00:00rules keep it clean nothing low watch your heads and when i say break take step back
00:04most importantly defend yourself at all times best of luck lads
00:07an excellent crucial clash for this interim wbo belt in the famous always competitive 11 stone 6
00:15middleweight division former world champion sitting to my left alongside barry jones
00:22world champion at another weight can england's denzel bentley move on and upwards he's in with
00:31his vicious venezuelan partly based in mexico andre sevedra great addition guys to this mega card
00:40isn't it yeah it's a really good fight stylish city you fill it with gel sevedra as i say lots
00:46to get
00:46in your face that's a rough you up works the body really well but denzel bentley when he's in full
00:50flow when he gets him into a nice rhythm and lets the shots go it's a joy to watch he
00:56really is lovely
00:57jab so expect this one to catch fire combination early from denzel bentley in the olive trunks with
01:08those beige boots and the all blue attire really for el chino marcus maidana's nickname what a fighter
01:18he was and sevedra and what we've seen barry is going to be all action aggressive is going to take
01:25the fight to bentley yeah he's not afraid to come forward he's not afraid to take a shot you know
01:29he
01:29can get off the floor and come back and it'll make it really difficult for you so bentley you know
01:34i don't
01:35mind the patience so much but putting himself in the corner here he's going to try and stay in that
01:38center
01:38that ring rocking sevedra the impetus to come forward with the combination you want to try and keep him
01:43on the end of the jab reset it all the time and then when he does jump forward bentley for
01:49me his best
01:49shot is that right uppercut through the middle he's sort of the half uppercut screw shot but he
01:53generates so much power from it that's the punch that's going to kind of catch you and that's the
01:57punch that's going to cause all the damage carl was flagging earlier that he's been out a long time
02:03denzel bentley and has he been in the gym and sparring i caught up with lee eaton who's
02:08over there ringside denzel's manager he said he's had so much sparring with the likes of brad falls
02:14and the failed twins and he's in tip-top shape he's a gym rat so trying to get the early
02:20combinations off
02:21and as for sevedra this is a real opportunity and he doesn't mind the air miles he's proven that he
02:30can
02:30travel and can win and this top team around him as well he hasn't just turned up with one trainer
02:37no he hasn't and look i know bentley's been out for a while but sevedra has almost a year to
02:42the
02:42day since he last fought so it might take a little while for both of these to find their time
02:46in a
02:46distance they get in a rhythm behind the jab everything will follow yeah but what's happened with
02:52gianna beck it's all been a bit topsy-turvy this eleven stone six division a lot off the
02:58grabs here barry it is this year this should be for the vacant title that's the truth but not the
03:02interim title because you shouldn't suspend and be able to keep your title but it is what it is that's
03:07where they're at so it takes them one step closer because ben's in his last world title challenge did
03:12tremendously well against the four mentioned ala canuli so you know he's shown he can compete at world level
03:18but this is a dangerous fight this is number one number two in the wbo rankings good jabs from
03:23bentley early on here and a decent defense lively the venezuelan at the end of the round but
03:56this is
03:59oh
03:59yeah
04:00yeah
04:01yeah
04:17One more, Martin Bowers, a few wiser around these parts, great trainer from the famous
04:26peacock Denzel Bentley from Battersea, 31 now, fight number 26 in his long career, he's had three
04:34defeats but he's got back on the horse and he keeps on coming and he's had some real
04:39form despite the inactivity, so starting a favourite, Denzel in that found zone against
04:46Andre Saavedra and beginning to flow, I thought it settled well in that opener.
04:51Yeah the jab was good for Bentley in that first round and again
04:54starting off in this second round, Dallin sort of mentioned in the first round, when he throws out one-two,
04:59the rhythm was really good for Bentley, he's got a natural smoothness of all his punches and I think that's
05:03where the power is generating that.
05:05Yeah because he doesn't load up does he but carries a real pop in both hands, the right hand is
05:10a real peach as you said, the uppercut in that right hand over the top, but he's got to stay
05:14switched on here, I think discipline is going to be key, the jab worked nicely didn't it in that opening
05:18round, Saavedra needs to move his head, get close and work away at the body.
05:22Yup, Saavedra trying to close the gap and Bentley will want to keep it at range, this is the round
05:28where he dispatched Derek Azazi, that was a really good win in the summer of 2024, we saw Azazi the
05:35other week do really well in fact, Linda Mitchell for the European heavyweight title challenger, ticked me off the other
05:41day at the presser and said Azazi won that fight, didn't get it.
05:45Tell you what, tough as old boot so yeah, it really shows how well that victory has aged for Bentley,
05:51just takes a right hand there from Saavedra, you know he's out of the box, you know he's a Rio
05:55Olympian, you can see he's got a nice base, doesn't give much away does he Saavedra?
06:12Good from Saavedra there, when he closes in on Bentley, who's going to have to be very very switched on
06:21through these 12 rounds.
06:25The good thing, although he's going to be under pressure from Saavedra, he's not going to have to go looking
06:29for him, when you carry the power that Bentley has, there's always a chance you see it with Matty Harris
06:33didn't we, the momentum of your opponent just generate more power for you.
06:36That was a sweet knockout wasn't it from Matty Harris, doubling the impact as Ignatius came towards him, this is
06:44good work from Saavedra, not everything getting through but it's this constant pressure that Bentley's going to have to deal
06:51with.
06:52Much better when Saavedra tips those legs.
06:57Honestly they both look very dangerous when they exchange there.
07:01Yup when they swap, it's on a knife edge already in the second round.
07:06Busier here isn't he Saavedra for me, some good work, there's just too much gaps in between the puck and
07:13the work here for Bentley.
07:14Yup the smoothness of that first round just has gone from Bentley's legs and this is better from the Venezuelan.
07:23I mentioned that he can be vicious and so many knockouts on the record, his power has got to be
07:29respected and that's a good round for the man called El Chino.
07:40The bronze bomber is at the 0-2.
07:50Threatening, possessing, what he says is God given power, can he still detonate it and if he can, oh my,
08:00he promises an explosion in the 0-2 later.
08:04Well it's just, has he still got it, if he has and we all hope he has, we're in for
08:09a real treat, we really are.
08:11Do you think Derek hopes he has? Pardon?
08:13Do you think Derek hopes he has? Everyone other than Derek hopes he has.
08:17But this magical punch, no doubt about it, he's just got to believe once again that he can still do
08:22it.
08:23He's told me time and time again in the build-up that he's never been in a better space, mentally,
08:29spiritually and physically.
08:32But, it's been a long career, it's been a long career for the both of them.
08:37And that's what makes this fascinating main event so unpredictable.
08:41This is unpredictable, a round of piece I think Barry.
08:43Yeah, it's good pressure and a good, good educated pressure here from Saavedra.
08:49Staying nice and low when he attacks, which is good.
08:51He did it to the left quite often as well, which is, takes his head off the line.
08:55And that's the jab for Bentley but he needs more of it, I think he needs a step behind it,
08:58Darren.
08:59Yeah, do you know what I like, Saavedra, when he approaches Bentley, he doesn't waste the opportunity, he lets his
09:05hands go.
09:06And if you see the scorecard there from Cole Frampton, two up, one apiece there on the fan zone.
09:13Saavedra certainly finding his feet and his rhythm and he's disrupting Denzel Bentley's work.
09:20And what you don't want to do is get involved in what's happened there.
09:23Too much physical contact for Bentley because Saavedra would prefer that.
09:28The South Americans are used to being in a more physical battle, they like the fight that being close.
09:33So you've got to keep it long.
09:34But you've got to be pushing him back with that jab, it's so important for Bentley.
09:38Light on his feet, Bentley.
09:40But the jab not flowing like it was in the opener and it's this rough and tough attitude from Saavedra,
09:50who's been around a long time as he's a very good amateur Olympian.
09:55And a tough night's work, he really is.
09:58He just fights to his strength, doesn't he, Saavedra?
10:01You know, he's got nice base, creeps forward, keeps the head moving, that's lovely.
10:05Just slipping inside the jab of Bentley and throwing the left to the body, just missing the left hook upstairs
10:10though.
10:10He has that natural lean to the left, doesn't he, that gives him that chance to throw that left hook.
10:14I like Saavedra when he does get to the left, to throw that right hand over the top.
10:18Good run from Bentley, opens up.
10:20Action really increasing, warming nicely in the third round of this middleweight clash.
10:26Elite level, Denzil Bentley up now, the former British champion.
10:31Can he deal with this pressure of Andre Saavedra?
10:36Pretty too long Bentley, he just took a right hand there, but he should have really thrown one of his
10:40own.
10:41And with that, that movement you mentioned there, that lean to the left from Saavedra,
10:46that does play into Bentley's hands if he can get that right uppercut we've spoken about,
10:51because he's literally leaning into the shot, isn't he?
10:55Jabs from Bentley.
10:59They're good, but then the culmination's from Saavedra.
11:04He's intimidating, isn't he?
11:07He's facing his little steps at the time, that's all.
11:11Menacing again, nice and low, the little roll of the shoulders.
11:14It's nothing exotic about his work, I mean, it's just...
11:17You know what he's gonna be, so he's coming right at you.
11:19There's a little subtleness with the shoulders now and again, a little dip to the left.
11:23But Bentley's allowing him to get too close.
11:40The action just keeps on coming, a couple of weeks' time.
11:45It's a Friday night, April the 17th, the score to settle in Glasgow.
11:49Nathaniel Collins, real talent, in with Cristobal Llorente.
11:54It was good first time around, I think it was the sixth round, was one of the rounds of the
11:58year.
11:59I was at the press conference, ahead of their rematch, and they're both up for it.
12:04Should be a great night in Glasgow.
12:07That was better, nice stiff jab.
12:10He committed to the shot there, Denzil Bentley, and that's what he's got to do.
12:14The one-two there, beautiful, it's a joy to watch.
12:16Want to see a bit more commitment from the Londoner.
12:19Ten seconds.
12:20Sevedra's got to keep doing what he's doing, remain busy.
12:25Seconds out, round four.
12:29Here's the fourth WBO interim middleweight title.
12:33160 pound, 11 stone, six brigade.
12:38The olive trunks with the black tassels of Denzil Bentley.
12:42Really lovely guy outside the ring, good talker.
12:45Very popular within the trade in Britain.
12:48Can he close the gap into world class?
12:52He had a challenge before which didn't go his way, lost three times.
12:57He's under the cosh here against his Andre Sevedra in fight number 20.
13:01It's like no respect, he doesn't care, does he?
13:05He just puts his gloves up, lets his hands go, and there's quality too, Barry.
13:09Yeah, but you've got to stop him before he gets into the range where he can throw.
13:12There, that's it.
13:14And then you can take the step back, but when you take that step back,
13:16you've got to throw again and then shift your feet to the left or the right.
13:20Otherwise, he's just going to continuously block and walk you down, Dad.
13:23Yeah, you will.
13:24Already we've seen the timing starting to come back to Denzil Bentley.
13:29When you've been out of the ring for solo, I always feel when you've got a style like Sevedra,
13:34it's a bit easier to get into the fight,
13:35because you instantly try and grab the fight by the scruff of the neck.
13:38When you're not a smooth boxer, you let shots go quickly and you rely on your accuracy.
13:44It takes a little bit more time.
13:46The body shot from Sevedra, just trying to disrupt the Bentley rhythm,
13:50which at his best can be a joy to watch with his jabs and footwork.
13:55Doesn't need to be there at all.
13:57You feel the ropes move back to the centre of the ring.
14:00That will play into Sevedra's hand.
14:02And the physical strength as well as Sevedra.
14:04You can see those big shoulders and he's fit, isn't he?
14:09Very physically strong.
14:10It looks a little bit like Bentley can't get his breathing right.
14:14What just disrupting that?
14:16Well, I mean, sometimes it's the way you unbox for a while.
14:19It's how you just get the, you know, you regulate your breathing properly.
14:22Like, you're under a lot of pressure.
14:23It's not immense pressure.
14:25You're just not used to it because you haven't boxed for such a long time.
14:27But he looks...
14:28He's looking more breathy than I would like if that's a saying.
14:32Has unboxed since Brad Paul's December of 2024.
14:36That was a good win.
14:37And we know what Brad Paul's did the other night with Shaquille Thompson.
14:40Nice right hand from Bentley.
14:42Eye-catching shots and good job at times.
14:45But hustle and bustle from Sevedra.
14:48Yeah, look, the movement there from Bentley was better.
14:50He tried to get back to the centre of the ring.
14:52Stop getting pushed back as much.
14:54And he's got to work round that, you know, imaginary ring in the middle of the ring.
14:58Don't get pushed back to the ropes.
15:00I think what Darren says is important there.
15:01He's right that when you've got the centre of the ring,
15:03more confidence to let your hands go.
15:05You don't feel like you're under so much pressure.
15:08A strain low.
15:10A strain low.
15:12Don't do it. Stop shielding and keep them up, OK? Stay there.
15:15Referee Darren Sargentson just having a word.
15:18It was accidental, but it never becomes OK.
15:21So I told him, OK, don't make him heal a bit, all right?
15:24He's breathing slightly heavier with the mouth and nose.
15:30Just a bit bloodied, Denzil Bentley.
15:34Just dabs away at it as well.
15:37Sevedra just sort of walks full with that high guard.
15:41Chips away, especially to the body.
15:43That gains strength slightly though, he's got to be careful.
15:47He just gives the impression he's always looking to work, isn't he?
15:50Good shot for Medley though. Perfect.
15:53And he fell there. Legs of jelly there, wobbly,
15:57as he goes back to the red corner.
16:00He has to suck it up here.
16:02Carlos Sevedra.
16:04That was a cracking shot for Bentley.
16:07I think he knew.
16:08The way he skipped back to the corner there, Bentley,
16:11I think he knew he hurt for that right hook.
16:13A lovely shot, wasn't it?
16:14Eric Timor could find it, wasn't he?
16:16In the corner, Martin Bowers leading it there for Denzil.
16:21And he'll be buoyed by that shot.
16:28That was a lovely shot right hand.
16:30But again though, he throws the hook, turns his body,
16:33and has to turn his body back into shape there.
16:35Bentley and then lands with a nice short right hand there in close,
16:38where Sevedra felt comfortable there.
16:40He looks like he's going to lean a bit forward there,
16:42and a balance out of balance there, Sevedra hurt.
16:44But I think he'll be covered on his way back to the corner.
16:47Sevedra's up, round five.
16:51Good amateur World Series of boxing.
16:55Grop in Venezuela, moved to Mexico.
17:00And he's made a really good career for himself as Andre Sevedra.
17:04He was hurt though, end of the fourth round.
17:07Bensley, Denzil Bentley has got power.
17:0917 knockouts in those 21 wins for Bentley.
17:13So he knows he can trouble him.
17:18But he's letting Sevedra take the pace still.
17:21I think something important for him, especially with the breathing thing I was talking about,
17:25that he takes control of the pace.
17:27I think the rounds have been close.
17:29Yeah, but I think Sevedra's doing, though, he's initiating the attacks.
17:33I think he's a little bit busier, so I think he's ahead for me.
17:36Yeah, I think he's been busier, hasn't he?
17:38Certainly out of the two.
17:40That'll probably get the nod for the judges' scorecards.
17:44But...
17:44Level on Karls, unofficial guard.
17:47As Sevedra comes in with another attack.
17:49And Bentley back on his feet.
17:51And the fans only got Bentley a couple ahead.
17:53So...
17:54Different opinions at ringside.
17:57The three judges.
17:59Should it go the 12?
18:01I think the cleaner more eye-catching shots have come from Bentley, for sure.
18:06Certainly that right hook in the last round.
18:07But it's just this constant work.
18:09A lot taken on the club, but still...
18:12See referees saying, don't make it me a little bit in the last round, didn't we?
18:15Yep, the referee saying that wasn't low, but Denzil Bentley just irritated with it.
18:21Yeah, his shots when he gets them off are good, Bentley.
18:24The pressure of Sevedra.
18:26This is a good stylistic match.
18:29Find that hole for that right-hand on the top as well, Sevedra.
18:32Again the right-hand from Bentley looking for the uppercut as well,
18:35but just trying to smother him.
18:37Sevedra, rather like Derek Chisora might have to do with Deontay Wilder,
18:42giving him no space when he gets on top of Bentley.
18:45See, as long as Bentley hits him when he's coming in with a clean shot,
18:49then Ian McGaith, the other bits of more scrappier work of Sevedra,
18:52if he doesn't and lies in close, then you're gonna go for the busier fighter.
18:56See, it's just this movement here again.
18:58Get back to the centre and ring up.
19:00It's a little bit lazy with that movement.
19:02Again here, right back to the centre.
19:03That's better, that's where he needs to be.
19:05Don't invite too much pressure from Sevedra.
19:08That again just plays into his hands.
19:13He does.
19:14Won his first 13 and he won defeat on the record in Mexico City on points.
19:19Has been floored before but not stopped.
19:22He's a tough man and he's good enough to have gone to the Olympics.
19:28So Denzil Bentley, I think, always knew he was gonna have a long, hard night in front of him.
19:33And it's how he tactically boxes his way through because he's got plenty of skills, Denzil.
19:41Smart there as well though, just sort of nullifying the work of Sevedra.
19:44Just grabbing hold.
19:46Stopping that work.
19:47Just a bit more commitment behind the jab.
19:49He said it a couple of rounds ago.
19:51He's neglecting the shot in my opinion.
19:52Good quantity there and a bit of quality from Sevedra right at the end.
19:58Might have caught the eye of the judges.
19:59The judges.
20:00Meanwhile, backstage.
20:02The tape.
20:04The final build-up.
20:09Both camps ready.
20:14War on pain.
20:18And the strength he believes from God, Deontay Wilder.
20:23And that's that right hand that has laid out so many opponents.
20:2943 of his 44 victories by knockout.
20:33But both the hands of Derek Chisora have provided knockouts.
20:39I think it's 66 knockouts between them.
20:4280 victories.
20:44What careers.
20:45I'll tell you what, heavyweight carnage, isn't it?
20:47It's utter madness.
20:49So what happens?
20:50Fireworks.
20:51Barry Jones.
20:52I mean, in the most unpredictable division, you can never really be sure of that.
20:59I mean, it's certainly what Deontay Wilder turns out.
21:01I mean, that's, I mean, that dictates the fight for me.
21:04What one turns out.
21:05The one we've seen recently, Chisora walks through him.
21:08If he wind back the years, Chisora's in for the hard night.
21:12Barry, which Denzel Bentley, which Andre Saavedra has turned up better tonight so far for you?
21:17I think Saavedra, for me, has been the far busier.
21:20But this is better.
21:20This is what that has been saying.
21:22Sent to the ring and punched from there.
21:24He really started this round well.
21:26The sixth round, Denzel Bentley.
21:28More disciplined with his position in the ring.
21:31Sharper with the shots.
21:33More commitment.
21:35More energy to his work.
21:36I wonder if he's just got used to the taste now.
21:38And he'll do it out for so long.
21:39And if that's the case, he'll punch a bit sharper.
21:42It does take time, doesn't it, Barry?
21:45That ring wrestling is a real thing for Son and not for others.
21:48And how different for the rounds and rounds of sparring to do it with the smaller gloves under the lights
21:53when the pressure's on.
21:55Pressure is the biggest factor in anything.
21:57In sports, but certainly in boxing, it's the biggest factor.
22:00You might be a beautiful boxer who just can't do it when the pressure, no, is intense.
22:06The footwork is very good of Saavedra as well.
22:09He's forcing Bentley.
22:11Although I'll say Bentley should get back to the centre ring.
22:13Look at the footwork.
22:14Just cuts across.
22:15Always trying to cut the ring off, Saavedra.
22:17But you've got to double jab him and push him back and then you move off at an angle.
22:22I think both fighters' feet have been good so far.
22:25WBO interim middleweight title.
22:28Two quality craftsmen.
22:30And they both have power.
22:3431 knockouts between them.
22:36We've seen Bentley unload that right hand at the end of the four.
22:42Now Saavedra gets one on the Englishman.
22:45Did he ask for that, Bentley?
22:46Because there's just too many...
22:47There's a two bigger gap before he threw any work.
22:49I mean, taking a rest is good.
22:51Using the ring to create some space is not a bad thing.
22:53But there's two bigger gaps to show.
22:55They did real quality work.
22:57And they went for a walk.
23:01And he's smart Saavedra.
23:03Little shimmy with a head there.
23:05Left and right then a flurry through the body.
23:08Again catching the eye of the judges.
23:09Exactly what I was thinking.
23:10The combinations that...
23:12Busy man.
23:14Maybe with a better shot.
23:17The single shots.
23:18Especially with that right hand and the jab.
23:20This is good work from Denzel Bentley.
23:23Look how good it is.
23:24When he lets his hands go.
23:26Smooth.
23:26Class.
23:27Smooth, yeah.
23:29Can he sustain it?
23:31Nice right hand from Saavedra.
23:32This is a good round as we approach the halfway mark.
23:36Who have you got ahead?
23:37I think it's a good round for Bentley.
23:39He started really good.
23:40He went for a little bit of a walk there.
23:41But he's come back into it hasn't he?
23:44He gets it to clean the walls, doesn't he?
23:47Saavedra.
23:48He was just annoyed about something there.
23:51Bentley's class at times, Darren.
23:53Yeah, I mean, he's proven it.
23:55Sharp shots and very accurate.
23:57Good variation.
23:59It all comes from that relaxed style.
24:01No.
24:01No.
24:05No.
24:07No.
24:08No, no, no.
24:08No, no, no.
24:10No, no.
24:11No.
24:11Big deep breaths in the red corner from Saavedra.
24:15He had his moments in the sixth.
24:17But I think Bentley's quality.
24:20quality
24:21Martin Bowers in the corner
24:23I won't say exactly what he said
24:25But to paraphrase, he put some leather on him
24:28So he's saying, you'll have a success pretty much, be busier
24:31Because when you do throw the punches, it's working for you
24:35It's heavyweight season on DAZN
24:39Over in the States, Jarrell Miller back
24:41In with the undefeated Olympian Lenny O'Perro
24:44Who beat Jordan Thompson last time out
24:47Big baby
24:49Saturday April the 25th
24:50Then of course the big one, Fabio
24:52Who's with us tonight against Daniel
24:55Don't blink, I think that's the best title of the year
24:58What a knockout
25:01That has to be
25:02On May the 9th, can't be anything else
25:05I mean, that's nuts isn't it
25:06Two huge hitters with so much on the line
25:09Love the way that this heavyweight division is playing out at the minute
25:14Again, we've seen Saavedra plowing forward
25:17But
25:18Lendl Bentley looking for those counters
25:20Looking for the right hand, just missing for that one a moment ago
25:22All level on Karl's card
25:24I've got it the same sort of way, maybe
25:26Something different but about that
25:27Have you got either up?
25:29Yeah, I got Saavedra up
25:30So it's just one round different there for me
25:33And Bentley, Tua on the fan zone
25:35What about you Darren? Very close, very very close this one
25:38Bentley just gonna meet him in some resistance as he's come forward
25:41That's it, like he did in the last round
25:42Let your hands go first and if he gets close
25:44You can tie him up, lean on him, turn around
25:47Get back to the centre of the ring
25:48Good body shots from Saavedra there
25:50And he just looks at his corner Denzil Bentley
25:57All about navigating this tactically with that foot movement
26:01But Saavedra not allowing him to breathe here
26:03Up close, this is good work from the Venezuelan
26:06Yeah, that was good work
26:07And you do feel the pace is suing him
26:10He's fighting at his pace, isn't he?
26:13Just like you see him continue that role as he comes forward
26:16Good shot
26:17Oh, good job
26:17Oh, good job
26:18And a great hand back from Bentley
26:19And a great Saavedra's hand
26:21Here it is
26:22A great crowd
26:23Ringing up
26:25Oh, that's a good job
26:26He's facing
26:27He's gonna be taken out here
26:28200 strike
26:30And Denzil Bentley
26:31Wins
26:32The biggest fight
26:33Of his life
26:35The WVO interim middleweight championship
26:39And it was nip and tuck for six rounds
26:42But Denzil Bentley
26:44Found the punches
26:45To stop
26:47Andrei Saavedra
26:49Who is beaten inside the distance
26:51For the first time ever
26:53And that is testament to Denzil Bentley's hard work through the years
27:02That will to win
27:04To keep going
27:05Three defeats on the record
27:07But it is victory tonight
27:09Respect for Andrei Saavedra
27:12And Denzil Bentley has proved himself in world class
27:17That was quality
27:18Look at that
27:19That's how you win the title
27:21Belief
27:22Commitment
27:24Just got into his flow
27:25And once he had Saavedra going
27:28He did not
27:29Barry let him off the hook
27:30He
27:30When you have the problem that Bentley has
27:32You know you can go all in
27:33And he did that
27:35And he
27:35I thought he was warming into the fight
27:37Nicely Bentley
27:38I thought he started a little bit slow
27:39And I had Saavedra slightly ahead
27:41But he had a good round previous I thought
27:43And he looked a little bit more comfortable with his breathing
27:45He came out there
27:46Once he landed with a shot
27:47It was hard to see really wasn't it
27:49But he felt it
27:50He knew he hurt him
27:51And then
27:52Like all good punches do
27:53He came alight
27:54And he just let his hands go
27:56With conviction
27:56And belief
27:58Over the moon
28:00For Denzil Bentley
28:01You know how much this means to him
28:03When he ran over to his blue corner
28:04How much that will do for him
28:08His career
28:09His confidence
28:11Look at this
28:12He just did not let Saavedra off the hook
28:15And there you have it
28:16The new WBO interim middleweight champion
28:19And that on paper was meant to be a really hard fight for him
28:23And he finished it in emphatic fashion
28:25What a result
28:27Terrific
28:28Stoppage victory
28:29And that
28:30Is what this means
28:32To a man that was stopped by Felix Cash
28:36That lost to Janabek
28:37That lost to Nathan Heaney
28:39But he's rattling off victories
28:41And at 31
28:43Denzil Bentley has arrived in the big time
28:46And it couldn't happen
28:47To a nicer fella
28:50We've got a Cinco de Mayo blockbuster
