down.
26:51A minute 20 of the 7th.
26:53Can he somehow get the late stoppage?
26:56Pat Brown found it last night.
27:00It's going to be the angle, isn't it, I guess, Tim?
27:02He's shown the toughiest, Dujon.
27:04You just take a little half a step, a little pivot to the other side.
27:08Just throw from an angle you can't see here, Dujon.
27:10Because he has that very sort of tight defence with his gloves around, those gloves around the side of the
27:15head.
27:15You get to an angle, he's not going to see, he's going to be blind to the shot.
27:18And I think that's really exciting if you're Anderson and the team.
27:21Because there's so much good stuff that he does, but there's still so much he can add to his game.
27:27That left hook, a couple of times, Dujon's managed to half-clip Anderson.
27:33So what is it, timing up that defence, the head movement, what does he need to work on?
27:37There's so much to like.
27:38Yeah, I think a bit more variation with the footwork, as Barry says, side to side, don't smother you work.
27:43I think a few more feints try and open up the opponent's defence that way.
27:49But also, we're picking here, isn't it?
27:51That's the truth of it.
27:52Because he's boxing really well.
27:54He's landed with enough shots that previous opponents haven't been able to take.
27:57That's the truth of it.
27:59And if he thought, and he showed a little glimpse of it, if he thought he'd really heard Dujon,
28:03he lets his hands go and he has them on the pass.
28:06So, we're boxing well.
28:07Young and early in his career.
28:09Good finish, Barry, to this round as well.
28:11Uppercuts, nice jab, wincing in pain.
28:15Dujon, utterly frustrated as he goes back to his red corner.
28:19He's earning his money tonight.
28:21The North Londoner, but Amir Anderson is earning the praise.
28:28Looking good.
28:30And the cult hero of British boxing, dressed as ever, is off the underground.
28:38Look at Tony Bellew behind him.
28:40His great mate, Chisora, back in an arena he normally loves.
28:47But he did get knocked out by Dillian White late on here.
28:51So, there is jeopardy in the air.
28:55The family with him tonight for what he says is the last hurrah.
29:00They're down from Hampstead.
29:02They're here in Greenwich.
29:05What on earth happens in a few hours' time.
29:08I don't think even Derek knows.
29:11I'm really, really looking forward to the main event.
29:15The atmosphere in here is going to be incredible.
29:16The first bell.
29:17You imagine the energy just before.
29:19So many questions that I'm looking forward to being answered.
29:22It's what we love this business for.
29:25Not just what happens in the ring, but all the entertainment, the extravagance, and the storytelling outside as well.
29:32And the story here, when he came into the ring in a flash way, didn't he, Amir Andersen?
29:37He took his time.
29:38And he's taken his time tonight getting rounds in against the very brave but outgunned and outclassed Jordan Dujon,
29:46who's managed to hang around and fight back at times.
29:49And it's been an almighty effort.
29:51But he's lost every round, doesn't he?
29:54He has.
29:54As I tell you something, though, we say it all the time.
29:57These rounds will be invaluable for Anderson, and his team will be quite happy.
30:01He won't be happy if he goes the distance because he want to keep that 100% knockout ratio.
30:05But if he gets to stop it in this round, that's a real result here from a real stern opponent
30:11in Dujon.
30:11But he's boxed really well.
30:13He has.
30:14And Barry, not even the biggest puncher in the modern generation, has got a 100% knockout ratio in Deontay
30:21Wada.
30:21You are going to have to go the distance on occasions.
30:24He showed a great chin there.
30:26Sorry, Barry Dujon.
30:27That's another beautiful left uppercut from Anderson.
30:30You can see he's desperate for that stoppage really going for it in this final round.
30:38You're kind of willing, Dujon, to hear the final foul here, aren't you?
30:41You have.
30:41I mean, I like the control of Anderson.
30:43I mean, he can probably do a little bit more, maybe, if you're going to really be picky.
30:47But he's controlled it, and he's making sure that he hasn't bust the gut.
30:51You've seen that in the past.
30:52They all of a sudden, they tie it out because they try too hard.
30:54And his concentration's been good.
30:57He's dominated the space all the time.
30:59His balance is fantastic, and he throws the right shots.
31:02Dujon's just tough.
31:03Barry, agree with you about the balance and the concentration.
31:06I think he's navigated these eight rounds really well.
31:10It's valuable education.
31:12And if he can come out unscathed, not cut, he can be back out in a few weeks.
31:16And that's the goal, right?
31:17You want to be busy.
31:18Activity keeps in every young fighter's career.
31:22That's where you learn everything under these bright lights, that little bit of pressure.
31:26But this is good work again.
31:29Again, you'll see a bit of movement side to side, but he's really brilliant.
31:32He's got the gas and he's got a stoppage.
31:34Stoppage, and it means the world to him.
31:37It's seven of the spin.
31:38All inside the distance, and Jordan Dujon's brave effort comes to an end.
31:47I thought Amir Anderson was a joy to watch tonight and to finish like that as well.
31:52This guy's a talent.
31:54He's 22, unbeaten, an American with personality, oozing charisma.
32:01And he's going to be a problem for people, I think.
32:05He's shown us a huge amount of variety.
32:09Laurence Acoli is back, but he's got to go to Paris against their favourite, Tony Yoker.
32:16It's a wonderful heavyweight battle.
32:19It's on the Eurostar for us, Saturday, April the 25th, in the romantic city that is Paris.
32:26A battle royale.
32:28Yoker and Acoli can't wait for that.
32:31Amir Anderson-Barry impressed.
32:33I thought it was really impressive.
32:35And to get the stoppage at the end, and he got the stoppage by saying what we were talking about.
32:40He just, the speed of the world, he changed the tempo of the punches.
32:44Once he thought he had him hurt, then he covered, I think it was the right hand.
32:48There you go, there.
32:49And now he, then he accelerates and doesn't stop throwing.
32:52Good referee in there by Rocky.
32:53I think to get it stepped in at the right time.
32:55Because we all wanted to see Dujon get the distance, go the distance.
32:58But all the punishment he's taken throughout the fight, that last little bit, Anderson was fantastic tonight.
33:04The perfect scenario, wasn't it really?
33:07Premier Anderson there to get the round, to get the distance.
33:10You can see what it means to him as well.
33:11He's thrilled.
33:11He'll move on and hopefully he can be busy, Adam.
33:14We all wanted Dujon to go the distance apart from this man.
33:17That reaction when he got the referee, waving it off.
33:23100% knockout ratio, undefeated.
33:26Let's make it official.
33:29Ladies and gentlemen, the end comes at 2 minutes 19 seconds of round 8.
33:34A referee in charge puts a stop to this contest for your winner by technical knockout.
33:39And still undefeated, Amir Cashman Anderson.
33:51Yeah, that's our first fight done.
33:53It's in the books as the countdown to our main event continues.
33:56Derek Chisora and Dion Tawada might be in the twilight of their careers.
34:00But it's not time to ride off into the sunset just yet.
